Need another Silent Hill chapter with Valtiel and the amusement park as a map
Would be a waste imo, if they really wanna do a second SH chapter, they should go for a chapter that covers the rest of the SH games, that way we can also get the Pyramid Head Bogeyman skin from Silent Hill 4.

I think we have all the relevant ones now probably just need Harry.
Yes, but we should still try and get more characters, preferably all of the mentioned ones.

Yo, Smoe, thanks for the Ace detective work on that. I'm sitting here about to buy Maria to see myself. Hopefully it is a bug and not some SH-esque store puzzle to get the darn thing. 😂.
some SH-esque store puzzle
Get the UFO ending on Midwich Elementary during a trial to unlock the charm.

Yeah, It's a purple that looks like this. You should get it from either purchasing James or Maria skin. Did you get the UFO one for purchasing her too by chance? I haven't checked but I think for buying both skins you get 2 Charms (Doggo and UFO)
I can confirm that it doesn't give you the UFO, the dog you get from buying james or maria, but the UFO doesn't unlock from buying any of them.
Maybe it's bugged and they'll fix it in the near future or maybe they'll add it later, but it's not available as of right now.
-
I think the better question should be: When is Michael Kaufmann, the most important character in all of Silent Hill gonna get his legendary skin? /j
-
The Survivors wasn't doing any generators and the killer can easily destroy the turrets and look up or down to avoid being blinded.
Also the killer stopped moving entirely at the start when they entered the room.
Tell me again where the issue lies?
-
Hopefully not, getting more coldwind variants means having a higher chance of getting coldwind which is already a big no to me.
Also i much prefer daylight coldwind for aesthetic reasons.

I don't know, i did not read these. Just people are sharing this hint about Susie being lesbian.
I just looked it up on twitter and issue 3 isn't available early like i thought it was, it's just another issue 4 cover from one of the sites where you can pre-order the different covers for the issues. The issue 4 cover you've posted in the thread can be found on previewsworld.com
Also judging by issue 4's description, it's not too far off of an idea of Susie being that.

you can find online tho, they already got 3 issues. 4th is on the way.
But how can issue 3 be available? It doesn't release on both forbidden planet and titan comics until September 13th.

Yes, this picture is from issue 3 i think. Issue 4 which will come out at October is focusing on Susie.
But that's the thing, issue 3 hasn't released yet and issue 2 came out not that many days ago.
Where exactly did you find this cover?
-
Next issue focuses on Joey though, Susie is for issue 4.

Streamer's opinion on balance is only as valid as the average player and should not be treated as more important.
Streamer fanboys and sheeples do not deserve to be taken serious in any capacity when it comes to balancing of the game.
Wesker and Legion's chase music should be replaced by something that sounds like actual chase music and Deathslinger's chase music should be shortened.
Dbd has the highest chance of dying if bhvr ends up becoming a public company when the current owner dies.
Borgo is a way better setting for a Medieval map than a Castle map would ever be.
Nemesis does not need anything other than a QOL pass for his addons.
These are just off the top of my head

There is reason for that. The Plague's temple was brought TO THE RED FOREST by the Entity. All the realms are created by the Entity, based on what the Entity chooses Sure, they could move it to the desert, but it fits in the Red Forest because that's where The Entity chose to place it within the Entity's "copies" of the realms.
I'm aware, however lore reasons aside, i still would have prefered that bhvr just moved it to Eyrie or given it it's own realm.
-
@HaunterofShadows said:
The problem with supernatural coming to the game is that people like Lilith are actual figures in today's religions and bhvr wants to stay away from religions that are still in practice today
Judging by how their last 2 license surveys mentions movies like The Conjuring & The Nun, i don't think the idea of bringing in Survivors or Killers with ties to an active religion is something they're opposed to do entirely.
-
If we're gonna bring in the Addams, then i'd rather just get Wednesday from the Tim Burton series.
-
I would absolutely hate that, just like how i hate how Plague's map is set in Red Forest despite the fact that it's from Babylonia, so it should have been moved to something like Eyrie of Crows or better, just given it's own realm altogether to fit a desert environment.
I still hate how MacMillan, Autohaven and Coldwind have multiple variants, however it's understandable that they exist since they're from a time where the quantity of maps was really low.
Only map that fits an existing realm was Sanctum of Wrath, that's literally the only exception. I hope they continue to give each killer their own realm so we can continue to let each killer have a completely unique home map every time and reduce RNG from map offerings.
-
No, i played back since 2016 and I hated all the old realm visuals, i don't miss any of them one bit and never do i want to see any of them return, especially not MacMillan, Coldwind, Autohaven, Crotus, Springwood, Haddonfield (because genuinely ######### that map) and Hawkins.
The sooner we get rid of Swamp, the better.

