Nurse is heavily investment-based. You won't see good Nurses at lower ranks (judging by what you imply by being underleveled). A red rank good Nurse is rough.
Honestly, I hate playing against the Plague. The whole not healing mechanic sucks to play against, because that means less involvement and less blood points to gain. I don't consider her OP, but she's way better than people claim. Like others said, you do what your team is doing. If they're cleansing, you need to be cleansing too. Otherwise you're broken against a 115% Huntress with machine gun hatchets.

I'm the bad guy here. I'm being toxic bc I choose to do a killer daily. How inconsiderate, and braindead of me to think I could try to earn bloodpoints. idk what's more embarrassing, this comment, or the players in the match.
I never said breakdown wasn't an issue.
I'm just saying that you shouldn't be toxic to Survivors, much like Survivors shouldn't be toxic to Killers.
But like I guess telling someone that they shouldn't be toxic is embarrassing?

Yeah survivors can be very immature and not understanding. Honestly those people give genuinely good survivors a bad reputation.
Overtime I just learned to accept it and in some cases it's nessacary for them.
It's not a survivor-only mentality
-
Yes
-
That said, hook bug is probably harder to kill than the devs are letting on.
-
Interesting that you would be toxic in the endgame chat even after getting the 4k with the easiest killer to play...
-
Oof
-
As long as people think they're entitled to escaping/4ks every game, the division between the players will always exist and be hyper toxic.
-
I frequently get slugged because the Killer caught a teammate trying to flashlight save or sabo a hook or something.
Unbreakable would be useful in those situations too.
It helps relieve snowballing pressure and makes it so that if the Killer didn't hook, they effectively wasted that chase.
Edit: That said, it's more useful the closer to red ranks. If you're in the lower ranks, it isn't that useful.
-
So let me get this straight:
Slugging for the 4k is perfectly alright, but the survivor crawling away is toxic? Stop trolling already.
-
She really just needs a more noticeable visual indicator of phasing.

This whole post was about survivors being the power role because the devs don't listen to killers. You're one to talk about trolling when I saw you say "get good" on someone's post. Anytime someone brings up a killer problem in a post, you immediately decide to be against whatever they say.
So you read every single post I've ever made?
No, I only go against low effort killer problems because literally every other killer problem post is a repeat of "keys are bad," "iron will is bad," "borrowed time is bad," followed up with either awful balance ideas or just general sympathy against the mean survivors. That's of course opposite the problem where every other survivor post is some rehash of "bbq is op," "spirit is uncounterable," so on and so forth.
And "get good" is the usual argument I see killer mains put forward when a survivor complains about something (rightfully or not, lol bbq being called op), so you come off as hypocritical calling out certain individuals' posting of "get good."
If a thread is low effort, I don't usually expend more effort than put forth.
Now, I'm done talking to you. This conversation bores me. I hope you have a good day.

Yes it is. God loops are still in. Unmindgameable pallets are still. Breakable walls are somehow a survivor sided mechanic, don't know how the devs managed to screw that up. You're so in denial that survivors are the power role, even with whatever significant buffs killers supposedly are getting all the time.
What are you smoking? I never said anything about who the power role is, just refuting the idea that the devs only listen to survivors.
Sheesh, either get better at trolling or get better at putting together cogent arguments without resorting to ad hominem or other logical fallacies.

DS should only deactivate if you progress the game state: Doing totems, working on gens, unhooking, or healing someone off the ground. If you are not progressing the game state, then it should never deactivate.
Normal healing is not progressing the game, despite what people think.

Survivor mains are so cringe. Legion is ######### because of you yet you wash your hands. I'm so glad I started to camp and tunnel like crazy on every game. Enjoy your long queues only to get camped.
So you queue up just to camp people to make their game miserable?
I kinda feel bad for you.
-
That's fair. I see enough people say it that I assumed it wasn't bannable.
Regardless, Iron Will is a nice perk but not OP.

Surveillance nerf, Pyramid Head nerf, Undying nerf, Compound 21 nerf, Trickster nerf, Freddy nerf, iri head nerf, Twins nerf, more bad breakable walls. You probably already knew all this but I was nice and told you again.
Undying is arguably better now.
Trickster was buffed.
Free zoning ala old Ph or current Slinger is garbage.
Freddy averages 3k across the board.
Iri head is garbage. It's low risk high reward.
I guess making things more fair is "listening to survivors."
-
Get good
-
Where was this hyperbole when the Game used to be the second easiest map to kill on?
-
@GodLikeTerror said:
Deathslinger is fine, and he isn't even that hard to counter. It's just the weaker end of skill level survivors that complain about him like they complain about every other killer, but basic m1 killers.
I guess Scott Jund is the weaker end of skilled survivors then lol

That's called flashlights.
The issue is that a Killer's power shouldn't be hard countered by an item.

@landromat said:
Gen speed is fine if you're against solos. Coordinated swf gives info when ans where to do a gen so they are more efficient. Swf members should get gen speed penalty for playing together. Let's say 5% for player. So 2 survivors group will have 10 penalty, 3 survivors 15 and full stack swf will get 20. Solos are not affected by this change so that should be fair
This still punishes solos while also punishing people for wanting to play with friends.
If I'm a soloQ teamed up with 3 SWFs, I'm still suffering the effects of them having basically thanatophobia on them. And then if the Killer brings any other slow down perks? Yeah, my team is basically useless for gens at that point.
Likewise, my friends and I would always have a thanatophobia effect on us? Yeah, that's really fun to work against.
-
If I was going to rework him, I'd rework him differently than just number changes.
I think his base mechanic is fine and thematic. The only thing they don't really capture is his ability to pop up anywhere. I think he needs some kind of a teleporting mechanic like Jason has in the F13 game. Not the Shift ability, but the Morph.

