As killer I preferred 50%. But maybe that was went mmr was better. I'm tired of downing one survivor then the rest give up because I've played well from the start. Killer snowball/pressure is too strong right now.

i dont think think its the general pressure that is to strong i think its the mmr.

if you are a good killer and you are quick and make a good play survivor who are much lower in mmr then you ofcourse get intimidated and lose there will to fight. every one i know and every streamer i watch says that the matchmaking just sucks atm. i hoenstly believe if the matchmaking would work better the overall player expirience would feel better.

i see it myself. sometimes i have survs where it really feels like we are even and we have a fun close game but most of the time i either face survs that run around like headless chicken after a good play from me or survs that are just so much better then me that i could just stay in the basement and hope that they dont want to torture me for to long

  • its absolutly normal to get a time out if your game crashes. a chrash is handlet the same way any other dc is handled. bhvr cant see why you left the round they can only see that you did it thats why no matter why you left it is countet as leaving the game and that can get you a time out

Like one perk per survivor... but i think the only problem here is flashlight. But killer can not see this flashlight:

    1. Surv can swap to a flashlight last second.
    2. Residual Manifest

I dont see Keys, Medkits and Toolboxes are problem for any killer, and yes one can assume there are BNP or syringe... but i dont think any killer will change their whole loadout for that (they ofted do that regardless, especially that there is always at least one toolbox and medkit). And lightborn is only perk that is valuable if more then two survs bring specific item.

i mean i dont care so much cause lightborn lives rent free in my build no matter what since last second swap still is a thing but i know a bunch of killers that like to change atleast one perk depending on items

Lol, my escape rate is below 30%.

But then again, I am bad at chases and avoid them as much as I can. Plus, my MMR is rock bottom so, yeah...

But to my understanding there must be people with lower then 40% cause there are absolutly people with over 40% so that overall we come to 40% or am i wrong

  • Its part of the balance where one killer has to compete with 4 survivor. Its fair that the killer gets a chance to pick his perks to somewhat counter survivor

While I’d love a spider killer/power, even though I’m scared of them, some people have a legitimate phobia of them and other similar creatures and it would cause them to quit the game. The question is would it attract more players to make up for the loss?

while you are right we already have clown wich has his very own wide spread phobia and plague triggers also many people from what i hear.

in the end i dont think the devs should not make killers that could trigger phobias cause its still a horro themed game so if we take every phobia into consideration we could lose out on many cool killers.

best case would probably be a phobia mode like satisfactory has, well maybe not so silly to dont kill the vibe but something like that

  • one thing that doesnt leave my mind since i started dbd is a giant spider.roughly the size of a big dog and as a power it just have what a spider has:

-wall crawling/ crawling over walls in loops. ofcourse on cooldown and the crawling over a loop thing cant be to fast

-as a main power shooting a web. if it hits the surv is slowed and cant throw pallets if it doesnt hit it remains on the floor as a bog patch for x seconds and survs are slowed while walking on it but not as much as when they get hit.

as a bit of flavour the killer could web the survivor on the hook instead of actually hooking them

  • so we dont have a single bad killer? no killer that have abysmal low pick rates? sure girlypop

  • @HaunterofShadows said:

It's not really that simple. Yes, I agree they need to stop buffing the killer role in general, but there is a list of individual killers who need some help. For example, the changes doctor is getting are really good for him and are going to make him feel much better to play.

    thank you.

killer as a whole dont need buffs but there are more then enough bad killer that need some love. if we dont allow buffs for them just cause it would be a killer buff then survs have no right to complain why they only see the same 5 killer

  • i think sabo builds and wiggle build are as "weak" as they are because all this years ago bhvr gave us swf.

i dont want to hate on swf but the existens of up to four players that can coordinat in my mind bring the need to make sabo and wiggle stuff weak.

your normal solo q or duo q player would have a normal chance to get around getting hookt if they where stronger but swf would probably be a problem

