Well, I think also that crossplay is a great thing. Also the dc penalty. I even think that it is good that they produce more content, because otherwise this game would die imo.
Where I would like to see better, or faster work is by the balance and bugs part. By balance changes it often feels so, as would have been 1 side totally ignored (and it takes then very long to get listen by the devs if you are on the wrong side of the table) and bugs... Comon which player would not wish that they all already have gone away yesterday? :)
Even that is pretty unrealistic, I know.
-
I am not the greatest fan, the devs can have on this board, but I would wish we would be able to talk from player to dev more here in those forums.
So please devs, talk with us more than as the usual ammount of messages.
I know that is not really the topic of this thread, but I had thought it would be a good idea to throw it in here.

Sorry what? Are you joking? Not all countries have proper laws for this and how long would it take to create a law for distrupting a game? Besides, my countries courts are already overloaded with others serious crimes. I rather have my judges sending real gang criminals to prison rather than someone ending a game on the internet.
That was because I said "some" countrys. Not every country. Far as I know, in south korea have already guys exactly for this reason visit the jail. Don't know for how long that said.
In the western world it has sometimes come to it, but far as I have read it on the newspages, the companies and lawyers have less done it with "a gamer got disconnected" and more with "there was a ddos attack" as example and a ddos attack... Well that can be hard stuff for the court.
If you don't believe me, then search with google. I bet you will find some newspages with informations about it.
Basically, if you doing ddos attacks, or if you are the coder of 1 of the exploit-tools, you shouldn't be living in the western world or south corea, otherwise, it can take a very bad turn for you^^.

The penalty is good and should stay in place.
For hackers are bans and in some countrys courts responsible.

Spirit. No counter. IW is countered by Stridor. Every game is the same. Hook. BBQ to closest target and/or proxy camp hook. You can't evade an invisible killer coming at twice your speed. Totally broken. Devs don't give a #########.
Pyramid Head. Broken AF. The ranged attack is too fng strong. tight spaces, through walls, corners... just pull out the ranged attack. Camp hooks and get 2 for 1. Nurses on Pyramid Head and increased range addons may be the strongest combo in the game. Broken af. Devs don't give a #########.
Doctor. In this case, just retire the fng doctor. It's not that he's too strong. It's that he is hands down the most annoying, unfun killer in the game. Look at your data. I guarantee more quits against doctor in early game than any other killer. You just scream all game because of static blast. Any sort of stealth is worthless. And good docs also ruin the only counterplay we have by shocking you so you cant throw pallets or vault or heal others. Half the time you face the meme build of an indoor map with distressing / huntress / overcharge / unnerving presence. How is this in any way fun for survivors? WORST KILLER IN THE GAME. RETIRE HIM.
I personally think that the devs are seeing how far they can go in screwing survivors since they want to push people to play killer. Soloing is a garbage experience since matchmaking will forever suck and you have at least a 50% chance of getting bad or quitting teammates. Solo against one of the killers above and how much fng fun do you think that is? The only reason survivors are tolerating this situation is because DBD is the only serious asymmetrical game in town. But I, and many many others will jump ship SO FAST when there is a decent alternative that doesn't have 1000 glitches, favor one side, and charge $10 for a gd skin.
I get the feeling you will never find a alternative, even if dbd clones would pop out daily like battle royal clones today.
You seem to be very biased and as a result, the games that would catch you, would either never be released or just die a month later.

This isent about otz I have always had this opinion just never seen it reciprocated Legion is the only killer ive bothered to prestige 3 times because of how fun and strong i genuinely think he is.
Ah prestiging up... This fault I have also made 1 time. Could still slap me in the face for that.
The point is just, that you have talk about things, that could be added to every killer and that such a video was part of a discussion before.
I think also, that the Legion is today... Well.. it is complicated...
How would you call something, that is only made "better" because the playstyle of said character got aligned with that of other killers before?
Would we call this really better? I call it boring. Mhm that's a thought question for me.
-
Everybody who rates Kate as boring is on my list and 1 day there will be vengeance *gets firing eyes in his yellow ninja costume*.
-
facepalm 1 streamer made a video about it and now those threads come up.
Whats next? Nerf-Clown threads if someone makes a 50matches video? Just a reminder: This guys are not like the casual player you met in 99%+ of your games.
Edit: But to come to your points:
1- Every killer can get easy first hits. Its nothing special. Not even worth to mention, if you don't want to be hypocritical.
2- Slowdown Perks work with every killer.
3- Not everybody likes to run BBQ. But nice that something got picked up, even if not everyone is using it. Btw. it is imo stupid to use frenzy as travel abilitie because of the 5.000 years stun after it. Better you hold it ready for the rar situations, you need it.
4- With a big tr. There are even smaller killers in the game. I can just shake my head.

