Because many survivors complain about moris. They would need a huge rework if the Devs wanted to promote them with alternative animations.
There was a questionnaire that asked about different animations a few months ago. Nothing has been said since. And devs said in stream that they weren't planning on selling them in store so who knows
@Boss said:
Probably cause they're a minor addition & making them might prove to be too much effort for little result.

Don't quote me on this, but i remember @Peanits saying they don't want to do this.
i was hoping they would mention it, idk how killer mains wouldn't want more fancy ways to finish off the survs, and if they are thinking about adding Jason, giving him ONE kill animation is like spitting on his abilities if you ask me

Because Moris are a minor part of the game? Most killing is done via hook why make a bunch of animations when mori usage is far below hooks?
they are not...? You get hooked and then you can choose to kill them yourself..other players like me would like more added to this

Survivors are splitting off and doing gens solo lately, and by the time you start your first chase at least 1 gen is done, then 2 after hooking.
i can't stand some of the remaining hard loops, specifically house loops

Besides the fact I can't play Demo, Billy, or Bubba because BHVR is made of spaghetti code, the only major difference is that gens go much faster then before. True, you canβt always escape due to potato teammates, but you can almost always pip or safety pip. If you are struggling/complaining on this forum, you need to talk less and level up.
thats why nobody wanted to play killer until mid chapter, it's somewhat more bearable with the thousand OP ass surv perks they keep dishing out. Killer isn't fun

It's not fun when you consider how annoying the Doctor is, or how broken the Deathslinger is in chase.

I get on to ply with family from different households, it takes like 30 minutes to battle through all the errors and load screens to get into a round just to have killers quit! Good ness. Who cares if the survivors are a bit better ranked. The killers are OP no matter what flippin level you are. DBD needs to fix this lobby BS on XBOX. I doubt there will be many mobile players. Who cares about that too. GAAAAH just saying.
I play on mobile sometimes and it seems to be around 3 minute wait time for a lobby. Same with normals around 3-4 minutes for me atleast sometimes more. You wanna know why? it's because most are playing the PTB with the more balanced maps and stuff, atleast a few killer mains

Dead Hard - a perk Survivors use to prolong loops around a pallet or to reach a safe spot when they had to die without DH. Awful.
Decisive Strike - Survivors DSβed my ass even if I donβt tunnel, I was just overperforming and downing them for their mistakes too quickly..
Borrowed Time - why this perk got buffed so much? And it used not as for camping Killers, but for being able to be cocky at hooks.
@Peanits , why do you ignore feedback about at least Decisive? Just why? Survivors are so nasty bcs of tons of second chances.
Devs seem to ignore a lot of posts, I've made multiple about Demogorgon and such and gotten a lot of feedback just not from anyone official. I've seen other posts get almost no attention and but a dev has a response. I don't get it

I wanna sit here like everybody else and say "do bones" but no even tho its true you should but nowadays survivors just wanna gen rush and get mad when they get NOED. Sometimes NOED itsnt even used for bad killers its basically a backup plan for some killers even good killers use it. Its not hard to do gens anymore am average chase can get at least 2 and a half gens done depending on the survivor. Plus i hate when survivors say it takes no skill to use adrenaline u dont even have to be the one that finishes a gen to get full HP also can sit on a hook to get full HP so stop with the no skill crap. Surviors got all the crutch perks, second chances perks they need. Killer has a easy destroyable perk people flip. I'm finna have a butch of survivor mains comment on this being salty idgf I'm voicing my opinion. Its usually the gen rushers that complain about NOED but the people who do bones don't give AF.

There's new ways to use ruin in conjunction with other perks now. As for the longer que times i'd say a lot enjoy the ptb better with the new map changes. There's a lot of surv exploits rn

Can you rephrase the first two sentences since I'm not sure what you are trying to say.
To address your second point. Yes I have listened to the changes, I also have participated in the PTB and seen the map's both in actual games on there and KYF lobbies.
With the gen speed changes, in games I have played both survivor and killer, the efficiency change has helped a lot. It won't stop survivors from pressuring multiple gens which is a given but this combined with the map changes has a very nice feeling to it.
Finally, the original poster specifically said
"Haddonfield is the most survivor sided map in the game. Next to badham and the game."
I found it funny that he was including "The Game" in that statement since it certainly doesn't belong with Haddonfield. So I made a comment about it specifically. You must have not read it completely because no one else seems to have this issue with what I mentioned like you have to make a post that was flat out incorrect.
No because while those are on the table, Haddonfield is the biggest problem. There's no instance in the game or badham that overshadows Haddonfield's bs. There was only small tweaks that they did that would make it way better, like you said it feels nice. I personally don't enjoy playing the PTB version of dbd so thanks for the tip

The Saw map never received any update, if it has then I haven't noticed since October. By my estimation the only pallets that are truly safe are the two outside basement and one that may spawn under the stairs which is a one way. As for too many pallets, I always have fun mindgaming those. However, the claim that "The Game" map is survivor sided like the Original Poster claims is just pure bait or driven by a bad experience on there.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1206630#Comment_1206630
The fact that you didn't decide to respond to my post about why I don't think the Saw map "The Game" is survivor sided says a lot about how a majority of the people on these forums will just attempt to bait and troll. Or shitpost which is what this is.
If you want to make it about experience then fine. Perhaps you could actually post something worthwhile about why in your experience you think my points are wrong. But if not then its typical of you I guess.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1206634#Comment_1206634
It's very easy to locate people, and if a gen has progress but no scratch marks and you are 99% sure someone is nearby chances are they are behind the wall. I find it easier than some other maps when I can tell survivors were just working on the gen.
As for pallets, the only three that I always want out of the way are the two outside basement (unless the bathroom gen is done) and one under the stairs that have a platform and go up to another safe pallet which I normally force them to waste.
This surely won't help but what survivor ranks do you face most commonly?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1206635#Comment_1206635
I'm not saying Haddonfield isn't survivor sided, but "the game" (SAW MAP) is anything but.
You cast off the points we say we find by playing the game so what do you expect? It has nothing to do with being good in most sense. Have you listened to the devs on why they are doing the upcoming changes? Survivors do gens still way to quick there's no physical time to even walk to the first gen because some maps are so big + Speed. There's already changes with this map but i feel it needs a bit more. And nobody is talking about the SAW map, this is about Haddonfield.

