Most survivors are bad at the game and that's why playing solo q against Ruin + Undying was too strong. It's why against 1000 hour swf teams it wasn't as op because they were all good players.
The devs shouldn't balance the game around the top 1%. The chances they've made to Undying were actually good and breath new life into other hex totems that weren't used.
I barely Play survivor and im glad i don't because it's too easy. You can have up to 4 second chance perks because the Devs favor survivor fun more then killers fun. They should balance around good players not urban immersion claudettes that just hide whole game. Make people git gud at the game and not just make everything easier.

What an example... Terrible killer player on a terrible map for Blight. 2 hooks only. Are you serious?
But then when survivors lose against ruin undying it's not their fault right? It's not because they played bad, it's because ruin undying is op right? btw that is not a terrible map for blight, only indoor maps are bad for him.

Keys are fine they should focus on nerfing the killers i don't like or else I won't spend money on the game.

Literally a m1 killer. Don't cleanse and she has no power.

I forgot that perk even existed, last time I saw it was when it first came out. It is not worth running at all

Get chased by trapper. Step in random trap in grass. GG that was a fun chase. The only killer in the game I hate going against

Actually, I did read. Let me quote:
"I get tbagged and called a trash killer. I play pyramid and never get tbagged but called boring".
If you are being CALLED something then that means it's happening in the end game lobby chat. The SOLUTION is to TURN IT OFF.
My guy that's not the problem, I'm saying I only get tbagged when I play wraith because he's weak. When I play pyramid, I never get tbagged because he's a strong killer.

That's good but the Devs should also look into the Pop/Corrupt Intervention Combo because in my opinon it's too good. Corrupt Intervention needs a Nerf as well. I alredy made a suggestion for them like I did with undying.
Thank me later.
Nobody should take your suggestions into consideration they're terrible

If play them regularly you most likely do suck. Their powers require no real input from survivors. This makes getting wins extremely easy. But uhh deflect everything else I said because you are too scared to play custom and show me gameplay of you.
I have gameplay, go through my recent discussions you'll find them. But what about you? You have nothing to show for yourself. If you're down to do a custom I'm playing pyramid on coal tower

Dude if you really want we can run a custom right now. I main killer, I have no problem playing jungle gyms. Feel free to provide gameplay guaranteed I can call out multiple mistakes. TLs are just guess work that slightly favor killer lol thats why you love those huh?

You are not good at killer. If you can not outplay at jungle gyms which provide equal opportunity for both sides, you need to get better. For those unmindgameables just brute force and force it down in 2 loops simple.
False. TLs provide equal opportunity. I also have gameplay of my killer which proves that I'm not a bad killer. You've made 1 post without any gameplay from your side. Jungle gyms are survivor sided against m1 killers

I’m just saying it can backfire if you think it is safe and ghostface comes around the corner in stealth mode to tunnel your friend
If you think it is safe, you don't need BT. BT is for going for risky saves to counter campers\tunnelers. It can't backfire because BT is insurance

The only problem I have with hag is rusty shackles, everything else is fine to me because I know how to play against a hag.

BT can be risky against stealth killers or Freddy who can nullify it. Aura perks can be countered by blindness. Healing perks can be countered be mangled or broken. Running DS without unbreakable can cause slugging nullifying the perk. Plagues existence makes healing perks risky
I could go on
How can BT be risky? You mean a safe unhook can be risky.

Using your logic I'm going to try and create an argument for the other side. Btw this isn't my actual opinion I'm just doing this for comedic effect while showing some flawed logic.
All killer want is an easy 4k every single game. They want to be able to win every single game without needing to use any brain cells and putting in minimal effort. If they can't tunnel and camp for an easy win they cry for DS nerf. The only challenge they actually have in this game is swf so they want it removed because of how broken talking to my friends is. Imagine also saying the devs are "survivor favoured" when the last 4 maps are massively killer favoured.
Again need to state this is a joke message just to expose bad logic.

That's what a survivor told me and no he isn't just a m1 killer lol least not my pyramid.

That’s because you’re not looking at it from the survivors perspective only yours. I’m pretty sure if you were playing survivor you would not want to go against Forever Freddy, Stridor Spirit, or Pyramid Head who by the way is still stupidly broken to play. It may be that you also care for the 4K way too much. I stopped caring about the 4K way to much and play to enjoy myself even if I am getting stomped. But you know, not everyone’s like that.
The thing is that i used to be a survivor main and I still play survivor. I have played against forever freddy stridor spirit and pyramid and the only thing I have a problem with is spirit with her broken addons.so what if freddy teleports to your gen, your teammates should be on gens when not in chase.

