I'm an android, I won't be biased. You can trust me. Though as humans you are still inferior.

okey so im not the only on reading that in a silly little robot vioce in my head right?.... RIGHT?

  • Well tgw anti camp feature surely had its flaws but when other survivor keep hanging around when the killer camps thats on your team.

In fact the whole reason why the progress stops when there is another survivor in range is because when bhvr started to test anti camp stuff they test survivor quickly found out that they could just loop a killer around the hook to get a free unhook cause the killer either has to leave or the system activates and both end in a free u hook.

So thank the survivor from way back then for that

Even though we feel opposite about NOED and I dislike it, I would actually like the idea of it being a basekit mechanic. This seems contradictory of me, but it’s actually because then we’d basically never see NOED actually come into play as now totems would be a mandatory secondary objective which would actually be good for the game.

that is actually a good argument plus if noed is in every game that first unexpected noed hit does not hit so hard and does not strik fear into the survs

  • @adam1233467 said:

The thing I most hate about noed is now you can see the totem's aura, the killer will hook  on the side of the totem, yes, survivors can see it but they can't clease and it's an guaranteed kill for the killer, but hey, I'm glad I can see the totem's aura right?

in that case you just leave. he has the highground there is nothing you can or should do except leaving sometimes thats just how it is and thats not a situation that only noed can cause

Yea but for the most part all survivor perks get disabled end game that help an escape. The real problem though is its just overall making you worse at the game. people will gain mmr because of the perk then complain when they get pub stomped into the ground repeatedly because they're really not supposed to be in that mmr. NOED is an old perk and it worked a lot better in the old pip system and it shows. There's not to many other perks that boost your mmr like noed end game perks like remember me or no way out make you earn the perk. Noed just lights up and is supposed to be a incentive for survivors to go do bones but instead it ends up just being a crutch perk at end game especially if the killer hooks next to it. If noed only lit up say if you hook 2 survivors during the match then id say it would be in a better spot.

thats a fantastic idea i dont see a reason why we killers shoulnd need to put in some work for noed to work.

i always thought endgame perks are a crazy thing as a whole cause you basicly run around with one or two or even more dead perks the whole game and then you gamble on getting value from it in a time where making a mistake is the most costly.

and ofcourse neod is absolutly the apex of endgame perks and others are way weaker that is true. i actually dont have such a good knowledge of survivor perks but arent the only perks that turn of in endgame perks taht would make a survivor invincible like ds or otr would love to be corrected if im wrong

This kind of change would need tweaks. No way a survivor should get a free heal. What happens to unhooking tome challenges and and the like? this kind of change is so drastic that it is unrealistic. It is like I said previously.

There is no getting rid of tunneling, you can only take steps to prevent. Changes like you propose would require so many changes that would almost require an entirely new game.

I've been tunneled by a pyramid head with cages, so being sent off into another area while seems like it would help doesn't really either.

sure a change like that would absolutly need a ton of tweaks i cant even think of and since i dont play survivor in dont even know how many challanges and perks would be affectet by that.

i also thought about our lovely pyramid headed friend and thats why i thoght making the re enter point random and reliyng on where the killer is would help.

there is a getting rid of tunneling but you are right it would probably need so much from bhvr that it would never happen, they would probably let the game die before they make such big changes

  • @RoastedGarlic said:

    That is a good point.

How many gens have popped? Have any popped? Or are we down to 1 gen?

if its at 4 or 5 gens the killer could injure you and leave comfortably knowing that there is plenty of time and to actively try to leave you slugged would be wasting his own time chasing you to do so. if there is 1 - 2 gens left than they will likely have to slug you to buy time. Which while does suck that is where perks like unbreakable, exponential and even no mither come in and have even more value now.

overall i think it would lead to situations where the killer either has to chase a surv he cant hook or has to accept that the surv will just do gens and i think there is no situation where the killer can just allow to let a surv work on a gen cause the killer can never know how far the other gens are.

to get rid of tunneling bhvr should rework the whole hooking system.

