they did it over the top in 9 for get if he did it in 9 and I hread he does it 1 time in 10 jason X doesn't mean he got the power to do it
he not really supernatural with powers he supernatural as he overpowered zombie who kills people doesn't eat them
no 8 was bad editing and in 9 and 10 he didn't do it as much so teleporting off screen not proof he got teleporting powers
"It only happened once in Jason X" It still happened. You keep saying "No its just bad editing" No its not, you have no evidence of that whatsoever. The editing of that scene is very intentional. They very clearly made a shot of kane hodder looking up at the guy on the ladder. There is literally no other place for that shot to go.
In 9 he literally was swapping bodys with people and your telling me thats not supernatural? Come on now. You have to know thats not true.
We have clear cut evidence that he teleports, you have provided no evidence that he doesn't teleport.

they bad movie and he does to it in 1 because he not in it he didn't do it in 2 or 3 or 4 5 which he was also not the killer or 6 or 7 only in 3 bad edited movies
also he didn't do it in Freddy vs jason only won because the survivor help him if you remember also Freddy didn't really die at the end if you watch it all.
also I do feel the bad editing was intentional to make it scarier why because a lot horror movie icon have TP off screen to show up out of no where so let say this if he has it then all killers in horror movies have it not his power alone all killers have done it.
He didn't have it in 2-4 cause he was still human, not supernatural yet. He wasn't in 1-5 so that is irrelevant. The power wasn't introduced till 8 where it was used extensively in 8, 9, and 10. These films are made by different film makers, its up to them to decide if they want to use his ability to teleport. You keep saying "Well its only 3 movies" Like that isn't a fourth of the entire movie series.
As for the editing, you don't know its bad editing do you? Your being presented with clear evidence of him teleporting and rather than just accepting it you go "No that definitely just bad editing its not like they wrote him disappearing into the script", but they did. This isn't one of those things up for debate, they showed him teleporting in a fourth of the movies. Its one of his main powers in the video game that is part of the canon. There is no reason whatsoever to say he can't teleport.

it being in the game not proof because the filmmaker didn't make the game dev put TP in game because one movie with bad editing off screen TP it not proof.
and it only happen in movie after 8 so they did this in 8 9( jason go to hell and 10 (jason X) which all were bad movies.
Doesn't matter, each movie is made by almost always a different film maker so the game being made by different people is irrelevant. Especially considering the game is confirmed to be canon. One bad movie? You literally just stated it happened in 3 mate. It doesn't matter if 8,9, and 10 were bad because they all still happened nonetheless. And do you have any evidence the editing wasn't intentional? Because you keep saying that but haven't given any reason as to why that wasn't what the film maker was going for.

chuck not fair he transplant his soul in to other dolls and people
They have never implied jason teleports either it all assumption because how part 8 was with no proof but bad editing and here say.
edit what was jason proper answers? that he does TP plz I bet with no proof again
Freddy, And Ghost Face we all know how they do it but it been in horror movies for year killer alway TP off screen out of no where not just a jason thing because of 8 everyone think he got this power.
if he had TP power he shouldn't be so easy to kill and should be unstoppable think about that.
Oh wow, people think he teleports because a movie showed him teleport and a game later represented that by having him teleport? Must be crazy we are.
Heres my argument that he does teleport:
We've seen him do stuff that can only be accomplished via teleporting. A canon game later reaffirmed his ability to teleport twice over. This ability also makes sense as he is now supernatural.
Heres your argument as to why he doesn't teleport so far:
No Proof (Not true)
Bad editing. Is there any proof that wasn't intentional other than the script specifically mentioning him disappearing? How about all the other movies in which it happens?
He'd be to strong if he could TP. Ummm no, we've literally already seen him beaten with this ability. If Freddy (Who literally controls your nightmares), can be ebaten, I think Jason using his ability to sometimes teleport doesn't make him unstoppable.
-
Crows work for the entity, not the killers. The Entity wants to feed on hope, sometimes the best way to feed on hope can be revealing the location of the killer or vice versa.

true I'm sick of this but me saying it a horror movie trope is every horror icon has done it (myers, chucky, freddy so many other) have done the teleporting out of no where it why I said it not his alone.
Ah okay. I do find it weird only Freddy, Jason, And Ghost Face have proper answers.

