I'm not worried.
People will get over themselves and figure out its still a great perk
I'm dreading the day people will come to their senses and start using it again

It's just like when DS was nerfed.
Everyone said it was dead and freaked out when they saw it got nerfed. Everyone took it off their builds too.
Three weeks later, people realized "hey its still really really good" and it's usage went right back up
Yeah, usage is slowly going back up, it's sitting around 3.75% for now
-
Pyramid Head is better than Nemesis in pretty much every regard
-
Yes, I've played her today almost exclusively. Got a 14 4k streak too
-
I've faced her twice ever since she came out
-
Killers need buffs and DH needs a rework
-
I just went on a 14 4K streak on Artist, Killer is playable
-
It's not toxic, but it also isn't fair imo

Have you considered the official Discord of DbD? I´ve met some great people there and you can get a 4 man squad within minutes.
I can really recommend this!
I... got banned so that's not an option
-
Way too many God Pallets and not enough Windows, there's like 7 in total
-
Being able to see which Survivors were in a SWF and which weren't at the end of The Trial would be so good for data collection
-
"Gen-rushing" can mean a lot of things, it differs from person to person, but it's usually used when Survivors just played better/more efficient than the Killer, same goes for tunneling, camping and slugging
-

Good sir, may i interest you in a SWF party? They certainly can be exactly what you desire.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/48QUV1FG3T21/unnamed.jpg
I'm interested, but a SWF doesn't give the same feeling as 4K'ing a team of cocky Survivors after 5 Generators have been powered, and I'm not even that good a Survivor
-
I'm not a masochist, I'd say I'm more of a sadist, it's one of the reasons I like Killer more than Survivors, playing efficiently as Killer can make Survivors feel pretty bad (understatement of the century, I know)
-
No.

Corrupt is fine.
Hiding and waiting out Corrupt is the wrong way to counter it

Fair point. Maybe it could be tweaked then to only be usable early in the match - so up until 3 gens have been done or something. Or increase the amount of time spent on the hook in the terror radius etc.
I don't blame killers for camping late on in the match. I think that's fair, but i think we need an early match counter.
- This would be a bandaid fix which isn't good
- I personally don't think there needs to be any Perks that counter camping, as there is a base-kit counter, known as doing Generators
- Camping and tunneling early game is the smartest move a Killer can do, and honestly the only good move
-
Very overpowered.
Imagine losing the game thanks to a 3-Gen then this activates and the Killer loses all the pressure they had
-
Friendly/Farm games are boring imo.
If a Survivor D/C's, I'll just kill everyone and finish the game
-
This radiates more troll energy than "Bait it out 4head"

Now COH is Self-care tier maybe a little bit better. We all remember Self-care meta when instead of doing gens self-care survivors just constantly healed themselves sabotaging main objective. You waste a lot of time for something that killer takes away in a second.
Another overnerfed survivor perk that goes straight to the graveyard of survivors perks to accompany Lucky break and Boil over
CoH is still faster and more efficient than Self-Care, it's the best healing Perk Survivors have
-
Bubba's cooldown refers to the cooldown Bubba goes after using his Power, the time it takes him to put his chainsaw downs after using it.
Token recharge refers to the time it takes to recharge his Chainsaw Charges

Ok fine. You got me.
We will have maps that consists of infinites and dead zones. That way there will be places that if survivors go the killer auto wins and places that if the survivor goes they auto win. You said it yourself dead zones are great, amazing game design.
So are you happy with that or will you now take issue with this?
I think you're confusing me with someone else, I never said Dead-Zones, nor God loops, are good game design

Every Devotion level increases your Bloodpoint gain by 10%, aswell increasing your Bloodpoint cap by 32k

It is not surprise. CoH is still very good perk but now no heal is stronger. Res is rewarding me for staying injured. It's makes generators faster and vaults stronger. And Adrenaline rewards me as well.
It's so sad. BHVR made new mechanic for change meta but except CoH, all of boons are garbage. And i can see another nerf for Coh and it will die too after next nerf. BHVR failed again.
I disagree with not healing being stronger than CoH.
Not healing means you're having 1 Health State chases, unless you're using Dead Hard, in which case you have 2 Health States, which is a normal chase that lasts around ~45-60 seconds.
With CoH, not only are you healing incredibly fast, but your chases can have up to 3 Health States thanks to DH, so your chases will last even longer, resulting in faster Generator progress