its not that hard and does not take to much from them. simply keep hooks how they are but change what happens when a surv is hooked. after being hooked the survivor gets teleportet into some kind of holding cell where he has to stay for x amount of time and no one is able to make that time shorter or longer. kinda like waiting to respawn in other games.

when the time is up the survivor gets fully healed and brought back to the map. when spawning back the survivor has a short haste effect.

the respawn point is random and based on where the killer is where the other survivor are and where the doors are if the gens are done to ensure there is no way to get a advantage from reentering the map or a disadvantage.

that way the killer knows when he hooks a survivor he has a specific amount of pressure he puts on the enemy wich could ease some of the stress of playing killer. the survivor team gets freed from rescuing wich mostly in solo q can lead to two or even three survs runnign to the hook so progress dies.

camping and tunneling both would stop cause there is no way to it anymore.

the only problem i could see is what to do with endgame. with that system getting hooked in endgame is a death sentence maybe that system simply has no affect in endgame and hooking works like it always did

  • you idea is not bad but i will share my first thought i had when reading it.

so im a survivor and i already have two hooks. what does the killer do no to stop me from doing what ever the freak i want to do without him getting punished. sure he could slug me but thats also highly hated by the community and is next on the choping block if tunneling will ever be dealt with.

i just thought about me searching for a surv a gen pops cause the survivor messed up a skill check and all i find is that stupid survivor i cant hook but i still need to chase him of and slug him or he does gens

A killer with high ping can hit survivors in locations they have already left. So the survivor clears a window, but because the killer has high ping, the survivor gets hit as though they hadn't cleared the window.

I played against a killer running a VPN. I dropped a pallet, the killer freezes in place. Two seconds later I'm on the other side of the pallet with the killer and he hits me. Lagging out your connection as killer basically allows you to rewind time for the survivors you play against. It's probably more effective than running speed hacks. Plus it's not against the rules, so it's a win-win.

    That is very interesting.

And if thats how it is i stand by my previous point and say there should be a ping limit so killer can not cheat with it

  • @Blueberry said:

I agree NOED is an unhealthy perk and a crutch. Note I don’t think it’s OP, just unhealthy. It gives killers kills that were undeserved.

But that logic could very well be extendet to most perks.

Is an escape due to adrenaline undeserved?

Is a kill undeserved if made possible by no eay out?

Is a kill undeserved when you used bamboozle tocut of the survey way?

I agree that noed is a cruch but not more then other strong perks and I agree that its not good if new killers only rely on it to get any kills at all. But i would not call the perk u healthy just because survivor often have the entitlement to think the game ends when the gens are done

  • that absolutly depends on what a high ping does.

can someone give me a quick run down how the ping affect the game?

if its only to the players own detriment im inclined to say it does not matter but realisticly survivor are a team so the rest should not carry the burden of a bad ping. if you can gain advantage from a bad ping then ofcourse there should be a ping limit

No that is exactly what it is, you are going into the match with the expectation that you will fail to pressure gens and they will all be done and THAT is the wrong mindset.

does that apply to all end game perks?

i still think gens should get done in most of the games if both sides are of equall skill and therefore endgame perks are absolutly valid the game is over when the survs pass the escape boarder not a second before that

  • @Jeffandfriends said:

Players would simply not move for that amount of time in corners of the map/basement and hold the game hostage. It makes more sense to take a video of the body block and send in a report for what the one player (killer) does, rather than create a mechanic with the potential for 1-4 people to abuse.

i mean its admireble that you try to protect the game from things that could be abused but i dont see the potential for abuse here. when its designed to counter body block all we need is: when not moved or interacted for 60seconds the play loses collision for 1,5 seconds.

long enough to get out of any body block but not long enough to use in any other way plus there is no way a survivor could use that in a chase or something similar cause of the one minute wait time and like my fellow legion main above already explained losing collision does not mean the killer could not down the survivor.

