Yes, she needs a buff on that, not a "god buff" but a small buff to his wind up.

All discussions about killer nerf/buff is pointless until into dev team join one real "killer player". For now dev team who balance killer side is swarmed by "grey plebs".
Actually... @Peanits and @not_Queen uses to play killer but I understand that balance it's a hard thing to do, so giving them ideas will help them to improve balance, a better balance can be translated in an improvement of game's health. Of course, I know that I, sometimes don't take things into account an some other players tell me "but that's too strong because X" and they are right.
Sometimes giving an idea to a dev could lead that the same dev have another idea who is based in that idea you gave, perhaps it's not your idea but... it's good to know that the inspiration came from your idea.

I agreed with the missed attack change. Deep wounds is fine because it keeps survivors from gens/healing. The movement speed could be faster I guess but then Wraith would be very outclassed.
The Wraith one was an example to make my point. About the faster speed, it's because sometimes you literally don't gain anything if you do the maths. Yes, you're faster but with the 4 second stun, you reach far if you go walking normally. So, in this way you will have an actual advantage for using your power.
Anyway, I think the "legion pin" is a bit strong for being a rare add-on

@Waffleyumboy said:
Deep wounds are fine as they are. Movement speed is too fast then. Missed attacks stunning you is part of the Legion playstyle, having to be careful and precise. I guess it could be changed with little consequence though. Just my thoughts.
Deep wound is not fine, it is very weak, we need to think that Legion's power basically is deep wound . The movement speed will be only for feral frenzy and it wouldn't be as fast as you think, the stun is not fine either, you loss 4 secs if you fail... and the power will deplete, even wraith power is better than that.

I think it should synergize with pop, but it shouldn't use the full 25% on a single gen unless there's only one nearby. For example, if there's 3 gens in the area then those 3 gens get the initial 8% regression plus an additional 8.33% from pop. Make it synergize with Overcharge as well and I think surge could be a great part of most killer builds.
And then you will kill new survivor player interests.
-
So? Not everyone plays at SWF nor every SWF is a sweaty one. This will, first encourages to play SWF because solos would be "nerfed", second, this wouldn't make the gap between SWF and solos smaller, it will get bigger instead. And third, casual SWF would be start playing more sweaty only to have a chance.

I'm not saying the spirit didn't deserve her nerf. All i'm saying is they keep lying about " fun " , spirit is just as unfun to play against , which is fine, because she is a balanced killer , but god damn it stop saying you are balancing stuff around " fun " i'm not seeing any veterans with over 1000 hours have fun with this game we are all burning out i swear grow a pair BHVR and change your game switch the meta do something
Because veterans doesn't like changes, it happens in life itself. Wich one have more chances to show tolerance to a gay man? A young man or an old man that despised the word "gay" all his life? I have only a year in this game, but most of the "veterans" just complain about changes because they are not open to it. The doctor rework seems good to me... and if he's unfun to play with when the PTB comes. I will give my feedback. The thing with nurse is... it was a whole rework and people keep comparing her to the old nurse, when they should not focus in "get old nurse back" but "make new nurse something enjoyable", their feedback should be "changes that will make the new nurse fun to play with" but the feedback is "a reminder that new nurse is not fun to play with", open it and you will see something like "nurse was severally nerfed..." (comparing her with the old nurse). Don't missunderstand me, I know new nurse is not fun to play with at all but BHVR won't bring old nurse back so... better focus on make feedback that will change the new nurse to something who is more enjoyable.

Yes. Just like you made nurse " more fun to play against and fun to play as ". Just like you made Oni " More fun to play against " and " fixed some bugs " . just like you made spirit " more fun to play against "
You guys don't know what fun is. And you are also incredibly scared to make big moves. Same meta for a long long time. People asked for old nurse kit back, nothing. People were extremely unsatisfied with the oni changes. Nothing. People want solo queue to stop being crap. Nothing. People want weak killers to be viable and feel satisfying. Nothing. People always burnout from playing this game from the lack of content. You have to start adding balance updates, whenever they need to be launched, not have a set calendar date like the roadmap , no , when balance is needed, balance the damn game
It's increible how biased and victimist people can be. What happended with the Oni was never intentional. The spirit is still one of the stronger and fun to play killer. The "nerf" of spirit was necessary, it wasn't ok for survivors to "oh, I got stuck, a survivor must be here", I mean the main idea of her power is not knowing where the survivors are but guessing where they are.
The Nurse is not fun to play at the moment but I don't believe they were in the wrong road, only they took things a bit too far with her basekit.

