Edit: thing-think by the fun element sentence.
Sorry I don't like to edit my postings on this forum how I would usually do it in other forums, because then my posting lands maybe in a "approval status" for some hours.
Something I still don't understand. I understand forums where new postings need to approved, but edited posting... Every "damage" a forum user could possible do is already made in the moment he can unapproved post its posting, man :|.
Just weird for me and I have lead forums by my self in the past -_-.

Nah he fine just the way he is.
Every killer need to be loopable for a chance to the survivor to escape.
Legion was horrendous but hey you decide for me i dont care i dont main legion,
My are nurse,plague and spirit
Don't worry, as it looks nurse, plague and spirit will also get their "reworks" and if you think they can't make plague more bad as she is today... Well then you just need to look what they have make out of the Legion and you should realize... Yes they can! nods
Guess after that rework plague vomits on herself or something like that, since someone in the bhvr hq seems to thing that drawbacks are a "fun element" for killer players :|.
At least someone must have this think, because obviously killer players spent the most time with their killers and have to "suffer" most through any change that happens to their characters.
The default Legion was fine. The Legion with certain addons was op and had also the ability to exploit. If they would give me the task to nerf the Legion, I would have look at the freaking addons.

You should probably go play a different game then. The devs, despite having a hard time keeping the balance, have stated that 2 survivors escaping, 2 survivors being sacrificed is their ideal for the average game (assuming equal skill).
"but killer is the power role! It should win because a killer should be scary!!!" Nonsense. Killers dominate and bully those of lower skill. If I don't play for a while after rank reset and start playing in green/purple ranks, it's not even funny how easily I can bully those survivors. If I get a Survivor I know is boosted in red ranks, taking advantage of that as a red rank killer is not difficult. Similarily, if the survivors are better than a killer they should be able to "bully" the killer. In a team game, balance is more important than some misguided notion that the killer "should be feared. Why?! Because he is the killer, of course!" This isn't real life, it's a game. Games require a certain level of balance to be fun. Keep nurse as she is, or buff other killers to Nurses' level (as many people like you have suggested) and people will just leave this game. Having your skill negated, like current nurse does to good survivors, is not acceptable in a game that aspires to be balanced.
So no, in my opinion comments like yours should be ignored.
I doubt that on a long term many people would leave the game if all killers would be strong enough for red ranks.
Nearly every succesfull multiplayer games has classes that are "op" in certain situations.
Take the most ego shooters as example:
The sniper class will always "op" on an open field and every newb will keep dieing to them... Until they learned to avoid open spaces and move in ruins/behind hills to reach the sniper.
Same goes for lmg classes.
Or when people use tanks, artillery, or helicopters, or planes - they can one shot (multiple) players like snipers before - pretty op until someone uses rocket launchers/anti air rockets.
And I don't like to start here with the 3k strategies you can use, to let people no chance as to lose the match in strategy games like sc:bw.
If you like to have many people play your game you need to give them a challenge. Something they can beat one day and something where they can rise their own skill on.
That is not possible if you only design killers that give survivors still the time to tbag.
Besides that "balance on 2 survivors surviving a match" sounded for me always like as they would not like to put enough time into their own designed characters to make a balance "4v1" possible.
But that are just my own thoughts to that 4v1 thing and so my opinion on this point is maybe wrong.

I'm actually thinking of trying it in a new Doctor build myself. Been getting bored with my usual fare, and his power tends to drive people into them to avoid the madness anyway. Not sure how well it'll work, but I've been curious to try.
It's sees utility use on the Huntress as it affects her locker resupply speed.
Thanks, it makes sense in this context I guess. I had never play doctor, just huntress sometimes.