Aliens can be cryptids. A lot of alien sighting stories aren't much different from cryptid sightings. Mothman could've been an alien, the Flatwoods Monster, the Hopkinsville Goblins, etc. I don't think it coming from space really makes a difference if it's still doing the same scary stuff, the results are horrifying either way. Though I will be disappointed if the killer isn't equally creepy to the monsters shown in the teasers.

oh i wish mothman would grand the fog his glory.

i would never play another killer

Phobias are complex and they can stem from all sorts of issues. Sure, exposure therapy can be a way to tackle phobias for some but it's also not always the case for everyone.

oh and lets not forget exposure therapy can backfire pretty hard

  • Freddy but because that is absolutly 1000% not gonna happen i would like Chucky

  • im all with you.

as long as it is only an option that does only affect the one wanting to not see the it and as long as it does not break the characters look and theme this absolutly should be in the game

Well, I don't think he is the worst killer in the game, but his kill rate was a bit of a surprise.

I think it is mostly because of how rare he is, the dedication of his mains, and his mobility giving him an advantage that some other killers do not have. That last one being the reason I say Dream Projection is the only aspect of his reworked power that is worth salvaging.

Though I cannot possibly take all the credit. There are other seven Freddy players in the Forums and they are all amazing <3

you my friend are the sole reason i started to play freddy again.

he was the very first killer i ever bought but i quickly put him to rest cause he wasnt that fun and sadly he had no outfits and im a sucker for cool skins. but seeing you holding frddys torch high in the forum made me go back recently and now im learning to get the best out of my favorit horror icon

After 3 years and 2,500 hours I can honestly say that Legion is the most difficult Killer to face as Survivor. I've tried every tactic against Legion but they all fail. If you hold off mending/healing the bar drops so rapidly that you are on the ground before you know it. And playing injured means a one-hit hook. If you attempt to play keep away by running to the corner of the map, you are not repairing gens and Legion will likely detect you with the long range heart beat and fast closing speed. He/she also counters loops by quickly vaulting pallets and windows, sprinting faster than Survivors even in "sprint burst," and detecting hidden Survivors in lockers, etc.

That said, I have escaped matches against Legion but only because they were baby Killers and didn't know how to play as the Killer. I also witnessed a 4K against Legion on The Game map in under 2 minutes. I don't DC in matches because I play for the enjoyment of the game. But I'm nearly always guaranteed to de-Pip. 😱

i think legion may be just your counter. most people say legion is not hard or op but they hate that the game is a slog wich even as a legion main is a fair argument.

i have the same problems with spirit. i cant win against her if she doesnt allow me to. no matter how good i am against other killer and no matter hom many tips and strats i learn sprit will kill me

  • i like your idea even tho i dont think that this is the case for this killer. for me it looked kinda like the thing. like bodys melted together.

but your idea is nice and that would be a cool killer concept. something like a puppet master controlling humans would be a good concept to try a killer thats isnt in the trail himself but that contolls minions to hunt the survs

If we were to take an individual change I would have an option to make Plague yell "yay" and shoot rainbows. Survivors would uncontrollably shout "yippee" instead of the vomit for Plague and Nemesis animations.

A more general change would be allowing Killer bans. This would help more people, although people 'forced' to ban Plague/Doc/Clown would unfortunately have fewer bans. (Personally I would have 1 ban per 5 Killers released round down. Also to keep things fair, Killers could ban realms or maps at the same rate. We are forced to play Ranked only, so it would be nice to have basic Ranked QoL features like this.)

lets be totally honest the ability to ban killers would only lead to the best killers being banned 99% of the games.

and before anyone says "thats a sign they need nerfs" sure but there will always be a best killer cause when we nerf the curent best there will be a next one and then every patch killer mains will have the funny opportunity to see if there beloved main they spent time and money on will be unplayable until he gets nerfed.

on the whole vomit thing. i as a plague main would be absolutly fine with any form of phibia mode aslong as it is on a per player basis and it does not deface the killer. your idea goes the right way but would destroy her whole theme and just mock her.

