That is very true. Put on slow down and aura perks and any killer will hit rank 1 in no time.

What do you want them to do? They've slowly but steadily been nerfing survivors and buffing killers for years now. Yes, you could point to the small nerfs killers like Freddy have gotten, but the overall trend has very much been a buff. Mind you most of those changes were needed in my opinion, but honestly how much more do killers want?
This is a great point. Killers have been buffed constantly and survivors have been nerfed constantly.
If there is a shortage of killers it is because the role is too ez and not challenging. When the game was more fair killer queues were abysmal.
But it really is exaggerated because most of the time survivor queues are very instant and killers have to wait. It only changes at certain times of the day. It is a false rumor that killers are not wanting to play because it is too hard. Killers should stop saying that.

@Seraphor said:
So if the stats for kills NOT using slowdown perks comes out lower... will you advocate for slower gen speeds?
If killers are weak and losing most games. But it is far from that. Killers are winning most games.
-
A killer will all of those perks is overpowered. I took a few days off and played again tonight and it was high mobility killer after high mobility killer abusing BBQ, Ruin, and all of those perks for an ez win at 4 and 5 gens. Survivors are entirely too weak to play against what killers crutch on every game.
-
Tunneling is a free perk for all killers. No consequences.
-
He is overbuffed. I feel robbed when they get on your tail and uncloak and there is nothing you can do. The lunge from uncloaking is a bit too much. Watch every Wraith cloak and then uncloak to get a 10 meter reach. This huge advantage shouldn't come with very fast movement speed too.
-
I agree maps are getting empty with less and less pallets with every update. Autohavens is notorious for having large areas with nothing and it is unbalanced for killer to have a free down. Something is bad wrong or it is purposely set to put in deadzones on maps. A gen should never be in the middle of a large deadzone, making it impossible to work on against a 1-shot killer.

Oh my lord he didn't even mention Object, I guess Sluzzy's in a really good mood today.
No worries, imma go play with a 'godly' Killer perk like buffed Zanshin Tactics on the S tier Killer Trickster and get EZ 4ks. See you soon Sluzzy!
Windows of Opportunity shouldn't have a cooldown either if Zanshin Tactics was buffed. But we know which side is catered to.

Yeah like we haven’t seen the Twins gets nerfed after people kept complaining about them.
Victor was a bit OP. Didn't they only increase the timer by a couple of seconds? Yet they buffed the twins in several other ways. Lucky Break timer was nerfed in half. That's a big difference.
-
If they allow a perk like Tinkerer, Starstruck, or even BBQ to be in the game for years, then a Lucky Break buff is way overdue. They never buff survivor perks.

Not a killer main, I'm a 50/50 player lol
Here is some of my survivor gameplay as proof, something you fail to provide in most to all of your threads:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMSyE7gxc8g&ab_channel=Yords
Not an anti-tunnel hmm? Well then explain to me how a perk that discourages the killer from going after the same survivor is not an anti-tunneling perk.
Checkmate, sluzzy.
Because facecamping is not the only way to tunnel. A killer can return to the hook after you try to heal or do anything useful and proceed to tunnel.
-
@Yords said:
If you are doing any of what you listed, you aren't being tunneled so DS should not be up.
This is why the devs should stop listening to all and only killer mains. Killer mains have a strict definition that only facecamping and downing at the hook and picking back up is tunneling. But that is far from the truth. Right now, it is neither an anti-tunnel perk or a decisive strike.
-
It punishes you for playing the game and the killer is rewarded from it. Why does a perk deactivate for playing the game? Sprint Burst doesn't deactivate for healing or doing a gen. It's not very appealing to equip a perk that means you have to stand with your hands tied to keep it. Very bad.
-
No, they always listen to killers more.
-
It is very killer sided. Undying was far from balanced, it was actually a free win. It still is with Ruin or Devour Hope. Killers have hardly been nerfed, all of the buffs outweigh the small insignificant killer nerfs. Overall, killer perks have been overwhelmingly buffed or new strong ones released where survivor perks have been nerfed. And maps are now very killer sided. And finally, hitboxes and pallets are in killer's favor. Survivors at all ranks go down too fast and killers snowball too easy with unfair slowdown perks. Killers crutch their wins with Ruin and POP and tinkerer.
Killers win too much.

