  • Everything eventually dies.

You will die, I will die, the game will die, humanity itself will die.

But as long as no apocalyptic events happen in the near future i think it will survive for quite a while longer.

DbD just does things that no other game does.

  • 81 killer perks, 243 perk tiers. 2 perks per bloodweb mean 121,5 bloodwebs for everything. about 50.000 bp per bloodweb. That 6.075.000 bp for 1 killer. Times 23 killers is 139.725.000 bp for everything.

That'a without survivor or prestiging, without counting you don't get 2 perks for the first 50 bloodwebs and being quite generous with 50.000 per bloodweb.

Don't be surprised people pick the perk that doubles their bloodpoints

  • I can't imagine how horrible your life has to be to think a 10-20 match of a game is more important then the wellbeing of someone's pet.

Good to see atleast some good came out of it. This collection of pets and donkeys is adorable

  • This would just make already strong killers who don't need addons stronger and weaker killers who are overrealiant on addons even weaker in comparison right?

  • On a more serious note. If you lost a slug look out for crows.

Most of the time that's how i find a slug nowadays

  • I remember a time where deerstalker was a base feature. But instead of aura's you could actually hear survivors who were on the ground.

    Those were the days

  • Watch raging ryuga. He gives good advice on hia Legion video's

In short Legion is a killer that can easilly keep everyone injured, get's information and stalls the game.

You laugh at deep wound but that's 15% of a gen they couldn't do cause they are mending. It's not a downing tool.

If you want to be good at Legion you really need to be good at mindgames. Luckelly Legion is one of the best mindgame killers in the game. Unlike Plague they are very short and unlike stomping demo and oni he makes zero noise.

And 1 mindgame is all you need to get a down and then you just snowball.

    Some general tips

Don't try to always get all survivors in one frenzy. Your terror radius is 40m while in frenzy and people on the edge are just to far. Get the people who are close. Look where the others are and cancel your power. By the time you made it over there your power is back. This allows you to injure the entire team waaay faster then plague could dream off.

As a general rule of thumb. If your power runs out and you didn't end it manually or by getting purposefully stunned you probably did something wrong.

Don't chase one survivor for too long. Get a pallet or 2 out of the way frenzy them and go back to gens or another target. Legion is a 4v1 killer. And you need to play them as such.

Use frenzy to find specific survivors. Legion can very easilly find deathhook survivors.

Some survivors will instantly mend thinking you will run away. How many times you can end your frenzy beside them or from behind cover and them just down them is honestly just too often. And you should enforce this. If they mend in your face teach them to run to a safe place first next time.

  • He still has big weaknesses but he's far from unplayable now.

You can win as long as you keep the pressure up and not chase as a 110 killer in shack.

You also need to really have a good aim. The easy ranking they gave him is wack.

Does he still need buffs? Yes main event is still a big gamble and a hassle to use and he could really use not losing movement speed while holding up his knives.

    Is he unplayable? Nowhere near

  • A huge aspect of killer is momentum and the sooner you get that rolling the better. And if you have to go through 5 pallets each time you want to get a hit your momentum ball just get's rolling way to late.

It is ofcourse dependant on what you are playing. As a CLOWN main who can now quickly dart after survivors after they break the pallet and force them to drop them early yeah i can see it not being a problem. You can probably create a death zone quite quickly and force survivors there. That said you can have 100 safe pallets in a map and a nurse will laugh at them. doesn't mean it's not an issue.

Play pig on that map and you'll probably change your mind about it not being a problem. or wraith when they are multiple medkits. Or trapper without good addons. Or heaven forbid Myers. Imagine having to start stalking first. to then go throught all those pallets to only then getting your pressure.

A map can be disfavorable for a killer but for some killers Gideon is just straight up unplayable if you face an equally skilled team

  • He's playable now. People actually have a chance to get good at him to see how good he is when you face one who doesn't waste knives.

I would say now he's in a good spot to collect data on. Before it was just so obvious he was bad.

probably still need a look at main event and how long high wall loops completly destroy him but for now it's okay.

For pc that is. on console he is and will always be horrible by design. A controller just isn't made to keep someone in your line of fire for a set amount of time.

  • Not a perfect solution but if you have a flashlight you can very quickly check if a spirit is stationary mindgaming you.

Shine like half a second in her eyes and if you notice the beam getting narrower and the blinding soundeffect playing then she's still there.

There should still be an indication ofcourse but this is something you can do right now if it's giving you trouble

  • This is like the second videogame chapter (third if you count bill) they haven't even scratched the surface.