It's funny how you all circle jerk trying to be biased and discuss balance but fail to see how much Nurse can be OP, yet simultaneously speak of balance and say SWF is OP and if Nurse can beat them that's balance, newsflash no, it's not balance both are OP but you all for some reason cling so tightly to Nurse it's pathetic.
I have never play nurse, besides dailies, but I think she is healthy to the game since the most killers for many people are no choice, if we think on high rank gameplay.
Would bhvr buff the most other killers to the point were they are for the majority of the killer-playerbase a alternative to the usual red rank killers, I would think differently.
Besides, as a pre patch Legion main, I am not a fan of reworks in dbd in general. It's one thing to nerf a ability, but bhvr has shown that they don't stop there.
No matter how op the nurse for some people is might be, I don't think that a second killer deserves the same treatment as the Legion before.
-
Is Iron maiden still a thing? After the Legion rework I have nothing read anymore about this perk, since the majority trys to use other perks, to compansate the terrible drawbacks of the Legion patch.

I'm agree with half the nerfed MoM had
What with mom had happend was maybe not the best solution someone can come up with, but to nerf a killer wights far more as just a perk.
Imagine they would nerf survivors and with that I mean survivors, not their perks. Their default vault speed, movement, repair time and so on and then we could speak eye on eye, because that it is everytime when survivers outcry to nerf a killer (of course not, if the thread is only about a killer perk).
So fascinating a perk maybe is, it is nothing compared to a full redesign of a character/s what survivors like to see over and over again by every killer who could be a potential threat.

I am still waiting for guide "how to play legion" from the persons responsible for legion rework...
People that are responsible for a rework like this, are usually not the people that also play the character/class/whatever they have changed.
So... Even when I believe that they 1 day will wake up and see that they have to do something, so I don't believe that we will ever meet a person that have work on the changes for the Legion and also has play the Legion before and is still playing the Legion, especially as main character.

hi its me again and question Is it good that I am a friendly killer ?
Depends what you like to get in return.
As I had play the game, I was most times a friendly killer. Besides a few matches where I was in a bad mood (mostly because of things in rl and 1-2 times because of a really toxic behavior of the survs [the annoying flashlight sort of toxic behavior^^]).
In return I had very often a friendly endgame chat. That said, in the match survivors were still sometimes toxic towards me, or at least what some killers see as a toxic behavior.
I have never care if survivors have gen rush - it is after all their objective to gen rush as example. Or also tbagging was for me never a problem. Sometimes survivors have even do it, to show me something. The way to an afk guy or so as example, or to give them 1 last hit before they leave the match.
What I had sometimes to "struggle" with, were dcs, but I was always happy about the fast earned bps and it was after all a loss for the dcing survs, if they had dc in a match with a killer like me imo, because as said before I was fair playing.
If they had dc, just because they have not like the Killer I have played, it was their problem, not my shrug shoulders. Should they play against some facecamping killer in their next match, I don't care.
But even with a mostly friendly endgame chat, I still had sometimes meet toxic people, but they haven't bother me, since the majority of the survivors in the endgame chat were either silent, or friendly. Sometimes other survs have even defend me for the toxic guys.
Playing friendly and not tryhard on a success means to make a decision imo. You may never see rank 1 (but you will for sure meet red ranks thanks to the match making system^^ - something what I have seen as a challenge), but in return the game is more relaxing (or it was it for me at least) and you will meet more friendly people if your luck takes not a horrible unlucky path.
I can everyone advice to play fair, if you not really like to reach 1 because after my experience those matches are for more relaxing and fun making.

1.What do you think about adding an option to disable for example max 3 maps, killers and survivors, players dont want to play against or on it, by selecting it in game options?
Just no.
Everytime something like that get implemented in a game, the waiting times for a new game just increase. The people already yet complaining about long waiting times. Don't think they would like to wait even longer.
DCers should be banned. 1st time for a week with a message why they got banned. 2second time, permaban, again with a message why^^.

@Talmeer That price is just adding up the character DLCs, not invluding the customisation packs. https://i.imgur.com/DDhiE7e.png
Just as something funny - in between - for this discussion:
Ever dreamed of driving trains? Now you can! Train Simulator 2019 brings to life some amazing train challenges on real world routes and delivers the ultimate railway hobby. You think dbd has many dlcs and is expensive?
Look in the dlc list of this game and the price if like to buy this game + all the dlcs.
I still laughing while I writing this posting, after I have read how many money those guys want to see from a customer for that game and all the dlcs...
Fortunately I am not interessted in those kind of games :D.

