My guess is that both JMF and VT decrease charge time by the same amount and it does not matter which order you use them in.thesuicidefox said:
That depends how you interpret "slightly". The wiki states that JMF "Decreases the charge time by 50 %" and VT "Decreases the charge time to 0.5 seconds" and the order matters AFAIK. That means if you use them in combination, JMF first then VT, you should have a super fast charge time. -
None of these are worth using IMO. The only one I couls barely see a case being made for is John's Medical File. Bleeding is nigh useless, none of the ones that modify Skill Checks are good on anyone who doesn't suck at them, and Shattered Syringe is definitely not good enough by itself as an individual add-on.Chi said:Pig
Workshop Grease (Eh, it is a common addon.)
John's Medical File (Nope, quite useful.)
Shattered Syringe (Nope, super useful)
Razor Wire (Works well in a gross Pig build.)
Utility Blades (Works well with Bloodhound.)
Interlocking Razor (Works well with Razor Wire, again disgusting build lol.)
Amanda's Secret (Yes, this addon is actually completely useless. I can't stand getting it in my bloodweb.) -

My strategy is to let 'em be at first and focus on other Survivors and then start harassing them if they've failed to get the trap off in a timely manner (long enough for me to suspect that they failed on their first one or two boxes). BBQ&C lets me gauge what box they probably last checked and what box they may be headed to next (since they may not be able to afford masking their aura or faking their direction while they are on the clock). Then I can work to down them and drag them away from boxes I have a good feeling they still need to check. Hopefully that will waste enough time that one more good stumble on their part will be enough to make the trap snap inevitable. Either that, or by the time they reach the last box, I won't need to stall them for long before the trap goes off.Eninya said:@Speshul_Kitten said:

Idk I feel that might be a bit too hard on Pig, survivors would be able to hide behind itI think a better thing would be to allow the Jigsaw box to reset to another location if the pig’s presence (not Terror radius) stays near one for too long. Provided that there isn’t a survivor on a hook of course.
Well, body blocking boxes is unnecessary, and incredibly rare to be effective without using Amanda's Secret and limiting you to two boxes. On top of this, you need to waste time sneaking around the survivor to see if they get their trap off on the first box, and then beat them to the second.
This entire time, you're not pressuring anyone else, and wasting time on the survivor you're already pressuring. This is the whole problem with that garbage "Ultra Rare addon" for her. Even the Ambush w4llh4x you get is so small it's practically useless, as is trying to spend an entire match using Ambush. Using boxes is loud, so if you patrol near one you'll hear someone trying to use it.
If you're going to kill someone with some serious cheese on Pig, it's infinitely more effective to Ambush-camp hooks, as you'll still be able to bring better addons.
-
Wouldn't that just allow the Pig to warp boxes away from people?Speshul_Kitten said:

I just want a killers to have even numbers of add-ons divided among the 5 rarities.ForeheadSurviors said:Hillbilly a killer who should have a cool down like spirit needs buffs? -
What I'm saying is that if an add-on that both slightly decreases Ambush Charge time and missed Ambush cooldown is worth 4000 BP, then an add-on that does one or the ither can't be worth more than 2000. Therefore, there's no way the Syringe and the Medical File can be worth what you spend in BPs to obtain them.Speshul_Kitten said:
“Only 1,000 more” actually means that you’d be spending/saving anywhere from 1000-30000 BP in the bloodweb. If you always want to have good add-ons such as the one that combines them both don’t overuse them on easy games. I use common add-ons that aren’t AS effective but still allow me to play great on high ranks. Not to mention you don’t have to use two common add-ons together.TAG said:

Its a stacking add-on. Every single effect from the doctors iridescent king add-on can be achieved through his other add-ons. It frees up a lot if you want to run something else, or stacks with them if you don't.
You're missing the point. After one hit, it's worse than Begrimed Chains, after two hits, it's Begrimed Chains, after three hits, how are they not dead, after four hits, HOW ARE THEY NOT DEAD.
Ah, the classic, I'm right, therefore you're wrong." I'm not missing any point, the point is that those debuffs stack and aren't on a timer which is already a direct upgrade, plus the ability for more effects. In any case, it's definitely an improvement to his base kit.
The extra effects are pretty much irrelevant because successfully striking someone down with your chainsaw 3 times means that unless you have failed to hook them after each chainsaw, they will be sacrificed after the third one, which means the hindered status effect and the exposed status effect will almost never come into play. So at that point, you've basically just made an Ultra Rare that's hardly different from Begrimed Chains.

