so getting a free down is a joke? or passive slowdown for tape jogging?
Sadako is pretty weak, she needs a few buffs

Run no mither, then they're forced to hook you, especially if you're running soul guard too, its even funnier with tenacity and unbreakable

I hope they go with classic dante, as i hate zoomer dante

It still has the drop effect, so its a damn sight stronger than it was

ANOES would be the dream - god, ANOES is such an untapped resource in Dead By Daylight and it lowkey breaks my heart - but the license holders have historically been pretty difficult to work with. And we'd need Stranger Things back before anything new happened with them.
Mostly, I don't think there's a lot of big horror franchises out there where there'd be good grounds for a second killer? Skins for the original one, definitely. And new survivors, sure - but there's a lot more supporting cast than there are iconic monsters.
I also question just how many unique killer powers BHVR can create before they run out of ideas. A lot of recent killers operate on 'very similar power to another killer, gives you a special status effect that does something semi-unique.' We haven't gotten something entirely original in a while. So I don't know. I'm not complaining about the double dipping, but I'd rather see new licenses than doubling down on old ones. RE is almost a special case because of how many potential different games, protagonists, and villains they can pick from, all of whom hold relatively equal weight within the franchise. Like... Silent Hill had a smorgasbord of survivors they could have chosen, but there was no question the killer would be Pyramid Head, you know? RE had a ton of valid choices for who the killer would be, to the point where it was all anyone was speculating about a year ago.
There's one other franchise we have in DBD that I feel meets that description. A SAW redux could be really cool, and the license holders do seem open to fresh collaborations. But again, I feel like getting someone like Hoffman as a killer would work better as a legendary skin for Pig than an entirely new killer with new mechanics. Tooons of survivors to pick from, though.
I would always and unquestioningly be 100% down for any new licensed maps, though. Haddonfield aside, all of the licensed maps we have are visually stunning and chock full of goodies for fans of the series. Balanced? Ehhhh... but undoubtedly really cool. I'd love to see more locations from beloved horror IPs explored in DBD.
Dredge's power is pretty original

Maybe people should stop camping pallets

If the killer manages to drop you off a ledge when you have boil over then they deserve to get the hook
-
Demo is stronger than you think, especially since he has an actual anti loop power
-
Terrible idea imo, i personally think they should give a shard multiplier for every devotion you have, like 15% per devotion
-
Let the killer pet him too
-
There's only one kind of tunnelling, which is going after someone until they're dead, anything else is just being opportunistic

I'd be fine with bbq getting changed, as long as the bonus bp is basekit

#memeperkmeta

I think traps starting set plus the ability to recall traps is enough for trapper, he doesn't need much more in terms of buffs, simply because he became thicc af in the dating sim

Tbh I'd confuse nemesis with other survivors before i mix up blight and dredge

If its optional then no worries

BBQ being looked into is so strange.
I HOPE its because they're making both wglf and bbq's bp bonus basekit, and instead giving those perks new effects

Dredge can use devour and make your choice extremely well

The community has been asking for certain things for years and years now.
The response has always been nil - but whenever we do get something from the developers, it is along the lines of "We're working hard, and sometimes we just don't have the time or resources to accomplish everything that we want" or "We're putting this project on hold because it's expensive and it isn't part of our business model" more or less.
Not saying they're greedy - because they're not - it's just a major factor in production.
It's just another questionable step that can be lauded by some, and perceived as insult to injury by others.
We ask for a seasonal game mode - nope. Here's some graphic updates.
We ask for basic perk balance - nope. Here's some new animations.
We ask for a game health update - nope. Here's a new Rift full of mostly garbage.
-well at least they're working on the game-
We ask for major fixes to MMR and the Boon system - nope. We coordinated with another studio to make a game.
How good or bad Hooked On You will be remains to be seen - I hope it's good, my wife is a huge fan of both DbD and Monster Prom so she might like it.
But there's no denying that this was a very poor time to announce it.
The community should feel very happy and overjoyed to see such a game come out - a little DbD spinoff - but a lot of community members sound like they're confused if not upset by the direction.
It's just a bad time to release it, and I have absolutely no context of what the executives were thinking when they pulled the trigger on the project, but I hope it pans out. It just cannot help but being a bit of a misleading factor in its own existence.
It's almost like...
We desperately need good direction and are crying out for attention from the devs.
And they spend their effort and money on a joke product.
No matter how funny or good that joke might be, deep down inside - it feels a bit rough.
They're working on nuking the meta, alongside making prestiging characters actually worthwhile, id say its fair for them to announce something fun

I've seen several complaints of people using twins to bodyblock room entrances so no one can unhook the person inside, having them die on first hook.
A killer shouldn't be able to do that either. Bodyblocking is a two way street
Charlotte can be moved through after enough time has passed