How to use perks? Lightweight is automatic, Iron Will is Automatic when injured, Urban Evasion is just crouch speed increased. Tips are a good way on how to learn to play against killers.
It is good what you try here Ember, but you need to realize that some people are just learn resistend. Don't waste your time.
In other games they would be thrown out of the Clan/Guild/Whatever with that kind of attitude.
Sadly in dbd, the devs listen sometimes to them, that's why we should try to reach out to the devs, instead of giving people tips that not even want to hear them.
If they have one day enough from being the end of the food chain, they will ask themself for tips.
That I have learn here in those forums sadly :|.
-
Would be nice if they do it. It is good to inform the playerbase about bugs&exploits, but to show what you need to make, so that they work, or to encourage their audiences to use exploits, or to encourage them to do other crap in the game should be very high on the "to ban list" imo.

Well lets face it. Survivors usually get into red ranks because they know how to loop. I am a poor survivor in looping, so i will never be in the red ranks. But the killers in there, some are good at the game, but most just got there by camping and tunnelling the f* out of everyone. And yes, those killers will have a hard time when they go up further, cause the survivors that can loop arent as easy to catch and will punish that bullshit. When killers camp and tunnel, they will never learn how to end loops, how to loop and how to end chases quickly. And thats the problem with red ranks killers nowadays. They end up in a spot they dont belong, just because of the tunnel and camp. Do you really think the survivors that are in red ranks and can loop, are waiting for a camping and tunnelling killer or do they want to play against someone really good? As long as this game rewards this play, people that play killer like this will be in places they dont belong. And just too stupid to realize they never learned to play killer proper. And the longer BHVR waits to adress this really big problem in the game, the more people will be turned off by it. Its already happening.
You have the same on survivor site - sort of. Most survivors I have meet in this forums don't know what to do when someone takes that looping from them away.
And even don't want to read how to do it. I can remember how I writed 1 day a text... Well... Double... Maybe triple the length of Lux1 posting here on this page, only to get the a posting back "I don't want to do this and I have stop reading after the first sentence".
That had teach me, that I don't waste time anymore to explain someone something here, so in depth. I would only give short tips, before I write again a feeled half hour on a tutorial for nothing.
Survivors and killers are different in the things they have to do, but imo, we suffer under the same things, just on different ways.
So... We are not that different after all :).

I've tried to get several friends to play dbd and I got the EXACT same response. Camping and tunneling being number 1, not gonna lie it's a reason I don't play as much either. I fired up the game recently for the first time in months, got 4 killers in a row who camped. Felt like a total waste of time even opening the game up. Also another common complaint is getting matched with killers more than 4 or 5 ranks ahead of the survivor.
The same happens also to killers and when you not take that as a challenge, it makes also no fun if those survivors are really playing good.
If you like to try out killer site of the game, you will see that the game gets harder and harder from one rank to another. Imo survivors are the kings of the high ranks, while killers rule the low ranks.
The most things that here are criticized have not frightened my friends, since camping is not a dbd unique thing and the matchmaking well... I guess dbd needs more players for a change there.
What my friends had frightened was that the devs have no problem to change payed content to something totally different. I know, not everyone has a problem with that, but some people (me included) have, but that I have already explained enough in other threads.