While i partialy agree, i dont on some points. Yes in most case while they carry the embryo they die. In prometheus Dr.Shaw did remove her. The eggs are layed in some movies by the queen while others not. There many apparittion of the eggs in multiple movies without any presence of the queen. Prometheus is one first alien is one just to name those 2. I agree that if they get infected by the embryo should die. based on a timer, that doesnt hold them from doing objectives until then. But their could be side objectives to be done to reduce the chance of getting infected by one. Im not stucked to one particular idea, i just think anything would be nicer than the turrets. Especialy the huggers. There just iconic
Thing is, the whole embryo removal and if it can be done or not is frankly inconsistent.
Eg: Colonial Marines states that it cannot be removed without the host dying, however while in some alien comics, you got two hosts who've managed to remove their embryo implants by themselves, it usually boils down to if the plot calls it or not.
Also i wouldn't count anything from Prometheus as being the same as the Xenos in the later movies since those variants don't exist until Alien: Covenant, it's uncertain if the egg Doctor Shaw had inside her is similar enough to that of the Chestbursters since they're two completely different variants.
Regardless though, i stand by what i said, i'm satisfied with how Xeno's kit turned out and i firmly believe the Chestburster doesn't belong in it no matter how iconic it is because we're not playing as a hive queen, we're playing as the Xeno Drone from the first Alien movie, who don't lay eggs.

but why ? tell me your point why you wouldnt want it. i think i would incporate the face huggers with pods being static on the maps at certain location. Once you hit a survivor they would bleed attract facehuggers , then they would have to get rid of them not sure how, but i would add stages kind of a progression to it until fatality if they do not get rid of. If you do not get rid of it in time the chest would burst. kind of like a piggy trap ! id remove the turret and tone down and runner mode. maybe add a cd to the tunnels to balance it. somewhere around those lines
- The point of the Facehugger and the Chestburster is that Facehuggers puts someone in a coma for a short period of time, after which a Chestburster embryo is implanted inside the host with no safe way to remove it as it's meant as a death sentence for whoever carries it inside themselves, If they added the Facehugger & Chestburster as part of the Xeno's power kit to serve as a slowdown like Pig, i guarantee you that it would have been dumped down from how it was potrayed in the first movie and every other Alien movie for the sake of gameplay balance.
- The Xenomorph drone doesn't lay egg, The Hive Queen does. Having a Xenomorph Drone spawn egg would be out of character.
- The power should revolve around The Xenomorph drone itself as seen in the first Alien movie since that's what the chapter is based on and not around an aspect of the Xenomorph race in general.
All in all, for what we ended up with, The Xenomorph is potrayed in-game with the majority of it's aspects from the first movie, only thing really missing is the Wall Crawling.
-
Aside from the Wall Crawling missing, i'm pretty satisfied with how Xeno's current kit is designed, also honestly glad that Facehuggers wasn't included as part of the power.
-
Already read through all 2 currently released issues and it's honestly really good, there has been no continuity issues with it so far from the established Legion lore. (Also i love the way many of the facial expressions are drawn in issue 1, genuinely funny if not downright exploitable to use for reaction images.)
it's also doing what i've wanted bhvr to do for Legion's tome, give each of the Legion members a tome.
i'm curious to see how it's gonna handle the store robbery scenario in issue 4 and how it's gonna tie both the tome cinematic and the base lore together, whatever it ends up doing will be the canon scenario to Legion's lore.
All in all, i hope we get to see more dbd comics in the future and get cosmetics in-game from the comic like Frank's knife or the early versions of the Legion masks seen at the end of Issue 2.
-
This should honestly have been done long ago.
-
No, keep the steam trap exclusively for the Nostromo.
Other maps should have their own type of interactive features unique to them.
-
The old animations was legitimately some of the most clunky and awful animations i've seen in video games, i say good ######### riddance to it and never come back.
-
One of the best cult classic horror movie villains there is, definitely deserve to be in this game.
-
Not the first time it's been requested, but like always, it is completely out of both the players & dev's hands, as bhvr must respect and obey the wishes of every license holder they have a partnership with.
As disappointing as that is, it's the reality of things and there's frankly no way around it unless Konami changes their minds by some non-existing miracle.
-
Got a few new Add-On ideas from my Knight improvement thread that i made back in April.
-
Guardia Compagnia's Insignia
- Guards who performs a breaking action on a Pallet, Breakable Wall or a Generator will patrol back to the Patrol Path's point of origin.
Black Cloak
- Guards during Patrol emits your Terror Radius.
- Gain the Undetectable Status Effect for the duration of the Guard Patrol.
Improved Armor
- The Knight teleports himself to end location of the Patrol Pathing.
- A Guard is summoned to the location of the Patrol Path's point of origin and begins the Guard Patrol from that location instead.
- The Pathing Orb becomes visible to Survivors.
- Survivor grabs are disabled for the duration between when the Patrol Pathing is active & when it ends.

