On Xbox it’s survivor and not even close.

In my thousands of hours on the game, the amount of times a killer has played toxic or sent toxic messages is a tiny tiny fraction of what I’ve experienced from survivors.

As someone who plays on Xbox, I 100% agree with this.

  • I seen

WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY

    more toxic survivors than killers.

Even if I divide the toxic survivors by 6, and times the toxic killers by 2, I'd still have

WAY, way, way, way, way, waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy

    more toxic survivors than killer.

maybe that's just me and my games though.

    EDIT: heh, nice.

  • As a Doctor, I 4Kd a SWF group on a Coldwin map, with all the corn.

I was rank 12 (at the time), against a rank 7.

I almost got a perfect 32,000 bloodpoints. destroyed them, and got iridescent everything.

    I even got pics

(yeah, I know, terrible quality, I'm sorry)

This is the first time I even beaten a SWF, so doing it with 4 iridescent in Coldwin, makes me feel like a badass, like John Wick, or Master Chief, despite me obviously not being any of them.

Explain to me mechanically, using math, how it helps him in a chase, in light of what has already been detailed ad nauseam in this thread regarding his Power having a self-slow, and I'll tell you why you're wrong.

You keep on mentioning he self-slow's himself using his power, but so do most of the killers when going to use their powers.

    1. Spirit has to stop moving for a moment of time to use her power.
    2. Hillbilly and Leatherface have to charge up their chainsaw.
    3. (This part is I think, I know nothing about this killer) Nurse walks slower to charge her blink.
    4. Trapper and Hag have to stop completly to place their traps.
    5. The Plague walks slower charging up her vomit.
    6. Michael walks slower when Stalking.
    7. Freddy (no add-ons) has to wait SEVEN seconds to even hit his victims.
    8. Huntress has to wind up her hatchets to throw them.
    9. Wraith walks slower when uncloaking.
    10. Pig has to charge up her Ambush, which while crouching, she moves slower.

Not trying to say Clown's a good killer, but that self-slow part is kinda irrelevant when every other killer, in some way, also self-slows themselves.

  • Nintendo's direct. That's all.

oh, and on April 16 I officially exceled in Microsoft Powerpoint, but ehh, doesn't really matter.

  • Is it bad that it took me up to 3 hours just to figure this out? Because I feel like that's bad.

  • So there I was, with barbecue sauce on my tidies In the temple of purgation, when Freddy slept someone, and downed them. They DCed, then another person was, slept, downed, DCed. and same with the last person. I gave Freddy a 3 minute chse, then I died on the hook.

Moldy Electrode (25% increase shock range) is pretty good too. Sure if you have yellow or Green they are better but don't neglect the 25% if you don't want to potentially waste one of the others.

As someone who second killer main is Doctor, and I use that Add-On all the time, I'm surprised I forgot that.

  • Lightweight: Scratch marks are visible for 2/3/4 seconds left.

You run lightweight on you, making your running footsteps moderately/considerably/tremendously quieter.

Uhhh, I feel like I'm getting nightmares tonight just for mentioning it.

  • Well, for Myers, most use "Boyfriends Memo" for the "Jumpscare Myers" build...

    And I think that's it.

  • You're saying Nurse is the only viable killer when we have The Spirit.

  • @PhantomMask20763 you forgot to rate the above user's, it's in the title.

Also, Grandma Claudette is unique, and the skin itself looks quiet nice. 10/10.

    Dwight_But_He's_Wearing_My_Cosmetics.PNG

I call him Football Dwight. As you can see, he's been injured quiet a bit, with that university shirt. (It's hard to see the face here, the face is "Black and Blue"

  • SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST EVIL DEAD MOVIE!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!

Actually, in the first movie, he only killed his friends when they were going to kill him. He even tried his hardest to keep... Scott? (forgot his name) alive. And didn't kill his girlfriend until she literally rushed towards him, and even at that, it was just a natural instinct, I bet if he had the chance, he would just keep her alive. And tried locking his sister in the basement so he doesn't have to kill her.

