I’ve been playing solo because all my friends that I play dbd with are never on most of the time, I think they might have even stopped playing completely. I’ve been playing solo q since then and it’s just hell. Teammates go down too quick, people get left on struggle sometimes even death hook, killers will camp and tunnel someone out early game and there’s just no coordination or common sense it feels like. If anyone wants to SWF in the future let me know cause I can’t take solo at the moment.
It's time for a wake up call, solo q was always hell.

Ghostface cuz I know once the date is done, he'll follow me home instead of leaving me on read.

Let's get rid of the more pressing issues, like sbmm, then we can revisit this.

Chris's by far has the best scream.

Just watch a youtube video or scroll through your social media. Not playing for 5 minutes won't be the end of the universe.

I wish maps were more random. I would love it if killer had a 40% choice of which map gets selected, and survivors had a 10% chance (collective 40%). With the last 20% being "random."
I get so sick of going to MacMillan and Autohaven 24/7 and then getting offering after offering of those two maps. Better than Badham, I guess... But I like variety.
I agree with the first commenter. I don't even remember the last time I got Gideon. Maybe last week?

That pops in like the first 30 seconds. I was running it on pig because it was the only totem defense I had on her and I swear it never went early like ruin or undying. Is it just me or do survivors not spawn on HG.
Try to make it obvious it's an important totem like devour hope. Make them want to cleanse it. I don't use hex perks too often but when I do, I try to make my haunted ground like devour hope.

Let's not deflect on my topic please, this is an example picture. It's not talking about the perks, only the meta ones that get milked to no end
I've said my piece and you think it's deflecting your topic.
Upsetting. Have a good day.
-
I have no clue why an audio bug was mentioned in this but whatever.
Staying on topic though, you're doing adept when twins is already weak with weak perks to boot. Dunno what to say. Just use better perks.
-
Don't friend anyone. You will see their toxic sides in due time. It's better to play with real life family or friends since you know how they behave outside the game.
-
Noed and undying is a lot more frustrating than you think, and blood warden to boot.
-
Also her distant moaning and hook screams are so horrible to hear, I have to mute my speakers for the duration I chase and hook her. It doesn't hurt my ears, the effort of the voice actor reflects the quality we got, which was not all that great.

Because I have no idea what "Accuracy to the characters" means.

I ran track all the time in high school and I never got cluster headaches from running. I'd be miles away from legion.

He only escapes F because people who enjoy legion will like pinhead. Otherwise play any other killer, and they will outperform him in any game.

When boon totems become a thing, I think that the effects will start when the totem is cleansed.

His power is niche at best, really bad at worst. Possessed chain gives me whiplash and motion sickness every time I use it. Only buy the chapter for the scourage hooks.

I learn a lot of different playstyles from people who play killer, and it helps me adapt.

im out, im actually out. its over. i dont care if wahh wahhh qq get over it, "killer mechanics" its so boring its to the point people actually que up for a match and legit cannot play they just get downed and camped to death. its killing this game and my friends refuse to play anymore.
Then leave. You don't need to make a rant post about it.

I don't want to hear from people who think they are genuinely doing nothing wrong. They won't listen to me and my frustrations so I don't want to listen to them. He has missed the ENTIRE point of this discussion so he can get off of it. I've read many comments from other killers who play like this and none of them have irked me other than this guy.
Glad to know you don't like me. I don't really care. It's the internet and it's a video game. Get over yourself.

I remember seeing attack on titan as an option, though I have no clue how that would ever be implemented in a game like this.

My index finger has had enough click and holds already.. If I'm holding down Mouse1 and hover over a node, it should consider my intention as wanting to unlock that node. I shouldn't need to release m1 to move on to other nodes.
I agree, I wish there was an option on the bloodweb itself, perhaps maybe called "fast mode" which makes leveling so much faster.
I don't spend my bloodpoints until I get to around 850k, and usually spend them all in one sitting. I'd rather not have to spend 5-10 minutes destroying my index finger for just a few levels.