another important thing is that the whole you need to record proof for bhvr thing is just stupid. lets say you normal player gets body blocked for 5min. that should be punished but is it really realistic to think that the normal player has recording software set up and ready to use on his pc

  • @Hexling said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3671254#Comment_3671254

Well the problem is as killer it makes you a worse killer I remember when I first started playin I relied on it a lot to get at least one kill and I never got better until I took it off because like the above poster said it was a crutch. I would sometimes get 2 3 or 4ks that I didn't deserve especially in early games where survivors didn't know what was going on. Most of the times I didn't even deserve a 1k but BHVR keeps it to keep killers playing because it can give them the gratification of that one kill. Which is the problem they are having with survivor retention because of tunneling.

that may be true i dont dare to talk about if a kill or a escape is "deseverd" when its a strong perk that is helping cause i believe that argument could be made for a number of situations where the kill or the escape would have failed if not for perk x.

i only wanted to highlight that thinking noed is bad because it is a endgame perk and that the killer does not deserve a kill or a powerspike from an perk because the gens got finished is utterly stupid cause the gens getting finished should be the normal.

from what i see with friends and streamers that mindset has also creeped into the killers. demanding buffs and nerfs and getting called bad cause gens get finished and one or to survs get out when that should be the normal middle ground

  • @MaTtRoSiTy said:

The main issue with NOED is it is often a crutch for less experienced killers, other than that I have no issue with NOED now since they nerfed it a bit. I do think it is a cheap perk that rewards failure to protect gens but there are far more problematic things in DBD imo

thats the wrong mindset. noed is not a reward for failing to protect gens its a end game perk its designed to only work at the end and pls remember in a normal game where both sides have the same skill lvl and expirience the gens should get finished.

if the gens dont get finished that means the the diffrence between the survivor skill and the killer skill was to big.

where does that sentiment come from anyway? do people want all games to be either a 4k or a 4e cause the same logik come into play when people talk about adrenalin (no i dont have a problem with that perk) and people say "well dont let them finish gens then" its like people want stomp fests

It does not because I didn't say the change should be a strict nerf.

In an ideal world Legion would get changed to be healthier and still fun for Legion players.

i mean i get where your coming from but i still think that means in a "ideal" world legion would simply not be legion. not that i think bhvr will ever completly rework them but if we say its okey to give up when we dont like what we face that is going to be a problem.

lets just say every single surv would just give up every time they face a legion bhvr would need to complettly change them and by that taking a loved killer that btw is far from strong from the community. thats why i dont like the movement of its oke to just give up if you dont like the killer

  • Its not a bad perk but it is kinda risky.

But other then coh it will.never become a problem cause if all sirvs start too run it and heal all the time the killer will just start running terretorial and quickly no on wants to Touch that perk again

  • @WolfyWood said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3669593#Comment_3669593

Well you've already discovered the solution.

In an ideal world yes, Legion would be changed to be something more than mend simulator, but you are correct that this is not practical at the moment.

Therefore people have to accept that killers like Legion will continue to exist and they also have to accept that Hook Suicides are also part of the game.

But that means you ideal world does not care for killer players.

Legion playstyle does only work becauee of mend cause you need to rob the survs of ttimeand i dont think it really matters ehat happens to cost them time.

Lets say its not mend then Its go to that object and cleans yourself like wesker or nemi. Is that more fun? Legion applys his effect so fast you could stay by that object

  • In befor the crying begins.

Yes i would like fnaf in dbd i think it could be very cool.

An no fnaf would not attract a horde of kidis into dbd. We have a bunch of very popular horror icons that all could attract crowds of people that we dont like and pls remember the toxic kids are the loud minority of the community.

The whole thing if the creator of fnaf is a bad person and should not be supportet is a diffrent issue and i am not deep enough in that to talk about that

  • @WolfyWood said:

Just like the last thread about this I always have to ask why it circles back to 'Survivor bad' and not a deeper look at why people DC.

If killers are allowed to tunnel, 4-slug, hump on the ground, hit on hook, bleed out, and camp and if survivors are allowed to bodyblock their teammates, hide in corners and lockers all game, play for hatch, etc.

