  • You really don’t understand that survivors only have one to two ways out. And most people have hatch locations memorized so that’s not a viable option a lot of the time as they’re going to slug anyways. F13 has 7 counselors and 5 ways out. I have way more fun dying in that game than for these complaining killers that want ez 4Ks. That’s not fun for survivors.

  • no, I’ve played both sides. I know gen rush is their only way out. But I don’t think most of the maps are really that big. Killers can kill really fast too. If you want gen speed to go down I believe killers need to have moris taken out or just in general slowed down as well. It’s not fair to see teammates go down 1 minute into the game either. Hell you practically spawn on survivors as a killer too. All killers....They all have potential, but some have more than others.

I was playing solo. In this situation pls tell me how this is fair ? The only reason he even got one kill at all was because of noed but still the gens went so fast “just pressure gens” dosnt work because people would have gotten on another gen if he chased someone there was nothing he could have done here

I’ve seen high mobility killers pressure gens ez. Killers can do it just work on improving man. How come killers can kill so fast? Should that not be addressed too?

  • Don’t fall for loops playing as killer. Protect your gens. Staring at a progress bar Longer isn’t going to solve the issue. They could add parts to find that would be cool, but even then honestly I don’t see why it should take longer than it is now. It’s not fair for survivors to stay in a game longer where it’s possible that a teammate can go down hooked unhooked and downed again within the first minute of the game and get Mori’d. It’s the fact that this is a possibility is ridiculous too!

  • Get good. I can tell you I’ve seen killers do their job effectively without ebony and with ebony it’s overkill. Solo surviving is at its worst. You ought to be more acknowledging of another issue than gen speed. They need to stop buffing killers.

If you've played high rank killer or watched killer streamers lately you'd know gens are still blitzkrieged even after the item rework. Anybody know if there is anything in the works for the gen time problem right now? I know there are other problems like infinite loops and matchmaking but I feel like matchmaking is only bad because so few people are playing killer after the ruin nerf so red rank SWF squads are getting matched with low rank killers. It sounds like people don't want base time to get added to gens since it would be boring so everyone seems to like the idea of a second objective?

Do they have a new plan for how fast killers can kill people too? You’re being very one sided here on the issues at hand. Ebony Mori’s and the ridiculously small maps are unfair to survivors when you crunch all of the generators in a small area With fast killers. You’re in the wrong on gen speed. Use dying light, thanat and/or ruin. Thanat especially will help. But it angers me to hear you talk about gen speed still after they’ve nerfed toolboxes. You have perks that slow gen repair. Use them.

I mean, considering ebonies pop up once every 10 bloodwebs and ivories pop up 1 out of 20, you're just unlucky. Also, yeah, you in yourself abandoning your team just because you don't like what MIGHT happen in a game (cypress or even just a shroud) is more toxic than the possibility of bringing a mori that's gonna be fixed soon. Just because a secret offering exists doesn't mean, "Hey, I don't like this. I'm going to abandon my team and possibly leave them to longer matchmaking and a worse game so I don't have to deal with helping. Especially changing your name to reflect that. Seeing that name will make survivors dc more then killers, because killers have speedy matchmaking considering not a lot of people play killer because its a risk between bullied and dominating. In short, yeah, it's really toxic because it makes people angrier who will later lash out at others and will be called salty because of it.

This is a lie. Ebony Mori’s are way more common than this. I am seeing them every other bloodweb level at least. It’s quite ridiculous and something needs to be done about them. The game isn’t enjoyable with ebonys. I can understand a green one and yellows are almost useless. But ebonys are too much. You don’t need to go around putting people down because you’ve inevitably found them once. The fun part of the game thrives off of survivor - killer interactions and when there’s something that literally diminishes the amount of times you get those interactions then it ruins the game. Keys are necessary, Mori’s aren’t. And my reasoning for that is because keys allow people to escape when things get too hard to do. There have always been alternate methods of escaping in every survival video game. You don’t ever want to leave anyone feeling hopeless, because where’s the fun in that? Mori’s literally allow killers to down and hook someone then use that person as bait so as soon as they get unhooked they just get Downed and Mori’d. It’s unfair!