From that movie, he's a very nice guy, who's altruism somehow didn't kill him.

(I haven't seen the other movies)

SPOILERS FOR ASH VS EVIL DEAD!!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

Then from the TV show, we see him go back in time just to save his friend, Pablo. He took the deal with the girl (forgot her name) so she keeps the Necro, and he and his friends Pablo and Kelly can relax. He left all his friends to go to the cabin Alone just so they don't die. And there are other examples.

My main point is that, I don't think the change is uncharacteristic for him. As we seen multiple times that he'd risk himself just so his friends can live. Like he knew that her sister was a deadite, yet he still locked her in the basement so he didn't have to kill her. And to get Pablo back from a demon, he (I think) almost gave up the world for it. Heck, I'd say that this change is MORE characteristic for him, as (again stated) he almost died a lot of times just for his friends survival. So taking a few protection hits instead of basic hits fits him more, in my opinion.

TL;DR: You can't say this is an uncharacteristic change when he almost died numerous times just to save his friends.

  • I have seen Quentins, Lauries, David Tapps… but there's one survivor I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER seen in my lobby. Survivor or Killer. And that survivor is Bill. He's so underplayed, and I have no clue why, he's awesome. But in my lobbies, I never seen a single Bill...

Going to play more DbD *Gets on Xbox because doesn't have PC version*

  • DON'T DWIGHT, REMEMBER LAST TIME YOU DRUNK MOONSHINE!?!?

  • And this is fair to survivors how? Mainly the obsession. Just by getting a 1 out of 4 chance, they're screwed. They will get camped and tunneled.

Not Fun Or Fair for survivors

And this is fun and fair to killers how? With this they HAVE to tunnel the obsesion. And chasing after one survivor twice with no option but to get use out of it. If they bring one, I think they want to kill someone they actually want to kill, not just someone random. Plus, the obsesion might be a really good looper, so the killer can't even use the mori.

Not Fun Or Fair for killers.

  • @Maelstrom10 I assume you think @deadbydaylightfan is talking about @ShrekIsHot 's post, but if you look again at @deadbydaylightfan you can see he's clearly talking about @Name_Unavailable 's post. So they can change it.

  • @Ghostface_Main_TBH

While most of the time true, my mom actually knows Pikachu, 2 of the gen 1 starters, and Eevee

  • @ShrekIsHot Holy Moley! They made Quentin look like a monster (not the EDIT, talking about BHVR)! THEY NEED TO CHANGE HIS FACE TO THAT RIGHT NOW!!

  • I'll split this up in Pros and Cons.

    Pros:

    1. I'm fast.
    2. I'm smart.
    3. I can juke people irl good. Main reason I'm usually last zombie in Zombie Tag.
    4. I'm creative.
    5. I'm happy and hopeful, just like Ace, I'll probably rub of some hope and happiness in others, so they will work their hardest. Which'll also make me continue on.
    6. As someone who was scared of the night forever, I know how to use a flashlight.

    Cons:

    1. While I did say I'm fast, I have very low stamina.
    2. I get side tracked too much.
    3. I'm loud.
    4. I'm scared easily. (however, maybe spending a lot of time in the fog, I might get used to it)
    5. I can get cocky sometimes.
    6. I'm too altruistic. Like if I see the killer camping, I ain't going, but besides that, I have the Altruism stat at max level.

Overall, I'd be an extreme gen rusher. With the ability to make the killer extremely confused. But if I can't juke 'em, I'm dead.

    Overall, I'd rate myself a solid 6.5/10.

  • Last time was to see "Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle."

I didn't like it too much. Jack Black was hilarious though, he seemed to have a lot of fun portraying a pretty, sassy girl in a fat man body.

  • Yeah, mainly because it had someone with my name. I won't say who that person was (hint: male). That's literally the only reason why.

  • They confirmed too many times that Ghostface is a stand alone character.

  • I was bored, again. And decided to make another perk set for me. This time with the twist that It's only music I love. However, the song "You Spin Me" is not here since it was in my second perk set.

