Although the hitboxes aren't the best thing about this game, I think that your connection is what matters the most.
-
B-but you have to repair generators to open the hatch!!!111!1!
Even today there are kids who defend that the keys aren't bad. The developers months ago said that the keys would receive a change, but the hatch received it, and on the anniversary live they said that they were going to change the keys, but they didn't say anything concrete or any specific date.
They just delay it indefinitely.

Seriously, whats wrong about using Self Care + Botany + Medkit, tell me? Self Care is only a detriment to the survivor team if it is used badly, always running to the edge of the map and healing there, possibly even through mangled. If you heal on the spot the moment you are no longer chased, using your medkit, you are healthy again in just a few seconds. What is your problem with that?
Self Care is not bad per se, neither is Urban Evasion. It's the players using it wrong that hurts the team. I use Self Care + Botany + Medkit from time to time myself, and usually do not need to use Self Care at all bc the Medkit holds long enough. Which it does bc. of Self Care's secondary effect.
Of course Self-care and Botany are amazing! Use it all you can please, I will wait impatiently for the survivors with such an incredible build 😍

Self Care + Botany + Medkit, thats perfectly valid. Sluzzy posts enough questionable things, correspond to that instead of shaming bc of Self Care.
Keep saying it's great, I'm very afraid of the survivors who use that combo 😈

They’ve got it paired with Botany Knowledge. I don’t agree with a lot of Sluzzy, but BK with Self Care is always acceptable.
Yeah yeah, amazing combo, keep using it and saying it's great, I'm very afraid of the survivors who use that combo 😈

If healing your team mates or healing yourself is "Helping the Killer" I think you my friend would make a great killer main or assistant. But only while you're playing survivor. So please, by all means, do not heal yourself, don't bring any healing perks, and absolutely do not heal your team mates.....
Makes my job infinitely easier if everyone is injured....you have no idea how much people not healing helps me kill people. I wish more survivors just, didn't heal. My god....you are the perfect survivor to use to get all the other survivors to kill themselves through misplays. If we ever get into a match together, I will remind myself to save you for last, or even give you the hatch for helping me murder all your team mates because of refusal to heal.
Thanks for using self-care, you are fearsome and if I meet you in my games I will be afraid of you 😌

I actually take a med-kit most games. I also never said they were incredible perks. But feel free to quote where I said that. I’ve won hundreds of games using Self-Care and Botany Knowledge though? I’ve even won against Otzdarva and Sammymjay using these perks. Are you saying that those Fog Whisperers are poor killers? 🙃
I also never said this was a ‘God’ build. I’d literally never refer to any build like that. Because I’m not a child. All I said is that those perks together are a good combo. Which is true and something I’ll always stand by. If you want to believe they help the killer. You’re entitled to your wrong opinion.
So keep being bitter. 💕
Yes yes, I have also managed to beat Obama and Trump with that incredible build!
Keep making my games easier 😍

We both know Sluzzy but Self Care + Botany Knowledge makes med-kit so strong and useful. I am using this combo sometimes. Sluzzy seem like used same combo on screenshots.
Yes, with a med kit they are decent perks, but @SalmonDean thinks they are incredible perks that allow an entire team to win. Anyway, this is what happens when you win 2 games in a row against poor killers and you think your build is god...

They’re using it with Botany Knowledge though, which is actually a good combo. Try it out for yourself. If you can consistently hit great skill-checks, you heal yourself pretty damn fast.
Again, thanks for using two perks that only serve to heal yourself (and one of them to heal others slightly faster).
They are neither meta perks nor "fun" perks, they are simply perks to help the killer.
-
Thanks for showing me that you use Self-Care, now I understand a lot of things.
Again, thank you for helping to make my games easier.