Wow, I watched some of the vod from his stream yesterday and I must say, at this point he is a total salt factory.
Like, I literally cannot believe that four thousand people are sitting there watching him get irrationally salty and angry when he is the one making constant mistakes in the games he loses. He's setting a really ######### example for the community.
Like no joke, he ######### up at loops ten times, doesn't prioritize correctly, places down bad traps that never come into play, and then at the scorescreen after losing he's like, "yup, DS, DS, DS, unbreakable, unbreakable". Like, over half of those ds/ub combos didn't even activate but he's soooo quick to point his finger at the perks like they are his sole reason for losing bahaha.
Kind of reminds me of certain people on these forums ;-)
Those survivors weren't even special btw, just your average red/purple rank solo queues. Makes it even funnier.
Well, that I can understand, because those perks symbolize a bigger problem that grows inside dbd.
And this problem is best to describe with a question: "Why are survivors allowed and even encouraged to do mistakes, while a killer has always to play perfectly?"
I don't know how to solve the problem that stays behind this question, but this mindset is really a pain in the a... in the dbd communities.
-
DW feels hollow, in my opinion.
It is just a power that is powerless, because it can be easily removed. In exchange, it is used as a powerful argument against any positive changes.
With that in mind, I would be ok if it would be removed.

So Otzdarva got 50 wins in a row with the only conditions for winning be that he kills 3 people. The last person escaping through hatch doesn't matter. For consistency he isn't using any add-ons.
I know Otz has a ridiculous number of hours in the game. But if the guy can get 50 wins in a row with Legion of all people, against all sorts of survivors. SWF, Strong Items, the full array of Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Dead Hard, etc.
Maybe...just maybe killers are stronger than a lot of killer mains lead you to believe. I've heard the excuses of well those survivors were just potatoes, but Otz did like 100 games. I think just maybe...people need to stop blaming the game's balance so much when they lose the occasional game as killer. Because clearly at high levels, a killer can wreck if the person playing the killer is good. I think the biggest issue isn't really that the killer is just that much weaker than survivors. It's that the killer takes a lot more time to git gud than survivor.
And how many casual player do you think will win 50 matches with Hag and Legion?
I would even be surprised if the standard-casual player wins 10 matches in a row.
As normal players we can learn from guys like him, but we shouldn't take those guys as example. At least not until we plan to radical change our lives and becoming a streamer ourselves.
Also, as long not some killers make fun again, I do not really care if the killrate for every killer sticks by 10% or even 99%. As long the funrate is down to -100% it is at least for me only a minor detail.
-
I think the most problem former Legion mains have with the Legion today is not the question if he is weak or not - as Legion main you are used to play a weaker killer anyways.
It is the question if you have fun, or not and to compare a default m1 killer with a adrenaline rushing killer Legion was before... There can the current version just lose.
It's like comparing a vw beetle with a ferrari. I bet the former ferrari driver will always think back on his ferarri, even if he is forced to drive a vw beetle, for whatever reason.
But what the topic matters - I had not try to say that the Legion is weak. Just a bit boring since the rework patch.