    Staying Alive:

They can tell by the way you use your walk, you ain't a lady man, but still no time to talk.

Each time the killer swings at you, but miss, you get 1/2/3 second(s) haste (speed of sprint burst). This perk has a cooldown of 20/15/10 seconds.

    "Staying Alive, Staying Alive"

    I'm gonna be (500 miles):

If you got chased by the killer for 500 seconds in a row, you gain a token. This token will affect all your teammates, and will give them 3%/4/%5% extra action speed for the rest of the trial. Up to a maximum of 5 tokens can be earned.

"Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles to drop dead at your door"

    Don't stop Believin':

Each time a survivor is hooked, it usually brings despair, but you'll never stop believein in yourself. Each time a survivor is hooked, you gain a token. Up to a maximum of 6/7/8 tokens. If you get 3 tokens, you can kobe off the hook in second stage if you're the last one. If you gain 5, you can open the hatch without a key, but this takes 30/20/15 seconds. Lose a token each time your hooked.

    "Hold on to that feelin'"

  • The best game. Not a single game in this glorious bug. I love it.

*me last game: Loses an item I brought in and escaped with (It sucked harder cause that was the last Yellow Med-Kit I had. only have brown on Dwight now)*

Agreed, once a counter is literally a killer that you HAVE too play in order too counter 1 perk, there's a problem.

I third that. I'm sad that this is what the game is... For y'all... #TerriblePlayersThatAreStillInBrownRanksGang

  • Not specifically about the plan, but one I had a long while ago and already asked 2 times

But when the survivors bones are snapping in the end game collapse. Where did y'all get that sound/How did y'all make that sound?

EDIT: Come on man, why the vote down?

  • My original build, do not steal: "I see you, Killer!"

    Perks:

    1. Alert
    2. Breakdown
    3. Buckle Up
    4. Dark Sense

    Item:

    Skeleton Key

    Add-Ons:

    1. Blood Amber
    2. Prayer... rope? The one that added 15 extra seconds.

The point should be obvious, but you never lose sight of killer. All of these involve seeing the killers' aura. OoO is an obvious choice, but I wanted it to be a build, not just one perk and random crap, and it wouldn't fit in this build good.

    1. Nurse
    2. Spirit
    3. Hag
    4. Plague
    5. Huntress
    6. Legion Girls
    7. Pig

@TheGameZpro3 Ok so how do effectively counter MoM as Freddy while maintaining map pressure?

Ok, haven't thought of that. You have a point there.

    @vampire_toothy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/504147#Comment_504147

@TheGameZpro3 so let's take a look at your counters.

1 : Of this list, I will consider Huntress as the only one of two legitimate ways to counter this perk because she actually has to use her power, however it's not impossible to get MoM to activate against her either especially on bad maps.

2 : Leatherface is horrible, his chainsaw provides barely any use in the average match unless the survivor makes a huge mistake.

3 : Hillbilly is on the fence, this can partially be correct but some setups on particular maps are so disgusting that sometimes you have to M1 meaning that like Huntress it's not impossible to activate MoM if you're smart.

4 : Plague isn't that great of a killer, if you can bait an M1 attack before you're broken then her power doesn't matter especially if nobody cleanses.

5 : Legion has an incredibly extensive 20 second cooldown for a mediocre power, sometimes chaining hits is not possible and with not knowing exactly who is running the perk it's entirely possible and very easy to activate MoM against Legion.

6 : Camping is not a counter because you cannot possibly know if someone is running MoM before it activates and so just camping for the sake of camping is just being a dick and should not ever be encouraged. To even hint that this could be a counter indicates it's a flawed design and is a boring tactic for both sides.

So of this list, if you're looking to actually have fun then you can only ever use Billy or Huntress which not everybody wants to exclusively run those two killers and leaves every other killer in the game dry, forcing them to play against it if they choose to not play in an unfun way which is fundamentally flawed as it harms the already weak killers that nobody reasonable ever complains about in the first place.

Judging by your comment you don't like the perk but I think the above needed to be said regardless.

1 and 3: ok, we both agree on that, cool.