What does that even mean? what is minimum level? are you saying red ranks? I have been red ranks since ranks were implemented... Ranks are not indicative of skill level, as they are achievable by grinding and doing the right things to pip. Players still dive bomb hooks to get challenges done and for blood points, you can find people working on gens together, you can find them healing, you can find multiple people, multiple times in a map and if you use her puke you can hit multiple people with regularity. I am not the best plague player and probably only a good killer, nothing amazing. It seems like you are just trying to discredit, or prove your point by being belligerent. If you think that those challenges you were referring to are only achieved by farming, then that is ignorant. It is a challenge, and not all of them are meant to be achievable the first time, or in every trial. I recognized they are more difficult, and I like the difficult ones. They are also still entirely optional if you find yourself unable to achieve them. I have never farmed for any challenge, but I have altered gameplay to do so.
It is more important to me that people have fun. For instance, the Tome one with the trapper took me a considerable amount of time. Back then trapper wasn't as outclassed as he is now, but some of it is rng. The older tomes have more time consuming challenges in general and that is okay too. not everything has to be done in a day. I am okay with locking in the challenge when I want to play plague and maybe getting it maybe not. I think I got it second or third game, so it wasnt an issue, but again, I struggled with the kill everyone as doctor a year ago or whatever it was, and had many matches of getting tbagged because I just didnt have the requisite skill on doc, or honestly the game awareness or map knowledge yet. I can sweat out a 4k on pretty much any killer, but that hurts the community and newer players get a bad impression. It is important that people like the game, or we have longer queues and less variety.
If you play for fun, then you get them along the way, or dont do them if you dont like them, but complaining about variety and optional challenges just because you think they are difficult is a unfortunate way to be. Just stay positive, and have fun, you will get better and or you will have some of the crazy matches that we all have where survivors get overly altruistic and you punish it. hits still count through BT and soulguard, etc. Put ranks and challenges out of your mind if it stresses you out, and in my opinion the game becomes more fun, and you can focus on what makes you a better player.
Honestly, I haven't read your text because its a lot and I am a lazy person, but I wish you all the luck possible in life and I hope you can continue to achieve all the impossible challenges easily, simply and of course, having fun.

If you choose to farm or camp, then that is on you. Challenges dont inherently call for that. That is just trying to cheat the challenge, that is totally optional. They can be completed in normal gameplay. It might take a couple matches, but who cares? Have fun with it, or dont do it.
By saying that you show me that you don't play against people with a minimum level.
If you can hit two people with Plague Corruption at once twice in the game without camping or farming, send me a video because you are probably the best Plague player out there.

Those Characters get Lore. But other Characters (Zarina and Trapper) also get Challenges. They also have Cosmetics in the Rift.
But there are also skins of other Survivors like Kate / Claudette or Killers like Blight / Huntress. Why have they decided to make challenges of Zarina and the Trapper?
I ask because I don't know if they have something to do with the lore of the Plague and Bill or just completely random.
@Woodywool said:
It's an usual thing now to add different characters on the level 3 and 4. Like we have Adam in the Tome 5.
P.S. I think that this challenge will be a mess like the Plague's one from the recent tome on level 2 :(
These Challenges simply encourage farming or even camping, I don't understand why they aren't able to think of Challenges that are really challenges and not a joke.

Many times I see people asking for a way to know when the Spirit is using its power... I don't know, it seems to me that even knowing if it is using its power or not, it will be practically the same. You will keep doing random things (use a pallet and pray Spirit is on the other side of the pallet, vault a window, etc.), many times when a Survivor gains distance and I'm standing, it's obvious that I'm using the power, and yet I catch him fast because he doesn't exactly know my location.
The biggest problem I see with nerfing it (or doing something that adds counterplay) would be the SWFs. Currently against a good SWF most of the time you are only going to get a good amount of bloodpoints and you are going to have several hooks (even do a 4K) with the Nurse and the Spirit.
Basically nerfing the Spirit would be the same as buffing the SWF, and that seems like a problem to me, but it's true that the Spirit cannot continue like this forever, but it's also a problem that the developers said a long time ago that they were going to make changes to the early game of the game to avoid the genrush in early, and here we are... (I say this last because it would be a good nerf to SWFs that are divided between generators and genrush at the beginning of the game).