Then why is it so shocking that people will also use a method in game to avoid what they would consider to be a waste of time? Why is that considered unreasonable and why does it anger you so much?

Yeah it does suck when someone goes next in a winnable game, but that happens so rarely that I'm almost certain it's hyperbole to say it happens every other game.

The overwhelming majority of hook suicides that I see are when against killers known for terrible playstles (yes Pig is one of them) that involve not actually playing, or if their teammates do nothing for minutes at a time.

Let's fix those before we come after people wanting to avoid them.

but what you say would also mean that bhvr would need to change totally fine killers that arent to strong just because survivor dont like to face them. most people hate to play against legion because they dont like it many people dc because of that so does that killer now need to be changed wich eats tons of recourses that could be used elsewhere and wich would hurt the community that loves that killer?

  • i like plagues mori its.... well lets say interesting but my number one mori absolutly is legion.

the struggle and the survivor fighting back and even pushing them of and then desperately trying to crawl away just for legion to stab them again and again. for me it feels so hard because it feels so normal and human, legion is no supernatural thing and no one of them is super big or strong they are young adults with normal young adult bodys and there mori shows that quite well

  • @SuperCop said:

Very sad. If there are multiple bps you'd think everyone would just grind together.

but thats an unrealistic expectation. even ignoring the tunneling matter you cant demand of a player to vibe an grind just cause you droppt offerings. i dont have fun in farm games for me its a waste of time. i do one or maybe two vibe games on the start of an event cause right at the start i meet so many survs that dont actually play cause they want funny chill games but after that i just play normal

  • @HeroLives said:

my best advice is don’t heal under the hook, like ever, go somewhere covered close by but not right next to the hook, where if needed you can use a pallet.

    this.

as a killer main i can tell you if im not in a chase and im not on the other side of the map i will come to you after the unhook. i dont come to tunnel but i come too get you who unhooked so eitherway you are not gonna heal

  • @Hannacia said:

When i play killer i usually try to find the ratty survivors and not let them escape if ive seen them do nothing and hide the whole match and have 0 hooks. I don't like them as a survivor so i don't like them as a killer eather.

Many times i've had 2 survivors left the ratty one and one thats on death hook. Again i dont see the hider anywhere and i see the death hooked person trying to do gens. I won't hook them i'll go find the ratty one.

If i see people leaving someone on hook and they just go to second stage i usually let them escape in the end and kill the teammates that didnt care about them. Or i let the anticamp do its job and they can jump out of the hook themselfs.

All this being said.. just being a spirit mainer makes people DC, which is silly since she's very easy to counter if you have some volumes in your ears.

My soloQ matches have been quite miserable of late. People dcing and ragequitting for silliest reason ( only reason i'll accept is skull merchant ). People hide and won't do anything during the whole match = this causes other survivors to give up.

Im a legion and plague main I have dcs at the start or at least in the first third of the game so frequently if id get a penny wvery time I would live on my own island.

I once had someone dc before i could move because they probably saw plagues fountain while there cam was spinning

while from a writing standpoint it could be quite interesting, froma representation standpoint I dont think its a super good idea. I'd love to read a book about that concept, but portraying an lgbtq+ character as vengeful and murderous. its a good concept but for representation it wouldnt really work.

i think an lgbtq killer would be nice since the killer mains also consist of members of that community and they deserv those chars to and i think its absulutly possible to make a evil character that is gay for example without making him being gay his center point and by that making it bad rep.

for example a killer could be a pyromaniac that kills because he loves to view people burn and he is just gay. i always prefer it when the lgbtq part of the char is not a center point of them cause then it always feels like "look at our very gay new charakter and all his gay story... did we mention hes gay"

Out of sheer curiosity, I would ask why you would dodge a 4 man? I've been viewing those matches as the only chance to really get some dbd xp for myself. I usually learn a thing of three every time I'm in. Is this not a typical way of thinking for others? Does a 4-man auto equate to 'a bad time.'? Thank you!

i dont do it always and most of the time you cant even know if its a 4 man but sometimes you see a team where you just know thats a 4 man and they kinda feel like trouble^^. i just had my worst times in dbd against 4 man teams. i dont mean that i mind losing against them but i think we all know these groups that littraly toy with the killer

I disagree. Lightborn in itself is a rather stupid perk, removing one of the only ways to fight back. But we dare not start that killer panic attack.