Yes and thanaphobia doesn’t work on dead people even though it’s the fear of death
That's a very minor detail that could be fixed. With decisive strike, it is nowhere close.

The name is irrelevant.
It would be like sprint burst that doesn't really give you a sprint burst.
-
It is not a decisive strike. It's a fake perk.
-
Definitely
-
Killer is a lot easier to win.
-
There is no counterplay to his lunge. He is an ez mode killer now like Freddy. Every wraith cloaks, gets on your tail and then uncloaks and there is nothing you can do. Extremely unbalanced.
-
There is plenty of hooks on the map, plus basement hooks that are indestructible. Killers need to put away their meta perks and use agitation for a change. Breakdown was so garbage before, this is a good buff for it.

I love how you keep saying these things but never provide any real evidence to back up your claims.
All you have to do is play the game, killers almost always win. It's not hard to see how overpowered killers are. Perks, maps, everything is in the killer's favor.
-
Killers already win effortlessly and most get their free wins already. The balancing needs to change to make killers feel like they are actually winning and not having the game give them free wins.

If you nerfed him though, it would encourage bubba players to facecamp more.
They do that anyway. I would like to point out his saw lasts so long that he can hit through borrowed time. That's not fair.

There's no problem with having an opinion, but there IS a problem with making bait posts that everyone has to sift through in order to find valuable discussions that are worth any amount of time.
This is a valuable discussion because something that is pay to win is badly unfair. He is a walking NOED now and most maps don't have enough pallets to stop him. You have to throw the pallet down every time because his saw lasts so long he can walk all the way around the loop. Not bait post but an awareness posts that killers are too overpowered.
-
Why does he need buffed? He's already strong. You do not escape a good trapper. Once someone is in the basement, they are dead.
-
Keys and hatch is the only thing keeping killrates what they are. Freddy would have a 95% killrate. Everyone knows you can't open the gates against a Ruin+Tinkerer Freddy. It's the only bit of hope there is most matches.
-
It's hard to measure skill when it is all about luck. Every survivor in the game is going to score bad on the MMR if the killer is a certain killer with slowgen perks and tinkerer. Maybe they are realizing MMR won't work with how strong killers are.
-
It's impossible to win as solo queue unless the killer is brain dead. Killers are so overpowered only a coordinated sweat team can win. Survivors nerfed too much, killers buffed too much.

that is pretty unfortunate that you've played enough to get carried to red ranks and still think these things
It's honestly worse seeing all the killers winning because of their perks. Ruin, Tinkerer, BBQ, Undying, Corrupt every game.

What rank are you?
Red, unfortunately.
-
What? That addon is the worst. Iri-Head I cannot believe is still going to be in the game. I am not happy at all with the Huntress nerf because they are not even wanting to fix her basekit which was broken. 5 uncounterable hatchets? No cooldown?

As someone who plays both killer and survivor I can ask that question in reverse.
Why do survivors need
dead Hard
Unbreakable
Spine chill
and Borrowed time
sometimes all the in the same build
but I don't think this is something you want to hear.
Those survivor perks don't win the game. Killers have a habit of slugging for the fun of it so unbreakable is obviously needed. They all require the killer to do something, like camp, slug, etc. Killer perks on the other hand automatically puts the game massively in their favor making a good killer a god and a bad killer good. Killer perks are way too strong and killers win too much because of them.

