A normal chase, without Dead Hard lasts about 45 seconds, that's 56.25% worth of Generator time. If the Survivor wiggles off, the Killer has to waste about 15-30 seconds again, depending on if the Survivor plays well or not. That's, 1 minute or more, which is 75% of a Generator. If wiggling off only requires 1 extra Survivor, that's 2 Generators about to pop.
If wiggling off required 2 Survivors, then only a single Generator would've been about to pop, which would be more fair, as when 2 or more Survivors decide to sabotage Hooks and take hits, the Killer can't do anything about it other than dropping the Survivor, which will lead to a quick pick up later on
Putting all those made up numbers aside, with 0 basis, just everything you explain is absurd. I have prevented hooks by myself, several times, just bodyblocking/ wiggling around the hook, dodging hit then bodyblocking the hook hitbox again (sometimes I had breakout, sometimes I didn't) and generally blocking the way for the killer.
Are you saying this shouldn't be possible by, let's say, teleporting me out of the way so I can't prevent a hook by myself? I don't understand what your point is now that "it should require 3 survivors".
Do you even play this game? I'm starting to wonder lol

"I represent normal people, I'm the voice and the authority of 99% of the playerbase. I hereby declare, based on my much more limited experienced compared to you, somebody with triple my experience, that the real issue this game has is Deadhard"

You're not supposed to wiggle off on your own, or even in a 2man.
The amount of time wiggling off wastes is so huge, that you should at least require 3 Survivors to do so
... Or 1 survivor, or 2. Depends on the circumstances. what an absurd statement.
-
Blight, very difficult to control for me, but also just generally all of him. Boring, uninspired, I don't like him.
Nurse, repetitive, gets dull and boring very quickly. Once you get the hang of how she works, every match is literally the same. People overestimate how much skill you need to play her, and how difficult she is to control, to justify an absurd design.
Deathslinger, I'm not a huge fan of firearms in general, so maybe that's why.
Trickster, I can't stand the sounds he makes, the giggling and music are obnoxious.
Artist: Again, the sounds she makes. Just no. Also, very cheesy power.
The rest is sort of ok, depends on my mood.
-
No.
-
That's why Saboing and Boil Over are virtually useless. And that's why Boil Over was virtually useless even when it got that huge buff. There is literally 300 hooks every 2 meters.

Same could be said for Twins or Hag. They're not designed to camp/slug.
Hag is designed protect a specific area, and Twins are designed to be used as a team and harass multiple Survivors at the same time
Can Victor pickup? Then, Twins by pure core design, slugs. It is absolutely necessary to slug as Twins, and it's up to you to decide how much you will slug. But if you -must- slug by design, why wouldn't you go all the way and play exactly how the developers intended you to?
Same as Hag. Slow, requires setup, it is widely known (maybe you just don't play too much) once a Hag hooks someone she will -always- camp or patrol the hook.
"The Hag player decides if they camp or not, like other killers"
Yeah, but because her very design heavily favours camping, you will naturally gravitate towards that.
Let's discuss anything we like, but let's not fall for hypocrisy.

So we're back to you calling efficient play toxic, lovely
If you repeat yourself, I'm being forced to repeat myself too:
Get out of your own fantasy. I said you can be efficient and toxic, and efficient and not toxic. Example: A Billy might tunnel or camp in specific moments, or all the time, but it's not ingrained in his very design. Twins, by design (just like Hag, designed to - and encouraged to camp) are specifically designed to play in the most unhealty way possible, slugging and camping (and encourages tunnelling). So yes, it is very possible to be efficient and not toxic.
Maybe it is your personal style to always be toxic regardless of how efficient you are being, but that's just you.

