And that's your way of disrespecting veterans who went through such a bad time? There were times where certain people didn't like World War veterans either and those who went through tours in Afghanistan. At the end of the day, they are still glorified and honored.

Fantastic work so far. I'm a little late, so people have already given you most of the advice you need. But I like your approach with this particular killer, especially the visual look of him, lore, and atmosphere of the chapter overall.

For licensed it would be cool to see Mr.X from RE2(yes, I find Mr.X scarier than Nemesis) after Project Resistance kinda dies down so the license would be available. Or even Chris Walker from Outlast.
Originals, I kinda like the idea of the Himalayan Yeti or an Egyptian mummy. Two very different climates I know lol

I'd also prefer it to be Anthony over than Helen simply because we've had several females in a row for chapters.
Chapters 11 - 15 (excluding GF) have all had females, it's about time we have another male.

Nah, we don't know. It could be either or, but I wouldn't rule out the original either. And a newer license isn't necessarily always easier to acquire. Especially to something unreleased that won't come out for months.
See, the thing with Quentin is we knew who he was for those who saw the NOES remake. His character was already established pretty well. We don't know jack about Anthony since the new movie hasn't come out and imagine if the new movie doesn't do too well. It might as well be a paragraph at that point.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Arnold Schwarzenegger even though I have a feeling he'll somehow someway be added in the future. Either through like a Terminator, Predator dlc or something like that. But anyway, he'd be cool even as himself.

Cool idea. I always said bring him in. If other games like AC Syndicate and Identity V can have Jack the Ripper and make so much success and positive feedback off it then DBD can do the same without a single doubt.

Negan from S7 as killer and Rick Grimes as survivor. You already know what Negan's mori would be if you watched the show and the infamous scene.

1-The Terminator T-800 that looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but as the game progresses his fire could melt off his skin exposing the T-800 endoskeleton. We need a soulless machine/android in the game.
2-I wanted to say Jack the Ripper, but I remembered he's unlicensed unless they take the one from Assassin's Creed Syndicate and make a deal with Ubisoft. The 1800s London map and atmosphere would be phenomenal. The survivor could be the male detective working on the Ripper case.
3-Jack Torrance as killer from The Shining. His wife, Wendy Torrance as a survivor and the Overlook Hotel as a map. Corridors, rooms, wide open lobby, maybe even the maze a little.
4-Xenomorph drone from Alien. Either Ellen Ripley or Amanda Ripley as a survivor idc. The USCSS Nostromo OR The Sevastopol (depending on which survivor they choose to add) as maps. The Xenomorph can possible get a lot of cool cosmetics based on different variants like the Deacon or the Protomorph, if you've seen all the Alien movies.
5-The Engineer from Alien Prometheus as a killer. Yes, I know another character from the Alien franchise, but those Engineers are scary when they're mad and....they hate humanity. Anyway, the survivor would be Elizabeth Shaw and the map would the the inside of the Engineer's 'Juggernaut' spaceship.
6-Pyramid Head/Red Pyramid from Silent Hill 2 with James Sunderland as a survivor. The Wood Side Apartments would be the map. PH's chase theme should be "Betrayal" theme from the game and his terror radius coming closer should give the scraping/dragging sound of his Great Sword.
7-Frank West as solo survivor. Shoutout to the dedicated person on Twitter ;)
8-A Candyman chapter based on the 1992 version. Candyman killer and a Cabrini Green map. But also Helen Lyle as a survivor. But the devs better do her looks justice unlike Laurie and Quentin. They gotta make Helen as pretty as she is in the movie. She would take the number one spot for prettiest survivor in the game probably.
9-Outlast 1 chapter with Chris Walker as the killer and Miles Upshur as the survivor. The map would be somewhere in the male ward of Mount Massive Asylum. Walker's chain sound could be implemented and his power could have something even more to do with the breakable walls we already have and BHVR are testing them even more. "LITTLE PIG"
10-Re-Animator DLC with Herbert West as a survivor and undead Dr.Carl Hill as a killer. The map would be one of the labs. (BIG PS: Jeffrey Combs(the man who played Herbert West) said something like he would be glad to negotiate with BHVR if they approached him first with an offer.)
Optionals-Pinhead(Hellraiser), Pennywise(I.T.) Jason(Friday the 13th) (when the lawsuit is settled), Supernatural chapter with Sam and Dean Winchester, B.J. Blazkowicz as a solo survivor(Wolfenstein game franchise) @Peanits

Just because no one gave backlash to Leatherface for what Tobe Hooper used for inspiration doesn't mean it's also not super disrespectful. Again, more double standards, my friend. Your opinion is fine, just because you don't want JTR in the game because of your feelings is okay. But others do, and other games have shown that it is 100% possible. There are living relatives of Ted Bundy and Gacey's victim's, not Jack. You can back out of the argument, just know that JTR can be added.

