You must have some serious health problems then.
-
It’s been like this ever since 2.2.0 when they sped up the grab animation.
-
Doctor's hands down. Shame it was never featured and overshadowed by the Lunar New Year and then default themes.
-
I see it more like Demogorgon minus the portals. A big monster that can leap at you. It would be really cool if the Xeno could use its tail and inner jaw as attacks in the game.

I think that they should add a cool down after shock therapy because he can just keep shocking you over and over again but I think his addons are ok a balanced.
He has one though. It’s 1.5 seconds. If he’s shocking you like that at a loop then he’s probably doing something wrong.
-
1.5x BP should be made baseline imo. The game felt so much better while it was active.
-
Yeah, her lore and video weren’t really anything special. No wonder you could complete it all on the first level of the Tome.
-
Some people don’t want to let go of the past I guess. Back when Tru3 was starting to show that Wraith is a good Killer like he did with Ghostface, so many people were against it. They couldn’t accept that Wraith wasn’t garbage. I’m glad that more people are seeing that Wraith isn’t the steaming pile of trash that people think he is.
-
More of these threads? Ok.
Doctor is fine and balanced. Here’s how to fix your problems:
- Stay out of his terror radius. If you get hit with Static Blast, then oh well. You’re not supposed to dodge it all the time. Survivors don’t need a hard counter to everything.
- Maybe it’s just because I’ve played a lot of Doctor and I’m used to it, but I think the charging up noise is fine. You can tell it apart from his terror radius music.
- His Shock Therapy can be dodged and requires timing to use properly. Drop pallets early or try to dodge it at loops. If he tries to constantly shock at a loop, then keep looping him. Using it slows Doc down by a LOT (I think he moves at like 70% speed) and can extend the loop for him, which is a bad thing.
-
Sometimes if they deserve it.
-
Just loop him. It’s really that simple. Doctor players need to get the shock timing right otherwise they risk extending the loop. He’s fine where he is.
Also if your first Killer game was a Merciless, then it was because you were up against four clueless Survivors and it’s easier to rank up at rank 20.
-
Why should I care if the Survivors depip? My job isn't to entertain them.

They do need to change 2 important things about him.
1) Deep Wounds timer should pause if you are in Madness 3. You can't do gens anyway, and you are forced to Snap Out before you can Mend. It's REALLY dumb that you have barely enough time to Snap Out before your Mend timer expires. If you miss 1 skill check or are forced to stop mid-Snap Out then you will go down from Deep Wounds and there is nothing you can do about it.
2) Madness 3 shouldn't block you from healing a dying survivor. Doc is the only killer that gets free slugs because he can put you into Madness 3 and now there is no way to heal the guy up off the ground. It's seriously dumb. Stop healing in general? Yes. Stop someone from healing a slug? NOOOOO.
They should also make it so shocks don't interrupt your actions if you have Calm Spirit. You don't scream, and no other screaming effect interrupts your actions, so it only makes sense.
Both BT 2 and 3 give you enough time to Mend and Snap Out of It. Just run away and immediately start the Snap Out of It and Mending processes. Only tier 1 doesn’t give you enough time, which is fine imo because it’s tier 1 of perk.
Madness 3 making it easier to slug is 100% fine. Healing is an action that his power prevents and slugging a viable strategy. It’s not that big of a deal if one Killer has something that gives them a slight advantage over the other. It’s just another way he keeps pressure on the Survivors.
Your Calm Spirit buff is a huge no-no. It would turn Doctor into a powerless Killer at loops. Remember when it didn’t stun Survivors? We’d be going back to those days. Also, the perk’s not stopping the shock from hitting you. You’re still going to get hit by the shock, so keeping the stun makes sense. All it does is make you not scream.
-
I love seeing multiple flashlights as Doctor. They'll be having fun once I put them in tier 3. No clicky clicky for you.
-
Doctor is objectively the greatest Killer in the game. You'll realize once you hear that precious laugh.
He's also pretty strong while not being super difficult to pick up. When it comes to teachable perks, you'll get a great one in Monitor and Abuse. It works wonders on a lot of other Killers.
-
I thought there was like a 25% chance of escaping a bear trap by yourself without any luck offerings. It's already low to begin with.
-
Johnny Test opening!
-
Worse. I’m convinced that this patch ######### up Killer movement speed, weapon hits, and lunge distance. I feel like I’m moving very slow (like under 90%) sometimes and that the lunge distance was decreased. I'll be chasing a Survivor and lunge, only for it to stop right before I hit them. We're both running in a straight line, no vaults or 360s or anything like that. I’m playing Doctor, a 115% Killer who doesn’t have any way to modify his lunge.
With weapon hits, it feels like if I’m just a tiny bit off the center of the Survivor’s body, then there’s a 50/50 chance it’ll hit or miss. I think the window change for Survivors ended up messing with Killers, and not in a way BHVR intended.
-
It took too long. Time is very important as a Killer.
-
I’d say take it one step further and just remove prestige. Increase the character level cap to 200 and have a bloody cosmetic unlock at levels 51, 101, and 151 (the equivalent of level 1 at each prestige).
-
Ultra Rare add-ons are supposed to be “gimmicky” for some reason. If they happen to be super strong, then that’s a bonus. The last two good UR add-ons we’ve gotten Doctor’s Iridescent Queen and Plague’s Black Incense. Maybe Deathslinger’s Exposed add-on but I’m not sure about it.
-
It was fun getting to play as Demogorgon, but I had more fun with the 3.5.0 update. Yeah that was where Ruin was reworked, but it was also where Doctor got his outstanding rework. I was over the moon once I got to play as him.
I used Ruin once on Doc, so it didn’t really affect me that much.