No to mention they don't have all the horror movie classics either.

Don't worry dbd will long be dead before they run out of licences and i believe this game will probably run for 5 more years

  • The entity is probably winging these kind of things.

How much do these wooden things weigh? Idk man I'll just make them signal the killers brain with an overload of frustration whenever they get hit by them. That should work

  • Personal oppinion but i really don't like whispers. It's good at the start to pinpoint survivors locations and then i feel it just stays on constantly untill only 2 survivors are left and at that point i don't need whispers to win anymore.

I can see how it can be good but it's just too often a do nothing perk for me

  • Yeah that's the problem with do bones. For some reason nobody does it and doing it alone is just a hassle.

Making Noed basekit would probably be a nerf to it cause it might make survivors actually try and when they realise how easy it actually is if everyone does it

  • When people are talking about genrushing they are talking at how fast gens can go when fixed optimally and not pointing fingers at survivors doing said gens.

No sensible person is blaming survivors for doing their objective, they are blaming the game at how fast said objective goes if people ignore everything but the objective

Funny thing is that they boosted his emblems to not make him look even more bad lol, now if you get 4 escapes you don't depip unless you did terrible.

Yeah, it is straight up impossible now to not have iri chaser it feels

  • Terrible idea, With the way the game goes right now it should take a conciderable effort/skill of the survivors to break someone out of the killers grasp while carrying. Losing a survivor at that point is the biggest momentum breaker a killer can get as they went through the entire chase and got nothing of it.

Having 4 hooks at a side of a map permanently broken means if coordinate survivors would have a safe corner to go to where they can go down without concequences. That should never be the case.

Even on the survivor side this would be horrible as the way you combat this as killer is to kill the survivors one by one so you don't have multiple broken hooks with all 4 survivors alive which means they have to tunnel. Either that or don't bother with hooking at all and let all survivors do nothing for 4 minutes.

making this bug a feature is just a terrible idea all around. hooks need to be accessible for the fun of both sides

  • Kinda rough, been trying to learn trickster.

It also is so very clearly my aim being bad that i can't even blame it on it being a weak killer 😅

  • I'm hoping for william birkin but i'm pretty sure it's going to be mr. X

  • 170 perks currently.

There is bound to be some overlap by now so it's not really a problem. You can put them all together for a fun end game build now so that's something

    • and so what if unbreakable is meta?

So you don't know what slugging is because someone using unbreakable kinda ruins the point of slugging, and a one time use can win games, just use it to run to the hatch like people with unbreakable always do

    • an so what is borrowed time is meta

The killler has to hit you two times to down you? Let alone how also DS is meta so he can't pick you up again if he kills you, and if he goes after you he's not camping he's tunneling, use that speed boost and second chance Borrowed Time gives you to run to the hatch.

Winning for survivors is so easy, cheap and effortless, while the killer actually has to work for it. Funny, but kinda sad because it must be hard for survivors to not be able to play victim without being laughed at.

Unbreakabill is not enough to stop slugging on it's own. If you stop slugging cause you are afraid of there being an unbreakabill you are giving yourself a huge disadvantage.

The only time unbreakable really stops slugging is when all 4 are swf. If not and a person leaves a gen to go pick up a person that's picking themself up slugging is doing what it's suppose to do.

Slugging is extremly powerfull and if you're not doing it just because people might have a perk that allows them to get up once then that might be the reason why you're struggling with killer

  • It was a challenge that was bugged and only registered like 10 seconds of each match.

So they changed it to 2 seconds so people could get it done.

It was originally 90 seconds iirc

  • I didn't even know it was bugged

  • Most chapters get relooked at after 2 midchapters iirc so after the next chapter i think.

He's not good but with the new buffs he's not unplayably bad anymore. People now actually have a chance to get good at him. On pc atleast, on console he will always be bad by design.

Biggest tip i can give right now is don't always hold m1 in chase. Just tap it constantly. You throw ever so slightly slower but way more stable. Only hold m1 when they are animation locked.

I like Birkin a lot but if we could get a killer and a killer Legendary skin he fits the most ad a legendary skin to me for blight

Ow true, he would make a pretty awesome blight skin

  • Ow sorry mister killer, He apperently does not want to be friends.

    Killer: :'(

  • Never have i agreed more with someone

  • I don't think there is a single person alive that doesn't hate her.

  • I want the survivor to be Ashley and she has to scream Leon help! Every second a killer is carrying her

  • Babysitter could actually really use the new ds style of deactivates whenever you progress your objective.