  • @HollowsGrief said:

So when is this issue going to be addressed? Cause even survivor mains I play with think it is stupid, most of the entire dbd community thinks current gen speed combined with map size is just dumb.

stupid as in it’s too fast? It’s not fast. Equip dying light, thanat and ruin and then come back and tell me it’s too fast. Coulraphobia works as long as you can keep them all injured. Map size isn’t even that big on some of the maps. Rather I feel it’s actually quite small with gens being so close to the center or all tightly knit together. They need to be spread out imo. Otherwise killer can camp gens.

  • im a level 5 killer. Lvl 3 survivor.

  • I’m a firm believer this game is killer sided because killers don’t pip for getting less than 4 kills, so they make it as ez as possible for them 🤷‍♂️ Yet they still cry 🤨

K, you can say I'm lying all you want. You're clearly a godlike player, good for you.

I’m on your side . It’s like 75% of the killers have too much potential . It’s near impossible to do the last gen if you’re by yourself. And you wonder why there’s a key. Killers have ebony Mori which is unnecessary ! Yes survivors have a key but they aren’t equal . Survivors still have to do the work, killers get a short cut

I don't mean this as an insult, but maybe you shouldn't be at red ranks if you're struggling? At the same time, losing streaks happen often.. ive had times where i've depipped 10 games straight and then worked my way back up. You aren't meant to win every single game; whether it means escaping or pipping.

Nah he’s right, killers win too much lol I’m rank 3 survivor and all my teammates are always red rank. Killers are too efficient. At least most of them are. I see teammates that really do try too , but to no avail

  • Extremely obvious ones being? The ones placed near hooked survivors or the triangle hag draws on the ground as if you think people actually pay attention to those?

  • @Hopesfall said:

This game has gotten really stale for killers at red ranks post ruin nerf.. roll your eyes all you want, it's truth. If I want to try interesting builds that deviate from the 6-7 "meta" perks for killers, gens fly and it's generally a miserable experience. You will of course have some wins, but more often than not, Brutal Killer/Displeased is your result.

Survivors can run meme or thematic builds all day long because they have 3 other people to carry them. If i want to run an all hex build, stealth, or perma injure build.. it might work a quarter of the time. Injured people at high ranks just split up and sit on gens so it doesn't really matter.. plus they get dead hard constantly.

I realize X killer may have Y build that works for them, that only proves that you're being pigeonholed. "If you want to use this killer, here are the perks that actually work".

I am essentially locked into using the same build for every killer unless I want 3 chases and the game to be over in 5 mins. Boring.

    BBQ / Corrupt / Pop / Discordance /// Nurses / Monitor

"THEN JUST SLUG" - no thanks that's not fun

"DONT WORRY ABOUT RANK" -- maybe I don't like seeing "Entity Displeased" every game when I try experimenting

"PLAY ANOTHER GAME THEN" - i have been thanks

Sure would be nice to be able to run interesting builds without being absolutely punished by the game.

Ruin is still good. It’s useful in combination with informational perks like surveillance. Tbh it doesn’t need a buff. I think killers are still OP they have so many good ad ons and ebony Mori. I know you want your 4K every game but please understand that each of those 4 survivors are real people too that want their share of an enjoyable experience playing the game. And it’s not enjoyable when you can’t get any gens done fast. Good killers can take people out of the game JUST as quick or just keep survivors on their toes healing and rescuing so gens don’t get done. You got thanat, dying light. Ruin is a crutch. Get good at actually being a killer.

  • Some feel as though going on the hook, they won’t get off of it. Or the killer is just gonna show up and Mori them. I don’t think gen speed is really that serious for you to be Mori’ing people. It’s just being abusive at that point. I’ve seen good killers get 12 hooks without tunneling. Without face camping. Without Mori. NOED comes in clutch, but it’s still a crutch. You combine all of these things with thanat, dying light, OP add ons, I mean.... get good all you want but there’s only so much you can do without getting caught. And like I said, not all of us are the best loopers or can run the killer for serious lengths of time. But that doesn’t mean everyone’s deserves to die. That falls back on poor map design. Why are vaults not having longer walls? Why are killers running faster than my lithe/sprint burst ability? Legion is the prime suspect there. I see him do it every time. It’s just not that serious.

