@Hoodedfengm1n That too :D
-
Let's also give survivors running stamina. Fair?
-
Sure.
-
@Raptorrotas It doesn't work exactly like that. At least, not for what is to be the Legion and what is the Spirit.
Example
The Spirit uses her power for exactly 10% of the total bar. It should only take 3 seconds or less to refill it again.
-
@Raptorrotas I believe the normal recharge will be like 15 seconds if completely used. If you only used like 25% of your bar, then the recharge will only take 5 seconds.
-
@Peasant Same here man.
-
@Dwight_Fairfield Cancels, but not deplete. I am letting you know now in case you are not aware of this.
-
I don't know what else to say to you. I've stated my case, I've given examples. Look man, my opinion of you is very high and while this conversation will not shake that opinion, I do feel a little sad you cannot see what I am trying to say.
Or that you see what I am saying but you misinterpret it. Either way it kinda hurts. Please do have a good day.
-
@DocOctober I'm not trying to stop you from voicing your opinion. That is never my goal when I reply with things like that.
I'm merely saying that needless complaints aren't feedback. If you are giving proper feedback that has substance in it, then by all means, be as negative as you want. But what I am trying to do is have people stop complaining and start giving constructive criticism.
I hope you understand.
-
@Ultima I... I think you are seeing it wrong. Your reply is completely and utterly confusing.
-
@Peasant I read it, I just didn't know how to answer. However as I look at all the arguments, I can see the point. The Truth.
-
@jackkn12 Same to you friend.
-
Please, do take a chill pill. The Legion Changes aren't so terribly bad. Sure there needs to be tweaks on some of the proposed changes, but by the Entity don't act like this please.