I mean, Freddy too was reworked because old Freddy was apparently "frustrating" to verse. No killer ever gets reworked because the person playing them find them frustrating or boring. Its always all about the survivor's fun.
A bit biased. Are we? Freddy was very weak. Needing to wait until the survivors are asleep in order to hit them. A lot of times survivors took advantage of it when someone was laying in the floor so they could heal him/her.
-
I don't think if I could call it a nerf but... her jumpscares. Some people might have heart issues and well, it could lead to their death. I know, it's an "horror game" but still I think a disclaimer before the game starts it's in order.
-
Hmmm. Let's see
1) Adding all the setups in the setup option, I mean if you're on PC you can see the user setings and modify it as you please so Why keep hidden them hidden?
2) Improving the sound experience with speakers (and on TV): If you're using headphones and you use speakers you will notice the difference, the game is heavily designed for headphones, so if you use speakers you need to turn the volume up in order to hear something.
3) I am sure it will be reworked but... rework the rift so it won't need to be so grindy. I mean, even for those who love the game... they have lifes outside the game also.
4) Taking three or two months at a year only for fixing bugs. It will reduce the amount of DLC in one and I think it will help a lot to implement the new DC penalty.
5) I know working on the same stuff for three months makes you feel stressed so, half of the time (so, a month and half) should be used in reworking and changing some killers.
Jack of all trades, master of none. Don't missunderstand me, what I am trying to say is... the devs are doing a good job but if they keep like it, if they keep trying to do all the stuff at the same time, all of it will remain incomplete. The game is growing so, giving more resources or focusing in some priority areas for a few months will certainly help.

Thanks for the advise, then the math is with plunderer.
The basic math for three chests with plunderer iri/purple key:
(1-(0.85^3))×2/3
You get the chance of not getting a key with the multiplication. Then you subtrate it from 1 to get the chances of getting one or multiple keys merged. After that you just multiply it with 2/3 to sort out green keys. For other chances you need to change the 0.85. For more chests you need to change the ^3.
Thanks buddy!

Ok, i'll do the math again without plunderer (15%).
3 chests (baseline): 25,72% chance of finding an iri or purple key.
5 chests (shiny coin): 37,09% chance of finding an iri or purple key.
With Plumbered you have 15% , without you have 7%
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/ChestsAlso How are you doing it? Serious question.
-
Well, I generally try to do the save, even with NOED. Of course, if the killer is proxy camping with NOED, that's something I highly will doubt to do. Also if you're one of the Claudettes that do nothing and is crouching the whole game with Urban Evasion. No, I am not going to save you.
-
Well, is not about being hard, it's about being luck based... I did the one that recquires to sacrifice every surv in the basement, but just one of them that DC and goodbye challenge. So until the DC penalty is implemented I suggest... changing the master challenges or removing them.
-
@FriendlyGuy said:

3 chests (baseline) is a chance of 49,6% to get a key.
5 chests (shiny coin) is a chance of 67,81% to get a key.
It's getting worse the more chests spawn.
Actually no, the 15% chance of a key being looted is per chest, and that's not cumulative.
Also it's a 15% of getting a key, it could be a dull key
-

Chests op, nerf chests!
No really, keys shouldn't be able to spawn in chests.
The chance with Plunderer to get a skeleton key or a dull key it's 20% more or less. You don't really have a key for free as you're relying on luck.

Keeping in mind that it is Behavior, they’ll do it in 2022 or even later. Or maybe quicker if they’ll stop making DLC’s, but they’ll do it very not soon.
I partially agree. Kindred could be base, wich is a huge bost to every solo but BHVR still is struggling because for them is all or nothing, 16 meter is a huge advantage but they could simply put kindred tier I wich is 8 meters (not a big advantage).

DBD is not competitive... "Someone wins and someone loses" that happens in every game, wich means there is competence, but competence doesn't mean competitive.