Also the TCM devs has said that if Bubba leaves dbd then it won't be because of their game which directly contradict dbdleak's explaination
Well, from what I recall, that was their 'most likely reason why', not what they stated was the actual, matter-of-fact reason. But also, TCM devs are not the proprietors of the TCM license, are they?
as well as Mathieu Cote himself has straight up said in his interview with Slasher Radio that they never wanted to remove content in the first place.
Okay, but BHVR has lied before, so I don't think Mathieu's word is infallible.
Why would bhvr lie about not wanting to lose content that makes them money? That makes 0 sense, especially as Mathieu has as a matter of fact even stated that they've tried to bring Stranger Things back as a time-limited offer, however that never panned out because Netflix straight up ignored them. I have no reason to doubt Mathieu's words on this and neither do i believe that they would want to lose any of their other licenses (Leatherface especially) when they've repeatedly called dbd the hall of fame of horror. Also Cote has gone on record stating in another interview that while it's not always possible to keep the option of licensed dlcs being available to be purchasable, they will fight tooth and nail to keep the option of being able to buy them available.
Also tell me this, was there ever any actual concrete evidence of gun getting exclusive rights to use tcm for video games that would cause Bubba to be pulled from DBD or any other game?
Was there ever any actual concrete evidence other than one post about Bubba's perks becoming universal perks that never ended up happening in the end which dbdleaks had nothing but assumptions and speculations to back their claims up with?
Was there any actual evidence behind dbdleak's claim of what bhvr was or wasn't gonna do or what the license holder would or wouldn't do with the license agreement bhvr has with them? Because they could not know unless they have a direct leak of a conversation between both parties or some leak of the contract bhvr has with the license holder.
As far as i can tell, they don't actually know anything of actuality behind what or why Bubba's perks appeared as universal perks in the game files and just assumed he was getting removed because that's what happened with Demo's perks, however as we can clearly see that it wasn't the case and yet they try to act like they were still right in the end by giving us a bunch of speculating reasons for why what happened the way it did which they can't backup with a single shred of concrete proof.
-
@Firellius said:

From what I've heard, it's a little different. When it was time to re-negotiate the license, BHVR initially didn't want to renew it, which is why the placeholders showed up on PTB. However, when DBDLeaks claimed Bubba was going to be discontinued, BHVR changed their plan and re-licensed him, as they could now use this to discredit leaks.
Their whole explanation behind why bubba didn't leave after all is nothing but speculation on their part purely based on an assumption that the perk changes in the files was actually going to be implemented, there was never any actual concrete evidence that it was gonna happen other than just that, an assumption treated as a fact.
Also the TCM devs has said that if Bubba leaves dbd then it won't be because of their game which directly contradict dbdleak's explaination, as well as Mathieu Cote himself has straight up said in his interview with Slasher Radio that they never wanted to remove content in the first place.
But no, watch as people from dbdleaks refusing to take the L and continue to act like they were still right in the end despite the leak not being so out of pure copium.

I like Claudette's lore and she has cute cosmetics so maybe her? Have a soft spot for Nea and Yui as well, both have great cosmetics and they're cute as hell.
Least, I don't know, maybe Feng or Steve, I'm probably biased considering they're the most toxic in my experience. I don't really like Vittorio either if only cause the medieval theme was squandered.
Because Vittorio's main theme was never Medieval focused, it was always about exploration and realm-traveling.
-
@AetherBytes said:
No. He's probably thinking about when Bubba perk renames were leaked. From what I understand, it was a trap to catch the leaker, and he wasn't actually leaving.
Which makes the fact that we got people like Dvveet from dbdleaks on twitter still trying to act like both that and the Stranger Things returning leak was still correct all along by making two massive tweet threads to explain why they were correct all along despite both not being so all the more funny.
-
I don't really feel the need to justify why i play dbd, i do it because i want to and that to me is enough of a reason to have.
-
More interactive maps is something i've been wanting for a while now, that and map hazards that causes unique effects for either Survivors or Killers.
-
Best: Ace, Vittorio, Bill, Ash, James and Nic Cage (Honorable mention: Jonah)
Worst: Haddie, Renato & Thalita (dishonorable mention: Mikaela)
-
Imma be real, while the music isn't bad by any means, the 12 meters, 4 meters and chase track feels too upbeat to fit the Xenomorph imo, it's missing that sense of isolation in space during a life and death situation that it's suppose to intensify when running from The Xenomorph, even Xeno's official chase track feels like it has that to it despite the Nostromo ship alarm blarring in the chase track itself.
Also i'm probably the only one who think this, but i'm not really a fan of chase music being too long in-game given how quick chases ends alot of times or how often some killers breaks from and re-enters chase (deathslinger specifically), causing the chase music to constantly cut in and out at random time points in the tracks.
-
We don't have an official answer, but there are likely possibilities as to how and why if we remember just what The Entity is capable of in the first place.
Given the power scale and abilities of The Entity, it's not unrealistic or unthinkable that it's more than capable of tricking a Xenomorph into Servitude, after all it's already gotten a Demogorgon to do it's bidding as well.