Easy - Wraith, Leatherface, Trickster, Michael, Freddy, Legion, Clown
Intermediate - Hillbilly, Huntress, Hag, Spirit, Demogorgon, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Nemesis, Ghostface, Doctor, Pig
Hard - Nurse, Oni, Blight, Twins, Pinhead
I would rather they describe killers with a brief description of how the power works. Mobile / Stationary power usage (Blight / Nemesis, for example) as well as Semi-Chaser / Chaser / Stealth / Trap set / Unique killers (Doctor / Oni / Michael / Hag / Twins). This could give players a greater idea of how their power will function prior to playing them.
For example. Blight = Mobile Chaser || Doctor = Stationary Semi-Chaser || Wraith = Mobile Stealth || Freddy = Mobile Trap set || Pinhead = Stationary Unique
I agree. Even leaving basic tips on how to use the killer's power is good as well.

Restart your game. It's most likely a UI issue.

With pinhead's voicelines removed, I doubt it.

I might be in the minority here.
Bad deathslingers make the game too easy and are very unfun for everyone.
Good deathslingers scare me and destroy me.
-
Surge always sounded underwhelming. Discharge sounds a lot cooler.

Only map I ever DC from is if I get raccoon because that map is horrible for this game. the corners are way too linear, the map itself is way too big, and I get lost often, on both sides, even with aura reading abilities and items.
For everyone else, who knows? They might not like the killer they have to play against, what perks they have, what items they brought, or how long the chase was. There are many factors that go into someone disconnecting.

So you admit you are part of the demographic doing this. Got it. Your opinion on this thread genuinely does not matter if you openly admit to face camping and/or tunneling and think it’s completely justified. Please get off of my thread
Yikes. Kicking someone out of your thread? Very toxic behavior.

Time in-game when I started: 102 hours
Time in-game when I finished:
The Undertaker:
Terror Radius: 32 meters
Speed: 4.6m/s (115%)
Height: Tall (6 foot 3 inches)
Ambient Sounds: Ragged, slow, raspy breath.
Weapon: The "Spoon" (a rusty, broken shovel)
Successful Basic Hit Animation: The Undertake runs his palm across the shovel's blade, wiping some blood off.
Concept Art: (Coming soon (possibly))
--------
Power: Beyond The Grave;
When the ability key is pressed and held, after 3 seconds, a bunch of decrepit, rotten hands burst through the ground. From the moment they emerge from the ground, the hands will move in the direction that the player is facing at 3.7 m/s. The Undertaker moves at 4.3 m/s while using this ability. At any point, the player can let go of the ability key to leave the hands in place, still grasping at the air. However, after 7 seconds of not moving the hands, they will disappear. While being controlled, the hands have a white aura, which switches to yellow when not in control and slowly fades to red up until the 7 second mark where they disappear. Whenever the player feels like it, they may regain control of the hands to move them again, the animation for which takes 1 second. Whenever a survivor steps into the grasp of the hands, they will latch on to their ankles and begin pulling on them. Survivors currently being grabbed obtain the Hindered (-15%) and Exhausted status effects for the duration that they are held onto, with Exhausted lasting 5 seconds afterwards. Survivors also can’t vault while being grabbed. But, survivors can free themselves from the hands with a 4 second animation, after which that set of hands dissipates. There can only be one cluster of hands at any time, and re-casting the ability while a set of hands is idle spawns a new set. When a set of hands dissipates, there is a 4 second cooldown before you can spawn another cluster. When a survivor is hit while being grabbed, they automatically break free of the hands and destroy them.
--------
The Undertaker's Teachable Perks;
Hex: Maggot Meal: When a survivor is put into the Dying State, their recovery speed is reduced by 30%/40%/50%. Also, said survivor's bleed-out speed is increased by 100%/125%/150%. And for every survivor currently hooked, gain an increase of 1%/4%/7% to entity speed. (The last effect is a flat affect, and not caused by a survivor going into the Dying State.
Ferryman's Fee: After sacrificing a survivor, gain a token. When a token is gained for Ferryman's Fee, it will distribute a single token to every other token perk you may have, other than to itself. It also grants an increase of 1%/2%/3% to entity speed.
Scourge Hook: Six Feet Under: When a survivor dies on a scourge hook, reveal the auras of any survivors who have been unhooked from a scourge hook. Also, grant a flat 5%/12%/19% regression to all generators with more than 80%/60%/40% progress. The auras of generators regressing due to this perk are shown in white.
--------
Beyond The Grave Add-ons:
Brown Add-ons:
Fake Dirt:
Causes hands to dissipate tremendously faster (-4 seconds)
Increases Bloodpoints by 100% for usage of Beyond The Grave

I only wanted to see the perks, and I feel like these perks are way too situational and are not substantial enough to work on their own.