Good and necessary? For a game that is so casual it borders on being a party game?
It is even for casual players no fun to have in every game dcs. An ideal match has no dcs at all.
A dc penalty helps to achieve this goal on two ways:
-First it gives potential dc people a reason to think about if they really should do it.
-Second it makes it easier for people that not dc to find a match, because the dcing people enjoy their bantimes while the not dcing people can faster join matches.
That is in my eyes a win-win situation.
-
I see the killer today as a m1 killer like the trapper, just without traps.
I only use frenzy, if I am against stealth teams, or 1 survivor is being very stealthy. Dw is just in my eyes too weak, for being usefull and frenzy is not anymore a "travel abilitie" with that mega-stun at the end.
The rest is m1 mindgames... The usual, you can also have with most of the other killers. That is on one side boring, on the other side it is easy to adapt to the Legion's today playstyle, since you have learn him already with other killers.
-
The dc penalty is good and necessary. Every guy who dcs while a match is running proves that the dc penalty is necessary.
That said, if hackers can do that, bhvr should do something so that they can't do it anymore. Besides the obvious technical aspect of it, bhvr could maybe think to put a law suit on them. They wouldn't be the first gaming companie who did that.
-
Why they shouldn't?
Everybody who sees David knows - the right place for him is on a hook. Best on one where he never can die and can't free himself from. For a endless time of torture and pain.
He is just too cocky :P.
In need, a mori is also ok for him.

For them it's enough if you just stay a second too long at the hook to call you a camper and rightful t-bag you at the gates. Some even wait there until you come to show their dominance.
Things like that are a bit stupid and childish imo... I mean, if a survivor is at the gates and does that, he moves out of the match usually. Aka. he knows he won't have a chance if he would act differently. On this way he shows without words the natural order that he is not the end of the food chain^^.

While alot of you said is true about posts asking for nerfs for killers. The killer side dominates this forum. If its survivor favored killers will hate it well some. There are killers calling survivor side hit validation a nerf!
But it's fine it's fine for killers to be vocal but what isnt fine is when survivor ideas are shut down for being a survivor idea. The legion rework was needed not to kill him like rn. Legion was unhealthy for survivors and the game as a whole. I digress, the point of this post was simply to remark at the fact that once again killer players are running faster than Usain bolt to any post that helps survivors.
If we would live in a perfect world, survivors like killers would be able to voice their opinion and the people would read it with common sense in mind. Would talk sober about the topics that come up here and so on, without attacking each other in any form.
But we live not in such a world.
My wake up call had come with the rework and show me how the things really work and similar experiences have many survivor and killer mains made since then and I bet even before.
The only thing that would break the devils circle, would be if everyone from now on would start to talk about such things serious without insults, that bhvr would listen to the side that want to have nerfs and to the side that want to have no, or a different kind of nerfs (something that they didn't usually) and the people stop running like braindead sheeps after the opinion of some streamers that only cry about certain characters and abilities to get more clicks on their streams.
Non of that will ever happen and because of it, you will see killer mains that storm survivor helping threads, as I as example have seen survivor mains storming into Legion threads and argue about what were not even possible.
It is sad that it is so, but it lays not in our hands to change that.

Ok so alot of you have been seeing my posts about slinger and they seem repetitive and it's a question of why do I keep making them? I'm done making them but the I got my take away.
This forum like I've said in the past is populated with a lot of people who favor killer. While I see nothing wrong with this it makes making posts that seem more in favor of survivors difficult because you have alot of people who disagree.
This is also fine but it's too many people to argue with at the same time. But I digress. My key take away is that If it's anything that is in favor of survivor expect the killers to come in and tell you how wrong you are.
If you disagree and tell me its fake both sides are on the forums link me a post where there are alot of survivor mains disagreeing with a killer and not dumb posts.
Well, then you are maybe surprised that I like to read you, even if we have often different opinions.
What your topic matters, so I think that the survivor presence is still strong in this forum. Survivor supporting postings getting most of the time more upvotes as killer supporting postings.
Also we still see many nerf threads about killers in this forum. I would say that they even dominate.
I mean just look a few days back... We had and have still threads about deathslinger, noed, moris sometimes, spirit and even 2 huntress nerf threads (or was it just 1? believe it was two).
What my personal opinion to that matter is, is that killers need to be vocal.
If we don't nobody listens to us and bhvr does then with us what the survivors want.
This is not exaggerating, even if you think so.
The Legion rework had teach me how the interaction between killers, survivors and bhvr runs and we killers need everything to do what we can, to safe the killer playerbase for a crime like the Legion rework again.
I know that parts of the survivor playerbase have enjoy this to see that rework happen, but it was for me a devastating experience. I had believe in common sense, just to see this then happen.
As long as I have a voice and as I am interested in dbd, I will try my best to prevent other killers being handled as my favorite killer.
I enjoy talking with survivors, but this event has teach me how dangerous it can be to leave the stage to them alone, because the guys in the forums have just their own interests in mind and do not care how killers feel with it imo.
-
Even with a small team, they doing well I think. I just think, that they are sometimes are misleaded and because of it, I would wish that they would have some sort of "Overseer", that tells them to do the things on the right way, or not at all.
If I think on some things, there was already more balancing as ever needed. Some would say too much and that with just 2 guys -_-.
-
It is nothing wrong on it, to learn from streamers. They have much more experience usually as the casual gamer.
I have as example learn many things from Monto's how to videos and at least in parts it had bring me 1 time too the red ranks (well and having enough time and patience for it).
But nobody should make the error and just agree on everything they say. Think critical. If that is true what they saying, if they maybe saying it to push out their own agenda etc.
It is always bad if you just hang around with people that agree with you, because then you will never grow up mentaly.
I am as example, a 100% killer main, but even I have often talk with survivors about their thoughts.
Why should I not? That had make out me a better killer (if I think on killrates), less raging about survivors, I understand them better and many I could also told my point of view as killer. Things like this are a win-win-win-win situation.
I like such situations.
That are just my 2 cents to it :).