I understand that, but it's still a problem. New players come in and see a $30 game with $112.50 of DLC and that's JUST to have the characters unlocked. On top of that any cosmetics that look nice cost a tonne, and they're adding a paid battle pass as well.
Even if you can get stuff cheaper, the price these days for the fully unlocked game is far exceeding a triple A game with a season pass, and there simply isn't the quality to support that.
It would definitely not hurt to build Hag and Doctor's DLCs into the base game like Nurse and Huntress, and periodically retire some of the DLC later on like Clown.
I have my doubts that the cosmetics (besides the cosmetic dlcs on steam) will ever getting cheaper. I mean, I don't know it, but I can only assume that the cosmetics are the "real" thing, the devs made with their money.
-
@anarchy753 said:
I know it's never going to change, but the biggest feedback I've had from friends I've tried to get into the game is how awful the constant paywalls are.
A VAST majority of the cast is either locked behind money or an insanely long grind, and MANY meta perks are bound to them.
It may have been fine when there were a few DLC packs, but it's 2/3 of the game's content now. Some of the older DLC really needs to get built into the base game.
The game and the dlc's you can sometimes buy very cheap on steam. Just wait for something special like the summer holidays, or if we look at the future... The black friday and so on^^.

When did the rework of the Legion rework come? (not that this got not already ask before a feeled thousand times :P)
-
Anyone ever had funny or lighthearted moments playing as killer?
May not directly fun but, I have actual made 2 experience that I like to hold as a memory. Both situations had happen pre Legion patch:
-1) I was in the mood for a fun match and then in the lobby had came a guy up with the name "Legion=DC" and I thought already "ok, easy points for me".
I have saw him as first in the game and he hasn't dc :). Instead he had stay as would he be afk (like a totally frightened hare). I hit him once with m1 and then moved on. From the match start, till the match end, he got more and more open to "enjoy" the game.
I bet he had all the "horror storys" of the Legion in his head and as he has seen that not every Legion was like he had thought, you could see how he starts to involve himself more and more in the match and that he had fun :).
-2) The secound thing was a match, that started with just 1 survivor. It was a Kate. For me it was already clear that I will let her farm, as good as she can, as soon as I have seen that she was alone in the match.
Nonetheless I have not left out to "shock" her a few moments. At the beginning I have run in full frenzy on her so that she had thought, that she will now die and at the end of the match I downed her for the open gates, just to bring her to a hook... But then I had let her enough time, so that she could wiggle herself free.
We had a funny conversation after that match in the endgame chat :D.
-
Whoever exploits, no matter which exploit or how often, deserves to be permabanned.
Same for people that encourage other players to exploit, or how to use them.
Greetings,

there are many annoying things , for example
- survivor tapping generator while in chase so not only i am looped for hours but also i dont even hold back generator since it doesnt regress
-the game should add voice chat between survivors only and balance around it since atm its balanced around solo survivors , and the swf uses voice chats , and in option if u dont want just disable voice chat . and killer cant hear what they say and cant communicate
-lack of 2nd objective , its very stressful to play as a killer , you know u have like 5 mins only so its already meh ,
-m1 killers should be buffed , u can remove noed and nerf omegablink nurse and prayer beads spirit but buff m1 killers..
-the game should reward a bit more stealth survivors , since now its just efficent running around between gens and doing looping..
-dead perks could use some love
etc etc
Bigger rewards for stealth and less for looping would be a great change I think.
A big part of the problems dbd has, are selfmade by the survivors imo, because they are so tryhard what looping matters.
Better rewards for stealthing could teach them, that there is something beyond looping and second objectives would be also nice^^.
Of course also, the most killers are to weak. Would that not be the case, the survivors would not always complain that they only meet nurses, spirits and billys in higher ranks.
But im afraid, the devs would rather nerf those three, as to buff the others.
-
Ah, thanks. From that one I had already know.
-
The devs have mentioned the Legion? trys to ask that with a carefully voice
Is it a new dev stream, or one of the older ones?
-
I know this will probably irk a lot of people, but I'm not out here to just mock or insult the dev team.
I personally think that behavior is very creative.
They just fighting against two things:
-They like to stretch their ideas imo because they also like to have space for new ideas in a few years. I mean let us be honest... Without new content patches, this game would die, like every other game that gets no content patches and so I think they doing it right to come slowly with new things.
-Everytime they implementing something new, like the Legion, Spirit, mom and so on, there old playerbase starts crying and I can only assume, that this is also something what holds them back if we talk about new ideas.
Aka. "We could make this really fun making killer... But then our forums would be flooded in survior tears"... "Let us better forget this idea".