They mean the challenges from the rift that make you play your character in a counter intuitive way.
If they mean tomes, then yeah. Just do the challenge and move on. I had to throw countless games to get them done, especially the generator challenges for survivor that had to be completed in one game.
-
You seem like you are upset with the passive-aggressive title.

Play the game how you want to and ignore the haters.
It's how I get any enjoyment anymore playing the game.

Hell even there jumpsuits would be amazing.
Would look good on survivors too, wouldnt mind scaring my teammates.
Let's get licenses that actually represent the characters well first, before we bring any new ones in.

Use Stake Out with Yun-Jin's perks.
Everyone will hate you, including the killer. Guaranteed.

@MeltingPenguins said:
As they quite probably still code with program like blueprint, no.
I know the devs say they switch to plain text coding by now, but given some bugs this smells more of visual coding.
To explain: blueprint is a visual coding software that allows one to program via connecting boxes of commands. This can be great, but the more complex a game gets, the more of a messy ball of yarn it becomes. And if they are using both now, visual and plaintext coding... it might be even more of a gallimaufry, as importing and exporting between programs might mess things up even more. Especially when you forget to change a related box when you make changes such as what checks for hitbox collision (for hits and interacting with things), what graphic to use, etc.
So, yeah. It's the spaghetti code.
Bugs like these are fundamental errors in design. The second floor pallet in Gideon is unbreakable on one side, making a chase so much longer than it needs to be. I've suffered through it, and that kind of issue can't exist. Some things that aren't game breaking or causes crashes don't matter too much to me, but if things that weren't an issue in the game previous are now an issue, someone is to blame.

Basically during daytime hours survivor ques are short and killers are long. That’s completely reversed during nighttime hours. I figure shorter que times are based on supply and demand or that the game needmore of whatever you’re quing as but I may be wrong. Do more people play survivors at night for the horror element or something? I don’t get it
It all depends on where you live in the world and when you decide to play.

I have actually done fantastic on how I play my trials. I don't need a mere one person on a forum to tell me how to play the game.

Okay. The survivors successfully punish the camper, do the gens, and 2-3 get out. The 1-2 on the hooks still are forced to a part of nonparticipation - if you or anyone says that's okay, that person should uninstall for the health of the game.
Nothing will change if it's viewed as the survivor's job to 'punish' camping, because the killers who do it aren't looking for good games. It's on the devs to address toxic behaviours in their game's community, and refusing to do so in lieu of passing the buck to the victims is pretty low.
Telling us to change our playstyles hurts the game. And what we are doing isn't toxic, the survivors who complain about it are the ones who are toxic.
-
Another post about survivors complaining in a video game.
Does it ever stop?

I'm sorry, but if if you need something (that isn't with the charecter, like other characters perks) to make him good, he wasn't good in the first place. And the Pallet breaking isn't standard like Billy's or demos is, that's an ultra-rare add-on.
And Nemesis is not really that good of a power if you think that with out the add ons he only gets strength over time, unlike Myers which has one sort of strength at first, and then gets more and different kind of certian strength, and his attack doesn't gets as far as pyremidhead's does and is even easier to dodge.
And the AI... I'm sorry, I see the advantages of having scouts on the map, but when I play against him I can't be bothered at all. There to easy to counter in every way.
I didn't know that ranks are impotent but I'm a both side player with red ranks on both sides, but for all I know, you could just make yours up and for you I could have made mine up. Actually as much as I am concerned, ranks don't matter much, but that is an issue for a whole different thread.
Well no matter what I say, I can't change your mind. Have a good day.