You admit that stealth is boring for both sides and yet you're trying to defend killers that have severely limited chase counterplay, forcing you to stealth? Isn't that a bit dense?
I like stealth (as survivor, as killer it can be to pressures if you facing a stealth 4x team that pops gens on the same time to your left and right).
-
I think as Meyers is it ok, since he is not a strong killer anways (not like spirit or so).
Still I can also understand the survivors. While they are slugged, they can not much do, besides watching an YouTube video or so.
I would not do it, but I understand why some killers tend to do it.

@BloodyNights said:
So I kind of stopped playing on PC for around a year or two, and simply played on PS4. Mostly because I was having graphic and frame rate issues and wasn't sure how to fix it. I recently managed to fix it (Go Me~) But here is my experience playing as both Killer and Survivor at rank 20-15.
Survivor - Everyone is crouch walking...Let's run in front of their face and hop on a gen. They are still crouch walking or just regular walking to the gen I'm already working on. I guess that's fine let's just knock this out! The gen explodes...okay then. I'll wait for the killer and take chase...killer refuses to chase me and chases the other person who goes down in two seconds somehow. Killer camps them or tunnels them until death. Rince and Repeat until it's a hatch match, because gens don't get done. When I finally get in a chase...it lasts for 4 minutes or so, no gens get done, and when I get on the hook the killer actually doesn't tend camp me/tunnel me much. But I don't get saved until at least second state, because the other survivors are crouching in a corner somewhere. Luckily I've pipped every game regardless of winning or losing...but it's a pretty horrible experience.
Killer - These survivors...run in a straight line as soon as they get chased....and any stealth killer I play I pretty much can just grab them off the gen because they don't look around. Against Myers they tea bag when I stand there and look at them instantly giving me Tier 2-3. I now know why the survivors go down in two seconds. Some survivors also like to crouch behind something after they break line of sight for half a second not realizing that they make noise hurt, or that their scratch marks lead me right to them. The survivors also tend to go to second state often despite not camping them or being close to the hook at all. And others kill themselves quite early. This doesn't happen as often when I'm playing survivor. Maybe because I'm quick to go for the save if I can.
I'm enjoying the smooth frame rate. But man these first 10-20 games are rough experiences. Killer side being way too easy, and survivor side being a slaughter fest. @~@
So it was always in parts. It changes later in the opposite for both sides.
-
Their diet has failed.
-
All the survivor mains that argue, that they would only write nerf threads about unfun killers in this forums like allegedly deathslinger and spirit, while they claim, that no one would ever write nerf threads about fun killers like Huntress....
...
Well...
Here is your counter-evidence :).
Survivor mains complain about everything. But it is ok, you have for sure also a excuse for that already ready...
This is so... predictable... and... boring and also dishonest.
Well have fun with your nerf thread survivor mains^^. Don't like to distract you guys while you are in the anger mode.