Sigh.
Hi here again, Mileena.
Let's take a look.
- CoH is still an absolute top tier perk. 'Useless' isn't just hyperbole, it's flat out wrong. It's just not quite as busted as it used to be.
- DS, before the change was ridiculous. It was basically an extra life.
- Dead Hard needs to go. The simple fact that this one perk almost single handedly dictates the meta from intermediate MMRs and up is an indication that it's a problem.
- Plenty of killer perks are getting nerfed too, including most of the better regression perks.
- Hug Tech isn't easy to execute or fix, as it has to do with the inner workings of the physics engine.
- Bleeding out is frustrating, but it will also be fixed in the patch (the game instantly ends once the last survivor is slugged). Plus, this isn't an imbalance as much as a BM.
- Yes, Ring needs a nerf. Patience, young padawan.
- They've already said that they are going to be fixing facecamping. What more do you want?
- NOED is likely getting a nerf in the perk overhaul.
- They are aware of tunnelling feeling nasty to go against, but what do you suggest? Make it so the killer has to hook survivors sequentially? I know that I almost never tunnel on purpose, but far too often I'll just end up finding that one overconfident or caseless survivor multiple times in a row.
I'm gonna laugh if they actually make noed stronger somehow
-
Time for pain, i have most killers at p2 or higher

Alright, be the most excited about a single perk nerf, instead of a proper health patch or worthy new content.
Some people in this forum, I swear lol
That single perk nerf will probably be the best health change this game has ever had

Because bodyblocking exists I really think it's important when you play killer to only play a killer who either:
- Can teleport through people (Nurse not Ringo)
- Has instant downs all the time (not Ghostface)
- Can easily keep 8 stacks of STBFL (Nemesis, Demo, Pig - but dont try Pig unless you are CMWinter).
Generally speaking the game would be better if there were no bodyblocking at all. It encourages cheap plays (killer pins you in place for free hit or instant down) or survivors force you to attack them by blocking paths.
I main pig, but don't use stbfl, I'll probably try it
-
Killers should be able to just push past survivors

I think a lot of us could band together in the BP component of BBQ and we're going to live forever being basekit.
Or, even better, make them basekit, but still keep them as perks, so that we get EVEN MORE bp

Tbh i think that's fair

Id prefer it if you only got the speed boost when healthy

They nerfed coh, they will nerf dh, I would bet in unbreakable or prove thyself being the next victims.
People talk about SB too much, but I believe Overcome will get more complains.
"I hit the survivor and he disappears, it's not fair, he doesn't have to do anything besides hold shift+w", by the time I find him, he already healed with his green medkit".
Tbh the only nerf i think prove thyself needs is to not work with toolboxes

Pig. She's been long overdue for a buff/rework and she needs some love. Second place would go to Twins since they've been garbage since release and have been severely nerfed to the point where their power feels clunky, slow, and unfun to use.
Id love it if there was a thing that happens when a survivor boops

I don't want to nerf dead hard
I want to delete it

Blindness should hide the red stain

Do you tunnel a flashbang user?

I genuinely don't understand complaints about decisive at this point
It does it's job and you really only get hit by it if you are tunnelling or are in endgame situations
I've been hit by it 3 times in the span of 15s

I'd love a month of no dead hard, just so the "good" players have to play without their crutch just to see how good they really are

Then don't play solo

If you can't catch someone because you are bad so you just gonna run a round a loop for couple seconds does that sound fair to you.
Chases are the most fun thing in Dbd
See that's the thing, not every map is balanced, so its a needed mechanic, if the devs actually fix map balance then maybe they can remove it
-
Survivors aren't meant to run the killer forever

Not with that much Slowdown-Perks in the game.
If you can remove 32 seconds of Progress with a single Hook (Pain Resonance + PGTW), you can afford way longer chases. I am using Slowdown-Perks since a few days (did not run them for years), and the game feels so easy now, it is insane.
@Topic:
Oh, cool, a Dead Hard-Thread! Finally someone opens it.
But I hope that Killers realize that if DH gets nerfed and if it is really true that Survivors only survive that long because of DH, that other things on the Killers Side basically have to be nuked if that is really the case. Like Bloodlust and Slowdown-Perks. Because if the Chasetime really is reduced that much due to DH (I doubt it), other things need to be rebalanced. But if this is the case, I already know that the "The Devs only cater to Survivors"-people will come out.
And I really hope that nobody complains about Sprint Burst once DH is nerfed and the good Survivors (who are the only ones where DH is really problematic, bad Survivors with DH are no problem) switched to Sprint Burst and showing the Killers that it is actually even stronger than DH and even more unfun to go against.
It takes more skill to use sprint burst properly than to just press E
And as a enjoyer of mindbreaker and trapper i don't worry about sprint burst users as much

Bloodlust has NOTHING to do with Dead Hard. It is not a stupid mechanic. It is designed to end a chase in favor of the "1" in this "1v4" game. Survivors are not meant to run a Killer for 5 gens.
Not to mention if you get a Killer to Bloodlust 3 you have wasted so much of his time gens should be popped for that mistake.
Bloodlust does not "reward" anything. It is not a perk. Dead Hard is a perk. Bloodlust is a game mechanic, like the endgame collapse or the hatch.
Bloodlust is also far more fair than dead hard
