everything you mentioned is a mistake made by the survivor, not anything you did as the killer.
Good survivors don't get tormented.
His attack is loud, directional, and has warning animations with a slow travel. if you hit a survivor behind something they either let you or are really yellow/ green ranks.
Good survivors will not let you animation lock them, and if they do they probably have dead hard to counter it.
It looks like you're trying really hard to make this killer look bad. Almost nothing you said is true just false information.

His camera/pov is going to be adjusted "Soon" according to BHVR.
How soon is soon because its felt like months since they announced changes

I've yet to see a doctor use whispers as his power is a built in tracking mechanism. They usually use SB shortly after hooking to find survivors nearby to get a quick second down.
If your argument is that I'm playing doc wrong, why is it that I have no issues besting him and escaping 80+ percent of the time and you are obviously having problems with him or you wouldn't rate him so strong... 😉
I should record a match against a swf ik so I can show you how to play doctor lol most people that play him are trash or noobs

@Warcrafter4 said:
Sadly he can never be A tier due to how much the game is balanced around higher mobility killers.
I mean Deathslinger despite his amazing chase usually lose games simply because he can't physically reach generators in time(Mind you he'd only needs to be in 12 meters to reliably get a shot off) and he's only 5% slower then a normal killer.
Just remember the one thing ALL A-S killers(Freddy/Spirit/Blight) have is mobility in one way, shape, or, form.
Freddy isn't S tier he gets stomped in high level play as shown in the Hexy tournament a couple months ago. Blight is a normal killer at loops which is bad because god survivors love bullying killers who can't do anything at loops.Also pyramid is considered A tier due to him being very strong in chase and being able to counter meta perks but he has no mobility

The doctors main way of finding a survivor is static blast. Most doctors will use static blast in 1 of 2 ways:
1. Down a survivor, use SB to make sure nobody is near for a potential rescue. Or,
2. Use SB as soon as they place someone on a hook so they know where to go next. (This is the more common strategy)
So get into a locker asap when someone is downed, and remain there til 5 seconds after the downed survivor is hooked. Pay attention to WHEN you hear the static blast because it will most likely be a pattern. Then you'll know specifically when to get in a locker. Also if it's been a while since anybody has been downed, get in a locker when his terror radius starts.
counter to people playing like this is throwing on whispers.The doctor will know you're in a locker when he uses sb. The 2 points you made were the doctors not playing him right, why would you use it at a hook when you can use it at a gen?

No mobility = bad
His anti-loop is also much weaker than something like Pyramid Head or Freddy, who have strong secondary powers to help them out as well.
Do I need mobility on meat plant or the bone maps? Also his anti loop is better then Freddie IMO because you don't have to be asleep for you to be affected by it
-
@voorheesgt said:
Because he's insanely easy to counter if you have any experience using him as killer.
He was my first main. There is a very specific way to be efficient with him. So as survivor, I always assume the doctor is using that formula so I know what he's going to do well before he does it.
Not saying what the counters are
-
@ReverseVelocity said:
He's got a good chase and tracking power, but most of the A tier killers have some form of mobility power. At the end of the day, when it comes to moving around the map, he's still just a 115% killer.
You don't always need mobility especially on the smaller maps like coal tower. On top of that, he is pretty much always in chase it's no use hiding from him

Wraith and pyramid I see these killers once a week

As someone who mains PH often, I disagree with the need for it to be instant. That's like saying Huntress should just be able to minigun her Hatchets across the map. You complain people can dodge it, but yeah, that is kind of the point. You want the power to be instant? You'd create the most OP killer in the game. Survivors need to be able to dodge the attack, hence the clear box that appears on the floor to give them a chance. It's their only counter to his power. If they're dodging you easily, then you need to start being unpredictible. Don't aim at them, aim toward a direction they could run. They're going to expect a hit less from another direction rather than one straight at them.
Thanks for teaching me how to play my main killer wow such useful tips lol
-
@Axe said:
the new PH changes made him way stronger than before. Also, why do you go for a range attack in the open? Wouldnt it be better to M1 them instead? I only use his ranged attack around loops and almost every survivor is very predictable with their movements.
Making him slower for 1 second after putting trails down is him being stronger than before? The nerf/buff he got didn't make any sense and was unnecessary. Also if someone is hiding behind a rock or wall out in the open why wouldn't you go for those shots?