I mean, I don't play Overwatch nearly as much anymore because of that same crap. If a Top Streamers whines, or the OWL whines, things get changed. It's made the base game for many of us just unfun anymore.
I'm fairly certain I'll hit that point with DbD for the same reason, and stop playing it, too.
Well that is then another reason to play it not.
For my part was Blizzard one of the few good companies in this industry.
I have play Blizzard games from Warcraft 1: Orcs and Humans (or whas it Humans and Orcs? - don't know it anymore) to countless years in World of Warcraft, but I can't stay that Kotick guy anymore. He makes me vomit. So I have let Blizzard go and at the moment I prefer more 4x games and games I can mod and I wait for Cyberpunk 2077 like the most other people I know :).
What dbd matters, so makes me the influence of the streamers sick.
Either the devs do directly what they say, or they sent their audiences and those guys follow like brainless sheeps.
Wish bhvr would look more at the people that just play the game.
-
3 escaped... And where is exactly the problem? Or is this the problem? I am confused :|.
Edit: With even more bps on the survivor side, besides the one that got facecamped.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
Deathslinger has a bit the same problem as the nurse
A strong chase that when played perfectly is very opressive
People often forget though that nobody can play perfectly
Just look at the replies you get when you suggest counterplay to deathslinger "that only works on deathslingers that are bad and miss"
I hope slinger doesn't end up like the nurse who is supposedly "the strongest killer in the game" but you never see her
This posting would deserve more upvotes.
But it goes also vice versa. So many survivor mains talking always, as would they only face pro killers and forget about, or ignore the beginner and casual killers (that are majority).
Also, having oppressive situations is something, some players on each side of the table are longing for.
Especially to that topic, I had often talk with survivors in rl and the endgame chat (in the past) and the most had enjoy intense chases. Those are not to get if you have a killer behind you, that can't really put pressure on you (like a huntress that never use her hatches, or a nurse that never teleports = as extrem example).
-
I do it 1 time, if I find a survivor toxic. As a warning sign.
If he ignores this warning sign, he will be facecamped to death, the next time I get him.
Before now every survivor main explodes on his chair for anger (hm a funny thought actually...), it had only happen 2-3 times for now in a year or more of playing dbd -_-.

Tbh i think buff and nerf should happen more often like on a weekly basis. Only because survivor have the same meta for 2 year now and every new perk they release get use at the start but after a week or 2 they go back to their old build its the same for killer for a couple month now its bbq and pgtw the other 2 perk are what the killer prefer because all the other perk suck but with a weekly buff and nerf the meta could change every week and the game will be less stale
Survivors have the same metas since a eternity, because the majority of the survivor playerbase is like the majority of the killerbase - aka. always sticking on the things that a "considered as strong".
If bhvr would give survivors new perks, that have better benefitis in different situations, or they would implement new objectives for matches on their maps, we would maybe also see finally other survivor perks, as always the same.

@Xbob42 said:
No one wants Deathslinger "nerfed" because he's not a strong killer to begin with. They want more ways to actually interact with Deathslinger outside of he holds M2 for .2 seconds and he's either good, so he'll hit you 99% of the time, or he sucks so you might get the occasional miss. Outside of throwing pallets early there's not much actual gameplay for the survivors when Deathslinger is around, and there's barely any for the Deathslinger since it's so easy to aim and shoot.
I've been saying he should be able to shoot walls and other objects and basically grappling hook himself around the maps. That'd be WAY cooler and make him mobile.
That would only force him to be more of a m1 killer as already before.
Why, as example, no survivor asks if survivors could not get in general a special "dodge" abilitie against him? So that they can jump 1-2 steps to the left or right, if they press a key.*
Sure they need then to guess when he shoots, but it would buff survivors and let the deathslinger players their beloved playstyle.
Edit: *But this abilitie should have a cd if I think about it. Otherwise I see already yet how survivors would spam this abilitie.