More people tend to vote if it's private for some reason, at least from my experience.

It's too similar to Trickster's lobby music, they should make an entirely unique one just like every other Survivor with their own theme.
I still hate that they didn't make an entirely new lobby theme for Cheryl but instead just used Pyramid's theme.

Yes.
I'm sure you also have some killers you hate playing against as well.

There is much to be desired from the cosmetics available for most survivors. It is quite weird. DBD makes most of their money over-charging for cosmetics, yet they don't seem to be able to make cosmetics most people would want on many characters.
BTW... Bill.. WTH DBD... when.. when will he get cosmetics? Its kinda inexcusable at this point. its like a meme that he hasnt gotten any.
They can't sell bill cosmetics for cash, so it's less likely to come, only reason he got one in his tome is because it's mandatory per tome.
Also there's nothing wrong with the cosmetics we have, they may not be for you personally but there's going to be people who likes them and it's always good to have variety in cosmetics.
-
Probably not since i don't really have any plans at playing TCM.

I think it was Cote that said it in a livestream once, that after the removal of the Stranger Things license, they've decided to make sure to negotiate future licenses so that doesn't happen again.
Where has Cote said that exactly?
Closest i've seen him come to saying that is in the Paulie Esther & King interview back in October 2021, where he says that characters/dlcs you buy will be usable for you for as long as DBD as a game exist, however that the option of still being able to buy a character/dlc if a license should expire is not always gonna be possible but that they're fighting tooth & nail to keep the possibility.

The 3 gen problem has two parts to it, and both need to be addressed at the same time.
1) Killers that are just patrolling and kicking generators, and refusing to commit to a chase with a survivor, is a major problem.
2) Survivors that are excessively pre-leaving generators before the killer arrives, and refusing to commit to repairing generators, is a major problem.
Any 3 gen fix that addresses problem 1, without addressing problem 2, will just encourage survivors to get easy wins by excessively pre leaving generators. For example, if BHVR just forces a generator to be super far away, then survivors can excessively pre leave generators, and easily win, because the travel time between generators is too long for the killer to defend. If BHVR forces generator regression to have a limit, then survivors will excessively pre leave generators until the max generator regression happens, then they get their easy win.
I'm aware of the problems behind 3 gen, i'm not sure why you're telling me about it when my comment was asking if anything has changed in terms of a release date since the last answer they gave to the 3 gen issue and Skull Merchant changes at the reddit AMA 1 month ago where they didn't give a release window at the time.
-
@Mandy said:
The 3 gen situation as a whole is being looked into, we are also going to revisit Skull Merchant, she has had some updates but we do want to address the 3 gen potential. Unfortunately neither of these things are quick fixes and with limited time and bandwidth it's not something that can be rushed out. However, we have not forgotten about these two things and they are actually being worked on.
I know there wasn't any ETA for the change to 3 genning and Skull Merchant's update during the most recent AMA, however since 1 month has passed, is there any date or rough estimation for the release period that can be offered at this point in time?

If any indie horror games are to be included in DBD, then the following games should be considered.
- Tormented Souls
- The Coma 2: The Vicious Sisters
- Afraid of Monsters
- SOMA
- Monstrum

what horror vibe?
Every map is brighter.
there is a k-pop killer, a knight, and a lady with a bedazzled mask.
the last Halloween event featured candy weapons for killers and x-ray t-shirts for survivors.
this current event features a bbq theme and margaritas.
we have nicolas cage.
DBD is not a horror game.
Dbd is still objectively defined as a horror game as it was made as one, just because it isn't 100% serious in it's tone does not mean it isn't horror anymore.
Also Trickster very much is horror, his lore and mannerism showcases this, not all horrors are your conventional tall masked machete wielding slasher.
-
That depends entirely on the license, if it's a horror anime license then i'd say chapter, if not then cosmetics.

HUNK is a legendary skin, all legendary skins and ultra rare skins have all their cosmetic pieces linked together and cannot be bought or used seperately.

I would think so along but wouldn't it be weird seeing the tyrant going mac7 in .3s and he's fast but not that fast
The movement animation are an aesthetic more than anything else and they've already previously changed the movement animation for the Legion HUNK skin, changing it from Nemesis running to Mr. X walking fast wouldn't be an issue anyway since Mr. X can walk fast in RE2 if you start shooting him.
What i do think is an issue and what's holding Mr. X back from becoming a Nemesis legendary skin would be the fact that Nemesis' power is his tentacle which Mr. X doesn't have.