That said, what killer is going to switch perks for a toolbox? Just using your example.

i mean lieghtborn lives rent free in my builds no matter what happens cause i absolutly hate flashlights. got blindet once when my head could not be more facing the wall or i would have it in the wall.

a couple of my friends like to switch to franklins when they see toolboxes thats my expirience.

and you are absolutly right the lobby has its flaws and brings problems like dodging wich is not good for the game even so i have to admit i am guilty myself that i dodged some lobbys when its obvious they are a 4man.

  • Legion.

yes i know i know most survs hate them but i love them.

i love the rush you get when you speed around with them and i enjoy a debuff and hit and run playstyle. another thing that makes them so perfect for me is the fact that legion is not bound to one body/identity

  • i still thin the thing that really seperates soloq from swf is the players you have with you. sure voice is a powerfull tool too but the fact that you have three people with you that most likely wont dc or kill themselfs on first hook. people that actually try to play together and care for each other, that ofcourse also can have negative sides like trying to hard to safe

  • its not even sunday why are you comming up with such a ridiculus idea on a week day

  • if survs could block a killer 90% would just block the killer that is the "strongest" at that moment so lets say right now wesker is the "strongest" what happens now?

its cute that you guys say you would take longer q time so you dont have to face that killer but do you guys remember that the killer is a human too? if i would want to play wesker in this example i would have to waite ages to play him because he is the "strongest" right now.

to adress the: "well when a killer is blocked so much thats a sign bhvr should nerf them" argument i tell you flat out thats bs. there will always be a "strongest" killer thats just logic. as long as there is more then one killer one automaticly is the best. so now we have a funny game where a killer is the "best" gets blocked by more then half the survs cause streamer x has said so and now i cant play a killer i paid money for nice. then bhvr comes in and nerfs that killer if he needs it or not just so he can lose the title as "the best" but what dou you think will happen now?

if you said that logicly now the next killer automaticly becomes "the best" and is blocked you are right.

so in the end we would just run in circles cause sooner or later the nerfed killer will get buffs again cause they are to weak and bhvr will have even more to balance then they have right now and we will have a bunch of killer mains that put money and time into a char and they cant play for god knows how long until he is nerfed.

i absolutly understand if some folks dont like to play against certain killers like plague or clown because of phobias we had that discussion on the forums more then enough and a opion to change these killers for the survs only so they can better deal with that is needed. i also understand that from a survs view its a bit boring when you face the same two or three killers all night but then we should advocate for buffs and changes to the weaker and unfun killers so you get to see more diffrent killer.

  • best thing is to advocate for other killers to get reworks and buffs to be as fun and strong as wesker.

there is a reason why he is played so much and that ofcourse is that he is strong but from what i hear he also is pretty fun to play

Explain how regression is fun. I am a killer main btw.

It makes winning easier for sure but winning is pleasant not fun.

It makes the match last longer but with the queue times I don’t need it, I can find another one instantly.

So yes, explain to me how making gens longer to be repaired fun for the killer or survivor ?

its probably not really fun for the survs if the gens need longer thats true but a big part of that is that doing gens is super boring to start with and bhvr should really do something about that. when it comes to killer i really enjoy controlling my oponents objective that actually brings me fun and regression is a tool to do that.

good regression takes some of the pressure out of the chases cause when i use my regrssion right i have more time per chase

I did not ask for gens perks to become basekit. There may be other ways to remove them without throwing the game out the balance (gen repair time, number of gold pallets, map size ect..).