I have been playing DBD since it came to gamepass. I mostly play as the killer. The number of survivors that disconnect before they are sacrificed is maddening. I have gone several weeks without playing DBD because I get sick of it happening every couple of matches. I can't count how many times I have chased someone for a good 5 minutes. Down them. Put them on the hook. Only for them to disconnect right before the entity can take them. Or they disconnect because I downed them at the exit gate. It's getting to the point I'm just about ready to stop playing all together. How hard would it be for a body of a survivor who disconnects to not disappear and stay on the killer's shoulder? Or hook?

Maybe if they balanced the game a bit better to where solo survivors had a decent shot at the game I’d say it might stop or at least slow down. I’ll be honest I’m not the best looper and neither are the random teammates I get matched up with it seems. But I don’t want to play a game where I die for you every game. It feels like that. I don’t want to come in and stare at a progress bar until I get hooked. It’s not fun for survivors. This is something you need to realize is that it’s not all about you as a killer. 4 other survivors that you’re going against are real people too, but they’re just a small piece to the puzzle the 4 man crew has to survive. Alone, you stand zero chance. Surely you must understand that. Surely you must understand that there are many reasons That when a survivor goes down He doesn’t always feel like he had a solid chance. There’s lag, ridiculous lunge attacks, broken vault hit boxes that don’t seem like a fair hit when I’ve cleared the vault, Ebony Mori’s. It’s deflating. I don’t want to come in and die for you. Straight up. It’s not fun for survivors. I find more often than not (and my Random teammates are all purple and red ranks) that killers still mow them down MOST of the time. The percentages don’t feel 50/50.

honest opinion I think killers have too much :/

I know killers want to have fun too, but it’s just not fun for survivors to stare at a progress bar and die for you every game. This is what solo feels like. Which snowballs into why killers complain about swf. Well that’s the only way. Even then swf isn’t guaranteed to work. Some killers have way too much at their disposal 🤷‍♂️ As long as you have a half a brain and a little bit of common sense anyone can be a killer. It’s too easy imo.

rude how ? are you trying to bait me again? u already caused the bars on the picture.

I’m not baiting anything you insulted me first. I was saying matchmaking sucks as I’m red/purple rank survivor and I saw that scoreboard at the end wondering why everyone’s green and yellow lol and why the BP distribution seems so poor survivor wise. That a killer can do horrible and end up with the same amount of BP at the end. Rarely do I ever see killers with less BP even though everyone made it out. Why the game gives killers ez downs due to lag or ebony Mori’s without having to work for them? Baby ranks... pssshh.

  • Hmm you seem rude @1MillionPalletsToGo

must explain why you have bars on your account picture

  • @1MillionPalletsToGo said:

lmao at having sympathy for baby-mode. are you purple rank or higher as killer by any chance??

  • DCC52799-BA8D-4838-84E4-5FA71F8025DD.jpeg

It just sucks because I play games and they usually end up like this here in the photo I attached. I mean, look at that broken scoreboard. Killers got it way too easy and the bp is sad for survivors. It’s worse for those that get tunneled and face camped. You wonder why people disconnect. And this game punishes you for it. This game posted was a billy that basically Billy’d out and then billy’d back when the guy got unhooked (another form of tunneling)

we got the gens done down to 2 left, he stomped on hatch and I had nowhere to go because I can’t open gates faster than he can billy chainsaw his way around the map 😂 it’s whatever. I don’t think this games very fun to hold down a button and stare at a progress bar to repair gens until I become someone’s 4K every game. Nahhh. DC penalty? Nah, I don’t like that. Makes it more frustrating to play a game that’s even more frustrating. I consider this to be a killer sided game for sure. Where are these sweaty SWF teams at? I don’t have these magical Houdini gen rushing teammates ever playing solo 😂

  • @xTalon32 said:

So what are you saying? You want SWF easy mode for solo? Or do you want SWF to be just as difficult as solo?