I have decided to quit the game and just obtained the achievements that I felt that I could get and I am now done with this game.
In DBD many things running wrong, but serious... It's a multiplayer game, so the people will communicate. And even when the devs would block Teamspeak as example, then the people would go to discord and so on...
But anyways, I can understand you, that you take a break. I am by myself on break at the moment until they give new news to some Legion changes out.

######### are you on? Bc whatever ur smokin I probably need in on it to get through the next few months at my awful ass job.
Yes Legion mains who exploited the monster that he used to be don't get to have fun doing it anymore. You know why? Bc old Legion was no fun for 80% of the people in every game involving him. You were hard pressed to find any Survivior who liked being Tunnelled down with Frank's mixtape not being able to do anything about it bc of his ungodly MS in FF. You were hard pressed to find a Survivior who liked 10 minute mending times. You were hard pressed to find a Survivior who liked still getting hit at loops they won at. You were hard pressed to find Surviviors who liked the idea of old Legion and you were hard pressed to find any non-Legion main who didn't sympathize with them.
Ur fun was at the expense of everyone else so you don't get to have your broken character anymore. Sorry you don't like that, but it's for the better.
Thanks for indirectly proving my point.
Why can't some people accept that:
-There Legions out there that have use not 1 time a exploit.
-There Legions out there that have never use the addons.
-That you could have a friendly and happy endgame chat as Legion.
You know, while Legion mains are able to accept that there was exploiting idiots out there and people that have use the op addons, in exchange, the Legion haters were never be able (and they are also not able to do it today), to recognize there was fair playing Legions out there in the game, that have make matches, that could be for both sites fun.
I have even pictures to prove it, what did you say now? Let me guess... Now comes some random angry comment about some other aspect, because you don't like to imagine that the pre patch Legion was fun for some people.
You know... I would really like to see people like you, when bhvr would take everything out of the game what you like. Maybe you start to understand then. Experiences are at least in real life our strongest teachers...

True, you'd counterplay old Legion at a loop and he'd miss, not get a penalty and hit you. I'm so happy that was changed, and also how they can't tunnel you down with frenzy anymore (bye bye Frank's mix tape)
But was that fair?
Taking the fun out for the whole playerbase, just some addons were so strong, that they could even count as exploits?
How would you act, if your favorite killer gots reworked like that, or survivors?
What would you say, if bhvr would remove keyboard keys from the table of survivors, so that you only can move with your mouse (like in wow, when you are to lazy or sleepy, to actual use your keyboard and just move with your mouse^^)?
That you don't have deserve this, because you were always a non-toxic, fair playing and non-exploit using survivor?
Well... Welcome in our world :).

To my time, as I had play killer, I was never really annoyed by DCing guys. I have just thank them in my thoughts and take the fast earned points, but this one dcing guy had ruin the fun for probally 3 other survivors and that is something more serious then.
Behavior should just ban them. Some of them need even need this to realize that they ruining the fun for other players.
And what the que times matters... I can't remember long waiting times in the EU pc region^^. 1-5 mins max. That's ok. I need anyways time to check my mails, taking a coffee, making a cigarette, going on toilette and so on... It was always ok for me to have a few mins between the matches.

Main reason for ME personally:
I can play a killer match poorly and leave with between 16-18k.
I'd have to make it to the end of the match AND survive to get that same amount as survivor.
The majority of matches recently, I get tunneled or camped less than 2 minutes into the match and leave with 4k points.
Then you add the fact that half your teammates are trash, the community can be hella toxic, random lag spikes, broken ass hitboxes, and the fact that killer is more fun to play, it makes plenty of sense that you're finding less and less survivors.
I've run into way more BS in this game as a survivor than as a killer and I get tilted a lot more easily as survivor than killer.
Well, with random lag spikes and hitboxes you have also to fight as killer. They are actual "fair" and annoy both sites :).
-
I don't know why, but in the few games I had play as survivor, I was always afraid to face the pig. For a unknown reason, I fear most that crouching girl.
But no... I had never meet a pig. Instead a ton of meyers, huntresses, billys and a few nurses far I remember.
So, with luck I have avoid everything in the game that could possible give me the willies^^.