A god loop requires either a pallet or breakable wall. Once said pallet or breakable wall is used it is no longer a god loop. So now you are arguing that survivors should be able to add pallets as the match progress correct. Or was this just poorly thought out?
A God loop can also consist of Windows entirely, just like nearly every house of Haddonfield
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
I back to no heal meta. I put Resilience and Adrenaline back to my builds. Genrush and get heal at end game better than current CoH.
Adrenaline is way more popular than usual, it has appeared around twice the amount of CoH, around 5.5%

I just gave you logic and reason so guess your just irrational sounds about right coming from a killer main. Literally everything I just said is true killers always have the upper hand cause all you have to do is kill 1 person to win but they still cry.
1 Sacrifice is a loss

Yeah.. you're not really in any position to discus what a good killer is.
I asked for a area in maps where if I a survivor reach I will escape 100% of the time, assuming.
Your first example was to say cowshed. That is not what I said at all. Unless you meant main building. Which would be just wrong.
Your second example to say "good killers hit survivors and leave." That does not address my point at all.
Really can you at least try to answer my question. Or even better, reflect and maybe consider that I might have a point. Or will you change the goalposts a third time?
I don't think we're talking about the same type of loops.
Getting hit at a God loop is nigh impossible, unless you're bad.
Yes, Cowshed is a Map based around being constantly safe. It's littered with God loops.
I'm sorry you can't loop effectively but God loops are structures where Survivors are 100% safe

Tbh I wonder if anyone is just not using it right now because legion is popular atm and healing against legion is usually a waste of time.
But overall I think people are overestimating the nerf, again, which is exactly what happened last time too.
Yeah, Legion changes probably affected CoH usage, along with the "weird" Perk description, where it sounds like it has the same speed as Self-Care
-
@Kira4Evr said:
They probably just don't want their whole team to Self-Care in corners
Placing CoH in a corner of the Map is possibly the best place to place it

Did you take into account setting up the boon? Wasting time to walk over a totem to bless it?
That time could be used on gens, its throwing the game vs high level killer, unless you are on comms with a team.
Self-Care takes 32 seconds flat
That's 40% of a Generator.
CoH takes 21.3 seconds + bless (which should never be in an area with Generators) takes 14 seconds (only once).
That's 44% of a Generator.
CoH also only needs to be brought by 1 Survivor and allows every Survivor to heal means you'll have overall more Generator time than with 4 Self-Cares
-
@Piruluk said:
Its a trash perk now, designed to help killers win the game.
You take ages to set it up and you heal slower with it than with self care.
Using this boon throwing the game
That's factually incorrect.
Self-Care takes 32 seconds.
CoH takes 21.3 seconds
-
@EntitySpawn said:
You mean DH turns into a perk survivors lose within the first few seconds? I like that!

Yeah... I have. Where are these 100% guaranteed safe zones. A good loop can be broken by killer so... not guaranteed safe.
Do you know how a good Killer plays like?
They never chase a good Survivors around a God loop/Pallet/Window (unless they're Nurse), which leads to them leaving chase, or what you call it: Survivors escaping 100% of the time
-
Never used it, but I do threaten my friends with it
-

then play the game, i never said the game has to be over, but if another teammate wants to leave he should be able to.
If 1 Survivor D/C's, then every other Survivor will D/C aswell.
This is easily abuseable by SWF and will only hurt SoloQ players that actually want to play the game, even if a Survivor D/C's
-
Yeah no, I would like to play full game even if a Survivors D/C's, as unfair a 3v1 is. I need the BP

@Icaurs said:

Really?
There are areas of a map where if I a survivor reach I will escape 100% of the time. What are they called? Can you give me an example?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2929825#Comment_2929825
If not every area of the map has anything to use then players are forced to use the shift w technique. Which is boring for both sides. Also killers do not improve as they did not beat the survivor, they just followed behind until the map killed them.
Play on The Game, Badham, Fractured Cowshed, any Crotus Penn Map, even New Haddonfield has a bunch of God loops
-
@Piruluk said:
Legion is auto loss of your team can't play well.
No other killer is that broken.
Legion just pushing m2 and he injures every survivor and knows their location almost all the time, on small maps he has map wide killer instincts. No counter to his aura read, no counter him injuring you.
You just hold m1 again and again and again and again and again, he is stacked with every slowdown imaginable.
He is way above Freddy and Wraith before nerf, he is the new king of free and easy wins, abuse him as long as you can
Every Killer can win against bad Survivors, it's not a Legion only issue.
If you're bad, just tell us so we know how "valid" whatever you post is