I just want them gone. I don’t feel like they are fun to play with or against. Chase, info and debuffs perks are fun. You may not like them but imho Crowd Control, Plaything, Devour, Spies, Nemesis/Rancor are all way more fun to play as or against than any slowdown. It’s just my opinion tho.

The problem is that if you start to care about winning too much, you stick to consistently = slowdowns. So the meta is boring.

so basicly you want more of what you deem fun and you actually dont care one bit about what others may find fun and want everything gone that does not bring you joy? thats a little tiny bit selfish dont you think

  • seeing the survivors items is simply part of bhvrs balance. they think its fair that the killer has some room to prepare for what the survs bring like lightborn against a lobby full of flashlights.

in the end items are a big help but its not like the the game is unwinable if the killer counters your toolbox on the otherhand if you could see the killer in the lobby you would not counter him with perks 90% of the player would straight up leave the lobby until they get an m1 killer

No, people will whine and review bomb the game, so it’ll never happen.

Also, if you can never get kills against a SWF that is a you problem, not them. Yes, top Sweaty SWF Squads are near impossible for the average killer to deal with, but they’re far and few between.

Learn how to identify the weak link and tunnel them out. Try playing one of the better killers (Chucky, Billy, Whiskers, Pyramid Head, Spirit, Artist) and see which one you like the most and master them. Play Darth Nea(Skull Merchant) and get easy games from all the DCs and early suicides you’ll get. Play Knight, though he’s not top tier and has issues, he’s good at keeping survivors busy and ending chases.

Also, go on YouTube and look up How to Play Killer videos for DBD. There are certain things like mind gaming and which way to force the survivors to run around a loop that you need to learn.

Or, just sink some time into Nurse and suffer with trying to master her and you’ll have easier games.

i actually hate that your tip to play one of the better killers is so true. with many of the killers i feel like you hit a wall sooner or later where you face competent survs that you cant beat with the weaker killers and you only way of improving is to change the killer

And some maps need less hooks. Sabotage plays are almost worthless on most maps, because there are too many hooks.

i honestly think thats something you can thank swfs and all these funny unhookable build vidoes for. one guy with sabo should be able to make good use of his perk and maybe even get the killer to lose the hook but not always but if there is a whole team that can communicate the perk just cant be good or it will be too good on teams

  • so your basicly mad that the killers are using there counter to your perks?

you clearly make the connection yourself you know very well that these perks can get you slugged thats the resk you take if you dont like that dont use the perks

we call for trapper nerfs now? thats borderline crazy

It is not really quality of life, it is a straight up buff, because missing a sound that gets swallowed by the other sounds around is rather easy but missing a visual indicator in the middle of your screen is really not.

The visual terror radius on the other hand is different in that sense that you will not really miss it, because it stays when you are inside the terror radius, survivor noises are not that constant.

but to be fair the visual terror radius is stupidly good. that thing goes off the mili second even the faintest sliver of terror radius is getting to the survivor much sooner then the normal player would pay attention to it under grunts of pain and gen sounds that just gives the ultimate time to pre run

  • it depents on the reason why the item is no longer to get.

if its like the anniversary stuff i can get behind it. its the birthday event you get the stuff only then. if its locked to a holyday and you can only buy it then but you can buy it again next year on that holliday im cool with it to but when they make skins and just for money reasons say after day x that skin is gone its ######### tactics to get more cash that it.

and i dont get the people defending it. i mean sure the people that defend it are probably the people who have the money to just cash in when they like something and thats okey but i dont get how so many people actualy think when they get seen with something fomo the other player will awe on there knees how cool that skin is that they can never get. that is not happening but all over diffrent games people act like that is a thing.

when i see a cool skin that is no longer available i check out where it comes from and then there are two reactions. is it (a) from an old hard challange that is no longer there because the game changed like in wow with the old challange mode sets then i resepct the player for the feat not the skin or it is (b) just not there anymore because the dev want it to be not there because they wanted to grab cash then i am mad about ######### buisness tactics but the player gets not probs from me for having money