Are you killer or survivor? The community is pretty divided on the subject.

As far as facts are concerned though - SWF is incredibly unfair to killers due to communication. However, if people couldn't play with their friends, most people would quit. There have been solutions and workarounds suggested, but the reality is that if ANY of them are introduced to the game SWF players or killers would be furious with it. SWF would complain about any advantage to the killer, and killers would complain that it didn't do anything to balance the game.

Long and short of it is SWF is broken yes, but nearly impossible to balance without major flak from the community.

I don’t even understand why people complain about swf when killers are OP too. Solo It’s not 50/50 on the escapes that’s for sure - more like 90/10 with 10% being escapes. 100% dying on the smaller maps 😂 Trapper needs a nerf. Speed and amount of traps seem excessive. I use lithe and I turn around he’s right behind me again. Legion, I use lithe and turn around he’s gone (inside I’m like hehehe juked!) but then when I look forward again he is actually so fast he’s in front of me actually outrunning my Lithe burst. It’s just not that serious their speed needs to be that high. I get it you’re gonna say get good, but nahh. I don’t really think this game is survivor sided. Even with sweaty SWF opponents I think if people are smart enough to avoid loops and get those ez downs it’s just not fun for survivors most of the time. Then they want to have this DC penalty, well... I think at that point if you’re not going to let me have fun with the game and actually play without seeing a teammate go down 15 seconds into spawning in then I don’t know how that wouldn’t cause a surge in uninstalls. Because I don’t want to go in and be some cocky killers 4K every game. I understand survivors don’t need to escape to Pip. But that’s part of the fun. You gotta remember survivors don’t get as much BP as killers do unless killers are really bad. So it makes you feel like you wasted your time. I don’t expect killers to lay down for me every game but they don’t have to, they just need to be slowed down a bit just like they nerfed toolboxes and buffed Doctor. You’re gonna keep giving killers buffs? Yeah okay. Chases are fun too, but a lot of these killers cut chases so short it’s not fun 🤨 why was the killer a mile behind me and still smacks me through the vault even though I’ve already made progress in the next direction? Why should I come in and stare at a progress bar or myself on a hook? I think survivors need more to do and slow killers down a bit. It’s a bit much they spawn on a survivor and get their down 10-15 seconds into the game and there’s always a hook convenient for them. That’s kinda ridiculous.

Thank you, i understand your opinion now. Because you are playing in green and purple (survivor solo queue not swf?) you feel that the game is pretty balanced.

You also mentioned that you played killer in brown ranks recently. You got a couple of 4ks and worked your way up a bit.

The reason many people, especially red rank players, are disagreeing with you is that the game is red ranks is basically the inverted version of brown ranks. Survivors dominate killers very often and only a few killers are able to vs an experienced swf team.

This... is a lie. Unless by now it’s all teams of communicating 4 that’s the only way I see this happening. Solo it’s like 4 games out of 5 you’re dead. Lucky if you get hatch because I swear every killer has these locations memorized and Seems like they hook the last guy right next to it somehow every single time 😡

  • @Dreamnomad said:

Work your way up to rank 1 as a killer without using what you feel is your top 5 killers. Then come back and let us all know how balanced killers are.

im a rank 5 survivor I play against red rank killers all the time. I play solo though and I don’t see myself making it out 75% of the time. I think the high mobility killers like billy and spirit... even legion if he’s built right are just too much. I firmly believe this game killers do not need one hit downs handed to them like this game does. They should have to work harder for it. Billy can rev his chainsaw up too fast and recover really quickly. It’s just way harder to play on some of these smaller maps. Gens need to be spread out more and cover needs to be better. Paper thin walls, vaults inside of walls that are like 2 feet wide in either direction. Crappy hit detection as I’m getting blasted by the killer after I’ve Vaulted and taken a few steps already the killer has impeccable melee range. It’s like they can lunge through the vaults. Not everyone is a pro looper and for that everyone suffers? Nah, that’s just not fun imo. Some killers seem more balanced than others. Idk if it’s necessary for killers like ghost face to be sprinting and pummeling survivors at the same time. Or legion. Every time I SEE legion he’s going so fast he’s sprinting past me. I just don’t think killer speed needs to be that fast. You got huntress running around with 3 one shot iridescent when paired with infantry belt. You got billy flying across the map over and over. Spirit too. And you got newbies in here crying about survivors having so many chances? Okay can they make it so killers have a harder time finding people then or go down to nonsense?