I have seen many native americans get really mad over this. I watched one Seminole tribe member fire a manager at their casino, and then blackball them from working in any decent restaurant in Tampa, for calling himself ManWHoCooks.
It's one of those racist things that got put into popular culture, like calling a Romani a Gypsy.

Gotta' say, I don't really think cypress is underpowered, the rest are just overpowered. I don't think there's anything in the game that comes anywhere close to changing the balance that much. The second closest would probably be a tombstone Myers or iridescent head. I mean we're literally talking about an offering that instantly takes someone out of the game after just one hook. The equivalent would be an offering/add-on that allows a survivor to instantly escape after completing only one generator, and that's just bananas. I'm all for most ultra rares being nerfed into the ground like BNPs, anti-hemorrhagic syringes and all. It would make the outcome of a match more based on skill and less who brought the biggest guns. With that said though, I would totally be okay with cypress becoming baseline, but rancor would need something to make it stand out.
I mean, for all intents and purposes, a non-broken key is not far off from that, is it?
And as for Rancor, I wouldn't mind just leaving it as is since being able to kill the Obsession at any point after the gens are powered is still overall more useful during that point of the game than just killing the last Survivor in the trial. If Rancor needed to be changed to accomodate making Cypress Mori base kit, I dunno, what if instead of giving the Killer the ability to insta-kill the Obsession, it let you permanently see the aura of the Obsession once the gates are powered?

I also do that (Piggy be mah fav, and it's fun forcing the trap snaps when I can). I still don't think she has enough good add-ons. That seems awful. You'll never land a hit with the increased charge time + the super loud roar.
-
Imma give it a whack with the Pig.
Neutral B: Reverse Bear Trap (command grab) - The Pig hops forward with an RBT. If she connects, she grabs the opponent and slaps the trap on before kicking them away (which deals some damage and knockback). A Jigsaw Box spawns on the map, and they have 8 seconds to reach it and get the trap off before it snaps (which will happen the moment the wearer is touching the ground), causing more damage and insta-dizzy. Timer is paused while wearer is hit into the air or grabbed, (it resumes when the user recovers and touches ground again) while a Final Smash is active, or if the Jigsaw Box falls off the map (it will quickly respawn similar to K. Rool's crown). After placing an RBT on someone, she can still grab and hit people with the Neutral B, but she will not place another RBT on someone until 15 seconds after the previous one has either snapped or been taken off.
Side B: Lunge - The Pig runs forward with blade drawn. She can jump while running, and pressing any attack button will cause her to slash. She stops running when she reaches a ledge or when Pig shields to cancel. If she does this in the air, she will move forward and stop the attack if she grabs the ledge
Down B: Ambush - Typical counter. The Pig crouches, and if she is hit, she will dodge and stab with her blade. The Ambush crouch is identical to a normal crouch animation-wise (except that it briefly flashes like a counter) for potential fake-outs.
Up B: Jigsaw's Ascension - The Pig jumps up and drops a Jigsaw Puppet rigged with a bomb, which explodes and propels her up into the air.
Final Smash: Amanda's Game - The Pig charges forward head-first. Anyone she hits will go flying off-screen, causing the screen to fade to black and triggering a cutscene. Anyone hit will appear in a locked room rigged with explosives. One character (chosen at random, since it does not matter; the other characters hit with the FS will simply be observers locked in the same room) will have a key and be in front of two doors. Before they can decide which door to try, both open, revealing dead ends with Jigsaw puppets laughing at them. The room explodes and gameplay resumes, with anyone in that room taking high damage and knockback. -
