It's I said chain stuns for everything but pallets. Its still an irrelevant point. Im just not sure why you mention it when it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Ah upon reading back I missed that part
Still aint an issue tho lol

They can move lockers. Im not sure if you know that? Each survivor can have that too. Also I said no immunity to pallet so your respect the wood point is irellevant.
Even then it gets pretty predictable after like the 2nd time lol
And believe it or not pallets are in fact made of wood, and they deserve some respect

Yeah that's what Pulsar said. Which isn't a good argument at all for it to stay. It's Literally no reason not to remove it. It's a gimmick so it should go. Its only purpose is to piss the killer off. Nothing else.
nah nah nah thats what I said, dont give HIM all the credit π‘
It also aint that difficult man. Respect the wood from time to time, and yknow if that 1 survivor has been by that 1 locker over and over, it most likely aint a coinkydinky and theres probably a little surprise inside waiting for you.

Bro thatd be sick, but we all know why it cant/wont happen..
Shaggy would be too powerful to be a survivor

Passively sins are gained. Sins will be applied at the start of the trial. The sins will force the survivor into another realm.
Sins are unique though, and there is one that is bound to be more cumbersome compared to the rest. To experienced players this may not be an issue, but if it happens to be applied to the "weak link" (like a newer player or a Leon) then it might just cause problems balancing it for all skill levels
-
Ngl I really dont see this as an issue, builds like that are gimmicks and annoying at best, and the only way youre getting stunned multiple times like that is if you yourself are making mistakes.
As for chain blinds... just look up or down
-
I can count on one hand the amount of times Ive seen a gen get fully blocked and this is taking into account the few times Ive used Eruption.
If you see it that often you are spending way too much time kicking motors man, go smack a bih
-
I play to win but I dont necessarily go all out. As killer I usually limit to like 1 gen regression, or as a survivor I usually try to run some sort of gimmick, and I tend to put gg in the endgame chat.
Now if someone starts being toxic? game is game.
-
I agree as I would absolutely love to get the All Kill lobby again. That being said I remember somebody mentioning something I never even thought of and that's file size which is probably the reason why they haven't done it

no

Exactly! You agree that in that situation, the game is essentially over, so why then have pain res still apply?
so that i can get my additional 300 bloodpoints

I didn't do the maths, I knew it was binomial probability, but thats asking me to go back 10 years... and I always disliked stats xD
So, Google did it for me... and the probability of getting exactly 2 out of 100 trials on a 20% chance is 0.0000063%... or 1 in about 158'730.
I dont think this is taking into account that the offering also has a chance to send you to Greenville, The Pizzeria and Fallen Refuge.
So its a 20% chance, then we have to hit a 25% chance.

Honestly, if we're just looking for a good movie and we don't mind so much about it being The Dead By Daylight Movie, I'd probably pick All-Kill in general.
Psychological thriller about Trickster's descent into mania and Yun-Jin's slow creeping suspicion mixed with the guilt of not saying anything, I think that'd make for a damn good movie.
I absolutely agree!
(def not biased)

Bloody Coil is not strong at all against anyone who knows how it works and survs shouldn't be able to follow you around and disarm every trap you set with zero consequence.
Talk to anyone who plays Trapper or even any higher level player and Bloody Coil is within his top 5, or even top 3 best add ons. Injuring someone via bluetooth for a killer who has a tough time getting a hit is a pretty big deal and can buy him some time
-
@Elan said:
I still believe my suggestion was easier:
β Trapper starts with 8 traps
β Instead of manually setting them, trapper click a button to instantly place them or instantly reset them
β When survivor is caught in bear trap, trapper gets 15 % haste untill survivor is rescued, not in chase
β Traps can be manually sabotaged (similiar to wipe on Hag) and takes 25s to do so, after that Trapper gets trap back into inventory
β Disarming traps take 10s
β Survivor who steps into trap need teammate to help them, otherwise after 20s they will enter dying state
β Trapper can remotely reset a trap once every 30s
Easy is not the point of this post. Its to address frustrations and try to adapt his kit to a modern DbD while still keeping his identity.
-
@Zuiphrode said:
Bloody Coil needs to flat out take a health state instead of just injuring uninjured survs. Also, Trapper could use some haste when one of his traps goes off.
Bloody Coil is already an extremely strong add on and doesn't need any buffs, and the whole point of the Trail is to be able to quickly make it to the trapped survivor.

