5 seconds wasn't too long though.
Yes I know just thought meeting halfway was saucy 😏

3 too short, 5 too long. Simple solution meet halfway. 4 second DS stun.

Absolutely
Sometimes it can be hard to tell who is just not good at the game versus who is actively throwing games but I'm either stuck back in MMR Hell where I have nothing but scared little bunny rabbits for teammates or people are just throwing the game and not really doing anything to help with anything.
Seriously fellow survivors, I get that the patch wasn't great for solo survivors but quit the damn game if you're going to throw a F'ing hissy fit over it instead of ruining the game for the four other players trying to play the damn game.
I'd like Holly's opinion on this topic...
-
I as well think the game is world's better now. Yes I play both sides.

A legit P100? It's gonna be a long while.
Won't be that long for people that don't work and just sit on DBD for 10+ hours a day 7 days a week.

Only plan on doing it for one killer and that's about it

What happened is killer got buffed and survivor got nerfed, mmr hasn't changed.
The buffs were necessary as before the update killers were just chew toys for survivors.

Heh you got me.

I never used DH and I'm used to sitting on gens. Not much has changed if you ask me.

I just played against a tunnelling Bubba with Dying Light, Thanatophobia and Pain Resonance. My team was really trying but we fell apart because we just couldn't get through those gens. How do I adapt to that?
Hard to say, as Killer I've been seeing sometime 2 Prove Thyself per lobby. Discordance going off like crazy though. They did manage to do all 5 gens. My hats off to them.

That's exactly why I switched to this build from the old anti gen boring builds, to try and have fun. but I know that If i'll want to win easily I'll just stack the new slowdown meta perks and I'll probably be unstopoable.
Please calm the ego it's not really helping your case. 'Unstoppable' c'mon really?
-
I think it was just bad team or unironically bad luck. I doubt it has anything to do with your equipped skins.
-
Idk about base but the stun should revert back to 5 secs especially since it disables end game. It was so easy to catch up after 3 secs wondering why they even use the perk.
-
He wasn't always gay lol. It was a title slapped on him recently.

I just want to say.. thank you, BHVR. You finally released the perfect patch. You nuked all the crutch Survivor perks and now they have to rely on SKILL instead of broken, billionth chance perks.
I've been playing solo queue ever since the patch released and i'm glad to finally have some kind of a challenge! Before this it was just way too brainless and easy, I was just finishing my 419th No Mither only Solo Queue escape in a row when the patch finally dropped. All of a sudden, the atrophied, decayed husk that was the Trapper sitting in the corner suddenly came to life, swinging and downing and all of a sudden, I taste my first defeat in hundreds of games. It was REFRESHING.
And all these survivors complaining about how bad solo queue is now, all these STUPID BABY survivors, have you ever tried.. I dunno, getting good? Maybe stop relying on your crutch zillionth chance perks like Self Care and Spine Chill?
Just adapt, bro. If you can't win a perkless 1v1 with No Mither, then why are you even playing? You've had it so easy, and now you have to step up.. and you're just complaining about "too hard" or "horrible teammates" or "literally numerically impossible to win". Maybe try killer for a change?
50/50 survivor killer btw
419th No Mither escape solo escape in a row. Yeah sorry don't belive that for a second no offense.

DS should probably go back to being 5s, but being disabled at endgame is absolutely essential.
They should meet it halfway. 4 second DS stun.

@Marigoria said:
What time do I need to adjust if my perk build before the patch was already kindred, bond, inner strength and lithe?
Because the issue is not the dead hard nerf, I'm fine with that.
The issue is everything else on the killer side got buffed and only thing survivors got to compensate was a useless 5 second bt.
They said themselves they wanted killers to be fearful and dominant.
-
No DH dash alone makes the game 100% better.
-
I'm not looking to argue with anyone but I see your standpoint @RavenBirb and I agree with you for the most part.

Wouldnt mind since survs have an option to coordinate via pre game chat. However language barriers and stuff are still a thing so it would be nicer if we could see each others loadouts and coordinate from there.
Love your username, me and you bro.

I've never seen a company so secretive about their game. Like a release date...what's the big deal.

Survivors need to have skill otherwise I'd feel stupid saying I got curbstomped by 4 potatoes.