Victor, if I remember correctly, is counted as a projectile, or at least has a projectile hit-box. He's not a Killer, he's a Killer Power, so Huntress and Artist are slug-based Killers, since they can down Survivors from afar but can't pick them up, same as Twins.
I don't think we'll get anywhere. It seems like you have a specific agenda (or just don't know what they're designed to do) against Hag and Twins, so it doesn't matter what I say
A projectile is something you throw, and it follows a trajectory by its own inertia. As far as I know, Victor is something you can freely walk with, control, attack or not with, simply follow.
Victor =/ projectile
Huntress and Bird Lady do in fact, use projectiles. Unlike Twins, that we already established, don't use projectiles, as Victor isn't a projectile, but a whole separate fully in control entity. So Victor is both a killer power, and a whole killer by itself, with certain limits.
I don't have a "specific agenda" against Hag or Twins, other than I think they're very unhealthy for the game and it encourages very toxic playstyles. Doesn't mean every killer can't camp or aren't good at it, but at least they're not specifically designed for it.
We shouldn't have killers designed around the most toxic mechanics in this game.

Can your Dire Crows pick Survivors up? No? Then Artist is a slug-based Killer.
Can Hatchets pick Survivors up? No? Then Huntress is a slug-based Killer.
Hag has a slow start and is a setup based Killer, and Trapper aswell. Is Trapper a camp-based Killer aswell?
Is Bubba a camp-based Killer just because he's good at it? Trickster too?
Can you show me a clip of how you become the hatchet? Do you count your birds as another killer with its own identity? As far as I know Victor isn't a piece of wood but a whole separate killer integrated within Charlot when you're not activeling using him? Maybe you have the ability to turn into objects? Are you sure you're not playing Propnight?
Trapper: Lots of camping potential especially in hooks placed indoor with narrow hallways or doorways, less than Hag because of how his power is more passive in terms of trap activating as opposed to Hag physically teleporting herself. Absolutely encourages camping to a lesser degree. Watch some videos if you don't play enough to know this.
Trickster: His very power mechanics excels when a survivor is locked in an animation because you're not punished by the spread of your knives as much, hence you miss less, hence when a survivor is either close in the open (As happens when someone is attempting to unhook) or locked in the unhook animation, he can be a very effective camper. Again, doesn't mean he is specifically designed to camp unlike Hag or Twins.
Bubba: Same as trickster. His power makes him a very effective camper. Doesn't mean he's necessarily designed to camp unlike Hag and Twins.
-
- Killer is stressful and not fun to play. I would agree killer is stressful and unfun, until you learn how to play the game and it becomes somewhat boring and repetitive. Especially if you play broken killers, it always results in a 4k. You can of course, always win and it still is stressful and not fun. This might be the case for killers indeed.
- Solo queue is unplayable. Add to stressful and unfun, the fact you will most likely always lose in higher mmr.
- Gens speed: Yeah no. If a single more second is added to the already boring, dull, repetitive task of repairing, I can see myself unable to ever going into another match again as survivor. It's very close to the tipping point of unbearable.
The grind, mmr, devotion rewards... The thing is. Behaviour has actively neglected fixing core issues and balance inconsistencies in favour of unrelenting new content release and cosmetics for cash. They have gone on a sort of feral frenzy festival of pushing out content, in many occasions bugged and broken (Twins release, hello) showing literally 0 concern or appreciation for the very people that support the game for years now. If they genuinely cared about the game and the players supporting them, they would slow down, take whatever number of months necessary, stop releasing new DLCS, and Fix. The. Game. Issues. That. Have. Been. Here. For. Almost. Six. Years. Now.

Camping, tunneling and slugging are the most efficient playstyles in the game, and those are what you define as toxic, so no, playing efficiently and non-toxic is, by your definition, impossible
Get out of your own fantasy. I said you can be efficient and toxic, and efficient and not toxic. -
Pretty much this.
Solo queue, don't even think about it.
Killer, if you're into sweaty tunnelling tryharding and that satisfies you, maybe. Otherwise no.
SWF: If you happen to have 3 competent sweaty friends, then your chances to have fun dramatically improve.
-
The issue is certain SWF groups, not survivors as a whole.
Killers are equally if not more toxic than survivors.

You can be efficient and not toxic, and efficient and toxic. It's not mutually exclusive.
Twins are efficient -and- extremely toxic and unhealthy for the game.