Yea ikr way can't they just give feedback instead of complaining. I'm not happy with some changes yet I don't complain about it.
@jackkn12 That is not to say you should also bend over and take it either. I'm just saying, if you are going to complain, do it in a way that means something.
It's like complaining about Hawaiian Pizza. I don't like it, and I certainly will never understand anyone who does, but I don't have any constructive thing to say about it, so I will not say anything.
-
@No_Cluie_Louis I'm sorry friend, but you need to get out of here. You are offering no constructive arguments and do nothing but bash people.
You got what you wanted, just please. Stop, honestly.
-
As I've said time and time again there is a time and place for everything.
NEEDLESSLY complaining is not feedback. At least, not for me.
Complaining about the Spirit back when she was introduced is an example of when complaining is used correctly. When complaining is feedback. On those cases, I consider it positive negative feedback.
What people are doing here is not feedback, it's complaining for the sake of complaining. Do I like all the changes proposed? No, not really. Do I have something to say? Yes, and I did it without complaining.
-
@Thaznar Dude. No.
@Ihatelife I agree with this post 100%. Most of the other changes I can understand and don't mind for balance reasons, but those three are just over the top.
-
@Peasant Ah. I see. Unfortunately, much like the group of delinquents, patience isn't entirely my thing. I will try though.
-
Why make Feral Frenzy speed slower? The main concern with current Legion is that even with duration increases, the speed is not enough if the survivor is running a exhaution perk/knows to stay away from groups.
(Keep doing you however, I am looking forward to the changes and balance fixes.)
-
@No_Cluie_Louis I thought it was Bubba who was the one who was infamous for camping? Also please do not generalize Legion players.
Survivors certainly don't like when killers do it, and your comments make me think you main survivors even if you might not. Stop the redundancy. @Plu said it perfectly.
-
@Peasant I always wanted to use Insidious as a combat perk, but I could never use it correctly. I am terrible at thinking two steps ahead.
-
@TheBean I'm still waiting for the end of the world, that event is like 7 years late.
I was waiting since 2012 to go to hell.
-
My fears have been somewhat founded, yet also eased away at the same time. I already know your thoughts though. But I guess I can kinda say: "I told you so".
-
@Peasant The first option would only work in A) Enclosed spaces or B) If you are willing to allow gens to be done.
The second sounds hilarious. Honestly I want Insidious to be buffed so it gives aura reading, and thus being viable for ambush plays.
-
Fun Fact: Camping isn't just a Legion thing. DO NOT make it seem like only Legions do it.
Also #NotallLegions
Just had several games yesterday where I killed people without exploiting. But damn me too right lads?
-
@No_Cluie_Louis You got what you wanted, leave us be.
-
@jackkn12 It cool.
-
Hey hey hey! Some of us are actually giving feedback instead of needlessly complaining. There is a difference. Even if nowadays no one can really see it.
-
I am somewhat feeling positive about the changes.
-
I honestly wonder how they might make or break Freddy. We at the LoL clan are curious about the fate of the first 'worst' killer.
-
@Peanits Then that eased some of my sadness. I'm happy with that.
-
Assuming the DW nerf translates to the DW given from Borrowed Time, all killers with a large terror radius will get shafted.
-
Honestly, if we were to get anything from Bioshock 1 or 2 (I played Infinite but it was only good for a single playthrough), I would like a Houdini or Spider Splicer.
Alpha Series are cool and can really scare the piss off you, but generally they aren't really for horror in a traditional sense.
In terms of scare factors, a Houdini could have some sort of quick invisibility ability with fire abilities, or a Spider who can climb walls and ceilings with a ranged attack.
-
A comment from @Peanits actually changes my opinion greatly.
If true, it will make the Legion bearable, at least for me.
-
I feel bad for all killers with a gigantic terror radius.
-
@Patricia Sweet, I will be looking forward to it.
Even though I am not knell I felt like answering.
As for @Chaotic_Riddle, nice job giving your thoughts. I enjoyed reading them. LoL Clan forever!
-
@Chaotic_Riddle Not a single one of my killers who I run doesn't have BBQ. It's a god send for someone who doesn't play super often.
Other then that, I usually run Iron Grasp, Bloodhound (on any killer I can) and whatever else.
-
Look, I understand your frustrations. And I agree with you on a lot of things.
But being rude and behaving in a over the top way will not help the situation. Being jailed or banned will help even less. Please, calm down. And give your feedback in a respectful manner.
-
Cause I feel they need something different.
Buuuuut, cute bunny ears might be nice.
-
Play like how I usually play.
Whatever perks I have that fit my playstyle. I don't necessarily follow the meta. Never have. I only run what I feel would help me.
-
I don't even play Feng Min, but I want her to have a bunny outfit.
Or at the very least give the Legion females a bunny outfit.
-
Bloodpoints I hope. Or new outfits.
-
I compared it to a restaurant because that is honestly the best comparison I know of. Also I am assuming that the restaurants choices are based on the people IN it, not outside. Meaning the Hotel example would be terrible.
To go back on the restaurant example.
If the managers decided they wanted to make a steaming pile of excrements a new dish (I'm not saying Legion is that pile of dung, tis but a example), you wouldn't be saying 'Oh well, let's wait until they actually serve it to judge it', no, you'd say 'Mayyyybee go back to the drawing board please.' The whole point of why I even made this thread was to express my concerns.
Think about it like this as well, in regards to feedback before the actual physical testing, the feedback here will be figuring out the kinks in the system.
The feedback on the PTB (and subsequent live game feedback) will iron out those kinks and make the Legion better then originally planned.
I do agree some folk need to chill, but the devs have clearly stated they WANT feedback. Thank you for being respectful about all this btw.
-
@PhantomMask20763 I certainly agree with your points here. You put it better in words then I have.
#MakeFMTInfiniteFrenzy