@Peanits said:
I'm not sure where the rumours of pallet reduction are starting, but they are not true. The number of pallets is unchanged barring the Disturbed Ward, which now has two fewer pallets in the main building. For the rest of the maps, the amount is unchanged. While a tile may not be a maze tile, it can stick have a pallet on it (e.g. A rock/tree loop, some debris with a pallet on it, bales of hay with a pallet, etc.) Changing how many maze tiles spawn or where they spawn does not change the minimum and maximum pallet counts.
pls tell me the update is coming tuesday so i can enjoy killer more lol

The map is too closed in so you can't play as ghostface or freddy. Theres no killer shack so trapper is impossible to play as. It's not dark enough so hag traps are implantable. This turns all killers into m1 killers
i just made a post complaining about the same thing, i love this map but on killer it's pure trash, a lot of the maps are way too big, with the mid chapter i hope things help

Hi everyone!
Hope you're all staying safe and healthy during this time.
Other people I play this game with, as well as myself, feel like the Mori is too overpowered. It severely cuts the game time and, as aesthetically pleasing as it is, there is no equivalent for the survivor to get around it. Also, there is no repercussion for the killer using it. "Getting good," just isn't enough, as the game seems to already lean in favor of the killer. I feel it is an unfair game mechanic and causes the game to lean even more heavily in the killer's favor, especially when the killer can Mori every single Survivor in the match (provided conditions are met with perks, add-ons, and Offerings that are attained). I specifically recall a time where The Shape walked up to me and killed my Survivor on the spot. Perfectly healthy, not even in the Dying State.
One or even two survivors would be acceptable but all four I feel is too much. I think either a heavy limit on it or removal all together would be fair options- or even a Perk/Add-On/Offering for Survivors that allows them to avoid it.
Thoughts?
nah i like moris

@ChainsawCharlie said:
Very true. There's two reasons for this. Way too many people play SWF because they want to play with their friends, and a lot of killers have recently taken a break from playing killer because of recent changes. I think that's why the devs are fixing some god loops and making other changes because they realize without killers, they have no game. Plus matchmaking in general is terrible. I'ma Rank 1 survivor and somehow got a Rank 17 teammate last night.
been awful for so long dude that's whack

@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
Those God Loops/"Infinites" always involve a window that survivor can use without a risk (Except some killers) and are able to waste a lot of the killers time just by using these windows (for example the window in the main building from Iron Works of Misery in the picture below).As a killer you are forced to break the chase if a survivor manages to get to one of these windows and ignore that part of the map.
So my question is,why can't these very strong windows get closed?
It would be an easy change to implement and a HUGE step towards balancing maps.Furthermore every map that features a god loop/"Infinite" has more than enough strong windows and palletts for survivors to work with so they don't need these god loops anyway.
What do you think?

Worst case scenario, it's a time waster. It's another 12 seconds on top of that 16 second heal. A mandatory 12 seconds at that, you can't just choose to ignore deep wounds like you can for healing. But I also wouldn't undersell the value of the desaturated colours. It makes the stain way harder to see, which can give you a slight edge in a chase.
You can choose to ignore it though for the most part, because a survivor can simply use the attention with it to buy time to rush more gens while you're trying to complete one chase. It's even somewhat an advantage for them and if they have altruistic teammates they can double heal and it turns into like an extra 5 second heal, plus since it doesn't hinder ANYthing other than a measly extra 10 seconds regularly to sit there and prepare like you would using Self-heal..and then you can do the same thing again. There needs to be something, because it doesn't really help killers out.. slower running speed..can't use items like you can't in Madness 3..anything

Don't touch the saloon. Its the only place that makes that map ANOTHER killer-sided map.

He needs to be buffed is what it is, these lackluster killers to appease survivor mains and their OP gameplay
@Peanits said:
His strength over the Huntress is his lack of a wind up time. You'll want to practice your aim and spend as little time aiming down the sights as possible. If you can nail those really fast shots, suddenly most loops will become unsafe.
Beyond that, once you've speared someone, just remember that walking backwards severely reduces the amount of side-to-side control the survivor has. If you notice that they're about to round a corner or obstacle, walk backwards until they're past it.
And last but not least, remember that you don't always need to shoot. Like the Huntress, some people try to dodge your shot so much that they lose a ton of distance and give you a free M1. This is great for you, you don't want to shoot whenever you don't have to. Getting an M1 without shooting gives you an opportunity to shoot them immediately after and get a quick down.
what even is mending anymore? It's useless, the meter doesn't go down in near all situations and by the time you leave them its done. They can still use items, they can still run the same speed. useless man

Remember the map is still pretty new. Neither side has adapted 100% yet. Take a look at Ormond for example, it's been around for a while and most people I play against, on both sides, can't run the tiles to save their lives.
With the placement of breakable walls you can be looped pretty hard on that building. Remember when they had to redo coal tower? this is worse imo
