No, I'm 33 years old, I've been playing video games for about 20 years, most of which is pvp.
I have never seen a community as horrible as this one in those two decades.
being a 'pvp' game is no excuse for the frequency and severity of the statements made.
It is not an excuse but toxicity is a common theme in pvp games in my experience.

Main reason I use it sometimes is bp, but aura reading is not as useless as some make it out to be.
Still, without bp bonus I would never use it honestly because I can use better perks instead.

Too much and you are buffing killers in unhealthy way. Bleeding people to death would be viable option in some scenarios instead of hooking them I think.
I am not sure about give up option and would it affect solo q negatively. It could make people prone to impulsive behaviour to rage quit often for example.

Altruistic games are the most enjoyable for me as solo as well.
But, at the end game I don't mind teammates leaving me if the killer has noed, it's bubba, not everyone alive etc.
Better for more people to escape than to risk it. I sometimes do it but don't expect everyone to be a martyr.
For me the best thing is more survs escaping. It doesn't have to be me.

The hooks never disappeared for me but I've had a claudette self hooking herself so I couldnt hook anyone......................................