Last second swapping is fine. If the killer is changing their perks and add-ons because of what they see in the lobby then that is their problem.

My friends and I last second swap to our p100's solely because we get lobby dodged otherwise. We are not good nor do we play in a manner other player's would call sweaty, but watching multiple killers leave the lobby is butt cheeks. I've never noticed differential treatment in trial, but before the trial there definitely is and its obnoxious. If the roles were reversed and survivors could see the killer prestige pre-trial I'm sure high prestige killers wouldn't find matches as quickly.

last second swap to your p100 because you get dodged is fair. prestige shoulndt be shown before game. i only have a problem with last second swap so they can all have flashys or medkits so the killer cant react to it.

I also would like to test out no lobbies and see the effect on matchmaking quality, but I see the issue you bring up.

Perhaps what is needed is a visible lobby and the ability to change loadouts, but not the character. Killers already are locked in, so survs should be too. It amazes me that last second swapping bs survs can do is still in the game.

As others have pointed out, the lobby shopping needs to go. The atrocious backfilling problem is likely the biggest cause of the ridiculously one-sided matches out there. That alone outweighs anyone's need to flex their prestiges or whatever.

They say they're still looking at hiding prestige options, so that has to wait for now.

on one hand yes lobby shopping sucks and is bad for fair matches, but on the other hand i do admit that i do it to as a killer.

bevor i had lightborn i left full flashlight lobbys and now i mostly dodge lobby with streamers cause i had one to many interactions with streamer that either play super super bold to show of and then complain and curse me and there mates when it goes south or they do some meme stuff and get hyper toxic when i refuse to "vibe" with them

edit: and yes its crazy last minute swaps are still in the game and its also crazy to see so many people defend it

i dont buy that whole: "oh they cant have more then one mode permanently cause then the ques would be so long" bs.

This isn't their stance, this is just something random people have said on the forums.

BHVR's stance is that if the game mode was up for too long, those playing that game mode would decrease as the gimmick wears off, and I can agree with that. People were already over Lights Out after the first couple days, just like when people play the PTB each chapter. It was highly killer-favoured, and killer queues for Lights Out did end up getting pretty long, even if the regular mode queues were untouched.

But I do think one week was far too short, I think 2 weeks minimum should have been the benchmark, and if it turns out to be popular, extending it for another week or 2.

okey then thats fair. that was what i was hearing from all over.

one week was absolutly to short even for just a test and then they even put some fomo in it wich stings extra.

they should just make it two weeks every two month altest for this year untill they figuert out what and if they want to do something with the whole concept of diffrent modes

  • i dont buy that whole: "oh they cant have more then one mode permanently cause then the ques would be so long" bs.

there are other games out there that have multiple modes that sustain these modes with there playerbase. if dbd does not have that large of a playerbase that is a clear sign that we need new existing stuff (like diffrent modes) to get our playerbase to grow.

i had so much fun in lights out. i love dbd i mostly play killer cause i dont like surv gameplay but playing killer really exhausts me cause i always fell a bit stressed. in lightout that stress was gone cause its not main dbd its that silly mode without perks.

we need more modes and we need them permanent. and for the love of god give us a mode where killer can finally have a friend

This is exactly the reason it should be removed. It also makes matchmaking worse since the lobby now has to back-fill. Personally I think the lobby should be scrapped altogether. You queue then get matched and load straight into the game. Seeing items/survivors/prestige/steam profiles shouldn't be available pre-trial since it only gives the killer a reason to dodge. You were matched for a reason. Lobby shopping needs to go.

but remeber then you need to buff killer for that. it is part of a killers toolkit to see the survivor and react to there items thats the reason why most killer hate that awefull last second swap

  • oh i would love that so much.

i honestly dont care what they do and how they balance it i only care for not being alone anymore. for me its a big part of the stress that comes with playing killer. its all on my shoulders

I'd say, you could not down him again right away in two minutes if you don't find another survivor to hook? If you hook someone else after, I guess you can down him again because he got times to escape?

