No, he isn't.
He is either trolling or arguing for the sake or arguing.
As I pointed out to him, if someone argues the sky is blue, and his response is "No the sky isn't green it's blue" how can it be seen as anything other than trolling.
It's funny you think disliking being a toxic rude awful person is a troll.
-
It's a survivor buff because the devs are seeing how fast they can kill the game. Only guess I can give. I wonder where we'll be by end of December. Already at a 30% drop in steam users since August.
-
"Why do people hate rude nasty people?" really pondering the questions of the ages here
-
Just don't play killer until after the event. It's literally just a temporary survivor buff event.

Not the same thing.
Is to me, sorry. But going by your posts in other threads, it's pretty obvious why think it's okay and make excuses for it. Not much more to talk about here.
-
Otz is also objectively proven wrong by the comp scene as mentioned earlier on in the thread. Unless Otz thinks he's better than comp players despite me being unable to find videos of Otz ever facing comp teams.

That is a different issue. Hacking is cheating and ruins the entire game. Not the same.
It doesn't for me? I don't care if there's a hacker in my game. It's so rare it barely happens. And again, it's in every game. Legit if you dislike hackers, try single player offline games. See I can be dismissive about issues that bother you but don't affect me. Fun, huh? I'd MUCH rather deal with hackers every 5 or so matches over tbagging children every game. Hackers exist in every game so if you expect people to just deal with BM I don't see why you shouldn't be expected to deal with hackers especially when it hasn't affected me at all as I never see them. Your posts issue is you basically are lacking empathy and are incapable of seeing why for some reason. Don't expect anyone to have empathy for your issues in return is all.

Game is unplayable for Twins since every validation kills Victor and it only takes one to lose the game.

Doesn't wear me down at all. I just don't care what some stranger thinks of me. Let them t-bag and flashlight click all they want. I personally never do anything toxic as killer or survivor. That's just not how I like to play. If someone gets that offended over a game, then they shouldn't be playing (especially online games).
I don't really care if some hacker flies around my matches, doesn't make the hacker issue okay. If people can't handle hackers, they shouldn't be playing online games. Can't name one without them.
-
Otz lost it when he decided to say Freddy was bottom 5, sorry.

@StarLost said:
Yup.
I very recently quit the game, primarily because I ran into incredibly BM survivor groups that eventually got under my skin.
I'm not just talking about the obnoxious teabag/flicky flicky types - I'm talking about full TTV SWFs with a smurfed down MMR who will 99% the last gen, stall the match out indefinitely with sabos, flashlights and perks and then report you (when you finally AFK out) for 'non-participation'.
That said - judging by the responses these threads always get, there are a lot of survivor players who derive their enjoyment from making killer players miserable. These same players will turn around and tell you that it's actually your fault for being miserable, that 'this is just the internet, man up' and other such tidbits of wisdom.
I've had multiple groups tell me in postgame that their primary goal is to get killer players to uninstall. I even had one saying that he hopes he manages to give someone a seizure with a flashlight macro.
These are the people you are dealing with here - and you may as well try to dig holes in water.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2680315#Comment_2680315
I'm...oddly unsurprised to see you defending ingame toxicity.
And no. The blame for acting like this is on the chuds trying to spoil another player's experience by gloating on them (which is essentially disrespecting the effort they put in) - not the people who have their experiences spoiled.
I don't care if you've got an armadillo hide - this crap wears you down. If it doesn't, it just makes you numb (which isn't a good thing either).
You may never fix all ingame toxicity, but you can damned well fix a lot of it. The League of Legends example is the best one I can think of - one of the most poisonous communities of all time. Once Tribunal was introduced, something like 80% of the toxic players reformed after a simple 'you've been reported in a lot of games recently, shape up or you'll get banned' warning.
You need to understand anyone who defends this stuff pretty much is guaranteed to do it themselves. You wouldn't convince me otherwise. So no surprise they react almost angrily to the idea of punishment.
-
Around the time the devs balanced the game around hold w, drop pallet, and made looping inefficient in comparison to that. I'd like the game to return to being more skilled for survivor but right now a 5 hour newbie can run a 2000 hour clown for ages by simply running to every single pallet and dropping it.

When you're losing it's buffing one survivors healing a bunch so dying light is worse in that it actively harms you.

They should but that isn't how the game is designed and it's clear it's not how the devs want the game to work.