I doubt Pinhead was used in tournaments, successfully anyway.
Twins probably were in tournaments pre-nerf, but I'm talking about current Twins, which are mediocre at best.
Twins buffed is a killer that shouldn't exist. It's the cheesiest, most boring, toxicity inducing killer by far. Permanent slugging, tunnelling and hook camping parking the body next to the hooked survivor constantly.
-
Because most people playing this game are incompetent and don't know how to play effectively.
-
Pig, Billy, Huntress, Trapper
-
What a coincidence, playing as survivor sucks too!
Guess we've come full circle.
-
If all your chases last 2 minutes, then you're really doing something wrong.
-
I like playing against: Pig, Trapper, Huntress, Myers, Billy

and this relates to this post how? i am mostly a killer main atm and I love seeing new perks or old perks being buffed to be strong stop grouping everyone together its so dumb.
You should read my post again if you feel you are unable to understand the worst I posted. Making it simpler: People want nerfs first and foremost, not buffs.

I mean honestly it's both.
There are a ton of useless perks on both sides that should get buffed, but at least for the survivor meta, making anything to compete with the meta is impossible without either nerfing the meta, or making a perk so strong that it's busted. (See: COH and boil over when it was first buffed.)
Yeah, but sometimes you do have to over buff. It's the only way to shake things up and -actually- make an impact. If all you ever do is make a useless perk, an extremely situational useful once every 20 matches perk, you will still change nothing. If all you do is make a useless perk, be a mediocre one now, while nerfing a powerful perk, to make it also mediocre, then instead of a nice perk and a useless perk, now all you have is mediocre.
-
But keep in mind people are too busy (killer mains mostly, to be fair, who have surpassed survivor mains in bias and entitlement, surprisingly) complaining and demanding nerfs for this or that. Instead of asking for perks to be buffed, they want things nerfed. That tells you a lot about a lot of people's mentality here.
-
That seems written by your random super biased killer main crying 24-7 in this forum. It literally says "every survivor wants easy games". Very professional, objective review lol
-
"It gives an unfair advantage, third chance, third health state, rewards bad plays, it's exhausting, it's annoying, unfair unfair unfair unfair crycrycrycrycry".
Let's go over the same "mechanics" and "perks" that have the same effect from killers, that is also unfair, rewards bad plays, it's exhausting, annoying;
- Nurse
- Camping
- Tunnelling
- Ruin
- Scorge hooks
- NOED
- Gates spawn
- Spirit Fury
- Enduring
- Broken addons for multiple killers : Example, pinky finger.
So, let's go over all of those points I mentioned, and once all of that is addressed and fixed, let's talk about Deadhard.
-
She's probably the stealthiest killer in the game now. Quite strong in the right hands, putting aside people who think, unless the killer equals omegablink Nurse, the killer sucks.
Hit and Run Sadakos are quite strong and effective, especially in indoor maps.

Killer mains want to dominate and don't want survivors having a chance. But legion buff was needed he was weakest killer on the game. I dominate most of my games as killer and get 3-4K and usually let last guy escape. When I lose it's because I made mistakes. Good sfw are not that common what some say and then it's only real challenge to win and still at least half the time I 4K agains't them. SoloQ is usually automatic win for killer is he is decent.
I agree on everything, but on the fact Legion needed a buff. I don't think he did, for the reasons I already argumented before. I do agree with you on the rest, though!

also your "proof" says you have 0h playtime and are ash and bronze, so you don't play a lot going by that
I can see you, on top of all the other basic concepts you don't know, are not aware of the very simple reason it says 0h 0h, despite all the info under it. It's okay. I explained all of the other information to you, and I will explain this to you as well.
When in your profile, you select "keep my total playtime private despite public profile", the tracker can't track your total playtime. So it says all of the info about the matches played, sacrifices, bloodpoints, escapes... but it will keep the total playtime untracked. In my effort to continue providing you with objective facts, instead of baseless claims like you like using, I will provide you with my profile as well so you can see the absurd amount of hours I have (way too many I admit). I will uncheck the box to make my total playtime public just for you.
Here is the link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Sumnox/
Because you didn't know so many basic concepts before, I'm afraid you will not know how to find my profile through the link. Here's a quick guide in case directly clicking on it doesn't work for you:
- Launch your search engine of choice or a tab if it's already open
- Go to your search bar (at the top of your screen display)
- Having copy/pasted the link (click, drag, cover the whole url, left click, select copy)
- In your search bar: left click, select paste, then press the intro key.
This will show you my profile, and my total playtime.
Any further information you want, I can provide you until I get bored.