Well, I use his range add-ons and he is... for me, an easy win.
He doesn't need to know where a survivor is, only be sure that they stay in his TR long enough.
You win madness passively in his TR wich means if you're in his TR you need a) have madness tier II so you can last a bit without screaming or b) hide in a locker to avoid getting madness points.
So if you have a perk lke distressing wich increases your TR then yes, it gets pretty annoying.
-
As another users have told you, there are times where "safe unhook" is not possible. Sometimes a player risk his game (let's suppose open gates and killer with NOED) to save you, because they are very altruistic-
I understand some people are hook farmers and can be annoying (that's why the devs changed the requisite for WGLF from "unhook" to "safe unhook") but there is not much that you can do it about it. And you need to think that not every unsafe unhook is a way to farm, some people really wants you to escape or try taking the hit for you.
There were a lot of times where I had not BT but the unhook was worth the risk sometimes (because being camped since the start of the match it's not something that I could call fun), and as the save was too risky generally the killer used to think that I had BT wich leads me to take their place in the hook and them to go away freely. I am trying to say that not every unsafe unhook is with bad intentions or "to farm you".

Let's be honest here, with how much loops actually the game has, it's highly probably you last 30 secs to find another survivor and hit them, and players know it because when I told someone "it's 5 sec stun, not a big deal" he told me "it's not 5 secs, it's 5 secs and 30 secs of chase wich means a loss of 35 secs", the only time where it can be an issue to deal with it's on on the end game collapse but disable it is not an option due that some players says "If all gens are done I am going to camp in order to assure a kill", wich leads if someone rescue you, the killer is likely going to tunnel you. Actually that happended in a match I had against Doctor, He hooked me before the fifth gen poped up but camped me anyway (I never was hooked but I was in the second phase when I was rescued), when a teammate rescued me I ran to the exit gate but the doctor hitted me, then I used DS and escaped.

It's not a good idea if you're a seller to drive everyone away. Right?
Well, the same applies to SWF, they are half of the community whether you like it or not.

Why would an intelligent person make dumb remarks?
That's not the point of my comment but even inteligent people sometimes think or say dumb things. Being inteligent doesn't mean you're some kind of God who knows everything. Sometimes, based on your info you can deduct something that for people who knows exactly how that works will think it's stupid but that doesn't make you stupid, there are no relation between those two things.

"man that is a dumb comment you posted"
^yeah, it kinda is.
It's not. A person (me, in example) can say/write some stupid things but that doesn't make me stupid, if what I say sounds stupid it's not because I am. Is it? And that's coming from a sensitive man.
-
@ZoneDymo said:
Ok so number 1, saying a person isnt stupid but everything they do is, is kinda still calling that person stupid.
But (nr2) dont shy away from that, I as well find that baffeling logic, the entire reason kindred was considered to be made basekit/mechanic was to make solo and SWF closer so they could balance better around it..... so yeah...
Hmm nope. Saying that a person do something stupid is not calling nor thinking that person is stupid, chill down.

Because that’s life, you shouldn’t be selfish. Just help your teammates and get out of the game?? And if you can’t then you die, another way you are out of the game so I mean...
This is not life, this is a game we are talking about. If you don't like let's say Skirim Are you forced to play it until the very end? No, games are supposed to be enjoyable so if you don't enjoy, let's say the killer camps/tunnels even if they are legit strategies. Why you should stay? You DON'T enjoy. Every competition allows you to withdraw.

No, this is a game and everyone can quit. If it's not by DC they will do on death hooks. Why a person should be forced to play a match they don't enjoy?

If you can hit regular skillchecks you should be able to hit reversed ones as well for the most part. Also I don't see why someone would run Lullaby it's a waste of a perk slot, especially because it's a Hex perk.
Hmm the only thing they will change is the static field (gaining madness passively) into static blast (gaining a lot of madness and you decide when to active it). You still have the therapy schock attack. So you can shock survivors like you normally do.

I’ve decided to make this thread since everyone thinks that in order to use sprint burst effectively, you need to walk everywhere, which isn’t true.
While using sprint burst, you generally want to run to the middle gen and then work on it (unless the killer is near) then repair while your exhaustion recovers, the killer is probably at a corner of the map looking for people.
While being chased, if the killer isn’t sure where you are, walk or stand still. You should be recovering exhaustion while you wait to see the killers movement at certain loops.
If you’re exhausted but the killer finds you, don’t fret! You likely have recovered a lot of exhaustion at this point if you knew when to sprint burst to the gen. This isn’t always the case but I’ve found I’m usually close to being recovered or have recovered.
Once you learn these tricks then you should be able to make good distance with sprint burst at key moments.
Also, this video shows a good way to manage sprint burst.
Why the perks looks red?