@GannTM said:
Not every survivor is like that. I think that survivor is the more whiney side in general but most of the complaints about boring killers are pretty valid.
Killers like Spirit, Deathslinger, and Pyramid Head completely negate the skill of the survivor, which is honestly not fair. I’m not saying these killers have no counterplay but the counterplay they do have is very stale and boring because it has nothing to do with the survivor’s input. Now, all these killers do require the player playing them to be good but relying on just the killer player to be bad isn’t good design. I even main Spirit and I know this is true.
Billy, Blight, and Huntress (assuming she doesn’t have Iri Head) are all strong killers but aren’t oppressive because there are ways to play around their power as long as you have the skill and you are aware what counters they have. Because of that, these killers are great examples of killers that are still strong but still offer fun gameplay from both sides.
Whats the counterplay to safe pallets? Survivors are literally untouchable here no matter how good you are at killer. What about killer shack? Its completely survivor sided as if they make no mistake it's impossible to down them because they have a god pallet.

I either dodge the lobby or don't unhook that person

Don't be salty then.
It's a pretty useless perk and I hardly even run it. They're pretty much removing most pallets in the game and loops are non existent. If you're getting outplayed by dead hard then you need to practice more. Facts.
Kick rocks man lol it's always the people with low post counts who clearly don't play this game at a high level. Don't discuss on any of my post in the future if you see them please.

@muleasaurus said:
Half the time dead hard doesn't even work and I'm exhausted on the ground... it's really not that hard to catch up with someone, especially if it's used just before the killer swings. You don't lose exhaustion while running either so it's still pretty easy to be caught.
You seem a little salty. It doesn't need nerfing.
They're fixing people being exhausted on the ground, and catching up to someone isn't the problem it's how getting outplayed but getting saved by pressing a button. There is no counter for people who dead hard for distance. Don't try to label me as salty when I'm speaking facts.

The Executioner's Power is that he has Barbed Wire that Can be placed down and if the survivor walks or runs over they would get the torment stats effect and can be caged or killed on death hook the problem is that it does not wear off so A lot of the time they just hook and Tunnel until they die and it rewards them for it One game I died after two minutes and The Executioner already had Ten Thousand Blood Points for those two minutes so why wouldn't they do it
These are some suggestions on what ill test to see if it will make the game more fun for both sides
- The Torment Effect is removed when put on a hook ( This makes it so the The Executioner uses his power when he has it and doesn't save it to get an easy kill)
- The Torment Effect is removed when you preform a safe hook ( This should try to make survivors altruistic and rewards those who do it)
- Another Idea but one I'm not sure about is having it time based like most Effects they have a time to it so like the Torment could have a Two minute timer but this would make survivors inflicted with it hide and make the killer tunnel even more
Lastly here is a video showing the problem I feel The Executioner has
Your teammates did such bad saves and nobody were on gens lol. Pyramid is a very good tunneler just as bubba is a very good camper. If being tormented is a problem for you, try avoiding it at all cost.

It's not whataboutism if you mention a specific situation that is not guaranteed at any point of the game. You mentioned "what if a survivor dh to a jungle gym" if i wanted the whataboutism i would ask "what if a spirit gets hawkins" which i didn't.
The maps changed A LOT dead hard got bugged on june 2019 complaining about a perk that is not even that strong anymore just because you could potentially use it in a specific situation is not the right way to balance the game. Otherwise you should nerf every single stealth killer because what if you get indoor maps and so on.
You mentioned 2 killers that shut down loops like it's a problem how their powers work. I don't get what you mean by the map changes, someone is running to a jungle gym and uses dead hard for distance for which if they didn't have that perk they would be down.

Yeah those are mindgames but all the new powers don't require mindgames, ds, ph just force survivors in a lose-lose situation. If you vault or drop you get hit by the killer's power, if you don't you get hit by m1. So i'd like to know why a perk that requires the right timing and even when the timing is correct doesn't guarantee any value should be nerfed while those cheap powers plays are ok.
Phead and Deathslinger both have counterplay, and phead got changed so it's no longer a lose-lose. Also since we're doing whataboutism, what about god pallets? Survivors are untouchable at these pallets against almost all killers

DH is annoying and imo it's the one of the best exhaustion perks out there. I think it's fine where it's at though. Unless you are impatient you can usually read when someone has DH by how they keep looking at you and bait it out. Even if they manage to get to another loop there is a good chance you can whack them as they pull it down. Honestly how would you even nerf DH? Make you vulnerable during the dash? Lol.
You can't do anything about people who use it for distance. Imagine a survivor about to go down but there's a jungle gym right in front of him, he uses deadhard and now it's a 30 second chase
-