pretty sure mmr is always active,if they tell people when mmr is active then most killers will throw the game away to be matched with low rank survivors
"Always" I doubt it, but I'm pretty sure they will do tests without warning, because after all, warning and without warning you get different results, since, as you say, there are people who simply play badly to reduce their MMR or simply play differently.
I don't know, it just seems weird to me that coincidentally with the Wraith, which I haven't played for two years and barely played it then, I play against bad Survivors and when I play with the Killers that I'm best at, I face good Survivors or even SWF.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
Probably just a coincidence. This isn't even how MMR should work for DbD when it's on. Killer fundamentals carry over to each killer and it doesn't really matter what killer you play if you're good, you're gonna do well with that killer because the mechanical skill floor is so low. You should be getting roughly the same-skilled survivors with every killer, and on your main you get slightly more-skilled. If this isn't how it's gonna work then it's gonna be a disaster but I hope they've thought about how good players have actually become at this game for once.
"You should be getting roughly the same-skilled survivors with every killer, and on your main you get slightly more-skilled."
What nonsense is this? They're supposedly going to add the MMR on every Killer, right? So if I'm horrible with a certain Killer, am I still going to face good Survivors?
I don't see the point, I thought that if I was bad with a Killer (or had never played it), I would face low-level Survivors, which is what seems most logical to me, the problem with Ranks' system is that if I want to practice with a Killer and I constantly face against good Survivors, it's almost impossible to learn (and also the desire to learn it takes away), with the MMR I thought, and I think it's the most logical thing, that I would face Survivors of "low level "(I'm not referring to Survivors that have 20 hours of play either, but I don't see any reason to face one of 2k hours).
-
I would love for them to release different / original perks.
The perks each time seem to me that they are "more of the same" (not all) and in general the vast majority of the perks you have mentioned seem to me that they aren't good. They aren't very bad, but I wouldn't put them in my build.
-
@Almo said:
MMR is not yet actively creating matches. It is still taking data in the background. We will let you know when it starts making matches! :)
I hope so, I just played a fourth game and it's been more of the same, but hey, It will be that I have "good luck" (which isn't good luck either because against bad survivors I don't improve with the Killer and I barely get bloodpoints)...

Your argument trying to say that my argument is bad is ridiculously lousy.
Are you saying that a Killer that isn't fun to play NEITHER WITH NOR AGAINST THEM should not have a rework? Just forgetting it like a Killer that's not fun?
Yes, your argument makes a lot of logic.

The way I see it, if someone escapes through the Hatch, they earned it. In order to do this you have to have completed a certain number of generators and have found the hatch before the killer, which is really hard on some maps.
Killers complaining about keys really just need to take a chill pill. It's just one escape, and it barely happens ever. You don't need a 4K, dude.
"Killers complaining about keys really just need to take a chill pill. It's just one escape"
Since when does the key only allow ONE survivor to escape?
I've seen more hatch escapes between two survivors than just one survivor, and only because according to you "they have earned it for repairing." Yes, for repairing 3 generators, which are easy to repair early in the game if one survivor loops a killer (that don't finish the chase quickly like Nurse or Spirit) for only 80 seconds and the other 3 survivors repair separate generators.
Allows survivors to escape unfairly by keeping M1 on a generator and before repairing all 5 gens and opening doors, as well as denying any type of late-focused perk, such as NOED, No Way Escape, Blood Warden, Fire Up, etc.
Even if not a single generator has been repaired and the killer kills 3 survivors, the hatch spawns, allowing a survivor who doesn't deserve to escape because he did nothing, to escape.
The survivors who really think that the keys aren't bad, you can tell that they are baby suvirvors who don't know how to loop and haven't played killer in their lives.
-
A year ago when I started playing it I lost about 4 games in a row (when I say lose, I mean I made few bloodpoints and they all escaped), and I hated Demo to death.
But once in this same forum I saw someone put a tutorial about the Demogorgon, its best Addons / Perks and how to play it correctly...
Since then I am main Demodog 🤗

Imagine saying that Wraith is overpowered and getting votes. How bad do you have to play survivor?