At this point, the OP's posts have become borderline embarrassing in their utter lack of creativity, rational thinking, or even amusement factor. Some people actually come here to have reasonable discussion about topics that affect the game or to talk about fun things that happen to them while they're playing. The OP's posts are nothing more than bandwidth waste, taking up space on the front page when someone with something actually intelligent to say about the game could have their post residing there instead.
The OP's well-documented match against a well-known streamer, where they quit on their team after being downed ridiculously easily in the first 30-45 seconds of the match by a simple Hillbilly sprint at them, shows why they have ZERO credibility to discuss anything about the game at this point. I would hope that the constant bait posting would warrant some attention by the mods, since they add zero constructive substance to actually discussing the real issues that do crop up in the game itself, from both sides.
Whatever the OP's motives are with the continual bait, their rhetoric has gotten old, boring, and stale. Your horse has been dead for a long time already -- stop beating it, for the love of God.
This is a public forum, not a "killer's main" only forum. They can ban me if they wish but it would mean they only allow killer mains to post here.

Wait do you actually mean the ######### you're spewing
Yes I am. Killers like Spirit, Billy, Blight, Nurse, Huntress and the others don't need perks at all to win because they are so strong. All of these perks are just enabling god mode on a broken killer.
-
@MadLordJack said:
Not to burst your bubble or anything, but it's not exactly like using strong perks is unique to killers.
In fact, I believe there's a term for it. If only I could remember... Wait, no, I do! It's "meta perks"! Wow, who would have thought there was a term for the perks that are strong an easy to use that crosses the boundary of Survivor and Killer!
The meta on the killer side is a free win and it needs nerfing. It's totally broken.
-
You got it wrong, all killers are too easy because survivors are way too weak. Spirit is not only too easy but has no counterplay, no matter how good the survivor is, if the killer has a good headset and has played the killer only a few hours, maybe has the same broken slowdown perks and aura perks, there is no way the survivor can win.
-
@Demogorgeouse said:
SWF over comms is OP, it's basically free wallhacks. If you think SWF is fair you don't play enough killer.
I'm sorry to enlighten you but half of the killer perks are all wallhacks and prevents the other side from even doing the objective. Killers are so blatantly overpowered that a perfect genrush is the only way to possibly win, with comms I might add. Half of the killers have zero counterplay or not enough counterplay. If you don't see that, you don't play enough survivor.
-
There is a lot of favoritism for killers. It's pay to win for killers. All you have to do is look at Leatherface, Freddy, and now they plan to buff Demogorgon when he doesn't even need it. BBQ has been PTW and never having any nerfs, with how broken the aura reading is. It's obvious how broken the perk is on a killer that is high mobility.
For Survivors it is Bait and Switch. After everyone bought Laurie and Ash, they nerfed their perks into uselessness. Only killers should buy licensed chapters because they get what they need. RE will be another PTW chapter for killers.
-
@Hoodied said:
Okay I am scared cause I can't tell if its bait anymore myself
No, I literally just played against a Nurse with it. Hooked a person and blinked straight to me. I feel cheated by the perk.
-
Gen speeds should be faster, not slower. It's too easy for killer to do their objective. Because maps are so nerfed survivors are all going down instantly, every match and with all the slow down perks that already exists, there is no way to finish the gens. It's bad when matches resort to hook farming instead of doing gens since they are practically impossible to do.
-
Only 1 map and killers are still winning on the map. All other maps need some buffing because killers down too quickly.
-
Killers already have everything they need to beat SWF. BBQ, Ruin, Tinkerer, NOED. It's unreal. Killers almost never lose.
-
Survivors and maps have been nerfed to hell since Spirit and Huntess came out. They were overpowered when they came out, now they are straight up broken. Crutch killers for 4Ks every game. When I see them I literally want to go to sleep because no matter what you do you won't win.
-
Killers are so OP that Otz can only possibly lose if he makes a mistake and the 4 survivors plays totally perfect. A single survivor mistake and they are all dead. It's very in favor of killers when you watch Otz kill the survivors and hardly breaking a sweat. Too much is required from the 4 to win.

Welp, that answers my question to Blight being a crutch killer. Can you answer the other question I put on your wall?
I had to go read what gearhead does. lol So gearhead actually reminds me of some survivor perks, a powerful perk but is situational. Take some effort to do, unlike BBQ or tinkerer that is completely no effort and brokenly overpowered.