NOED either can be countered before the fifth gen is done, or the killer is playing with 3 perks until end-game. One or the other.
Because if you're demanding that survivors do five totems before fifth gen, that means NOED is a slow-down perk that is active during regular gameplay, no different from, say, Thanatophobia and Dying Light.
If the killer, who only has 3 perks until the end, exerted so much pressure on the match that you couldn't do 5 totems, then they probably did actually deserve those kills at the end of the game.
Unless it's solo queue and there's up to four survivors trying to do up to five totems without any means of communicating who is doing totems, where, and how many are already destroyed in which places. Those five totems are a TON of extra time, so it's really not hard for a killer to apply enough pressure to make doing five totems difficult, if not impossible.
Hell, you can stand under your first hook and you've already succeeded at doing exactly that, with literally zero effort.
The fact that NOED demands a massive investment into its supposed counter before it is declared is already bad enough, but its overreliance on cooperation between survivors that are not supposed to be able to coordinate this counter makes 'do bones' the most short-sighted and ill-thought-out response to NOED complaints possible.
NOED needs a rework.
Again, the killer is bad so what is the issue? Why can't you do 5 totems vs a bad killer? Or are you saying good killers shouldn't be able to win with NOED because they just shouldn't?
-
Soon as the tutorial tells survivors to not be BMers who click and tbag. So, sometime after never ever.

People dont like to spend money these days... She is very fun and quite easy killer. Everyone should try her.
Well she is an OC killer so she can just be bought with shards. And honestly even if they don't play the new killer, I assume most people buy the DLC so they can unlock the perks. I don't play Blight ever, or Hag, but I sure wanted their perks. You can wait on the shrine but at minimum it's going to be like half a year.
-
I'm just not playing killer at all. Especially with the horrible performance some of us have had since the patch dropped. Killer is frustrating enough. Killer with 20 frame drops upon swinging an m1 or hitting a Nem tentacle or something is actually unplayable. However I have played survivor as the lag is less of a hinderance there, and I have barely seen any Artists. The few I did see didn't get kills. Despite that, I expect nerfs.
-
No.

@Pulsar said:
Not a counter, just helps make the counter easier. But it's still totally ridiculous to expect Solo Q players to cleanse 5 totems.
NOED needs some changes. Before people come at me with pitchforks, note how I did not say nerf.
Why? Isn't the issue with NOED that it's not fair because bad killers get kills they shouldn't? If the killer, who only has 3 perks until the end, exerted so much pressure on the match that you couldn't do 5 totems, then they probably did actually deserve those kills at the end of the game. If they were the super bad killer most people say a NOED user is, then the match should have been easy enough to get 5 totems. Unless the survivors were just trying to get out ASAP and simply decided to rush despite a bad killer. Which in that case, is entirely their fault. "You can't expect solo survivors to not be terrible!" why?
-
Nothing anymore. They just really wanted him in game just to say he was in game.
-
It's pretty much just survivors trying to condition you to give them free games.
-
It's a win more perk for the most part and also extremely unimpactful for the requirements.

That is the general assumption from the outside in, and why the forums have become sort of a meme. Similar to Reddit.

I told you why in my previous answer.
So, just because. Ok. Again, don't cry when people face camp you. Probably shouldn't cry about hacks or exploits either. You can just DC to avoid them after all. It's sad that "You should deal with it because." is the prevailing feeling here. You should be able to ruin peoples games because...you want to. Unless you're doing it to win like camping or tunneling. Then it's bad because...you're ruining someones game?
If you want to be an awful person to people, go ahead. Don't tell others they need to like it or accept it, as it's a waste of time and no one is required to.

it only takes 2 seconds to push survivors out.
You didn't answer why they should be forced to. Because you want to be rude to people? Don't cry when you get into matches with face camping Bubbas and Pigs blocking jigsaw boxes then.

push the survivors out if you want the game to end idk why that's so hard to do.

I really wonder how old some of the players are. It also annoys me, but just ignore it. But thats the real power of DbD. It goes into your head way more than it should i think therefore its so successful.
Probably older than people who believe appeasement and letting bullies exist is the way to go. Honestly it just sounds like laziness, and again, "We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas." I legit must assume anyone posting "Ugh just ignore it!" does it themselves.
-
If someone is AFK, I'll hit them and wait a few seconds to see if they come back. If they do, I'll allow them to get a head start before pursuing them. If they don't, I'll down them and hook them. If they are AFK so long crows have started to notify me, they're getting hooked solely to rid myself of the crow notifications. No killer has to do any of that, though nor should be expected to.
-
In its current state? Unfun.
-
I believe anyone who refuses to tunnel regardless of circumstance is, at the very least, not as good as someone who will tunnel if the situation calls it. You aren't good because you willingly throw matches for an honor code. The game doesn't give special MMR points for that.
-
I think the buff it got was incredibly undeserved and I heavily disagree with the trend of buffing already powerful perks, but I have no issue with the perk, really.