I really love his power the way it is. It’s incredibly strong and you can still fake it or drag yourself all the way in front of them for a body block.
Just throwing M2s at them in a straight line is very hard, you want to throw them at an angle so they have less room to dodge. Or throw them just as you break line of sight, though that’s riskier.
I think trail duration and recharge are also fantastic in addition to range and power duration. They let you be more map control oriented instead of pure chase since you can lay down tons of trails around an area quickly.
Getting insidious for an add on slot honestly isn’t that bad either.
Everybody is talking about side topics instead of the main one and it's that at loops if the m2 were instant people would go for those shots more instead of baiting that's why it got changed. I'm tired of survivors dodging it easily when not in animation lock or when they can see you about to do it
-
@ALostPuppy said:
You're not supposed to be using it in the open. Literally designed to be reactable if you use it too predictably, but when you start to use it the way it was intended it becomes tricky to dodge. Also his add-ons aren't bad. He has one of the better, more rounded sets of add-ons in the game imo with a couple exceptions. All of his add-ons buff certain aspects of a power that isn't add-on reliant at all to begin with. It's how it should be imo. They shouldn't give ridiculously good stat boosts like topknot or iri head (or old cooldown and charge add-ons on Billy, which turned him into a completely different killer). They should "add on" to the power, not completely overbuff it, and PH's add-ons do exactly that.
Someone hiding behind a rock should be able to dodge it? And how am I being predictable when I'm hitting prediction shots? Also I've tried making the best use out of the addons he has and it felt like such a waste of bloodpoints buying them. The only ones that felt okay was range and longer use of power.

@freddymybae said:
My problem is players can dodge it easy af sometimes even after dropping a pallet
Thats because you have to charge up and the width is small. Kinda wish it was a addon for that

Out in the open you're not supposed to be using POTD. He moves at 115% so you shouldn't have problem catching up the survivor.
Someone on a hex totem about to get it but I shouldn't use my m2?

Freddy is more than capable of handling a swf. His map pressure is one of the best in the game and his 1v1 is very good as well, if the survivors start waking up then hes still in a good situation because theyre not spending time on gens. Most experienced Hags will try to be as unpredictable as possible, al though a 3 or 4 gen strat is her strongest set up. Both of these killers are pretty damn close to Nurse or Spirit.
Then how come when im in a swf against a freddy we dominate? I handle hags even in solo q so it's pretty much gg in a swf
-
@MadLordJack said:
Good for you. Doesn't change the fact that both of those killers are very, very strong and have little counterplay outside of just slamming generators, which is not something your average team even wants to play like, let alone has the capacity to.
Have You Seen freddy vs a swf? He gets absolutely demolished lol and most hags try forcing a 3 gen so I know how to play around that. Seriously people who think these killers are op haven't seen a god nurse or spirit

about twins, idk how to verse them.
whenever i play against them i just get tunneled, camped and slugged.
even if victor misses and you kick him charlotte just gets him back in 6 seconds anyway so there’s basically no punishment. it seems when you play against then you just die, nothing else.
People say this killers the weakest killer in the game and the thing is they were, but only in the ptb. now there strong af.
everyone is coming out now saying this killer is top tier, even otzdarva puts them in A tier. the only person to say this killer is weak is tru3ta1ent but he just complains about everything that’s not his way so his opinion means nothing.
what do i do against twins?
If you watched true more you would know he changes his opinion all the time and has valid reasons to why he thinks certain things are bs and there's plenty of counterplay to the twins just basically git gud

Nah man I'm still getting teammates who can't last 5 seconds in chase against a freddy while woke lol

2 minutes is a gigantic amount of time.
Las time i reply to you because you don't understand how the game works. Start of the match, you have to find a survivor down them pick them up put them on a hook then go see what gems are about to be done meanwhile ruin is about to be gone soon. Come back here when you at least get to purple ranks as killer then you'll understand

So this combo bought you 2 minutes, or 2.5 ( probably more ) gens, while doing nothing. Yeah thats very good value for 2 perks.
You didn't read the conversation I was only using ruin and 2 minutes isn't a lot of time for ruin to be up