  • i just don’t see it as a 50/50 kinda game in terms of surviving/dying. It’s not. It’s lopsided 🤷‍♂️

  • Killers need some stuff taken away or reworked so the game slows down a bit. They already nerfed toolboxes into oblivion so it requires a lot more teamwork to get stuff done. It just sucks playing solo trying to take your time and enjoy all that the game has to offer doing totems and opening chests when you literally don’t have time to do that when the killer gets his first down 10-15 seconds into spawning in almost every single game. Tbh I think it’s too easy for killers to find survivors and some of it has to do with gens being too close together and lack of cover, knee high crates/debris, skinny trees. It’s too easy to patrol gens on some of these smaller maps and some of these killers are just too high mobility billy and spirit being prime examples. if you aren’t a coordinated team that can keep an eye on and tell the team where the killer is at all times then it’s just unplayable.

  • @Cardgrey said:

@mouse0270 cant speak for anyone else but if you ds me I’m tunneling you out of the game just the way I do it lol

It’s nothing to get angry about, you shouldn’t be getting easy downs and hooks but this game allows it and forces the survivor to use a perk in order to fight back. You saying “tunneling you out of the game” just says something about how killers are in this game. DS needs a buff so you have a harder time finding the guy that used it 🤷‍♂️ 0 scratch marks, longer stun duration, stuff like that.

  • @Shocktober said:

The doors should not spawn in ways that you can see both from standing in one spot, but there's plenty of doors where it's almost a free escape for the survivor if you don't have whispers. The meat plant doors come to mind, where it's optimal to just sit on one and let the killer find the hatch. Hawkins and Lery's are also really bad for this.

It’s not a free escape because survivors did all of their objectives already. They did their job to get that escape. Or the hatch got stomped on. It’s fair.

  • @Shocktober said:

What rank do you play at? It is incredibly uncommon to see people hit half on first hook at high ranks, because if there is a risk of it, someone is probably going to hook bomb with BT.

It is typical for me in my red rank killer games to start the match off by immediately finding someone, downing them in like 20 seconds, and having the first gen pop by the time they are on the hook.

You definitely cannot be missing swings against a really good survivor, because even one miss can let them make it to the next pallet, extending the chase by potentially minutes if there is a nasty setup nearby. So you would have to immediately drop the chase because of that missed swing. Plenty of good survivors will bait out swings by running towards vaults / pallets and then suddenly changing direction, costing you extra loops you might not be able to afford.

My buddy’s rank 3 and I’m rank 5 survivor. My rank fluctuates. But yeah I see red rank killers all the time. I have red and purple rank survivors on my team every single game. I get it, I really do. But I don’t think some of the killers really require much. They cushion the heck out of the abilities, add ons and offerings. Each category has ultra rare that makes such a drastic impact on his ability to win. I’ve never seen so many crutch perks, abilities add ons and offerings on one character in my life than the killer. Ebony Mori, iridescent head, NOED, exposed, infinite evil within, one hit downs, extensive lunge attacks through vaults and in general . Hardest part about being a killer is literally finding people. Which they give you plenty of aura perks for that and loud noise notifications for that 😂

  • I think they need to do something about recovery time from Killer missed attacks Make it longer

  • @Booper_Of_Snoot said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1182865#Comment_1182865

But where's the logic? They played immersed, didn't help their teammates, killer killed 3 of them and got hatch, why should that survivor be rewarded for playin horribly and killer not wanting to slug for a 4k?

It’s not about rewarding anyone. Killers are practically handed kills every game if you have a little awareness and a little common sense. That’s literally all it takes. It’s too easy. There’s 8 generators, they have to do 5. you only have 12 hooks but most fall into second stage or just get Mori’d right off the hook. So it’s not really fair a lot of the time 🤷‍♂️ Killers get their toes curled and back rubbed having high mobility which allows them to make as many mistakes as they want, fast missed attack recovery time which allows them to miss as many times as they want without setting them back in the chase.