@FeelsVeryBadMan It's a chance to see our feedback taken to heart, as our dear not_Queen has stated (albeit she and the other team are probably just looking now). Some of us are actually giving feedback that COULD be seen in the PTB, and if our feedback is not balanced, they could do minor tweaks.
Even though the PTB was made for our feedback, it's good to share our thoughts here. Because sometimes flaws could be pointed out before it was placed.
Think of it like a restaurant. The manager decides to give out a new dish, but hasn't actually served it yet, the patrons are given a chance to review it before they could even taste it.
Of course if the dish on paper doesn't look appetizing or is atrociously bad at first glance, the patrons WILL call for it to be changed. After initial feedback, the dish is served with the changes asked for. Then the patrons can give additional feedback based on what they ate. If good, the dish is now purchasable and everyone can be decently happen. If bad, well the dish will be under review.
Dead by Daylight is the restaurant. The devs are the managers, and we the players are the patrons who give feedback based on the dish (characters/perks/features) we are given to eat (see/use). I hope you can understand the nonsense I had just given you and I apologize if I made no sense.
-
@Peasant I don't mind the changes. But to completely deplete the entire power is absurd. I'll honestly be happy with a % reduction to a missed hit, not a straight up 'I got a heart attack cause I can't hit people'.
Everything else (Besides DW nerf and BT buff) I can agree with, for balance purpose.

Can this please stop? Over and over again people have complained about something being weak, and weeks later decided that it was the best thing to happen. *cough* Spirit *cough*
Just wait for the changes to hit PTB and play it for yourself. Actually, now that I think about it, it won't change anything, people are still going to ######### about it until it's not their way.

Nice strawman.
"Can this please stop? Over and over again people have complained about something being weak, and weeks later decided that it was the best thing to happen. *cough* Spirit *cough*"
This isn't me complaining so much as me giving FEED BACK, you know, the thing that made the Spirit as great as she is now? There is a time and place for feed back, and right now is the time. I love the Legion, and I truly do not wish to see them rot. The changes seem good, and 115 movement is awesome, but the power looks like it'll be completely useless now and I might as well stick with my Trapper if I want to have even a bit of usefulness.
"Just wait for the changes to hit PTB and play it for yourself. Actually, now that I think about it, it won't change anything, people are still going to ######### about it until it's not their way."
I would if I could. Unfortunately I play on PS4 but I will be following the Legion's new gameplay VERY closely. If it plays well, and my feedback was listened to, I'll make another post explaining what is done right with the Legion, and what could change if something is done somewhat wrong. You have to understand I love this community, and I love the Legion as a killer. What happens to them is important for me.

What were their counters exactly? I personally like this change, they did get nerfed, but they got buffed in other areas.
@Meme I answered my friend Jonathan, I'm pinging you now so you are made aware of this.

What counters did they have? Because i don't remember any counters to Legion, their was no counterplay that i have seen anyone do, the only thing i can think of was the window tech, which didn't take long for you and your gang to figure out how to counter that as well.
Unless you can explain to me what kind counters they have. Please let me know @Shad03
My apologies for being late my friend. While I could have answered earlier, I had been on my tablet and that is very annoying to write with on these forums. Now to answer your questions @Detective_Jonathan
If you had been around the LoL Clan for any decent amount of time, we've stated the counters numerous times.
One of the counters, quite simply, were to never group up and even if you were within the Killer Instinct's terror radius, if you were far enough or if you had some means of gaining distance fast, you could easily outrun even a lunge boosting Legion.
Another counter is 360 (especially on console where the fps are not really good). On PS4, where I play, I am not a good survivor. However I can do basic jukes and 360s, sometimes I succeed and the Legion that I face wastes time with me, or I don't and my efforts were in vain.
On the subject of exploiting Legions, I will give it to you that those are harder to counter, however, if you could make it to a window/pallet, you can really screw those jerks up. Maps with tall grass are also your friends as a Legion who knows how to track blood without Bloodhound will get tilted, even if they did run it.
Something tells me I will have a lot of fun reading everyone else's replies to the thread. I checked before finding yours, and this is what happens when I go away from the forums. Sigh
-
Also I want to point out to anyone who thinks Legion remains slow (despite the clear addition of 4.6 which is 115 movement), Legion did get a speed buff. Making them essentially a Trapless Trapper who can occasionally vault a pallet or window.
I main Trapper, and let me tell you I'll probably not feel that much of a difference now.