Yea so many people use it for distance. It really can extend a chase immensely when you can literally dead hard to a pallet, and move on to the next one. It gets really frustrating I agree with you. Mainly when there is 4 ds, 4 DH, 4 unbreakables, and 4 adrenalines or soul guard. It becomes extremely aggravating.
But if I use ruin undying against that I'm getting carried lol

I'm talking generally about the mistakes you make. Getting 12 hooks is in general difficult, but is not really an argument if you end chases fast. As long as people are hooked, there are 2-3 survivors not working on gens. Unless people let their mates die.
And my playstyle is totally not relevant. I just said that this was not with the best performances I have seen, I don't have to play better to have that opinion. If you had a somewhat decent team, the game would have ended in a 1-2k. And even small changes could have led to that. Let it be Kate (the unhooked one) being hooked instead of the first kill, or let the house window jumpers have Balanced Landing instead of Dead Hard, granting you free hits everytime, or let them work on gens injured rather than 40s selfcaring in the open, having no pallets near for the obvious case of you surprising them.
This shouldn't even turn into a rant about your playstyle. I just started that because you opened a thread about PH being dead and then saying that you have to play vs ultra sweats but others only play ez pz noobs games (and your Wraith game showed definitely the second type of survivors)
That's 1 out of 2 gameplay videos i have. These survivors were average but in every chase I had, I always gained something. If you're going to call someone bad, I would like to see gameplay from your side.
-
@Deadeye said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1868241#Comment_1868241
not sure what you wanna proof with this video...
tbh you didn't perform that good at all. You missed several easy hits, ate every pallet, almost every dead hard, got your first hook after 3 minutes and your moonwalks are questionable. On top, the survivors did several potato moves as well (I would love to see their perks, because I think at least 2 of them were sloppy-selfcare-in-the-open potatos). That was definitely not a seal team. Also, regarding your 12 hook goal, I just wanted to emphasize that you got Kate first time while the first guy was already dead.
Me juggling and always getting something out of chases is me being bad? And hitting every hit on console is kinda hard with low frames and a controller. Getting 12 hooks with no gen defense is kind of a stretch especially on a map like that with wraith. Show me some of your gameplay, I'll wait a couple hours until you finally have gameplay where you didn't make any mistakes.

That's the point of the cages. They're supposed to be strategic- You can use one and forego dealing with any survivor perks, but it deprives you of hook perks - Like BBQ and Pop. Or you can hook them to get access to your hook perks.
It has never taken people three months to learn how to play against a killer. Good players can figure out the basics of a killer very quickly, and only a bit longer the intricacies.
Ugh you don't get what I'm saying. Let's just drop this and move on

Running all chase perks didnt require me to slug, it allowed me to snowball build my pressure, quickly getting cages and hooks I had situations where two people caged consistently and or hooked, making survivors have to stop doing gens to get them. What makes this work all falls down to good decisions making and having good killer game sense and skill. It really isn’t as bad as some make it seem, honestly i used to complain about gen speeds but recently its not that bad.
However gen speeds still are very rough for the bottom killers such as clown, and trapper
I'm talking about above average survivors where you need gen defense. Not average ones where you can go perkless blindfolded and still win. I tries the all chase perks once and no matter how fast the chases were, those gens were flying.
-
@Deadeye said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1868151#Comment_1868151
you know that slugging can be a strategy? not talkking about having 4 slugs on the ground, just spread the pressure. Maybe your strategy is bad if you just play find-chase-hook and rince repeat, while ignoring other survivors and gens. Just assuming. Like you did assuming Cryptic only fights average survivors.
I could also assume that your "seal team" just is not pressured hard enough and you always have 2-3 people on gens
Nahh I slug for pressure when I need to, I'm not one of those who slug at 5 gens because I'm confident in my killer. I even have gameplay of how good I am at killerhttps://youtu.be/JZ9XJLGf1po

You aren't going to cage every survivor you chase. A core part of PH is knowing when to cage or when to hook.
All I'm saying is Pyramid Head existed before Undying, and he did completely fine then. This won't "kill" him.
He did fine before undying because people were still learning him. And with ruin I didn't have to worry about using the cages, now I have to decide if I wanted to cage or get pop
-
@NomiNomad said:
Pyramid Head is A tier, and while the RuinDying combo helped basically every killer, it's not going to kill him. Pop is still completely valid on him. Corrupt is still completely valid on him. Ruin alone is still completely valid.
Pop is weaker on him because he has cages and pop got nerfed on top of this. Corrupt is good regardless but once those 2 minutes are up, you're screwed.

Not to mention chase perks like Spirit Fury/Enduring make no sense on Pyramid Head. His power is anti-loop so why waste perk slots on something that's not the killer's weakness to begin with? What Pyramid Head needs (against GOOD survivors that is) is TIME.
Exactly this well said.