Geez this post still going. The perk was fine way it was just needed to stop when healed. Now way it looks it stops when healed and hides blood and scratch marks. There are quite a bit of clips on youtube of this perk being called OP because it's strong and considering no matter what every unhook is same with this same update, and it brings new object just seems like a lot so I guess I understand. me personally just hope less excuses when there dead.
No gonna lie, I'm not really sure what you're trying to say.
I'm saying that if you hit me once, and then 90 seconds later regardless of whether or not you chased me or I healed or whatever, I lost the perk permanently, that would be a trash perk.

In what way pig?
EDIT: I cant read
Actually, Pig might be decent against it.
Yes, the first down will be the hardest to get, but if you trap them and then hook them, that's pretty much a guarantee that the survivor will waste the Lucky Break timer because they're desperately trying to get the trap off.
-
@chargernick85 said:
I would like to think if it actually just drained for 90 seconds whether you are healed or not there wouldn't be complaints about it. One hit 90 seconds later one perk slot gone sounds fair to me but that doesn't look like it's the case.
That would be a trash perk still.

right the sweaty SWF I come across in red ranks sure does feel like friends trying to have fun and not an optimized team that only cares about winning with meta perks and using comms to call out my location
So you're mad that you don't play to win against a team that does play to win? Why call out survivors running meta perks?
-
Simple: DH is the next Survivor perk on the chopping block after DS and OoO. Once the devs nerf DH, people will call for BT nerfs, then Iron Will, and so on and so forth.

its the newer generation of gamers....things used to be better, we used to enjoy a challenge, now they ask what is the best and just run that and thats it, like playing against bots or something.
Imo a LOT of perks should be nerfed, perks should not determine the outcome of matches, how is that any fun or rewarding in any way? it should be skill, planning, strategy

You know moonwalking doesn't so anything right? You just stand at safe spots with 2 to 3 different views on where the killer is at most loops.
Ah, right, better go tell Otz or Tru3 that moonwalking doesn't do anything. Lol

Nah man. according to people here it is a you problem and survivors never hold w loop well or do gens.
So the argument is that Killers need to be strong enough to deal with survs that can loop well? Effectively, that boils down to "that surv plays better than me, better make my role stronger." Is that really the argument you want to make?

I would before all that claim its hte players that are the problem who have so little self respect, but thats just me I guess....
what happened to gamers man...seriously, we used to love challenges, we used to have runs of RE with just the knive etc and look up to players doing that, we used to spend weeks on solving a puzzle in some adventure game.....
and now players ask and google "what is the best X" so they know what to use.....and in this game run the meta and all the add ons etc to help them along as much as possible....saddens me greatly.
heck personally I would LOVE a perkless mode for this game, no nonsense to save you, just you and your wits, strategy and skill
"What happened to gamers man"
Ok boomer
-
"Keys reward a survivor who plays badly enough to not have enough generators done to open the doors and escape."
"DS/BT rewards a survivor for getting hooked."
NOED is a garbo perk because it requires no real interaction for the Killer to benefit. Ruin was changed because it was too random and had an impact on the game with zero input from the Killer.
Devour Hope is a better designed NOED.

@Draug said:
She honestly doesn't need it. If they nerf her they will just keep nerfing the strongest killers instead of bringing the weaker forwards a more playable balance. Killers are supposed to be scary and powerful because they need to pressure multiple survivors. The only reason people hate on spirit is because she is one of the only decent different killer playstyles left, they already removed billy and nurse which they removed from playability in their pursuit of "balance" just cause swf occasionally had to try. Spirit doesn't need a nerf, over half the killers in the game can't even meaningfully pressure survivors anymore and need a buff and are a really bad balance comparison.
The only reason you don't see Billy is because the vast majority of Billy players would just hold the chainsaw revved until they got a clear shot at the survivor lol.
He's pretty much the same Billy as before.
Spirit isn't fun to play against, and should be changed to fix that.

"Nurse and Spirit are the only ones who have a chance at high ranks" correction, they're the only ones who can beat fully stacked, completely optimal tournament teams. I've faced one, one tournament team in my 3 years at rank 1 killer, and they weren't that bad. As Pyramid Head, without tunneling. 2k. Saying that only Nurse and Spirit can play at high ranks is flawed because the percentage of high rank survivors who are actually good is so unbelievably low that the chances of us getting Scooby Doo as a chapter are higher.
I take most complaints about SWF to be more like "Elo-hell" complaints in other, competitive games like Overwatch, LoL, DotA2.
That is to say, it's a sign that the person complaining isn't actually as good as they think they are.
Happens to survivors too, mind you. Any time a survivor talks ######### after getting clapped is the same issue, just bundled differently.
That's not to say that there aren't tournament SWFs running around, of course. But all the talk of optimal SWFs is wildly overblown, thanks in part to certain streamers.
-
Yawn, more melodramatic killer threads
-
I don't care if they nerf it or not.
But I need the Killers to stop lying to themselves; a large fraction of them would still continue to run it without the bloodpoints.

Im ok with some. But removing his slow downs was stupid. Giving immunity was stupid. And changing black box was stupid. Who in the world is going to run an iri add on that blocks the exit for a whole 10 seconds ? And the fact that they CAN have immunity is rediculous. As it will punish the killer for getting his hit if they're not drug in to dream world
If you believe his slow down add-ons were fine for the game, I have a time share to sell you.

Nerfing half the killer roster (killers that arent considered OP to begin with) is a great way to make sure that only 2 meta killers will be used.
I guess, enjoy playing 24/7 against Spirit and Nurse.