I have to +1 this -- though I do think if killers were actually patrolling around it would be better than what actually happens, which is Killers walking just out of range of the bar, where they are still clearly camping, and just waiting for someone to come save. For example, this screenshot is my second hook, but this Chucky was literally RIGHT THERE the entire time. It's not effective at all. They need to increast the range a bit more for killers to be out of it, or figures something else out. At least when a Bubba was just hitting my body on hook the whole time my team knew to go do gens.

okey until now if never seen how far you need to go away since i only play killer and i dont camp and i always thought sure the killer does not need to leave the country for it to dont count as for the system but they surely cant be that close people are probably just mad but THAT...

That is still facecamping and now one can defend that or say otherwise. the second a survivor come to rescue the killer will be right next to the hook. a range killer could just attack from there and someone like chucky or blight just rushes there. the whole hook thing needs to be reworked from the ground.

  • oh my sweet summer child. why do you want to throw yourself willingly into the pits of hell

Because none of that matters to the competitive brain, or even really the trolls. All that matters is everyone is alive/most are alive.

    • You played bad if you don't meet their expectations, doesn't matter what killer
    • If you play good, then killer was carried by a perk/power or you relied on something too much
    • If you dare secure a kill, you're the worst killer main and should uninstall
    • If 3 gens pop before someone dies, get gud uninstall

I want to clarify this doesn't reflect the majority, I've met wonderful survivor mains myself and I have been inching closer to the 50/50 on both sides in terms of playtime, but I'm not gonna pretend survivors aren't like this in my matches a lot. Especially when I'm branching out and learning what I can/can't do with other killers.

And for extra clarity, there are hyper competitive killers too, just so people don't think I'm being too hard on survivors.

the funny thing is at this point i play online games for so long i almost expect stuff like that.

just yesterday i was a bit frustrated from a single player game because i just bought it and had a bug that kinda ruint it for me at that moment and i switched to playing lol and my wife asked me if that is a goot idea when im allready angry and i just said: "well atleast i expect to get treatet bad in that game"

i really hate that we all have to face so much toxic negativ stuff almost daily as gamers and i dont like people defending it when they say "its just part of it get over it" but they are kinda right

  • thats a good question. i mean its no secret that only gaming is plagued with toxic freaks that live for making other peoples day as bad as they can but its like they want to breed tunneling and camping killers and it freaking works. i am no saint when it comes to this i absolutly had games where i got so much smacktalk and just overall bm my next game was a camping buba even so i knew these survs did nothing wrong

  • im absolutly torn on this.

i really want pennywise but i also would die for something bioshock. i picket bioshock tho cause it probably has more then enough supporters already

  • a 2k is okey if the game was ok, if it was sweaty af even a 4k sucks.

but the most important part is a 2k is absolutly oke if the survs behave. if i have a super clingy flashy guy that trys to blind no matter what and that gives me 10 tbags after every pallet the game does not feel good

  • okey alacazam your wish has been gradet from now on when a survivor would be hooked wo time in a row the hook is blocked by the entity. tenneling is now absolutly impossible but did you think about what follow your little wish?

that survivor is by all means invincible now, i mean sure the killer could down him but that only wastes time. that survivor will absolutly use this fact to block the killer where ever he can cause all that happen is that he will get downed.

see its not as easy as to say block hooks and tunneling is gone, now the important questions start.

how long is that survivor safe? is there a time limit or is it until another surv was hooked? i mean the killer could just wait out 30 second of slug if thats the time window and would that really end tunneling? if its untill another surv is hooked iron will and exponentioal would probably be meta and the other four survs just hide until the invincible surv has done a good chunk of gens or is bleed out. they probably take turns.

real anti tunneling wont ever happen cause for that bhvr would need to change how the game is played.

as a little example they could change hooks. when ever a surv is hooked he is brought to a holding place, he remains in that place for x time and then is released in a random spot on the map that is atleast x meter away from the killer and the doors. that could end tunneling cause there is no real way to tunnel but it would require a load of work and time and money and thats not going to happen.