like I say teleporting thing is a horror movie trope not his alone and they only over did it in F13 part 8 and onward.
fine you couldn't find where the filmmakers said that don't change what I think and it wont.
who know what his power will be in dbd if he gets in I don't care at this point this gone on to long.
Okay, we’re both sick of this so I’ll try to keep this short.
I really don’t see how it being a trope matters, it doesn’t stop the fact that he was literally given the ability to teleport in the later movies and games.
My point here is that this really isn’t up for debate. Hes shown to teleport in the movies. Hes shown to teleport in games. Therefore he can teleport.
I also just feel the need to clarify that its totally fine if you don’t want, I can understand if you don’t like or want it.

ignore what? bad film editing dude think what you want but if he get in he not getting TP knowing these dev and they killers not going to happen I also look at your link no where it say filmmakers said that
say:
The movies never bothered to explain Jason’s inexplicable ability to be in two places at once, but Gun Media and Illfonic have decided to employ the trick in the upcoming Friday the 13th: The Game.
like I said they put it in game so he get around better I watch the video maps look big but dbd maps are small so I don't see him getting TP power
if anything if jason got in he be stronger faster trapper with out he traps power use any weapon on the map which I don't know if that be cool or good.
You keep saying “The movies were cash grabs” like that means anything for this debate. And the editing of that scene was very intentional. Also, I’m not trying to argue he would TP if he got in the game. I’m saying that he can TP in general. Theres tons of stuff they can do with his power it just likely wouldn’t be teleporting since we already have killers that can do that. You also just outright disregarded the part of the comment where I said that was the closest I could find since everything else was a guide or question. And I also said they gave him 2 teleporting abilities, one to help traverse the map and the other specifically to represent his ability to appear from nowhere like the movies.

I gave you examples of bad film editing and he could be just fast and strong
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdi923NG-HE
here you go he could easily jumped down climbed the ladder kid wasn't going that fast anyways
also bad film editing.
this stuff only happen in 8 and up because at that point that milking a dead cow at this point.
No, there’s literally no way he climbed that ladder, they even included a shot of him not climbing it to hammer the point home. And they might have been milking the franchise sure, that doesn’t mean you can just ignore them.

how about he jumped down like nothing hurts him I never said he couldn't jump from a building not get hurt.
the most likely gave him the teleport,to get around the game easier(I never played the game so I don't know the size of the maps)jason being the only killer in the game they had to give him something.
but in dbd why I feel he so overrated is people think he going to be this teleporting hulk who stomp allt he survivors and if you ever played killer we know this not going to happen.
if he gets in to the game he going to be like trapper but picking up different weapon to hurt survivors with I'm sure he not going to get a teleport
like I said he only does this 'teleport' in 8 and up and come on after the 6 movie nothing was making sense.
one more edit
Does Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees have teleportation
Not really. Those scenes where he seems to magically appear out of nowhere is a trait most horror villains possess, VIII only took this to a more absurd level. If they can’t teleport when someone’s watching them then it’s not real teleportation. A real teleport like nightcrawler or dr strange can teleport when being observed or not.
In the Friday the 13 th
films, Jason Voorhees occasionally does this. in Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, this was intentionally accentuated in the script in order to make the killer seem more terrifying, because you couldn't know where he would turn up next. Except they went too far in editing, turning it into an almost comically overt usage of this power that was supposed to be merely implied. The worst moment has to be when he's at the bottom of a ladder, the victim climbs up the ladder...and Jason is waiting at the top. Classically bad.
- Jason X used it extensively. Jason almost never walked into a room. He was just there. Or worse, sometimes he appear outside the (one-exit) room when the victim walked in. Taken to ridiculous heights in the first major gun battle, where three soldiers with full-auto rifles unload on him, never turning away. In the split second of darkness which comes with them accidentally shooting out the lights, Jason is gone.
- This trope is sometimes called the "Voorhees Unreality Engine" due it its ubiquitous use in the films.
So Jason Vorhes did something that athletic and it had no effect on him? Later in that movie we see him get knocked around by a boxer, I think we would at least see his legs bend if he made a jump like that. He has 2 teleport abilities in F13, one for map traversal and another time o help him in a chase. Almost exactly like he does in the movies. Also, he doesn’t matter why they gave him the ability to teleport because the fact still remains that he teleports! Part 8 how exactly can he get on top of the ladder when he was at the bottom? And as you mentioned it also happened in Jason X. You say he can’t teleport and then you immediately list all these examples of him teleporting, what is your point?