You just explained, poorly, how MMR works when I already knew how it worked on the assumption I didn't, there was nothing to answer.
No one is agreeing with you and there's multiple sources all over that say how weak Legion is, the one who doesn't know what they're talking about is you bud.
Actually, if you read the thread, there's multiple people agreeing with me, saying similar or the same things with different words. I counted 4 after a quick look.
Let's also analyse this situation: If there is just 1 person who agrees with me, then your argument that "nobody agrees with you" is invalid. If nobody equals less than 1, it only takes 1 person agreeing with me to invalidate your statement.
There are two things you learnt today, after all.
You can assume all you want, based on nothing. I bothered to give you some objective proof I'm not new (I can't show you my MMR because nobody can, we don't have access to it). I provided you with all the facts I can provide you with, that's as far as I can go. Other than that, it was nice talking to you.

I knew how MMR worked you condescending doughnut. If you're winning with a weak killer the survivors aren't good or you're below the skill level you're supposed to be in.
That... doesn't answer 80% of all I wrote, so I'll just assume you're out of arguments.
At least you learnt something today. Have a nice afternoon though.
-
Why do you make it about survivors only?
"Because I play killer and that's the experience I had"
Well, let me inform you that, it's both. Play killer and survivors are toxic. Play survivor and killers are toxic.
-
How about we assume 100% of the survivor players are sweaty tryhard thousands of hours 4-man SWF, and buff every killer to the ridiculous broken point of Nurse for example? That way, those solo queue pesky survivors, can finally leave the game.
We don't need t... oh wait

Hard disagree, Legion was in contention for the worst killer in the game. But you haven't listened to anyone else so idk what else to tell you.
To me it sounds like you were just stuck in low MMR, as the only place Legion was "strong" is the same place other bad killers were, against bad survivors.
Winning most games =/ Stuck in low MMR.
I don't think you understand how MMR works. I'll explain it to you. It goes by surviving as a survivor (minus hatch), and killing as killer (minus hatch). That defines how high or low your MMR is. Sadly, we don't have any objective website or tool to know how high our MMR is. I can just give some of my game info to indicate I'm not exactly new. Though of course that doesn't mean you're necessarily good or know how the game works (you for example, didn't know how MMR works until now that I explained it to you).

Even streamers have a difficult time winning, and they actually play this game as a job.
Maybe you should start streaming. Sounds like you could make it big.
It's the trend everyone and their mother easily 3-4ks every match. If you can't get that experience maybe it's a you problem. I know I'm nothing extraordinary as killer. No??? Legion was absolute dogwater before the buff.
- Non-lethal power that can be ignored completely.
- Fatigue was longer than the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
- Cool-down was atrocious and was made even longer by hitting people.
- Add-ons were garbage.
- Slow af Frenzy speed.
How in the name of Frank was The Legion ever "Solid B"?
My brother in Christ, what are you talking about.
Oh my god!!! in the name of Something!!11!1111111122345567
Hyperbole and exaggerations aside:
- Their power was never meant to be lethal, and it can't be ignored. It gets you first hit in super quickly, and the second hit is generally a lot easier. Especially if you know when to snap out of feral frenzy.
- Fatigue was longer, and it still gave you plenty of time to normally m1.
- Cooldown wasn't atrocious, especially with addons. Same with duration.
- Addons were pretty good actually. Now they're even more.
- Base feral frenzy speed was enough to cover going from one side to the map to the other, and that's without addons.
They, in the name of Something, were a very solid B tier. Now you just see them everywhere because he's cheesy as hell, which to be fair makes for -really- boring and tedious matches, which I suppose is one of the many reasons why many people DC/stopped playing lately.
Anyway, let me add more over-the-top pointless reactions to give it the extra drama it apparently needs.
In the name of Jesus, how can you write the things you write1111???????????!!!!
There.