    2: Fair

4: Gonna be honest, don't get why people say she's bad. Decent Map Pressure (From survivors spreading the plague), Give everyone No Mither, Survivors are louder with smell clouds making them easier to spot. I swear to god, I think she's the fifth best killer in the game (Nurse, Spirit, Hillbilly, and Hag beat her.). Plus she has good add-ons. All it is just vomit before hitting, don't see how hard that is.

    5: Fair

6: Yea, I don't even know why I said that. Fair.

  • I have an idea.

    "The Rift Market"

People have collected things from the rift they don't want, and will gladly give you for money. (Not real life people). But you must buy quick, because they sell out in a week.

Basically, it's 6 random skins from the rift, and you have to use auric cells. The skins change each week. These skins are worth more then they would be in the shop.

I use this idea as it reward players who played during the battle pass with the skin much cheaper, while allowing newer players or people who couldn't get them to still get the skin.

    Thoughts plz.

  • I agree with all that you said except this:

"There is literally no counter play."

So I'll list the counters now:

    1. The Huntress with good aim. (MoM activates with basic attacks)
    2. Leatherface's Chainsaw
    3. The Hillbilly's Chainsaw
    4. The Plague (If sick the ash to injured, then hit. Do this til 3 hooks. By hitting them exactly 3 times, the MoM isn't active)
    5. The Legion (Same reasoning with PLAG, use feral frenzy, not basic attack, then hit them exactly 3 times whie already injured. MoM won't activate.)
    6. Camp em on first hook (not recommended to camp, but it is a counter)
  • Sorry, but I am a grammar freak.

implayable is not a word, you're looking for unplayable...

    Ok, on the actual topic:

Idk, I'm still in Brown Ranks.

  • Well actually there is one!

With "No Mither" all Exposed status effects don't work on you.

  • You know how the Mona Lisa is considered the best art in the world?

The thing is that not even the creator liked it, and when stolen from a museum, the guards didn't even notice for over a day. It was then in media, and got really popular. Then got know to be the greatest in the world.

    Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQr4FhbcPMg

The reason I mention this is because she got popular by the "Mere-Exposure Effect," which is how popular or how much you seen something, the more you like it. And this is where I get to Dwight. Dwight is arguably the most popular character from Dead by Daylight (not including the licensed characters) For starters, Mathew Cote (I think his name was) looks very identical to Dwight. Puppers (a really popular streamer) plays Dwight. Dwight appears all over the tutorials, being the person you play in survivor tutorial, and appearing once (I think) in the killers tutorial. When new players play either survivor or killer, they see Dwight on the load screen. Dwight is in most of new chapter voice thing? The ones that explain what the new killer, survivor, and map are. And lastly, Dwight has the most items in the official DbD merch store. With him being seen most, the mere-exposure effect sure does favor him.

Heck, I'll admit I mained Dwight because I saw Puppers (my favorite streamer) play him.

EDIT mid post: I forgot to mention the locker Dwight meme and the cult of Dwight meme.

But hey, that's just a theory. A GAMEY THEORY! And thanks for reading.

  • Ehh, $5 too low, but $10 too high. So I'd say $7.50

  • As long as the charms are not in the premium pass, I'm cool.

I just really LOVE the idea of charms in the game, so if a single one is locked behind a pay wall (unless it was just a sign saying "Season 1 Rift Pass," because it's stupid, and just a bragging right) I will freak the foop out.

Nevertheless, I'll most likely still buy it because of Dwight and Ace cosmetics I can't miss.

  • Hold on, I'm All Ears is actually REALLY good for Ghost Face. As Ghost Face can make his terror radius 0, I think it can have uses for him.

Other killers I think it'll work for:

Wraith (While Cloaked, no terror radius... 0.0)

Pig (While Crouched, no terror radius... 0.0)

    And obviously, Michael Myers.

It's situational, don't get me wrong, but I think it'll be incredible for the right killers, and it's on Ghost Face, which it works with (unlike the Doctors M&A)

  • Yes! I keep my $0.01.

1 … 6 7 8 9 10 … 13