I play a fair amount of PvP games online. Some have some pretty terrible matchmaking but I can honestly say with confidence that DBD has the most unbalanced, rage inducing, dog crap matchmaking of any game I've played. I am frequently matched against survivors who can all run every tile like its comp. I don't even think it's a SWF issue, it's legitimately a lot of solo Q people too I think. I've gone roughly 6 games where every chase I get into is a no win for me. The survivor knows every loop and every pallet/window location. Even if I break chase, the next survivor I find is equally as good as the last one. How tf can you expect killer players to stick around if these are the matches they are thrown into?!
Honestly BHVR. Fix your horrendous matchmaking and the game might be playable.
For the record, I am a fairly good killer. I'm not the best, but I could usually secure 2-3 kills per game. Now I either get 1 or none at all. I've had a few games where I don't even get a hook because the survivors are playing so optimal.
It's disheartening to want to enjoy this game but I'm literally stressed out not knowing if the survivors I'm against are going to act like they are a comp team who have to sweat every single chase.
This isn't the survivors fault either, I'm not saying that. Kudos to you if you play this game non stop because you want to be THAT good at it. I blame the terrible matchmaking for putting me against players I could never hope to beat.
Down to earth thread. I agree with all your points. I feel the same bruh.

I don’t understand it either. If if they are worried about “elitism” just have it that only you can see your own.
And then we'll be bombarded with people showing us their 'elitism' MMR score screenshots for us all to enjoy.

Is this deja vu cuz I swear I read this somewhere before on another post a while ago.
Dredge is fun to play and I imagine its cosmetic customization in the future will be great
I'm thinking there will be some corrupted Maurice the horse skin for Dredge in the future.

@Phasmamain said:
The dreamworld should be something you need to worry about being in constantly imo. Right now it’s basically just normal to be in it the whole match which shouldn’t be the case
Just bring back old freddy with his new teleport and some QOL improvements (Incapacitated in the dream transition and a hard cap on action speed debuff)
Yeah. Dreamworld is not threatening at all.

I play him a lot. I've been playing him less lately though, since I'm trying to use up my flans on my other characters.
I kinda made the mistake of stock piling all my flans (370 somethin) on Dredge and nobody else 😝
He's my new main with Cenobite in a close second.

At a Devotion 62 someone might have way too much free time. Obviously doesn't work.

As someone who has played DBD since 2010, I can agree with you. Haha
2010?
-
And what if somebody has P3 Level 50 all perks all characters (I dont) but genuinely curious.
-
Stealth killers would be good on old DBDs atmosphere. Now it's all about the chase and going stealth means you're going to lose a lot of gens.
-
Hex perks need some kind of rework in general. No point using them as they are.
-
Better than nothing. Thanks for the demonstration.

I will never forget A Nurse's Calling Meta.
I got it from the shrine in 2019 and had very fun matches with it. Helped me many times too.
If I was still playing DBD, I would certainly run it. Especially after this new update drops.
Everyone who follows the old ways has my respect.
Well said friend.

I think you have to play a handful of matches first before your SBMM properly settles.
In the meantime your opponents could be bad, good or a mix. It'll get better shortly.

@Wrecked said:
I wouldn’t really say that this is an issue with killer mains, it’s just a player issue. Some people just like to be dicks. I had a match recently where a Steve DC’d about a minute into the match as he got downed by a Wraith super fast and then a Claudette DC’d as soon as he did, so I assume they were together. So it’s just me and a Feng with 5 gens and the Wraith chased me for almost 5 mins (as I recorded the match out of intrigue) and when he eventually downed me he just continuously hit me on the hook over and over until I died. This is whilst the Feng sat in the basement and didn’t do a single gen lol. In a normal match with competent players, that chase would have cost him the match, so I’m not sure what he achieved by hitting me on the hook / nodding at me. Why am I being ‘puninished’ because 2 randoms on my team leave at the start? Dicks will be dicks.
Loved that story 😂

Clown OP thread. I can safely cross this off my bucket list.

I'll tune into that 😆

I've softened on my thinking that I'd never run BBQ again. While losing the BP sucks, this might inadvertently buff BBQ as players start to not assume BBQ is in play.
As others stated, habit is hard to break so people who hide from it might still for a while but eventually people will let their guard down to it.
Also I find it funny that they're complaining about BBQ. It's so easy to take out of play and even if you do get "spotted" by it, you have plenty of time and warning to run away. Just a strange one to whine about.
What does Holly think about this topic? A picture is worth a thousand meows. 😏