But I could understand the possibility, that you could slug that person, hook another, and hook him again. I'd be more in favor of, you can not hook that person again until you hook another one. It breaks the tunneling. You are not chasing that person again right away after she got unhook.

    What do you think?

the problem with all these anti tunnel ideas is the same.

would it work to deal with that specific case where a killer wants to tunnel a survivor out be it cause he is sweating to win or for any other reason? Sure.

but would it also be a absolut balance nightmare that bhvr will never handle the right way? 1000%

what happens if i am just unlucky as a killer. i dont look to tunnel but i have no chase the unhook is near me and i can just find the unhooked player cause the unhooker vanished? with your system im screwed i lost time cause the system protects the surv. that surv is btw going to do the next gen cause he is safe from everything or do you plan to make the protectet survivor unable to progress the game untill i hook the next one?

another example would be the survivor missplaying. he does not hide he trys to heal right under the hook he basicly begs to be hit again. should i now dont get to hook him again and get something out of my enemys mistake?

what i want to say is there is more to "oh he tunneld me" then just a killer wanting to be an ass. an anti tunnel system needs to be very very well thought out to not inflict harm. and survivors already showed that they are quick to find any way to weaponise stuff like that. the original anti tunnel system bhvr testet didnt came out cause the test survs turned it into a weapon in no time and at this moment looking at the anti facecamp feature and the anti 3gen feature i dont think bhvr can handle such a system.

the best would honestly be to first try to balance the game as much as possible and then tune down chapter releases to focus a big part of there people into overhauling the whole game. the whole hooks and sacrifice thing is in itself part of the tunnel and camp problem.

the killer hooks the surv and tecnically the game wants him to keep hunting but often its way better to let the pray come to you cause then you may get two on a hook but atleast you slow them down by half there power.

if the surv would go from the hook into a prison of some kind where he would come out after a fixed amount of time the killer could start hunting the second he truns around after a hook. there would be no urge to stick around and defend what you caught cause its gone and you directly know i got x time until the survs are back at full power lets see if i can capitalize on that.

that idea would eliminate both tunneling and camping right there on the spot but it is far from perfect and brings like hundred new flaws with it.

i really dont think there even is a real fix for tunneling. maybe in dbd2 when the whole thing is designed diffrently from the start.

  • the cant be downed part is dangerous.

is there like a fair timer that gives the surv time to heal an reset or is it until another surv is hooked?

cause what excatly hinders everyone else from hiding after unhooking the first hook and that guy just slamms the gens

  • i mean i kinda like the concept you bring up here maybe link it to a perk. useless or near useless while you are alive but if you die early you can ghost around and help a bit

  • @sizzlingmario4 said:

Part of his power with the cages is that no perks on either side are allowed to interact with them (Kinship is an exception, but that’s a bug that’s getting fixed next update so soon that won’t work anymore either). Perks like DS don’t work, but neither do killer perks like PGTW.

I think the cages should grant the basekit BT effects though, because that isn’t a perk and as you said there’s nothing the uncaged survivor can do if PH is nearby.