I main survivor, but I feel stressed because I do care about rank, but I solo 95% of my games, and it's painful to see the consequences of playing solo survivor. It also makes it worse when people DC or suicide. I try to play non-toxically, but I have gotten post game chat apologies from killers saying they are sorry for being sweaty. Which in this match, a rank 19 David butt danced him I saw with empathy, causing the suffering of the other 3 green rank survivors in the game. I think killer is more fun most of the time now because I can at least control the flow of the game how I want it, whether I want to hook or spare survivors.
Far as I remember it, killer is more fun from rank 20 - rank 10. Then it turns with every rank harder and depending on the killer you are playing, it gets more and more frustrating.
That said, in my games I had always the survivors live and farm, if a survivor already dc while the match was loading or in a really early stage of a match.
Dbd can make fun, even if you kill no one, as long as you like the character you are playing.

Everything you started off with in your comment is why you feel like poop. Stop being a sucker, you try and make sure everyone has fun because they paid for the game too? What kind of nonsense is that? Stop bending the knee to survivors because you're scared they'll be mad at you. You shouldn't be giving people hatch or letting2 people escape, tunneling is a made up word for "i can't get away so your not fair". Get some balls and play for you. Then it won't sting when people dump on you anyway cause you decided to play by fake rules. You also paid for the game, did ya know that? And it came with no mercy instructions. The devs made it the way it's supposed to be. "I don't play with add ons on hillbilly and nurse." That whole sentence is disgusting. Lol you gotta be a survivor main.
I had also play my pre patch Legion (that was my main), without addons.
Not really because of the survs, but to have a) more of a challenge and b) some were to op for me and I have similar read from other killers. Seems to be quiet common that killers not always use their addons, for various reasons. So he is by far not alone with this attitude.
Also games where survivors and the killer are happy are the best games imo.
-
I guess playing survivor would be more fun, if survivors would be different in their abilitys. At the moment it is so imo, that you play 1 survivor and then nothing special comes anymore.
Would be nice if survivors would have special abilitys like killers. What know I... Maybe one survivors vaults faster, runs faster, repairs gens faster... Of course with drawbacks to balance this out.
The fast running guy as example should not really be good at gen repairing as example.
But maybe I see this wrong, - I am a killer main and can only say what I would like to see by survs.
-

Too much killers.
Guess more people would have play more survivor matches, if the survivors would be different to each other, like killers are (at least mostly).
When you have play 1 survivor character, you have practically play every survivor character. Non of them has special abilitys, just a different skin.
But still, must be hell to wait so long in a lobby :). I guess I can be lucky to have not to struggle with this for now^^.
-
I played today for 4 hours DBD only Killer today, and I play a very fair killer.
As said before, use the "powers" the internet gives you.
Report those people and depending in where you active - if in dbd or something else, set them on ignore.
Well and to get a thicker skin could also help. It's maybe not what you want to hear now, but it is what will you help most on the internet and sometimes in real life.
After all, the people that insult you in the internet didn't know you in real life and imo, nobody can really insult you, if he didn't know you in real life, because they didn't know who you really are.
Just read their crap, report it, or ignore it but don't think about it. That's the best advice.

Would be fine to do something bout the, imho, stupid grind, especially for killers, as every killer has it s own power. Survivors feel like husks, have every survivor at rank 40 cause of the teachables, mained Jake, thats it.
Add the possibility to start KYF alone, to check out the different maps, try running loops, chainsaw aorund or try blinking.
Would make this game much friendlier for beginners, just my 2 cents.
Then they should better make a new category, because the name KYF implies something different, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Maybe they could also link to tutorial videos from streamers, if they teach new layers in those videos nothing toxic. That could also be a signal to some streamers that have encourage players to toxic playstyles in the past, because the ones who haven't do that in the past, get then because of the linked tutorial videos more traffic^^.