@Blueberry said:
I like quite a few of the buffs mentioned here but in another post a dev commented they would not be adding more zombies and they would most likely not be adding any more range to his tentacle attack.
Really a buzz kill there, especially for the zombies to me. 2 just doesn't cut it on larger maps. They said well killers have some good maps and some "bad maps". So the zombies not really functioning on larger maps is just going to be their bad maps, even though that coding would be extremely easy to change.
Rather than more distance on tentacles they said if anything it would be something like added features. IE maybe the tentacles in t3 can hit more than one survivor if they're stacked. I suppose this would also include something like decrease cooldown time as a consideration by that criteria.
So when we're looking at buffs extra zombies and tentacle length is basically already off the table. Figured this would help us narrow down other potential ways of improving them.
For this kind of thing the balance team is so bad. They refuse to do "x" thing because supposedly they have tried it and didn't like it, instead of trying it on PTB and / or Live Servers.
They also tried the Trickster and liked it? 😂

I see the right click very strong, but it's true that the Tiers feels very empty and the Zombies very weak / too RNG (indoor map dependent). Tier 2 isn't bad because it allows you to break pallets and breakable walls, but I think they should give Zombies some kind of upgrade as well. According to a developer who commented here on the forums, they did tests and two Zombies was the "most balanced" (I would love to see what kind of tests they did so that on a giant open map two Zombies are balanced).
I've said it several times already, but what they should do is if you play on an indoor map, 2-3 Zombies should spawn, but if you play on an outdoor map, 3-4 Zombies should spawn, 2 is an incredibly small number for a large and open map, plus they are very slow.
If they can't program something as simple as "if the map is Lery, Hawkins, The Game, etc., 2-3 Zombies spawned, otherwise 3-4 zombies spawned", I think it's a problem of the programmers.
Nor can we say that they are useful for camp hooks and / or gens, many times I have seen one of my Zombies near a gen that is being repaired and they don't attack the Survivors because "the Zombie doesn't see them".
-
I have already played more than 15 games with him and his right click seems very very strong to me, but the Zombies in the vast majority of the maps are completely useless, too little intelligence and a lot of RNG, and even in closed maps which is where best they work, they only get to hit twice as much.
I think he needs a few changes because, although I think Zombies need to be heavily buffed, Buffed Zombies along with the right click I think would do too much to him, so I think both parts should be tweaked.

According to the DbD Wiki, the only change the keys have had is in the model, nothing more: Dead by Daylight Wiki

Sluzzy is on here spitting logic at these super biased players who refuse to see how vastly different keys and moris are. Made an account to give you props for proving these people wrong while not being disrespectful. Anyone who thinks keys have even remotely the same impact as moris has never played both sides of this game
"Sluzzy is on here spitting logic"
- What logic is Sluzzy spitting out? That the DS was weak before the nerf without any kind of argument to back it up? According to Sluzzy, DS is weaker after the nerf but according to statistics it's still the same, so why has Sluzzy said that he believes in statistics then?
- Can't you repair if a killer interrupts you? The Killer interrupts 1 survivor at a time, not all 4 in the game.
- What button should I press if I am playing Trickster or Ghost Face to avoid that, although a survivor is very good at looping, I can deny the loop? What killers are meta according to Sluzzy? Nurse and Spirit? 2 killers against 23 killers in total there?
- On top of that, Sluzzy complains that we killers can take perks to make the game "easier". Don't survivors have perks? Tell me, what logic is Sluzzy spitting out?
- I tell you the same thing that I have told Venzhas, at no time have I said that the keys are as problematic as the old Moris, but you make it look as if the keys were much more balanced, and there is no difference as abysmal as the you make see.
It seems that you are Sluzzy with a secondary account, to say that that is "spit logic" makes as much sense as Sluzzy's arguments 😂