So are DS and BT. Perks that are useless unless the killer plays scummy.
I'd ask why you're getting downed again in 60 seconds. You should be able to run the killer longer if you're good.
-
every new killer will be nerfed so that survivors can spend more time making threads titled "I've been waiting for 10 minutes in queue. Does anyone play this game?" and "Blight blight blight spirit blight blight spirit nurse....is there anything else?!"
Artist, if anything, needs QoL changes to make her power feel more smooth to use and less clunky and unresponsive. She certainly does not need nerfs. I am extremely irritated with this mindset that if a killer is strong in 1v1 and encourages W holding, they must be nerfed. My issue with that is the devs are intentionally designing these characters like this. It's not an error, oversight, unintended thing. That is the design idea from the drawing board. So you can't just nerf that unless you entirely redo the character like they did to old Fred. Or you just kill the character like slinger. But if you're going to kill every killer who is strong 1v1 anti loop, maybe stop intentionally making them? The disconnect between the devs and the playerbase is so large we may as well be from different planets.
-
It's an unpaid job, essentially. Having your players play the enemy role is cheaper than developing an AI.
-
Simply allow killers to opt out of playing against SWFs/let them see if it's a swf. Simple fix but for some reason people who SWF are against it.
Once again "we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas!"

Find a new game to play? That's how killers are designed. It's not an accident or oversight.

It is annoying but survivors surviving sometimes is what keeps this game going. I kill plenty of them so the ones that got away deserved it unless they were cheating.
Rather the game die then have a design where survivors are meant to win because of some nebulous corporate policy or something.
Really I just wish survivor mains would stop trying to gaslight about deadhard not being bugged despite mountains of video evidence.

Either lying or being facetious. You all do want 4k every game. Any perk that helps survivors not die immediately is considered completely broken, no matter how effective it may actually be in practice.
You are the one ignoring skill. If survivor better than killer, survivor should win chase. Smart killer goes for weaker prey. If killer is better, he should get a quick hook and move on. In fact, survivor skill already means less, because you just have to pick off the weaker survivors until it no longer matters how good the survivor wins. EGC completely nullifies the survivor's skill in the end if you pick off all his friends. Luck determines who finds hatch first, and whether the gates are close enough to guarantee killer victory.
The game is already heavily in killer's favor. It's why perks like BT and DS even exist. Because it's very easy to down trash survivors and leave the good ones screwed, unable to do anything except go do inevitably, sooner or later.
My guy out here saying killers all want 4k's, but then stating he thinks if he feels he is good enough he should always be able to outrun the killer forever lmao.
Meanwhile survivors need something to ensure they have a way to escape the killer because "You aren't supposed to 4k every time even if you are better." lmao You also keep defending holding W and saying it's like a good thing and people shouldn't complain, but then, do you actually consider yourself skillful if the killer gives up because he can't catch you holding W across red forest?

Im glad we finally got a new killer that can compete on high mmr.
Build is use: Hex plaything, Hex: pentimento, scourged hook: Pain resonance and Tinkerer. Its very powerfull with a decent amount of map/tile knowledge.
Not only is this build amazing or her abilitie to counter loops easily, but we can finally play the game without the perks (like ruin/pop/etc) that have been dominating for a while.
Plz BHVR, dont nerf her!
What high MMR survivors are out there doing bones in this day and age?
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Yeah, they clearly hate the side which did receive a lot of Buffs over the last 5 years and favor the side which gets nerfed for 5 years. CoH is the first Perk which is actually Meta after the release of David. Clearly, shows how much they favor Survivors.
I would not even compare Hexes and Boons, the only thing which they have in common is that they have some glowing flame at a Totem. And thats it. Hexes dont need to be build up for 14 seconds like Boons, Hexes are not heard from miles away, Hexes work map-wide.
I am pretty sure they will nerf Boons at some point, but please at least dont complain about Survivors running the same Perks all the time if you shoot against that one Perk that made people change their Builds.
When you release a game so broken you leave editable saves on peoples harddrive, you do indeed need to spend a lot of time fixing it. Shocking.

Don't DC, the penalty's just going to keep going up and you lose more time than if you just open the damn gate as soon as it's possible.
If you send me somewhere miserable and bad for whoever I'm playing and start tryharding, I'm just going to become a scenery feature. There, there's the win you're trying so hard for. Are super easy wins fun? Because you can have one.
Force quitting the program during a match loading won't trigger a DC penalty because the game never started. You'll just lose your offering and possibly add ons. Personally, I have gotten constant map offerings but it's not haddonfield. It's almost always Ormond or Red forest.