Slugging is taking the game hostage. I've ran into plenty of killers that think slugging is so clever and funny, leaving the last survivors on the floor to bleed out. I can't do anything in this situation. I have to crawl around in hope of maybe finding hatch if the killer hasn't already closed it and eventually bleed out, but if i leave prematurely then I will get nothing out of the match. So i have to sit there and wait.
Facecamping is taking the game hostage for that survivor, and mostly the team, they are denied of continuing the match and eventually led to die. Yeah, sure the team can counter this by doing generators but realistically, this isn't actually a solution, because it will happen to all of them and whilst the killer is rewarded for this behaviour, the survivor has to take a punishment and for what? trying to play the game but being forced to sit on hook because it's impossible to get off.
You don't have to camp the gates, as a killer, i tend to walk back and forth from gates in hopes of finding the survivor, hell sometimes, ill even let them escaping knowing that I killed the other three. But it is taking the game hostage because you shouldn't be camping the gates, you should be trying to find the survivors.
Taking game hostage by delaying how long the game goes on. The timer means that survivors eventually have to leave and the insta-kill on hook means that survivors can't struggle until their struggle timer runs out.
You have no clue what taking the game hostage is then. It means the game CANNOT end at all. You will be stuck there forever.
Looking at your definition of it, applying pressure as Killer would fall under taking the game hostage. Guess everyone should be banned then.
-
Dedicated Servers really screw her over. I've had streams of both Vile and Corrupt Purge go right through the Survivor.
-
Demogorgon and Pig can save all of their stacks because of their alternate attacks.
-
Intentionally trying to upset other players.

As I have seen as killer, there are only 4 pallets that aren't safe, also this map have literally almost every area, two pallets side to side, it's is a bullshit
Every pallet on the outside and the entire upstairs is completely unsafe. Most of the inside pallets are somewhat safe but can still be mindgamed. You must not be that good of a Killer if you think Hawkins has a lot of strong pallets.
-
What? There’s like three or four somewhat safe pallets on the map and the rest are unsafe as hell and can become guaranteed death traps. I love getting it as Killer, especially if I’m Doctor.
-
I feel really slow as Killer (Doctor specifically). It takes FOREVER to catch up to a Survivor now.
The new sensitivity is nuts as Killer. I had to lower it to 80% so I can get used to it.
As Survivor, the sensitivity makes me feel like the Flash when I’m running.
Also, why are the offerings so damn small on the offering screen?
-
They'll reveal another one soon. There's no way that BHVR is anywhere near finished updating the game.
-
Stuck in pallets as in you can't even break them and your game is over? I've been hearing that Killers are getting stuck to pallets and are forced to break them.

3 months ago - the devs went through with the Ruin changes and they nerfed Doctor, clearly they only care about survivors, look at the way they worded their developer update, they only care about survivor gameplay.
Now - this comment
Its hilarious watching these kinds of comments with my popcorn when three months ago it was the exact opposite.
You.Cannot.Please.This.Community.
Nerfed Doctor? What? They buffed him!
-
It seems like they brought back side blinds for some reason.
-
The Lightburn mechanic is just really stupid and should be removed entirely. It's basically giving Survivors with a flashlight a second DS.
-
It’s fine. Just use it at the right time or hope you can loop/hide from the Killer for 16 seconds.
-
Wait so the Entity blocker just never disappeared or could they not move?

I was really confused when I read the title...
"Decisive doesn't have addons, what the hell?"
Decisive Strike is the Killer now.
-
There's a wedding dress Claudette model? Do you have any pictures of it?
-
Holy #########! 999 Iridescent Heads and wallhacks. Shocked that there's no superspeed or anything else. BHVR needs to fix this ASAP.
It was hilarious seeing him play so bad even with the hacks.
-
I'd be down for that as long as we buff it to Hex-worthy standards.
-
Only if the Killer purposefully lets the Survivor bleed out.
-
We need Hex: Teabag.
-
I’ve only seen two Onis and I have no clue how to properly play against him.

Don't act like you've never done it.
No one is holy here.
You mean “Hatch tech” or DCing in general?
-
I’ll defend it if
- The player has an IRL situation
- They’re being held hostage
- Someone on the opposite team is hacking or abusing gamebreaking bugs/exploits
- The Killer and all three Survivors are farming you and the Killer isn’t trying to hook you
- The game crashed or their connection ######### up.
-
I heard that there was going to be a free trial all the way back in 2017 (to be exact September 15th-18th, 2017). The game always looked interesting to me, so I decided to check it out. I ended up loving the game and I purchased it about three weeks later.
-
So nerf something because you have bad luck? Ok then...
-
What? You've got to be kidding me. It already has a 90+ second cooldown.
-
Holy #########.
Holy ######### #########.
This many people are seriously DEFENDING disconnecting?! That's ######### pathetic, especially because slugging is a viable strategy accepted by the devs. The first page is a mess.

BBQ for Killer. I love getting double BP every game and the aura reading can be really helpful.
For Survivor, I don't know. It's hard for me to pick just one perk. My build is DH, BK, SC, and DS. DH and DS (as much as I hate it) are used for actual tunnelers (meaning I normally will not use it if we're in a situation where the Killer actually isn't tunneling) and BK and SC are used for healing purposes (and no, I'm not the kind of Survivor to run into a corner and SC or ignore others asking to heal me). Running BK actually reverses the healing nerf from 2.3.0 (12 seconds to heal others and 24 seconds to SC).
