Have they already forgotten about the Killswitch?
The new map Eyrie is full of buggy collision (painful for Blight just like swamp), it has spots where a survivor can get stuck on the vines and be unable to move, and the now well-known body-blockable hook, and a host of other issues.
We were told that the whole point of the killswitch was to allow them to quickly take down maps and other things if needed; clearly Eyrie is not quite finished, so why is it not killswitched? And the same goes for Dead Hard, which with hit validation wrongfully stops half a dozen killer powers.

They probably don't want the negative stigma of disabling a brand new map... you know, like the time just before this one. ๐
Then why make a killswitch? The entire idea of it is a negative stigma.
Asking the wrong guy my dude.
Pretty sure the kill switch is for gamebreaking bugs.
Never heard of the getting stuck in vines but i assume you are loose when the killer downs you so it doesn't break the game.
Same for the hook. Sucks for that one survivor but not really different from being facecamped by a Bubba.
Same for dead hard. For as annoying as it is you can still play the game to completion even after getting your power eaten a 100 times in a game.
If being hooked in the new map basement caused the survivors to drop through the map or if opening the exit gates caused it to crash then the kill switch would be used
I haven't seen any of those problems with this map so far. As long as these cases are in the minority, I don't think they would use the killswitch on it.
Fun fact: the ability to disable maps from the backend has been in the game from well before the killswitch and had been used occasionally.
For the rest, rpd was disabled more than it's been in rotation. The devs probably don't want the same kind of publicity with back-to-back new maps.
Blight is still in the game with all his exploits so yeah. They forgot how to killswitch
The devs have said the killswitch is only used for game breaking abusable bugs (key word being game breaking) and bugs that cause the game to crash.
In other words, they won't disable this map.