No, that is logical. I guess thinking about it the one way killer used to feel easier was old ruin. Nothing carried you like that perk if the totem ended up in a good spot and survivors couldn't hit greats, no matter how many instaheals and keys and old(est) DS and ironworks of misery god windows and all the other nonsense were in play. Not that I'm nostalgic for it though, glad it's gone.
As I've said many times. The only thing you can really complain about is, very sweaty tryhard thousands of hours SWF teams against most killers that aren't Nurse/Blight sweaty tryhard thousands of hours. How many of those are part of the 100% playerbase? 0,5%? if even.
I don't want my solo queue experience with randoms adjusted around the 0,5% sweaty tryhard 10.000 hours SWF team and buff killers around those, because then my solo experience with randoms is just pointlessly miserable.
That's my main point. I'm not saying every killer is super strong everywhere and every survivor is super weak everywhere.

Although maps have gotten weaker, killers stronger, and survivor perks weaker, the competence of the average survivor has increased a lot since when I started in 2018 imo.
So has killer's. I also play a lot better now compared to that. I can definitely see a lot of mistakes and dumb moments on my side in those clips. 2018 though, a long time ago.
So, while killers and survivors competence has increased, survivors are considerably weaker, and killers are way stronger.
Do I need to elaborate on the result of that equation?

Your logic is flawed. If you know how to properly camp and tunnel (how and when) then you don’t below in low elo. You may think it’s not fair, not nice, doesn’t take skill, or any other survivor excuse for your loss against it, it’s still a strategy.

Do you have a video proof of win streak to back up your claim that killer is easy ? Something like 50 wins streak on any m1. Thanks.
I'm usually bored by the second or third match as killer these days. Most of the recorded ones I have go back a long time ago. Though I can try to find more recent ones in other disks etc. It's very repetitive, always the same, and overall too easy.
Apparently I recorded and uploaded a few matches and clips pre-buff Freddy and Clown etc... when they were weaker than they're today. I never liked broken unfair little-skill killers like Nurse.

"Legion was powerful before the buff."
This is a joke, right? He was one of (if not the) weakest Killers in the entire game.
Except he wasn't. People just didn't know how to play him. Most of them just constantly went around the map applying Deep Wound to everyone, and expected to just magically stale the game enough to get kills. Knowing when to do deep wound runs and snap out of it (not wait for it to run out/get stunned like 90% of players do) was/is key. So no, he wasn't the weakest killer in the game. He was a solid B tier.
-
You did make a very interesting and fair point. The thing is, people severely overestimate themselves. It -must be- the game's fault. It can't be them. If they can't end chases quickly enough unless they bring the most broken combinations (Omegablink Nurse, tech Blight etc) on top of the usual tunnelling and camping which is how they always play, they quickly rush to the forums to cry for nerfs and claim "SURVIVOR TOO OP". The fact of the matter is, I (together with so many) started playing killer in 2016, when it was much harder, and even then I easily won most games. Nowadays, it's a piece of cake, for the vast majority of the time. I really have to go out of my way and be rusty with months and months of inactivity to lose a match.
And I'm nothing special, most killers 3-4k. There's just a very loud minority of them that make it their full time job 24-7 to demand their perkless Pinhead rekts every team as if he was a broken Nurse. They can't do it themselves, so they must have the game do it for them.
As I said many times, people at this point want to watch a cutscene, not play a game.
-

You shouldn't be stunning legion when they haven't got any frenzy hits since it's a waste of resources and generally it's still pretty hard to get 3+ chains if survivors spread out well and don't instantly mend. Once Legion has already gotten a few hits then you should stun him out of his power because then the chain resets. Even better if you can stun him after being hit since he can't frenzy you again.
That's why killers have been constantly getting buffed nonstop over the course of 6 years since release. And that's why the average kill rate has gone up to pretty much 3,5-3,7 , basically meaning most games result in 3-4k. Because they don't want to balance the game around killers being a threat.
... Right.
Legion was powerful before the buff. I easily got 3-4k every game, unless it was this very anecdotical and rare SWF team in a strong map. You get those 1 out of 10 games, if even. People playing killer just honestly want to watch a cinematic at this point, not play a game.