Well, it's fine to doubt their stats if you have a good reason to, but "well, DS was nerfed" isn't really enough. There are other factors beyond just the balance of DS at play here. The numbers have to be from different patches, for example, so unless they're normalizing for the balance of that specific patch somehow that's probably more of a factor in the kill rate for DS users than DS itself.
Neither side's role is easy and SWF is not as strong as you're making it out to be, especially in public matches.
Old Moris were substantially more busted than old keys:
- Offering slot (unlike keys, Moris can be combined with top add-on combinations and the power differential with other rare offerings is substantially higher than keys with other rare items)
- No available counters / easier and more reliable to use (survivor builds are already fixed by the time they even know there's a chance of a Mori being in play, and plus a killer can almost always re-down the first survivor hooked relatively quickly; if a killer is set on tunneling for an early Mori, a bit of bodyblocking isn't going to stop them; meanwhile, keys have a handful of solid counters and can be planned around from the lobby, or even dodged)
- Larger overall impact on the game (keys change little until the hatch spawns and most frequently save 0 or 1 survivors, whereas Moris can be used at any stage of the game and basically ensure a 3k + hatch or 4k assuming decent matchmaking; Moris nearly always have a large impact on the game, while keys sometimes have a large impact but are often irrelevant; if you escape through the gate, if you escape through the open hatch or die before being able to use the key on the closed hatch as the last survivor, if you die earlier in the match and you're either running a weaved ring or your teammates don't locate your key, if you lose your key to Franklin's, etc. your key did little for you and just took up a slot that could have been filled with a more broadly useful item)
- Higher drop rate in the bloodweb (there are more ultra rare loadout items for survivor than for killer, so keys show up less frequently than Moris)
I'm not saying keys are fine currently. They are inconsistent, but their ceiling is very high and they also frustrate people, so I do think a rework makes sense. I don't think there is any equivalence between the two, though, so threads like this one get a bit tiring. Superficial comparisons of "tHeY bOtH mEaN yOu DoN't NeEd To Do YoUr ObJeCtIvE" and such are ignoring how much stronger Moris were than keys. I realize you didn't say this in your comment, but many people do.
"SWF is not as strong as you're making it out to be"
- Are you telling me that SWFs aren't as strong as I say? So you've never been to a SWF / never played a decent one. With SWF I don't mean 4 people with 100 - 300 hours each, but 4 people with 2k - 4k hours each, who know how to loop perfectly taking advantage of each window / pallet / long walls / etc., they know how to choose which gens to repair (in other words, they don't repair many gens that are close to each other), they can decide who rescues someone from the hook and who continues to repair, etc. I repeat, if you really think SWFs aren't as strong as I say, you've never been into one or never gone against a decent one.
"a killer can almost always re-down the first survivor hooked relatively quickly"
- Not against a SWF (which, according to you, aren't that strong) that 100% of the time have BT, and if you try to down someone who has 4k hours and above with Endurance, good luck. Obviously the amount of SWF is much smaller than the rest of the players, I'm not saying that the Moris don't deserve the nerf, but It's funny that you say that you can "always" down a survivor.
"keys have a handful of solid counters and can be planned around from the lobby, or even dodged"
- Solid counters? Could you tell me? You don't happen to be talking about Franklin's Demise, are you? That perk becomes completely useless the moment the survivors from the start of the game leave the key on the ground / in a chest for the entire game until the hatch appears. And exactly what are you planning in the lobby? Are you going to become aware that there are keys and therefore are you going to play better so that survivors repair fewer generators? Do I have to exchange my perks / addons / offering just for a key? Are you telling me that I have to dodge a lobby and find another lobby for another 5-10 minutes because of a key? ...
"while keys sometimes have a large impact but are often irrelevant; if you escape through the gate, if you escape through the open hatch"
- Keys are a problem the moment the hatch appears, but repairing 5 generators isn't the same as winning the game. Killers with one-shot abilities or with perks like NOED, No Way Out, Blood Warden, etc., can turn the game around and kill multiple survivors before they open the doors and / or escape through them. This happens especially with "weak" killers, normally they usually repair the 5 gens before you have killed someone (or just one), so if you see someone with a key and you go with a weak killer, the survivors are quite good so they manage to repair 5 gens while you haven't killed anyone or you have only killed one, there is no possible comeback, because no matter how many perks you have or oneshot ability, a key doesn't care about that.
With all this I don't mean that the keys are as problematic as the old Moris were, but people make it look like the keys are incredibly more balanced than the old Moris, and that's not true.
At least I have been able to argue with someone who provides normal arguments, not like Sluzzy's arguments like "killers are very op and survivors are poop."

I mean .... DS used to work on pick up for about a years. BT used to give endurance to BOTH people for about a year, OoO was unchanged for 4 years.... give it "a bit" before we start to look at numbers that indicate that there is a posibility of a problem existing around key usage.
Keys were introduced in patch 1.1.2 (late 2016) and have never been changed, unlike the perks you have named. Where do you want to get with your comment?

You misunderstood everything I said, so let's just end it there
Unless you were being sarcastic in your previous comment (I hope so, because what a comment), I don't understand why you say I have misunderstood you.
If you were really sarcastic, sorry for answering you like that, considering the existence of Sluzzy, I wouldn't be surprised if there was another main survivor around here who really put that comment.