Apparently, Scott Jund made a video about Deathslinger, so now the Cult of Streaming has pitchforks out. And then it spreads like a virus.
That is maybe the reason, but it changes nothing on the core problem.
For everybody is something annoying in this game and if dbd always gets changed just because a streamer crys, or some people on the forums, the game getting more boring for everyone.
Not only for the streamer and/or the guys on the social media plattforms - it starts to get also more boring for the people that usually not show up in the forums, aka. the majority of the playerbase, since the most people just play a game and are not part of their social plattforms imo.
But I think, you thinking there the same.
It is on one hand just sad to see how the community dismembers itself and you watching how the things got cutted away, you like (in my case not deathslinger - but that doesn't matter in the great scheme of things).

Bold of you to assume we haven't been saying to nerf Deathslinger and Spirit for ages and the devs didn't just decide to nerf Billy out of nowhere. Nobody complained about Billy. Everybody complained and still complains about Slinger and Spirit.
You're just noticing them now.
Huntress is strong, people complain about her when they get hit around 3 walls because of the servers. Not about her at all.
Nurse is unbelievably strong, but she at least still feels semi-fair.
Billy is still strong and is still fair.
Hag is ######### broken in the right hands yet nobody complains about her either.
If we all wanted easy games, why wouldn't we still be coming for Nurse and Billy, as well as going for Hag and Huntress too? Why is it Spirit and Deathslinger, especially when Slinger isn't even regarded as that good because he lacks in map pressure?
I have on this forum read enough billy nerf threads, before his nerf.
I have even read on this forum clown nerf threads to the pre-buff clown.
Honestly, I don't think there is a killer in dbd, where someone has not already write a nerf thread too.
What you say are excuses why you act how you act. More for yourself, as for the people you talk with.
The problem is, everybody has those excuses, just with a other thing in his mind. One guy thinks maybe on Meyers right now, a other on sprint burst and so on.
If we follow this road, we can only lose as players, because if everything gets nerfed what annoys someone, -nothing will be left of dbd.
Things like that as example, yeah. Not everyone, but many people tend to play the characters/perks that are known as "strong" and so the world of dbd goes more smaller with every nerf-patch.
-
Well, guess I would have the perks:
-Clumsy
Random things can fall between you, or the killers legs, like branches, stones and so on. If something falls between you or the killers legs, you or the killer is stunned for 5 seconds.
-Easily distracted
If the killer hunts you, the aura of the survivor next to you got exposed to the killer for the time he chases you. (imagine the funny and happy endgame chats between survivors after they discovered that you as their mate wear this perk! :D)
-Chaotic
The maximum are 3 charges and it loads while you get chased. Every charge triggers randomly. After a charge gots activated, the killer sees footsteps in every direction for 5 seconds.
I need to admit, those would not be the best perks, but I would love to play a match with them :D.
Edit: I said a match! After that match I would love to burn those perks^^.

Some entitled kiddos, that try to annoy you.

It's hard to say exactly who'd win. If the killer is good enough he should beat the 4 solo players. It's tougher against a 4 swf since if they have over 2000 hours each (like most really good swfs have) it'll be tough but not impossible. The thing is swf is literally the only challenge most killers have unless they get a terrible map or play a meme build.
I'd say right now is definitely the most balanced the game has ever been.
Depending of which killer you play or face and which perks the killer has, or the survivor I would also acknowledge this.
But what me matters... Well I was also always be more a fun player. I am it even today, where I just do a few games in some months.
I was a bit shoked to read from the devs, that they have thought about what is necessary for a killer, because this mindest often excludes the fun thing. A problem my favorite killer suffers under imo and also some other killers.
Would DBD designed after my thoughts, survivors like killers could have some op abilities/perks, just so that the people can also have a bit of fun.
I just don't see DBD as a game where you have always to play serious and always for that 4k, or an escape. If the time on the map was fun, I do not care what the entity thinks of me^^. I wish that would be a more common mindset.

This is very true. Don't forget they are also getting a new early game slowdown mechanic added. They even added individual killer MMRs so people trying out killers they haven't played much with can get easier games.
They also buffed Doctor and made Bubba less perk dependent (even though I'd prefer the old one).
Billy was changed but after all the changes to fix his overheating I think right now it's in a good place. Ruin was "nerfed" however their reasoning was correct and the new one is extremely good.
I think it's hard to say survivors are OP when they've done so much to close the gap.
I would still say that a fully equipped and trained swf squad, or 4 experienced solo survivor win most of their games, if they play together and not against each other.
But what killer bufffs matters so I look anyways just at 1 specific killer (if he gets buffed or not) - the rest is from minor interests for me^^. The same I can also say about survivors nerfs or buffs.