No worries, happy to help. I'll check it out, seems cool. Just so you know the Entity didn't take Ash, he screwed up an incantation and got booted to the Entitys realm, the Entity would probably want nothing to do with Ash cause hes "The Chosen One".

agree to disagree because this never going to end.
How else would we see him TP? Its literally right there, its not like theres any other way he could have gotten down that building in mere seconds. The thing is, its not even a debate is it? Its just the movie makers outright showing he acn teleport, with the canon game reaffirming it and yet people still acting like he can't.

Prisoner KSC2-303.
All right I'll include everyone on this. I looked it up.
Hes from a 2000 movie called versus. Heres what the wiki says:
"There are 666 portals on Earth that connect this world to the other side which are concealed from human beings. However, there are some who are aware of their existence and are willing to locate and open the gates of the portals to obtain the power of darkness for their own use. Somewhere in Japan, there exists the 444th portal known as The Forest of Resurrection."
People there come back as zombies. A Convicted Prisoner known as Prisoner KSC2-303 escapes and is caught in the middle of it. He seems to be at an almost Ash level of skill in terms of power. Actually seems like a fun movie, might watch it later.

the last one was the disco girl
People seem to forget that disco girl in part 8 did a line of coke. That whole scene was meant to play on that. She was straight out trippin. Jason probably never actually left his original spot. As far as any other scene where he just shows up...well, the answer is easy. It's a damn movie. They have to create suspense, tension, and jump scares somehow. No need to over analyze it.
- another Quote
I'm sure the simplest explanation in Part 8, not story wise, is that the filmmakers wanted to misdirect the audience as to where Jason could be. That's why they played with the idea of him appearing, reappearing. Especially in that dance floor sequence. It creates a claustrophobic atmosphere that Jason could be anywhere, and the characters are never safe. He can then pop up for the jump scare!
Same goes for Mr.McCulloch running away from him and then being launched out the building window; To misdirect. I did think it was quite amazing though that Jason is able to beat him to the building before he even enters it, haha! It's like Jason knew where McCulloch was going to be beforehand.
Maybe theorizing from a story aspect, Jason can teleport. He's already at the height of his supernatural abilities in Part 8, why not?
I don't think he does IMO this why I stopped liking the after 5.
Mate, story perspective is the entire movie. It was the film makers decision to misdirect the audience by having Jason teleport everywhere, thats why they gave him the ability. How do you make a character appear spontaneously with no warning? Let them teleport. Its not a theory that he did it storywise, its literally the only feasible explanation. That's kinda like saying its a theory Freddy can control dreams, its not a theory because it was directly shown to us.

Ohhhhh, we seem to have gotten conflicted on the terminology. Ok, just so you know the Ethereal plane is only one specific sub realm, so if PH did get his own layer it would be called a sub realm rather than an Ethereal plane. To avoid confusion.

can I get link of the film makers responded that Jason could teleport I like to see this.
Can't find the link to an interview, everything is about a guide or tons of questiond. This was the closest I could find http://www.warpzoned.com/2017/01/jason-can-teleport-in-the-latest-friday-the-13th-the-game-gameplay-trailer/
Also, Part 8 was actually quite clear with him teleporting. Like the part where he throws a guy out the window of a second story building and is immediately on the ground not five seconds later. Then theres also the scene where a chick is in the center of the room and he somehow manages to be in every single corner of the room at once. How is that possible unless hes teleporting?

Well yes and no ,we came to the agreement that the have thier own realms and could possibly travel to and forth on the each other's realm, but to say Pyramid Head exist outside of this is ludicrous imo much like Freddy he can't hurt you outside of his realm unless he was pulled out of it.
Well yes, its entirely possible PH can come with his own sub realm. Perhaps like the other world in SH2 and thats how Silent Hill gives him the ability to cage and execute people. But he simply doesn't match the characteristics of The Ethereal Plane specifically, much like how Nurse and wraith have their own sub realm in the Spirit World, its possible PH got his own specific layer.