Need it for what? Getting a 4K every time? If you are great, this combo is overkill and you are probably hindering yourself in the long run if you are running it all the time. What did you do before undying came out, lose every match? Now if you are just average, this combo can help even the playing field against great players.
I ran corrupt pop but found this combo annoying as I would have to stop chasing so I can go pop a gen or go to a gen see a survivor running from it then kick it and finally chase

You Didn't say anything about my ruin being gone in 2 minutes of almost every match lol

@apathyinc said:
It's a good combo for a player that isn't the best, sort of balances things out for them. But if good players run this, it makes the games incredibly easy for them. I've stopped watching channels of streamers who are good players but run this combo. One of them who has a lot of "talent" has been running this non-stop, people even pay him to run it and it's boring as all hell. I appreciate close games that are challenging for both sides. This combo takes that away most of the time. It's only OP in the hands of players who don't need it in the first place. Pretty much like all meta perks.
You're wrong im a great pyramid and I need this for going against swfs. I get rewarded for actually pressuring gens instead of the match being 5 minutes.
-
@konchok said:
Ruin was considered a niche but good perk before undying. But you're saying that without undying that ruin is complete garbage. Aren't you answering your own question?
Never said ruin was garbage lol and I never answered my own question

Billy is still the best 1.6m/s killer in the game, yh he doesnt have insta-saw anymore but the cooldown is not that bad, and even tho the curving mechanic is kind of ######### up because of the insta-saw add-ons you can still use his power in strong loops like Jungle Gyms and Shack.
He has great mobility and an instadown, what more do you want?
Never felt threatened by a billy not even a Bamboozle billy he is decent but I feel like you're overestimating him a bit too much
-
@Leachy_Jr said:
You act like people don't want a nerf to both sides. Both DS and Undying are problematic perks and should both be nerfed.
Plus, searching for totems makes you a useless teammate, which nobody wants, it's even worse with no perks. GL trying to find and cleanse Ruin Undying in under 3 minutes on maps like Lerys, Swamp, hell even macmillian. Keep in mind that ruin is working in the background while you're searching for the totems, so any gens you had progress on is now at 0 because ruin is a fair perk :)
(Btw, yes I have ran detectives hunch, no it is not effective when your killer is sweating like it's BOTB tournament and is playing spirit or any other good killer)
If a killer pushes you off a gen your teammates need to be on gens its about teamwork learn how to work together its not about killer perks being open it's on the survivors to be on gens when not in chase simple
-

@Withered8 said:

Difference is you don't need to slug to win or do well as oni. Wraith is reliant on hit and run, otherwise he's literally an m1 killer who has a chance of getting a free hit here and there. Ghostface on the other hand is not reliant on this playstyle, and that's what i think wraith should be more like.
Have you played oni at a high level against actual good survivors? If you down someone with your power and immediately pick them up you're back to a m1 killer. Noone does that unless in certain situations
-
@Withered8 said:
My only hope is that he doesn't become even more hit and run than he already is, because that would honestly just be really boring. I would rather not have a killer who is reliant on a certain playstyle to win.
Lol what? Wraith is not good in chase this is literally the best way to play him why would you downgrade to different playstyle? Oni is made for slugging because if you don't slide you lose the game to good players
-
I play pyramid and he isn't add on dependant so don't use them
-
@[Deleted User] said:
He'll still be a killer who can't efficiently down survivors who are playing well.
Hit and run is a viable strategy you don't really Chase with him

@Sluzzy said:
A decent chance against a top SWF means a sure win for anything less.
A game dies when you balance around the top and is unwelcoming for the majority.

Get rid of perk tiers
Get rid of filler offerings and items
Do double Blood points at least 2x a month
Make teachables unlocked instantly On all characters once you get them
Reduce the cost of all bloodweb items
Give new players double bloodpoints until devotion 1

They spawn on a gen, but killers also spawn on survivors 😂 so yeah that’s being a bit hypocritical. Killers spawn in a small map with 4 slow survivors people need to stop complaining because they are bad at being killer. Killer is so damn easy it’s ridiculous 🤪🤣
Your argument is so weak that its pretty clear you only play survivor probably at green ranks as well

Because survivors almost always spawn on gens and killers have to walk around find someone down them pick them up put them on a book then go to someone else