  • @yapziiiii said:

    Why would they do that?

To get the last survivor another chance to escape? To gift him for his hiding through out?

All you need to know is that when you became the last one, your possible escaping was just a dog's chance. All you should do was not hiding anymore, you should get your self a hazardous gambling, to get the hatch before the killer.

If you havent achieved that, please do nothing but accept it , accept your destiny.

Yeah it’s not always the last survivors fault that he’s the last survivor though. You can’t punish him for being last. So you’re wrong. Also, killers are really fast and some are high mobility able to traverse the entire map in seconds. Some have teleport ability. There are plenty of reasons WHY the doors should be farther apart. The killer isn’t entitled to all 4 every game just because he gets the first 3. Survivors also don’t have enough chances imo. How many games have you been a survivor where you go on the hook and the killer tunnels you and puts you back on the hook, or Mori’s you right after getting hooked? Or the fact that its SO EASY to find people and then down them if they’re caught out of position which is likely. Exposed, easy one hit downs. Survivors deserve a lot of chances in my opinion because you have a lot of abilities as a killer.

  • But no, I think killers have too much melee range as well to down me through vaults like I’ve seen practically every game. And I don’t think that’s lag. Latency affects survivors way more is my point. Wish there was something that could be done

  • Xbox not having dedicated servers have anything to do with it?

  • @JPLongstreet said:

The common response has been latency and your internet connection.

Nooo not my internet. I’m on that 120 mb/s download speed

  • Yea it kinda sucks. It’s hard to have fun when there’s so many frustrations 😭 on both sides of the game. it sucks when I insta die on 2nd stage after getting hooked once and fell into it because ppl can’t Get the rescue in time. And then to see that happen? Okay well, first of all It’s a brand new elite version 2 controller. No way is it my controller or inability to push the A button repeatedly 😂 or how the skill check dial jumps around all choppy making it impossible to do skill checks. I’m seeing my people dying out there and I’m like yoooo I can’t even do a skill check 😂 I can’t even push A? I can’t hop through a vault without going down even though the killer was a mile behind me?

  • Look, all I’m saying is It kinda sucks not feeling like it was all worth it. If you’re gonna kick me out of the match, can I get some bloodpoints at least? Early removal points? 😂 Thanks for playing points? 😂 jk I suppose.

Theres just nothing worse than the feeling you didn’t get much out of the match 😪

I think by cheating OP means skipping your objective — hooking survivors multiple times to sacrifice them.

Typically, survivors get 3 chances before they are sacrificed to the Entity, but with en Ebony Mori, that's reduced to 2 chances.

It’s 1 chance because they tunnel 😂 high mobility killers don’t allow 2 chances. You get off the hook they’re soaring across the map to put you down again before you go anywhere 😂 Idk I just think there are so many games that, when they’re not used its a close game And that makes it way more intense and enjoyable. I’d rather use the term cheating because you don’t have to hook that survivor 2 more times. You can instead kill where he/she goes down without giving the team a chance to prevent it like the hook can be prevented with sabotage. The killer has complete control uninterrupted. Uninterrupted* key word. If only there was a way to interrupt it lol besides forcing the DS stun by jumping in a locker 😂 if you have DS that is. But no it’s just offerings aren’t that empowered on survivor side. So why are they on killers side?

  • @Rivyn said:

'This guys lazy and cheated on his objectives.' What do you mean, cheated? He killed you. That's quite literally his objective. He won't pip from it, but it is by no way cheating.

Now, I agree that eboni should be changed. Personally, i'd put it after two hooks, instead of one. That way, you're only saving the trip to the hook, but that itself can be quite impactful.

Still, considering the mountain of issues DbD has, you'll let an item that you see, what, once every dozen matches, if that, push you away?