@Jesya Depends on the MMO. City of Heroes wasn't bad. Current WoW is very forgiving to new players. They can quest, which no longer takes all that long, or just dungeon hop, and be at the latest expansion in no time. Once in the latest expansion, catch-up mechanics get them into needed gear very fast (which they launched about four months into the expansion and have been updating since).
Dead by Daylight, though, is on the level of old-school MMOs. And there's a reason they aren't like that any more.
Aw You also a wow player?
I come from time to time back. Currently I playing again. The 2 new zones looking nice. But I need to say, if you 6-7+ months away from wow and you coming back, then you feeling sometimes overwhelmed by all the changes in particularly the gameplay.
Of course you don't feel the same way, when you just play the game without break times between. Then updates can't come fast enough^^.

The length of this post is the only reason it's not getting more props. It's pretty much nailed it. DbD is the Facebook or Youtube of asymmetrical horror games: Terrible and unyielding in its ways, with a highly toxic community, but utterly unrivalled so it's them or nothing. They're using this chokehold to deny every other game licensed killers, as well, so they can pocket their DLC money on a regular basis and stop caring once the sale is made, with no hope of competition.
Imo, ingame I haven't meet many toxic people.
I guess that also depends how someone approaches other players. I guess would I have facecamp, my endgame chats would have look differently.
That said, shortly after I posted in the steam forums I needed to make my steam profile privat. I was not offended by the crap some people needed to write, but I also don't like to moderate my steam profile 24/7. So it ended privat^^.

why does every post you make have to do with legion?
i'm pretty sure original legion made more people quit than anything else in the history of the game, other than maybe the introduction of bloodlust, and i imagine legion's rework got more people to come back
Proof me wrong^^.
And to your question. Would I see a reason in the devs actions (something I wouldn't be able to argument away), I would act differently, but the most arguments I have read that have lead to the patch, I can't support.
You will understand me, if devs start to look at the things you like. Something that will happen for sure, sooner or later.

Funny enough heres the actual stat tracker numbers look fine to me looks actually higher then normal, normal numbers are 16k playing.
Thanks for linking the charts.
Yes, 29 april-6 may was the last high peak for the 70k higher peak. Aka, around the Legion patchday (that was the 5 may, I know it because that was the first time I used a mori and with it I got a mori achievment^^).
Would they just understand as a message *sighs*.

Question tho. What is that spike near the end? (the date)
Guess that was the moment were 70k people played the game if you have followed the dbd news. They had make a free dbd weekend to that time on steam, if I remember correctly.

Is the last higher number at may 2019? Looks like that... Well what for a surprise, the Legion patch hasen't safe the day, instead make it worse^^.
Would they just have listen to the right people :|.

I have mostly fun in mind.
So I hope for a change what frenzy matters (that it is again faster) and that this penalty for a miss hit while stabbing goes away.
The chase should feel great again, imo. I also think that those changes would not really hurt the balance in the game.

Or young adults @Andreyu44
They are described as 19 years old, at the time where the story events had happen. We can assume that they have still a year or 2, before they got aware of the entity.
And everyone after 18 is in my country a young adult. No teen anymore, but I know in america that looks different.
But still... The Legion reminds me a bit on those good old times as I was by myself in this age.
But btt.
Because people like to play sometimes, something different @Captain_Doomsday . I can't know it, but I assume that even the most survivor, or killer mains play sometimes something different as their usual number 1 character.
I had by myself sometimes play Michael Meyers, or the Clown, or also Jeff, or Kate, even I was a Legion main (not counting in what I have played because of the dailies) and I had never really look on my bps. I have just play for fun and with a attitude like that, bps are the last thing you think of :).
Toxicty I had btw. not often in my matches, or endgame chats. At least what I understand it.
For some people as example, is it maybe toxic if the survivors teabag at the gates, for me it was most times the sign that they waited for me to give them 1 last hit, because they were ok with the match.
Not everytime is something like tbagging meant to be toxic imo, even it is it sometimes for sure.