This mechanic does exist but only if he’s within 5 meters of the cage and his ranged attack has an 8 meter range so he can get around that easily.

well okey good to know and easy to fix make the range bigger that way he cant cheese it and the cage keeps its theme of being completly diffrent from hooks

2 kills and 2 escapes is supposed to be the average. If it was 30 min of action then fine but it's not. Time is always in favor of the killer because 30 min games will mean. Not being able to completely gens because they're zoned, not doing gens because you're trying to find a teammate to heal, while in the mean time the killer is kicking gens down to nothing, trying to rescue a survivor and then heal and then do gens and without DH solo que is going to be a disaster. Long games aren't fun. 15 min is the max for me.

i just think shorter games make so many of the problems we have because the is just not enough time for everyone to get action not with a 1v4

  • because its a cage not a hook. thats basicly one of pheads features nothing that works on hooks works on his cages be it for survs or phead himself

  • @killeriseasy said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3390650#Comment_3390650

Yes, absolutely nerf the killer that overperforms. I just want a killer that performs so that the game is fun for all. Otherwise, I'll play for hours hoping to get a fun game. Matches are becoming 30 min, especially in solo que and if not its because my teammates let me die on hook. The patch goes through and solo que is dead. I can play a lot other games for hours that will be more fun

i mean i dont know why games should not be 30 min. sounds like a solit time for a fun round. that ofcourse would mean that its actually fun.

if the games are to short that either means the killer is to strong or to weak. if gens would not be so god darn boring i would say games could be longer so there is more time for the actuall fun part and thats the chases. but thats dbds biggest flaw. there is only one killer for four survs only one can get into the fun at the same time so technically the survs would need a long objective that is fun at the same time wich is not easy to make and at the same time if everyone plays for the chases no matter how fun the objective is its not as fun as the chases and if its super dupper fun they would get anoyed by the killer

  • @killeriseasy said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3388974#Comment_3388974

Honestly, I don't mind blight and nurse. If they're good, it's at least a quick game and I move on to the next but if they're inexperienced then it can be a fun game. Knight is OP, Skull merchant is OP and I'm just not good enough to counter killers who throw or spit. I play this game for fun, and sometimes it's not.

while i get from where you come with that idea you forget one important thing.

there wil always be a killer that is considered to be the best/strongest by the majority of the community. thats does not even mean the killer is super op and unbalanced but someone has to be the best thats just how it works.

so now think about your idea what do you think will happen with this killer? ofcourse people who like to play that killer will have unbelieveble long q times because people will block that killer.

what now. do we nerv that killer even so he does not overperform? that would suck for people who like that killer. we could buff another killer to dethrone the best killer but that would just switch it from one to another.

in practice you cant have a killer block feature cause it would just be super frustrating for every killer player. just imagine what will happen every time a new killer comes out. people love to scream op at everything new cause they just had no time to adjust and learn yet. doesnt sound super fun right? you see the trailers for a new killer you are hyped af and then you cant play him for like three weeks till the majority of players ban another killer.

in the end a ban feature does not work well in a game like dbd. if there is a killer that drasticly overperformes its on the devs to see that and fix it.in your case where you just dont go well against certain killers it sucks but if you like dbd you need to power through that and learn to fight them. when i started dbd huntress was my nemesis. no other killer was that bad for me (well maybe nurse but she is in her only little realm bullshittery) but now i can stand against her and often even win.

But this is the problem, they're not weaponizing the basekit BT. The point of BT is to make tunneling right off hook just less effective enough so a survivor has the chance to put themselves in a situation to make a skillful or helpful play and not just go down immediately to the killer. Unlucky for killers, taking a hit may be the best play in a certain situation.

Now, on the killer side, tunneling may become the best thing to do for a killer, but not at 5 gens remaining. Idk why the hell tunneling at 5 gens would be the only option for a killer.

Also, remind yourself of when basekit BT didn't exist. tunneling was so easy to the point where it could be done immediately, and survivors were in the position that a lot of killers think they're in now: They have no options.