Giving the unhooked survivor no scratchmarks or blood untill they touch a gen or totem or whatever would make it so much better without being abusable

  • Kinda weird i don't see much love for william birkin

    DCCpqfzU0AAOsgZ.jpg

Imagine starting out in his base form and as the game progresses he mutates into further phases untill he becomes that 6 legged monstrocity

  • Sad case of 2 things being called the same.

With bodyblocking they mean trapping a survivor in a corner and then going afk or survivors using some terrain bug to block the killer so he can't move or swing at them.

Trying to take a hit or obstructing obviously isn't bannable. Even bodyblocking a survivor in a corner for a minute is fine to prevent something like ds i think. It's when it's done in excessive amount that there is a problem

  • I've found infectious fright to be quite good. Have been able to get an extra health state or down with a main event i was normally just going to cancel

  • Child play chapter and my life will be complete

  • New killer is a zombie.

90% movement speed, no terror radius. When they down a survivor that survivor also becomes zombie and switches to the killer side

  • It only comes up for the first few matches.

New survivors are clueless enough and can use the help

  • Obviously because capcom wanted it revealed today with the 25 years re and all.

It always surprises me that people actually think the devs are desperate.

    Trickster > Legion

New Trickster's power is more consistent than Legion's. Legion should be no more than a low C-tier because of how inconsistent their power is. Trickster is at least able to counterloop some tiles. Legion is a basic M1 killer outclassed by Myers. Slowdown ability? Sure. But don't expect to hit everyone across the map with your power. Myers can one-hit all survivors for 60 seconds with easier setting up. Plus, his t3 at least gives him a bigger lunge and faster vault speed. Legion isn't much compared to him. Keep in mind you can only down survivors by M1ing them. Plague does Legion's job better, and Doc has better slowdown and tracking abilities. That's why I think Legion is the weakest killer in the game.

Sounds to me that your playing Legion wrong. Once you get used to it you can judge distance pretty well with killer instinct and if you feel you can't make it you just end your power walk over to them and use your power that has now refreshed.

Out of the m1 killers Legion is actually one of the better ones. Solid B tier.

Most people just insist of running to a healthy survivor on the edge of their terror radius to then fatigue in front of them and start chasing a healthy survivor normally.

Watch Raging Ryuga. He shows how to play them pretty well

  • It isn't that easy sadly.

This entire game revolves around momentum. At the start of the game the scales are completly tipped to the survivors. As the match goes on it slowly starts moving towards the killer. And once it starts tipping towards the killer it's very hard to push it back if the killer keeps their pressure up.

Genrush happens when the killer never gets their momentum ball rolling. Adding something to help help killers in the early game can very easilly mean their momentum starts going way sooner then survivors can deal with.

Not saying killers shouldn't recieve some help early game. Just want to point out it's not easy to find a right balance. The smallest change can make a huge difference

According to today's patch notes, the emblem bugs also got fixed.

    nvm, got it first try

The buffs helped a ton, not a high tier killer by any stretch of the imagination but certainly playable

    Ow sweet, missed that

Okay it's now just hard cause's he's weak

  • The buffs don't matter for the adept seeing how knives don't count for emblems.

His adept being hard is more that you need to play a 110 m1 killer while avoiding your power then him being weak

  • Imagine old freddy but survivors suffer from "incapacitated" while transitioning.

It would be perfect. Old Freddy gameplay without the shenanigans that made him weak

  • Would love to see kenny tbh.

I love that character and plenty of people wouldn't have a issue killing him

Even with spies from the shadows being a counter, most would rather complain about having to waste a slot for a perk that some consider "Sub Par" (Imo information is key, as a huntress main I run it just because it gives me an idea where I can throw hatchets) even though its a good "Counterplay option".. I mean, I've seen people run Adrenaline, Poised, Babysitter, and Distortion all in one package. Plenty of disappearing, but it's not really hard to get back on track of them. I'm curious how the new stuff will play out. I already have a bad time with Claudette's who play Blendett lol.

Yeah, i don't think it will really be a problem. It will be strong but mostly against the higher tier killers. The strongest part of it will be losing your first chase leaving you without any momentum all match

For spirit and nurse it's very strong. But for killers like bubba and billy with insta downs it shouldn't matter much. Legion doesn't wipe their weapon after a hit with frenzy so good luck dissapearing against them. Quite a few killers also have aura reading with some of their addons which will completly butcher this 2 perk combo.

It's really strong but against the right killers to be strong against. An actually interresting change imo