Yes you can still use "changing keys takes more time than Moris" as an excuse, because it does. And also, developing a game like DBD is not easy, it takes time. Keys are not the only thing they are working with.
They are patching bugs and glitches, they have been working on chapters like the RE chapter, they have to deal whit this community, and much more. They are not working 24/7, it will take time for them to nerf keys.
You could use the excuse that "changing keys takes more time than Moris" when Moris were nerfed, but not 6 months later.
Keys aren't the only thing they work on, but there isn't a single person/team in charge of everything, which is what you seem to believe. A single person or team isn't in charge of creating killers / survivors, rework maps, fixing bugs, changing perks, etc.
What you cannot do is think that the keys cannot be changed because they are working on other things. Following your logic, they would never end up with anything because they are always working on things.
If the game weren't programmed in a spaghetti code, they would have to work on fewer bugs and glitches, but of course, as it's not the case, they have less time to change the keys, I understand.

I believe it. DS was a weak perk, made even weaker. Now punishes for playing the game to keep it. Even before the nerf, if the killer didn't tunnel it wasn't used. Now, you can heal and they tunnel for free. Horrendous change and had no effect so it made the game less enjoyable for survivor side.
You can't finish the M1 repair if the killer interrupts you and that is what usually happens. You either have to help a teammate or the killer is interrupting you. Then with killer perks, the progress is lost. No matter how good you are at looping if a killer can press a button and deny the loop, the meta killers totally denys looping, the ONLY defense you have against killers but is denied by killer powers.
What I am reading is that you are upset an item has a small chance of countering your guaranteed sealed in the bag victory. The end game is when killers are the strongest and you are upset a key is countering your ultra powerful build.
If killers can pick perks that make their game easier, survivors should have something to make their end game easier as well.
"DS was a weak perk" - lol. Following your overwhelming logic that the DS was weak and is now MORE weak, why do the stats show that it is not weaker? Hasn't the probability of escaping even been reduced by 1%? Ha ha, sure.
"You can't finish the M1 repair if the killer interrupts you and that is what usually happens" - There are 4 survivors and the killer can only be with one, I think you have forgotten that.
"Then with killer perks, the progress is lost" - It bothers you that the killer has 4 perks but it doesn't bother you the 16 perks in total that you have the survivors among them, right?
"No matter how good you are at looping if a killer can press a button and deny the loop" - What button? What button does the Trickster have to press to deny that loop? 16 times the right click? That isn't pressing 1 button, it's pressing it 16 times. What do you mean by pressing a button?
"If killers can pick perks that make their game easier, survivors should have something to make their end game easier as well." - I mean, hello? Do you know that survivors have perks too? Now I understand why you complain so much about killers, you've never used perks from what I see.
If at least your arguments were logical I would feel like I'm doing something useful in arguing against you, but all you do is defend the keys and survivors because you are bad at the game, not because you have a good reason.

Keys are nowhere close to the power of moris were. With keys, both the objective has to be done and others have to die. Then the hatch has to be found. And that assumes the killer doesn’t have franklins. Extremely situational and a lot of work on the survivor part.
Now look at Moris. Cut the objective in exactly half, when the objective of killer is already a walk in the park. Most of the time Moris were used for revenge and a player was eliminated from the match within a minute. Does a key have that kind of power? No.
For keys to be like Moris, all four survivors would win when 2.5 gens were done. Statistically, its been shown and said by the devs themselves that key escapes are extremely low. They have no impact in the large grand scheme of things. Moris did.
They are not comparable. Saying keys should be nerfed because moris were nerfed is killer entitlement.
Oh god, @Lord_Tony I invoke you, I can't handle Sluzzy's amazing arguments!
For starters, the BHVR stats are a joke / fake. The latest statistics they put on the DS indicated that the percentage of people who escaped was the same as before the nerf. Are you telling me that DS was previously a perk that offered you invulnerability for 60 seconds and now that you are no longer invulnerable you still have the same escape rate? Okey.
"when the objective of killer is already a walk in the park" - People keep asking you for a gameplay of you playing, because I don't know what you mean by "walk in the park". I guess you don't have friends to try it, but being in a SWF is synonymous with destroying any killer (except maybe the Spirit and the Nurse).
"With keys, both the objective has to be done and others have to die." - You say it as if repairing generators that is literally holding M1 for 80 seconds was just as difficult as trying to capture a survivor who can loop you easily using and managing windows / pallets well, although I imagine that looking at your comment history you don't know how to loop very well.
With the Moris you had to capture a survivor twice, and that could take a long time, long enough to have a large number of gens repaired. That doesn't mean it was balanced, the nerf was deserved, but the same goes with the Keys, if 3 survivors have died and one remains, you have lost. If 2 survivors have died and 3 gens have been repaired, you have lost, etc. Even repairing the 5 gens allows the 4 survivors to escape without having to go to the gates. Having repaired 5 gens isn't synonymous with having won. Killers with one-shot abilities or with perks like NOED, No Way Out, Blood Warden, etc., can turn the game around and kill multiple survivors, but the Keys completely override that.
Basically if you have a late-focused build and they have a key, keep in mind that you will not take advantage of the build because of that key.