It’s cheating because objectives are 12 hooks and you’re reducing it down to 4 and tunneling for it. I’ve seen it happen many times. 5 gens don’t really get a boost from anything except brand new part which then again, regression can counter whatever progress was made. There’s nothing bringing my teammate back 😂 that’s permanent. But the next point I have is that I am a player too with equal opportunity to play the game. It shorts me out of playtime and quite frankly Bloodpoints. But I see the killer has 30K at the end of the match? Naaaahhh that’s ridiculous 😂

I do agree mori needs a nerf. They should be 2 hook moris. Or one hook moris, but a way that stops it if they get tunneled. Maybe put like a 2 minute delay for a post-hook mori or something.

No just hook everyone once first and then you can Mori whoever. But you have to get everyone first. It’s just ridiculous. When there’s no communication and you’re playing by yourself it can just be so sad. I kinda want to put it down and uninstall the game. It’s just not that serious. What you have to understand as a survivor it’s already not fun doing generators holding down one button and pushing another button every once in awhile for a skill check all-the-while looking at a progress bar that takes forever with dying light, thanat or ruin/PoP if killers are good at patrolling. But at some point he’s gonna catch you and hook you. Rarely all 5 get done without getting caught 😂 so what you’re telling me is that An ebony allowing only 4 hooks equal 5 gens? I don’t think so. Sounds rigged. They also have iridescent and infantry belt that lets huntress have 3 one shot ranged attacks. Excessive. I mean, you can’t always dodge 😂 especially with the lag and choppy hit boxes. I’m not sure I want to come in and get these messages from killers saying it was “EZ” whatever man. Solo play is just not fun. Killers have to work harder than that. Yet they whine over gen speed, noooo way. Gen speed when you can at any point turn the momentum in your favor from an offering, an add on OR a perk? Where’s my OP offering? Where’s my offering that says if a teammate was Mori’d you can insta complete the next gen you see? Where’s that huh? Sheesh.

  • I guess it’s not the game for me 🤷‍♂️ It needs a rework though that’s just unacceptable to not only die that fast but leave with so few points. My thing is, you don’t want to do that to your fans 🤷‍♂️ I love the game but that’s unacceptable. Get good all you want, But I don’t want to Avoid the killer 😂 it’s a game that is ALL about the interactions between the two. But eventually they’ll down you. After that it’s screw you? Okay.

  • Wheres my insta gen complete to trade off for the insta teammate death? That’s ridiculous. It also shorts teammates points. I guess it doesn’t matter what I say, but it’s kinda deflating to play when the killer is inevitably going to catch someone. Offerings don’t need to be that lethal. They have plenty of good add ons.

Not to mention, ruin kept newbie survivors where they belonged. In yellow ranks. It was not coincidence that red ranks swelled with survivors who cant loop or hit a great skill check shortly after the nerf.

When deathslinger came out que times improved. Just further supports theres nothing wrong with MM, no one wants to play killer cause its more frustrating than fun. Now that the hype died down, survivors are back to 20 min que times. If your que times are that bad it should be a ######### slap of truth one side is under powered.

killers are not as underpowered as you think, you just need to have better map control. Get good as they say :)

it’s odd you mention Ruin as though it sounds like you rely on it. That’s what a newbie would say 😂 it’s almost As if it were a crutch. Because it is... It’s a perk that doesn’t need to be any better than it currently is imo. It does it’s job. Why don’t you do your job and keep people off gens?

  • As for the key, well. There is a thing called 3 gen‘ing yourself. Where it actually might be impossible to do the last gen because you as a killer can patrol them so easily and regress whatever progress was made on it so much that it doesn’t make it fun to even remotely do. I don’t want to stare at a damn progress bar anymore than everyone else does I’m sure. Why shouldn’t there be an extra way to escape when you’re at a stalemate with the killer?

  • Ebony Mori’s are straight up cheating imo. If you get gen rushed I firmly believe it’s either a map issue (too big for your particular killer) or you’re just bad 😂

This is my thing, where is my “Ultra rare” offering as a survivor that lets me insta complete a gen since you feel it’s okay to insta kill a survivor every time they get hooked once? Personally I think it should be all survivors hooked once before ANY survivor can be Mori’d. That sounds a bit more fair.