Exit Gate Stall is a huge issue with buffing Trapper this much in these ways.
I'm all for giving Trapper QoL, especially normalization of trap escape times, but auto-open traps that you cant see until youre on top of them in a time where Terminus Remember Me strats exist shouldn't be made basekit.
Auto open traps that take a minute to do so. That is double than current Iri Stone. You actually have time to disarm and open a gate fully even with all stacks of Remember Me. The only exception is if you're running the now reworked Tension Spring but even then its a difference of 5 seconds.
I can't see how this would become that big of an issue. Sure if they had a faster reset timer like 30 seconds Id agree, but worst case scenario 50 is not really something to worry about imo
-
Here's what Id do:
-Breaking a pallet forces the Blight to lose 2 tokens. These tokens only start recharging once the break action is complete
-When stunned, tokens only start recharging when the stun is complete
Pallets are used to create distance and these 2 changes would give survivors a bit more breathing room, especially at unsafe pallets where he barely gets punished when stunned since in some cases he already has his power back up by the time the stun is over.
Id also experiment with reducing his rush count to 4 while increasing the regen time per token to 2.5 seconds so he keeps the same cooldown when his tokens are fully exhausted.
-
Relocating the totem is a good idea imo, and I think keeping the aura reading on top of that aint that bad. Reducing the range though might be aight
-
Im pretty sure Oni depends on if he's grabbing an injured Survivor or not already, and if he's in Blood Fury
I could of sworn I've seen both a punch and a stab

Yeah, this is never going to happen again. Every time theyβve done it in the past has been a complete embarrassment for them because they always expose the major problems in the game.
not_Queen and McLean used to stream the game quite regularly way back in the day and did just fine. The only thing I can think of of which youre referring to is maybe the few clips of Almo and that one of Mathieu Cote when he played live at an event.
There is also nothing good that can come from them doing streams like this with the goal of "appealing" their balancing decisions. No matter the outcome, people will twist it
-
because bear trap meant for bear not human
(yeah i have no idea just trapper things lol)
-
Hopefully some day
To those who say they dont want it, you can literally turn it off and your experience stays the exact same. Let others make the decision if they want it on.
Personally Ive met some awesome people throughout the years and have even met some in person despite being outside my country. Sure you get a bad apple every now and then, but its really not as bad as some people make it seem.

The reason people call it a nerf, is because of how much people valued the combo that was Furitive and Friends to the end. The combo also somewhat promoted a healthy play style of "chase this one" instead of staying around the hook.
Which that playstyle is still possible and even provides extra value outside of those 18 seconds.
-
Pretty much every value in this game is additive and not multiplicative, so if youre running M&A with max stacks you should end up with a 75% reduction.
Even on its own I cannot see how this is a nerf, a side grade at the very least. The only negative I can really see is the lost of 10% Haste, but a permanent reduction of your TR is being HEAVILY slept on compared to 18 seconds of Undetectable.
The killers who benefit the most from Furtive currently are high mobility due to consistency. They can actually make use of the Undetectable and have a better chance of catching somebody off guard. 20m is not a lot of distance/heads up for killers like Blight, Kaneki or Billy. Hell, Nurse still has a 32m radius and with Furtive she can literally be on top of you with no warning at all times.
Now other killers can actually make use of this. Permanent 16m TR Slinger? 12m Spirit? These are nothing to scoff at. Im honestly getting flashbacks to when Franklins was initially reworked from having items disappear to having items slowly deplete while on the ground. The initial reaction was it being a nerf, but it didnt take long to realize it was a buff.

Sounds like he's being abused like Skull Merchant. Not even that good in 2v8 and every survivor screams out to remove him. I've played as and against their performance was never as good as the other killers. Legion is good at getting injuries out but not downing them. Paired with Oni? Also not that good. While oni is in his power state he can't pick up anyone so what good is Legion and Oni power when everyone is injured? They just M1 killers at that point.
wild take, good luck

I honestly think with a few tweaks to make it worth going into, it could even be apart of the main game as some sort of in match "event". Maybe a portal opens up for a limited time and whoever can make it in there first can reap the rewards, sort of like the Golden Crate from Deathgarden (if any of you even remember/know what that is, may it rest in peace)

Wasnt he before stronger in open and lower loops but almost powerless on high walls loops like jungle gyms he was just lost there.
Both are still very much the case today and thats why the rework failed. He's a bit better at high wall loops thanks to being 115 however he also takes more knives to injure and his throwrate is static as opposed to ramping up like before. Because of the extra knives needed this makes Momento Blades almost essential because of how long it takes otherwise.

Style according BHVR " look how we added a tiny magic DASH in a range killer, because we just know put dash on killers" Hes pretty nice now.
I doubt he's gonna be given a dash
Also I think a large majority of Trickster players (like myself) who's played all variations of him can agree he aint in a good spot rn. Viability wise he's mid at best and he doesn't feel nearly as rewarding to play as before

Hmm... interesting...