My point is, killers have options at 5 gens, and taking a bodyblock with BT isn't weaponizing it.

sure i have plenty of options at 5 gens and i too think tunneling at 5 is stupid and shows lack of skill but i can understand that especially the weaker killers might feel its the only right thing to do but thats a balance question not a tunnel question.

but i still think taking a hit with basekit bt is weaponizing it. survs asked for it so they have a better chance to escape now they use it so the killer cant capatalize on the fact that another surv might have not checked that its safe to unhook. and the worst thing is they use there shield to block a hit and then scream bloody murder if the killer goes for them the weaker target. thats what grinds my gears. they use a tool for escape as a weapon/shield and then still want the killer to turn a blind eye and walk away

  • @philward1953 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3366005#Comment_3366005

This is why the amount of gens left is important. If this were to happen to you at 1 or 2 gens left, it won't mean much. If this happens at 5 gens, you can still slug to cause pressure or take the penalty.

would still feel incredible ######### for the killer.

he does nothing wrong he goes for the unhooker he doesnt want to tunnel and the surv takes a system that is designed to deter from tunneling and use it as a weapon. thats just not good and thats why bhvr doesnt do things like that just look back at the anti camp system they tested where survs instantly came up with a way to use it against the killer wich is why it doesnt got into the game.

i dont say they shoulnd come up with a solution for tunneling and camping but as long as there is a way for it to be weaponized it cant work

  • okey so i try to dont tunnel and go for the unhooker you run into my face blocking me maybe even blocking a door i down you loose aditional time from the weapon wipe and then i cant hook you cause i would get a penality so i dont even get bp for hooking you nor does it advances my objective while youre mate got away.

that does not sound nice at all. i wonder why so many killer are against most anti tunnel ideas even when they are against tunneling

  • first of all zero is totally right survs already love to use basekit bt to not get away but to tank what exactly makes you think that survs would not 100% run into my face if i would get a penality of any kind for downing them again?

  • she is a killer that can do nothing but holding areas just like knigh. maybe bhvr should stop acting like this is a freaking base defense game since survs dont like it that way.

three gens suck when the killer is good at area denail just like loops. it cant be engaging in any form since its designet to denial an area to the survivor so it either does that through dmg like the knight or exposed like the mechant or it does nothing at all.

sure you have tracking and the stealth but a good surv will never be fooled by the stealth cause they will counter any mindgames with hold w and the tracking is stupid cause most of the time you see your target anyways.

area denail killer just cant work. they are either strong wich isnt working with dbd cause of gens and loops ore the denail isnt realy a denial cause you can ignore it

  • @Blueberry said:

I prefer the killers with macro gameplay. IE built in game slow down and map mobility type stuff. It allows survivors to have all those fun chases they like but it also gives the killer enough time to have them without costing him the entire game.

i think that sums it down pretty good.

survs want fun chases and i get that most killers want that too but sinsce its not 1v1 the killer cant give the time for a fun run around the rock game.

the problem is just how the game is played at its core. survs need to do gens wich isnt fun at all the fun comes from interacting with the killer but only one can do this at a time. the other three sit around fixing gens. if you make gens take long enough so the killer can spend time for a fun fair chase three out of four survs will just look at a slogging slow bar filling up and i cant really come up with a good idea how to change that.

when i encounter a good looper i leave him the second i see he is good to find a better target because i cant spend the time for him. feels bad for me cause i need to leave my prey and look for another one and it feels bad for the surv that got up for a fun chase just to be left alone after one round around the loop

  • okey i dont like camping and tunneling too lets get rid of it.....

but since killers are hypocritical when they complain about swf while camping or tunneling this would mean swf is just as cheap so we get rid of that too right? or does that only goes for killers

Absolutely disagree. The game is designed around FOV. There are very few things survivor can do against stronger killers. One of those very few options is actually abuse their FOV. It's VERY VERY important. Sure not for a low or mid MMR. In those MMR's survivors are just unable to abuse it. But in higher MMR, it's essential to be unpredictable. And this one IS one of the tools.