New ideas are always good.
Well, besides a undone of the Legion rework to make him finally fun again, I have also this idea already posted:

I usually support such things, but not for dbd.
People would exploit it to see as survivor or killer, the whole map at all times. Have seen it in other games before, like as example Counter Strike.

I constantly see dumb ass killer mains tunneling, camping, and down right being dumb as hell because they're mad at survivors. They constantly use gen rushing or SWF as an excuse to do these things but what else are survivors supposed to do? Doing gens is the objective, why are you mad? SWF shouldn't even be an issue. If you can't counter a well coordinated team that says something about YOU as a killer. YOU'RE bad. Survivors don't owe you easy games because you're too brain dead to do your job efficiently. Survivors shouldn't have a disadvantage because they want to play a TEAM BASED game with their friends and work as a TEAM.
To make it clear: Survivors don't owe easy games to killers, but killers do to survivors... Because... Well... What?
I am a bit confused now...

It should start at where he describes the power (3:15).
Thanks.
Well. He looks really unique, but reminds me somhow strong on the harry potter games - what I have seen of them in short game-news-sequences.
sighs Well, he seems not really what I had hope for, after the first lines I had read here in this thread.

You guys talking in multiple threads about the new killer, but nowhere I had found a link. Can someone throw it in my way? If bhvr is ok with it, that I guess so open it gets discussed here...
Sounds like a intersting killer after a year of... well... maybe not so interesting killers...

If you wonder why there are very few devs who come to the forum, this is why. :) I'm just used to this from Facebook political "arguments". XD
Forget never the good ones over the bad ones^^.
A way of thinking that served me well over the years...
... But still think plz about what I have write about the endings in DBD and F13 :D.
Sorry I couldn't resist :(.

Not to forget the "HEX: Death Button":
After pressing "B" on your keyboard, every survivor instanly dies. No hooks or moris needed anymore... :).

Comon... Don't get mad about me guys... I needed to let something in this thread where the people can rage about xD.

What I have seen in F13 lets plays, shows some interesting things, but for me it would getting old really fast because I knew there will never be another killer besides Jason.
As example: I am a hardcore Legion main. The majority of my playtime in dbd was done with the Legion, but still I have also play much as Trapper, Ghostface or Meyers and some other killers.
For me a game would getting boring really fast if I would be "forced" to take always the same character, because there is nothing else left.
Edit: And that is also the biggest problem of other games of this type of games compared to dbd - they have only 1 or a handful of killers. Not enough for a guy like me :).
Edit²: But the dbd team could really take an example on the end of a match in f13 imo. The moment when Jason walks back and his dead mother talks to him - that is really atmospheric. I wish that there would be something similar if you end a match in dbd as killer and not just "entity is XYZ".

I write mostly in the forums. Looking out for patch notes if there is something interesting. Play 1-3 games/month since a year or so.
Fits right into my day since I work anyways everyday on a pc.
That will maybe change one day for the better, but not in the current state of the game. Need that to say sadly. But who knows? Maybe one day I write less in the forums again and play for it more, as in the past :).

That is the problem if you relay to much on a perk @douggie123 .
You forget how to play the game without it.
It's nothing killer unique. If bhvr ever nerfs sprint burst, ds, bt and so on and make them not as strong anymore as they are today, a lot of survivors will struggle too.
Try to set the survivors in the circle of rescuing their buddys. That is the best way of slowing a game down imo. But don't waste your time and facecamp. The only reason to be near the hook, after you hooked someone up is, if another survivor is already near it.
If that is not the case, go and hunt the guys that are still working on the gens, while one survivor hangs already on the hook. If you find no one by a gen, kick him and move on to the next until you have finally found another survivor or you think it is time to go back to the hook, because he will be rescued in the next secs.
Works most of the time. Sweaty swfs not included since they talk over every fart of the killer in their mics. But that is the way a multiplayer game is.