Keys are just not that much of an issue to me. But I actually like the hatch mechanic. I like the mini-game of being down to the last 2 players looking for hatch. And when someone brings a key, half the time they throw the game looking for hatch when they could have finished the last generator. I would say that overall keys are pretty neutral.
Yes, and I like the Spirit, but that doesn't mean that she is balanced.

They mentioned that they still weren't sure if the keys were an actual problem a couple months ago, so I take that hatch duration change as them just starting to work on keys. Changing Mori's took years of complaints and all they did was change it from 1 hooks to 2, so I don't expect a full key rework anytime soon but I hope I am wrong.
People have been complaining about the Moris and the Keys for years, yes, the only difference is that that simple change to the Mori completely destroyed it and the change to the Hatch was in the vast majority of occasions useless.

Are you perhaps playin on WiFi? Even with a good ping and high transfer rates, wireless connections are always unstable when compared to wired connections. They're super fine for your usual stuff like office work, browsing and streaming but WiFi really falls apart in some gaming scenarios especially fighting games.
Maybe this instability could be causing your blink issues.
I'm connected by cable, I don't use Wi-Fi.

The problem isn't ping related there's an actual bug.

It's exactly that bug. I couldn't record it in time, thank goodness you have a .gif 😂

I've been seeing it ton more since the update and when I have it it's for the whole match
This is true. I said that I wanted to start playing Nurse, but I had already played it on other occasions (not many, but now I'm leveling it and increasing its prestige, so I play it more and with better perks/addons), and, except for this update, this bug has never occurred to me like this.
Other times it had happened to me that in the second Blink the Nurse's breath sounded many times when she charges the Blink, but at least she let me perform the second Blink. Since this update no, it just sounds her breath many times but she won't let me do the Blink.

@Mr_K said:
Only thing you can do is not use the 2nd blink for awhile.
Her blink bugs are mostly tied to your ping to the server. The higher it is the more issues you will have.
I always play at 30-40ms...

What a weird match! I don't see hackers often (probably because I play on the PS4) but for someone to not be spammy but just... Proud to show off that they bought/downloaded some hacks is so strange. 😂Do you run into hackers often?
I have been playing for about 3 years and I think I have only encountered about 4-5 hackers. It should be noted that I just deactivated Crossplay and my first game without Crossplay I found a hacker 😂
I have noticed that the forum censors the name (quite obvious because it is not a pretty name to say). Basically what has censored me is the n-word (you can imagine the name that this guy had).
I hope he will be banned soon, I even have a video recorded.

Today I ran into a Dwight called "My favorite ######### is dead #########."
Not only did the name seem too long to appear in full in the DBD, but on top of that when I saw his Steam profile a different name appeared. The Dwight also had legacy clothes, and as you can imagine, he was a hacker.
It wasn't a bad game because he wasn't the typical hacker who just annoys and #########, it was more fun than I expected (I got 2 kills because the guy basically didn't care about his premade, he just wanted to show me how he flew, repaired engines instantly, it healed instantly, had infinite firecrackers, etc).
It's one of the strangest names that I have come across and I found it quite curious that just the same day that I see that name there is a thread about the names of the survivors 😂.