No sorry Keys are a problem as are Moris. They are a literally a survivor mori. Unlike Mori's they require no skill you dont even need to touch the objective to escape. I'm sorry the team was so bad that you all failed yes this includes the person who brings in or finds a key. This includes YOU. Math is cool, but we can do the same for a killer trying to find a ebony or ivory amongst all the perks and addons.

I'm sorry I just don't agree that a survivor can reopen a hatch after 4 survivors have failed to completely failed to do 5 gens, you've failed to find hatch first, and you are failing to open a door. If a killer happens to earn the 4K and a single item can negate a good game. Then how is that fair that a free escape is earned from a person who actually tried and won.

I also think Moris are completely BS as well because they rob survivors of having a chance.

Also I'm not a minority when I say Keys are completely BS as are Moris. You want to pretend there not fine cool, but they are just as broken as a mori.

Moris are more of a problem. Keys are an alternate escape which should be in every game like this. How come Jason from F13 has 7 counselors to deal with rather than 4 and he has to stop them from escaping 5 different ways instead of 2? Yet you complain 😡😡 that makes me angry. Lazy killers. Mori’s do not equal keys because Mori’s give you a shortcut on the 12 hooks down to 4 hooks. That does not equal 5 gens AT ALL. That’s lopsided. Now it is possible to avoid the ebony Mori but not likely in most games I’ve played solo. It’s not really that fun being your 4K every game nor is it fun to hold a button down on a generator and stare at a progress bar. I grow tired of seeing people complain about being a killer when it’s actually more frustrating on the survivor side due to lag, inevitable chases with the killer (which just get you kicked out after she catches up to you just once? Hell no! That’s unfair)

the KEY REQUIRES SURVIVORS TO DO ALL OF THEIR OBJECTIVES STILL WHEREAS THE KILLER DOESNT HAVE TO. THE SURVIVORS DONT EVEN SEE THE HATCH UNLESS ALL 5 GENERATORS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. OR AT LEAST FOR EVERY ONE THAT HAS DIED THE NUMBER OF GENS REQUIRED DECREASES BY 1

Certain maps you will just lose. That's just part of the game at this point, unfortunately, due to poor map design on the part of the devs. But tactics you can use:

Slowdown perks like Pop and Corrupt, and Ruin on certain killers that can get players off of gens like Billy and Oni

3 gen strats are more necessary now than ever. Play certain gens in a cluster, drop chase if they go too far outside of the area that the gens are in.

The biggest one that no one has mentioned: Slugging. Slugging is the most powerful tool for game delay a killer has right now, imo. If you see a second survivor right after you've downed the first, chase the second. This reduces the available survivors on gens from 3 to 1, as you'll be in the chase with the one you saw, and someone has to leave a gen to go pick up a slug. If you're down in the game, picking up survivors when another is in easy chaseable range is losing momentum.

Certain maps survivors will just lose because they cram 8 generators into a small area with a fast killer 🤷‍♂️

  • Why would anyone want to stare at a progress bar longer? Please stop complaining about getting gen rushed. I’ve had games where I’ve been ran on by a killer just as fast. Killers have Moris. Your complaints about gen speed are growing old. How about they take away Mori’s? How is it fair to come in and reap 30K BP while you kick someone out the game in less than minutes?

  • I’ll have to agree. Lithe is the most useful. Although one thing I think needs to be changed is hitboxes at vaults. I don’t think killers should be able to get a hit on you if you’re already through the vault and in forward motion towards your next destination. It’s kind of consistent how many times I’ll have my feet planted on the ground of the other side of a vault and as soon as I take my first step after that I get pummeled into the ground and the killer hasn’t vaulted or went around. I honestly don’t think the killer should be able to hit you at all through vaults. If he can’t get the grab then he needs to go around the 1 foot wide wall on either side of the vault 😂 it’s just ridiculous. So many times I’ve just felt deflated because killers get unfair hits off on me. This is exactly why I think getting hooked shouldn’t be a big deal therefore Mori’s need to be changed. It’s too easy to find people 😂 so it’s not that serious to have any ebony Mori. That’s Someone’s time queueing up for that match your messing with.