What is so super frustrating about it is that you want a "tech" to be kept that makes playing killer incredible hard for some and impossible for others and while I don't suffer from it every time a survivor trys a window tech I just feel like my poor susie just got a super stiff neck cause why the hell can't I look left or right while jumping through a window I'm not made of stone

  • To be fair if we turn that around and look from a killer perspective you don't have a chance against a actual team of decent survivor with m1 killers

In theory I like the idea; let the sweatlords sweat together and let everyone else have fun in peace.

But. How would you stop the sweatlords from sweating in casual?

The only two points I can think of are the lesser rewards and it getting boring after a while. Both points aren't exactly strong. Many people don't even care about rewards, even less care beyond the point of them getting what they want (esp. cosmetics; sweat your butt off until you get the item you want, then go chill and stomp in casual again). And while a majority will find stomping all the time rather boring sooner or later, there are people who will have to suffer them in the mean time - not to mention that there are those who will never get bored of it.

The only way I can see a casual mode work is if a lot of control is taken away from the players. If e.g. perks are largely randomised or the most common 10 perks are always blacklisted or whatnot. So that you are left with the stuff that makes it very hard to sweat to begin with.

I think that's really I the only way two modes can work. Make a more fair mode where you restrict a lot of things like addons perk combos and what not and make that the primary mode where you can unlock cosmetics get more BP and make basically a free for all mode where you can stack what you want do your archives play silly stuff sweat what ever you want.

This way people can progress and play in a more fair way and people that want to try silly or hardcore builds can still do that

I mean that will always be the case

That's the cost of having a variety of playstyles, you have to accept that some will be stronger then others

Not every killer needs to be tournament viable cause that would be really restrictive to the design process.

I be honest with you I'm not the biggest fan of how vastly different the power levels are because I pay the same amount for every killer so it kinda sucks to have a visual and concept wise nice killer just for them to be bad because designe just like knight. Nurse is probably only the best and doesn't get nerfs so no one can scream bloddy murder over p2w

Hence why i added the slowdown when you are hooked. You still don't need to go for 9 hooks before the first survivor is dead

But aim for something like 5 hooks with 2 on deathhook and then aim to take the 2 on deathhook swiftly after eachother

A survivor should be dead by hook 6 at the very least. Just trying to avoid them being dead by hook 3

Could work we would need to monitor how it works for the different killers what is enough for nurse is probably not enough for trapper but wants enough for trapper is probably to much for nurse

When i talk about the concept i do mean the "I'm at 2 gens i need someone out now" type of tunneling, not the "first person i see is the only one to exist" type

If the hard tunneling wasen't effective you would barelly see it

Problem with your 22 second stun is you punish both of them

For me survivors should get a massive repair speedboost once one survivor is dead, you can fluff it as desperation, and a small repair speed penalty when they are hooked

So that if you focus everything on one survivor the other ones have a massive speedboost with none of them being close to getting out of the game and that spreading hooks by base is a slowdown

Instead of being why would i chase the person who hasn't been hooked they die faster it would be why would i chase the person that has been hooked they repair gens slower

Yeah but on then you would need gens to take like 200 sec as long as no one is dead. Right now the game is just not balanced to spread hooks in any way that feels good or fair for the survivor the big problem is gens need to be done so it would be awful if they took longer because that's not fun but survivor also love chases so you can't really say you take down chase time by a lot to get that time in for the killer. The whole concept of the game is kinda screwed right now

Cause tunneling as a concept isn't a problem, A survivor should not be immune to getting targeted after getting unhooked or they will use that as a weapon.

The concept of tunneling isn't a problem, how effective it is is.

The swing of 4 to 3 survivors need to be reduced massively and there needs to be an incentive to hook multiple different survivors. But a recently hooked survivor should not be able to stand in the killers face and not die as a result of it

You are right there needs to be done something but I can't see what.

Atm there is not enough time to spread hooks in a fair way especially if you don't play one of the super mobile killers.

You could either show the killer the next target like a mini BBQ and make them somehow stronger in the next chase if they go for another target or you make gens even slower and then in turn make tunneling impossible before endgame.