So it's okay to profit from real life inspiration that so many horror media creators have used as well? Pretty much just as bad to use inspiration from any real event for your own personal use and profit because it's "disrespectful to the victims." That's what we call double standards and you'll never sell me on that as it's pretty much the same concept.
Anyone other than Jack the Ripper being added would have backlash, yes. But as I said, do me a favor and check how the Assassin's Creed and Identity V communities and consumers were like when JTR was introduced as a playable character. People liked the character and enjoyed playing as him for the most part. The same thing would happen in DBD, my friend.

You can say the same thing about using inspiration as well (i.e. Leatherface). That's your opinion, but the fact is that those games have proven Jack the Ripper can be added 100%. While you may not want him, many others like myself do, he's an English gentleman with a very intimidating and mysterious aura around him. You can't really glorify the actual person behind the Ripper persona because no one figured out who he was. Btw the families of the canonical 5 Ripper victims either don't exist or are unaware that they are related today.

And there is a way to do something that won't even need that much blood and gore to make it scary again. What we need is a Jack the Ripper chapter. Hearing loud footsteps throughout the game as Jack the Ripper hunts you down would be amazing,
If he was a playable character in games such as AC Syndicate and even Identity V(which your dev team helped ). People absolutely loved him in both games and the response was from their communities were pretty positive. If Ubisoft and Netease did it. you guys can too. Us fans will love BHVR more than we already do :)

You are wrong. Tobe Hooper, the main creator of the TCM movies outright said in an interview that Ed Gein did indeed gives some inspiration for his character, Leatherface.

Of course Jason, Leatherface, Freddy etc would be remembered by the weapons that are so synonymous and iconic to what they used in the movies. The Terminator and guns are not anywhere near that correlatable. Let me ask you, before any of the other Terminator movies before the first one were made, what did people think of when they saw the T-800 endoskeleton? They remembered the most iconic chase scene of Sarah and Kyle at the end because that is the first thing that came to mind. They thought of a Terminator lumbering towards them, not just using his UZI from a distance and ruining the suspense. In fact, from what I remember, people didn't even think of the endoskeleton opening scene with a plasma rifle, just the ending. Why you would ever compare the weapons that have become "one" with the iconic villain they are wielded by in a slasher genre to a sci-fi android with a whole arsenal and methods of eliminating his victims, which he gladly takes advantage of unlike your examples?
You compare characters from a slasher genre who almost always have one or two weapons that that they're known by throughout the whole series to a character that uses multiple methods of killing. Using so much more VARIETY unlike Jason and the others.
I understand fully what a strawman argument is, thank you very much. And you provided a perfect example of that. You go ahead and try to refute my argument by exaggerating and using synonymous weapons of slasher characters of little to no relevance to the Terminator and why he MUST use his guns and therefore cannot be in DBD. But unfortunately, your inflated ego wouldn't allow you to realize it.

Some people haven't watched Terminator 1, where he looked like Arnold AND didn't use a gun at some points in the movie. A Terminator chapter based around the first film would be great.

The thing with Trager is that all he had were a few minutes of cutscenes, a 20 minute hide/seek/chase, and then boom HE'S DEAD. Gone, never to be heard from again.
My point is Trager had a great moment in the game and that was all. He didn't feel iconic unlike The Walrider or Chris Walker(who had been a pain to deal with since the beginning of the Outlast game all the way until the end). You only had a brief encounter with Trager before the elevator killed him.
It should be Chris Walker 100%. That "little pig" is iconic when it comes to the outlast franchise.

I think it would be cool personally. He'd need to have his connection to the force slightly severed to make him a bit balanced in the Entity's realm (which they can easily explain). And who would the survivor be? Maybe Leia or Padme(since Vader wanted to get over his past) and they weren't force sensitive so they can't be op or fight the killers.

Yeah the first film was horror in the eyes of many, he's DBD material. I feel like his power will have something to do with scanning. But I made up an ability a while ago:
As the game progresses and 2 gens are done, Arnold will light a ring of fire around him which rises up and engulfs him in flames. The fire dies down and the T-800 Endoskeleton emerges with the DUN-DUN--DUN--DUN-DUN Terminator intro. In the endoskeleton mode, I would imagine he'd be much faster, have a lot of buffs, and have a cool power. Haven't thought about the power and abilities.

The Xenomorph or the Terminator T-800 from the first movie. I think he will fit in perfectly and it will bring someone new to the table of our killers, an actual machine/android that will not stop until you have been terminated. Reprogrammed by the Entity.

I don't think the next killer will be licensed. So i will say that Jack the Ripper would be fantastic and scary in DBD. With a cool looking Victorian map with alleyways and stuff.
After that, if they were to do a licensed character, I'd love the Terminator T-800, Jack Torrance from the Shining, and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2.

While I prefer the original as everyone else, I won't take away the fact that Jackie Earle Haley can do an insanely dark version of Freddy very well. He is an underrated actor, but sadly when it comes to the 2010 NOES movie, he got screwed over by a garbo script and bad creative writing decisions. Not to mention, they didn't do too good of a job with Freddy's design and skin.

Definitely a Jack the Ripper chapter. Unlicensed, and the Victorian map would be amazing