I thought that too, and on the same grounds - that lobby dodging wasn't that big a problem, so overall it was a net positive. However, I'm a bit torn now, because while I personally enjoyed the feature because it helped me to design a useful build and have appropriate expectations about how much I could rely on my teammates during the game, the amount of people I've seen on the forums complaining that they can't dodge new players now makes me think that maybe the devs had the right idea. They do have access to data that we don't, after all (like lobby dodging rates).
You're right. It was an interesting feature of course, and whether I like to help new people in the game, I would like to have perks who help them if the killer decide to tunnel or camp, I know they are valid strategies but... imagine it you recently bought dead by daylight and it turns to be Hooked Simulator
-
@Fibijean said:
The way they explained it in the stream, it's basically because lobby dodging costs more time for everyone involved. Since they're in the middle of trying to improve matchmaking and queue times, it seemed counterintuitive to allow a feature to remain in the game which made that issue even worse.
Hmm I don't get it either. The people that dodged a lobby was practically the same as now, honestly there weren't much people who dodged when ranks were on . Besides, if you knew your teammate is a newbie then you could equip yourself with perks that could help that newbie or even put an offering like party bloody party streamers.
So lobby dodging wasn't much of an issue and they know it. Basically is a "We don't want to do it, then we won't do it", it's ok, it's their game and they are free to decide whatever they please.
But even I, who don't like playing with newbies played with them. Why? As I knew they were newbies it was probably the killer were too, so I could use perks that helps me more like selfcare (or using a medkit) and not relying in a teammate that never would heal me.

Goodluck, I play killer 95% of the time. Was mostly calling myself a hypocrite since I was calling someone out on doing that on a different thread earlier. The OP of that thread was saying he hates when he has a worthless teammate screw over his team by leaving by themselves with a key. A reply soon after gave him ######### saying hes a killer who feels like he needs 4k every game... obviously missing the part where OP was playing SURVIVOR, lol.
I'll take the 5% chance then, if I could escape 10 times more or less with the 4% then I certainly have more chances, and since I run Ace Visconti perks my luck is increased 😆

Go to a local game store/retailer and purchase a Steam card. Cheapest one is about $20 (for me at least, depends on where you're located.)
The card gives you a code that you input to your Steam client that will give you Steam credit directly, which can be used to buy Auric Cells. Don't even need to attach your bank account to Steam.
If this isn't an option for you, then you're out of luck.
I can try that! Thank you so much.

@[Deleted User] said:
MoM needs to be reworked imo. It's too difficult to balance. It's either too weak or too powerful.
DS on the other hand is the single most powerful, most game impacting perk in the entire game, has been since its inclusion into the game and it only got buffed from the rework. Apparently a lot of people including BHVR thinks that's perfectly balanced somehow, though. I guess every other single perk in the game is simply completely under powered.
I'm not against an anti-tunneling perk at all, but DS does that and far more. Or, killers should be allowed to have a DS equivalent on their side because if it's considered 'toxic' to do the killer's objective efficiently, it should be considered 'toxic' for Survivors to complete generators in 3~4 minutes, too. And Ruin isn't cutting it.
It got buffed? Nice bait.

As much as i dont like saying it, RUIN is standard in a High rank killer game, SWF is ridiculously powerful against a killer, coms literally makes it a whole nother game. But anywho they should nerf SWF by giving them Ruin by rank and gens left
Coms do nothing. It's called being coordinated. I play in SWF with some friends and you know what? Everyone dies. Why? Because we can't be coordinated, voice comms doesn't make SWF strongs, knowing your teammate skills does.

@SnakeSound222 said:
MoM is fine. You actually have to work for it now.
DS gives the Survivors 60 seconds of invincibility and needs to be nerfed.
Is not 60 secs of invincibility. I had matches as killer with four DS users, I rarelly saw it as an issue and didn't need to slug . If you see the same survivor that you just hooked, it's probably a bait, you can extend the chase and win more BP, making the DS user waste pallets, as a DS user want you to waste time and hit you with DS.
Same with BT. A lot of killer says "they unhooked someone in front of my face, it guarantees a free shot", and no it doesn't. You can a) follow the unhooker and make him pay, if you saw them, means they are not too far away from you and can chase them or b) chase the survivor who has endurance and wait for the bloodlust tier I wich starts exactly at 15 secs. Generally if someone has the endurance status effect they will be closer to you and act clumsy.