what movie have you watched show him TP?
I meant is lawsuit over or close to being over.....
and (the devs having direct access to the movie) matter nothing because he don't TP in them I seen all of them.
Yes the lawsuit is close to being over.
I'm going to put this as simple as possible, Jason can Teleport. In the movies hes shown to come out of nowhere, this was left up to ambiguity by the film makers. When the developers were making F13 the game they asked the film director how Jason could appear out of nowhere as they wanted to represent it in the game, the film makers responded that Jason could teleport.
Also, in the movies we have a character who can appear out of nowhere, almost like they're teleporting. And in the game that has actual effect on the lore of the movies that same character can teleport, so every sign we have is that Jason can teleport.

his big thing in his movies was being able kill someone with anything that around him at the time not TP if that the case all killers should TP I watched a lot of horror movie and they all show up at of no where.
Okay I have no idea what you said about the lawsuit because that wording makes no sense but I do know what you mean with the TP. The devs had direct access to the movie and made Jasons moveset exactly as it was in the movie, so yes, him being able to TP in game does mean he can TP in the movies.Your argument doesn't make much sense if I'm honest. Where exactly did you get the idea that he is entire power was luck?

with the lawsuit having him in this game could mess up dead by daylight like it did his game.
F13 the game only follows the movies, if he can TP in the game he can TP in the movies. Thats how they designed it. Thats also not how the lawsuit works, since after the lawsuit is over theres nothing they can fight over, and as such nothing to interfere with the game.

So there's some rules thier bound by you're saying, because living beings wouldn't be able to see the ethereal plane this is why they would be invisible and why freddy is invisible now at a certain range ,all we can do is work off of head cannon but I really want to know word for word what that agreement was ,I could say obviously since he's allowed to execute right on the spot that's all,but it must be more ,I personally like to think that he gets to keep the Silent Hill cast for himself rather than executing the DBD main survivor's.
Yeah, some realms have rules for stuff. My personal head cannon for it was that he didn't have to be bound by the entitys rules, like he'll follow the Entity unless he deems it necessary to disobey.

Yeah, I guess it does ,but I still think the ethereal plain is home to alot of monster's and not specifically tied to one being ,Though these realms are different but because of their supernatural ties to one another their able to travel back and forth through our existence, except pyramid head and freddy unless they were brought there, also apology excepted.
Oh yeah, its very possible other creatures could use the ethereal plane, but the realm has certain characteristics within it. Like no blood pools and invisible survivors for instance. PH and Freddy were both brought here by the Entity. Freddy in the middle of chasing Quentin. And PH a few years after SH2, his bio described it as "An Unspoken Agreement" Between him and the Entity.

The fact that it doesn't happen at 100% is better balance in itself than the 100% chance everytime a non-Broken key is brought or RNGesus grants them one in a chest and they manage to find the Hatch.
How? All it does is ruin the inconsistency. It doesn't change the fact you can still get cucked from 2 or 3 kills by a key, it just makes it happen less.

Hey man you don't have to go there with that tone as if I'm just some idiot, I simply don't know, the connection with Wraith and Nurse with the spirit world. Now far as I know the Dream World yeah is only a thin line between the realm of The Entity.
The spotlight trailer doesn't say Pyramid Head calls upon the forces of Silent Hill ,and from lore we know the Entity takes the license characters and changes there abilities and give them new ones or enhances them. Pyramid Head put victims in cages in a workshop not by sending them through a dimension, The Entity honed his abilities. The Demogorgon ability was honed allowing him to put down multiple portal's and I'm aware that all of these place's are different from The Entities realm, but now that there all there in it's dimension, what I'm saying is I'm sure they all are apart of the same realm now, I'm not sure who's telling you that Pyramid Head can be outside of Silent Hill because what would be the point of the Entity of Silent Hill to call anyone to the town, it would just send a monster or an Executioner to where ever.
Sorry if my tone came off as condescending, that was not my intention.
The devs stated he calls upon the sources of Silent Hill in the 4th anniversary live stream, my bad. As for him not sending survivors through a dimension, I know, thats kinda my point. These places aren't different from the Entitys dimension, they make it up. Realms are maps, they can't all be apart of one realm. PH can absolutely be outside of Silent Hill, in game he can go to any map. If killers couldn't leave they're realm where do Ghostface ,Leatherface, and Blight hunt people? How did Nurse and Wraith fall in love? Does that make sense?

This doesn't seem like an improvement, more like the same thing with a lower chance to happen. That doesn't feel balanced. Its still a get out of jail free card, just not as often.

Yeah, probs jus gonna be 4 characters every time. Those Tome V predictions COULD BE accurate, tho 😉😉😬
Soo YaY Nea! Mah Bestie❣️
I feel as if I'm missing a context clue here.

No. Half its value comes from the fact it gives bloodpoints, its not even a massively strong perk.

He does show signs of accessing this other world maybe not in the fashion as a full body transition but through his cages he's clearly able to access this ethereal plain. He is a manifestation after all but in a physical form and much like Freddy if he's in the fog world I don't believe he can hurt you in the real world, this is why The Entity realm is the playing field where they can be in psychical contact outside of there own dimension.
Where does it say Wraiths power allows him access to the ethereal plain, because you can still see him visible I believe that's only a power .
Okay, I'm gonna explain this to you as best as possible.
The ethereal plane is just a sub realm. Like a layer on top of the map. First it goes the real map, where everything physically is, then goes the dream plane on top, this is only relevant to freddy. Up next come the ethereal plane layered in between, Spirit uses this to traverse the map in phase shift, then on top comes the spirit world, this is where Nurse and Wraith get they're power from. Finally comes the upside down, where only the space between portals exist, can only be used by demogorgon.
You can tell Nurse and Wraith are in the spirit world because they are the only to killers with lightburn. Dbds wiki specifically mentions this https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Lightburn
PH can cage people because he calls upon the forces of Silent Hill, it has nothing to do with the plane he resides in. This was stated in his spotlight. The fog world does not extend past Silent Hill and since PH can appear outside of Silent Hill he is not tied to the fog world in any after the being snagged by the Entity.

If you’re talking about Story arch advancements and characters that have been featured in Tomes with MasterChallenges an the likes, then Blight hasn’t yet been featured or had his official memory/log entries/ challenges/ etc.
I suppose it also depends on how many killers and survivors devs decide to feature in each Tome.
For instance, Tome V will (“could”😏) supposedly be Hillbilly, Adam, Nea and Blight.
If they have Tomes w more or less characters per, then the time frame could run longer or even conclude sooner than we predict.
I guess Blight doesn't count, I was talking more like "Does this person have a cutscene?" All tomes seem to follow the same idea of four characters, equal number of killers and survivors (Alchemist is weird since they weren't a killer at the time.) The devs seem to have settled into a pattern so it seems like this is at least semi accurate.

The problem is that this game just feels impossible to balance - especially now that SWF was podged into the game without any real thought of how it would work out.
As it stands, a mediocre SWF group can run rings around most intermediate killers (especially thanks to no killer matchmaking) which is going to lead to both miserable killers and possibly power creep, which will hurt solo survivors.
Good luck fixing that one.
Yeah thats true, full balance is definitely impossible. But it should hopefully be better at closing the power gap between certain killers and the gap between Solo Q and SWF.

When I say real world for this game I mean the ethereal plain thats The Entities Realm, Pyramid Head is currently residing in The Entities realm, but there or it seems other pockets of dimension some killer's can use Like Freddy, he can Snare people in the Dream World but for only a short time, also The Spirit can use this ethereal plain probably why she leaves behind a husk because she can only exist between the two for a short duration,Yes can consider Midwich the Other World because of how messed up it is from the actual Real World version from SH1 but I'm sure if Spirit was to traverse around Freddy and Pyramid Head she would still be able to see them as the would be able to see her,Nurse also because she's using this pocket dimension All four of them exist in the realm of The Entity but there able to access this Spirit World, Pyramid Head has never been in the Real World of Silent Hil.I don't know about that if this was before The Entity pulled Cheryl in but this sounds more like a before thing,do survivor's sleep? If not this manifested in her dreams before she was pulled in.
The ethereal plane of the Entity and Silent Hills real world are not the same thing. These "Worlds" act as layers rather than pocket dimensions.
Take Freddy for example, he exists in the dream world and survivors can't see him, his influence travels across the layer and survivors are lulled to sleep, making them visible in both the real world and the dream world. Or wraith, when he goes invisible he travels into Spirit realm he appears see through in the real world.
PH shows no effects of the ethereal plane, as you mentioned spirit leaves a husk behind when she travels through, this doesn't happen with PH meaning he can't exist in that sub realm, we know its impossible for them to be in the ethereal plane because they can see blood pools, which spirit can not unless the entity grants her the ability with addons.
Since we haven't been given any indication that Silent Hills dimensions extend outside of Midwich we can assume the Entity moved PH to the real world.
