They ain't annoying yet, I quite enjoy them.
I think Blight and Ghost Face would succeed, Super fast traversal and the ability to basically disappear? Thats an invest for me.
-
Undying allows for 5 totems to become hexes.
-
By the way this might be my last concept for a while, coming up with new powers and perks is hard and I mads this and the Alien concept pretty much back to back. Plus I'm getting pretty burnt out.

I would like to remind everyone that PH can hit through walls. That alone is enough for his power to be more than useful. His torments also allows him to bypass all camping perks which is unfair. They are more than likely not going to be nerfing him enough.
His attack is extremely hard to hit normally, its nigh impossible to hit around walls without something like "I'm All Ears", his ability to ignore survivor hook perks comes with the fact he can't get nearly as much out of killer hook perks like BBQ and Pop.
-
Sounds cool, thought tons of problems with collision would likely emerge.
-
Yeah its asinine at times.
-
They should increase the speed you vault yes, though bamboozle won't block.
-
For me yes, I have tons of fun chasing down and maiming survivors.
-
They're getting better at this.
-
Agreed, They're trying but this ain't it. I hope the ptb proves me wrong though.
-
I wanna see Blood Warden get reworked while keeping the idea of it. My concept would be that you get a token for every survivor on Death Hook, once an exit gate is opened the tokens are consumed and an equivalent amount of totems will spawn. Until half of the hex totems are cleansed survivors on death hook will be prevented from leaving.
-
I'm quite the basic ######### lol
-
Yeah, they're thinking in the right place but this wasn't the way to go imo. Still gotta hold off judgment till we actually get our hands on him.
-
Wait, why is Pig so high and GF so low? RBTs aren't exactly useful in a fight and without them Pig is like a worse GF.
-
Sounds nice, might just end up being a slightly worse Spirit though. I've never been a very big fan of the Jumpscare part of FNAF so not exactly stoked about the passive, but thats just me. Nice work.

I think Ace would survive but ultimately sacrifice himself in the end.
It's just an Ace thing to do if you ask me.
You know, thats definitely something Ace would do.
-
Wish granted, Jacob is now banned.
-
I've never seen only fans in DBD, I've seen it elsewhere, but not here.
-
Agreed, give our boy some love.

GF has no anti-loop (no red light don't count), no mobility and his power can be revealed and has a cooldown. I agree with the other two though.
I disagree. GFs lack of a red stain is incredibly useful for mind games. As well as crouching, as it lets you gain distance before the survivor spots you. If you've got a good enough angle you can also snag a cheeky stalk off. Better than Myers I'm not sure, but he certainly has anti loop.

I think ghostface has a higher skill cap, because of all the crazy stalking angles he has, and how he has to set up a good place to stalk.
Thats understandable, I just personally find that hitting shots and time management with PH gives them a higher skill ceiling than GF.
-
Ace definitely survives, hes too lucky and tough. And Dwight is 1000% safe, all he needs is a locker and hes good.
-
Never seen it, but the design looks cool and people seem to like the idea, so I'm down.

I like your approach, but I want to ask you : Which one in your example do you consider low- and which one high skill ceiling? :D
Pyramid Head is the high skill ceiling and Ghost Face is the lower skill ceiling. Sorry, I should have been clearer.
-
Pick two to main, and however many to pocket. I'd suggest picking one with a high skill ceiling and lower style skill ceiling. For me that would Ghost Face and Pyramid Head, but thats just me, pick who vibes with you the most.
-
Doesn't spine chill activate if your within 36 meters of the survivor? Spine chill will always activate in stalking range.

I'll start the collection now because even if people admit the search function is bugged or broken at most - there are a ton of these on the first page still:

You just made a thread about it too.
Difference is I'm not making the same argument and am actively discouraging making other posts.
-
By the way I plan on doing another SCP concept next for my 2000th post if anyone cares.

good job mr. spammer
I feel as if I missed a joke here.

I think Myers would be from a slasher.
-
Keep the lid on the box Pandora, you won't like whats inside.
-
You want four survivors every chapter? I think we should focus on perks and story instead of pandering to ethnicities. I'm glad the diversity we've gotten so far hasn't been forced.
-
It depends on how its handled, I don't have a problem with John Kramers wife having a miscarriage cause its given the appropriate tragicness it deserves. Putting a pregnant lady in DBD just doesn't fit this games tone and can mentally hurt people.
-
He may be gone, but he will not be forgotten. We'll make damn sure of that. I can't wait for the day when we can officially say cancer is eradicated from this world.

When did they say that?
This was made before the fourth anniversary stream. At the time the devs built up a mystery to who the next killer was, it turned out to be our boy Pyramid Head.
-
Nice work, this was very well done. Just so you know Heathers bio (You can't make me call her Cheryl) states she was taken 3 months after SH3, so her place is confirmed to be 2003-2004.
-
Cause MMR will be back so the devs want us to get familiar with this new system.
-
Yeah, it happens a ton. Last week I was in a chase, vaulted as GF onto the other side, survivor ran back around; and I literally rubberbanded to the other side of the wall straight into the survivor. I found that a wired connection reduces it quite a bit though.
-
Its not even like its a difficult task, a ######### PS1 game did it better.

I disagree with it being prominent. I don't think it'll affect him more than any other killer.
Ahh gotcha, while I disagree I do see where your coming from. I just feel that characters like GF that 15 seconds can be quite prominent for managing time efficiently and still getting the Pop.
-
@Kolonite said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1644236#Comment_1644236
My point wasn't that it wasn't useful. It's that they don't need it. It can be helpful to have an extra 15 seconds on every killer.
Okay, whats the problem with what I'm saying then? For characters like GF this is quite a prominent nerf to the perk.

I meant to respond to you. I'm stupid lol
Happens to the best of us. I don't see how either of those examples disprove my case though. Like it or not it takes time to stalk and down someone, and having 15 extra seconds is incredibly useful. Is it necessary? No. Is it helpful? Yes.
-
I didn't even realize Payday 2 got DBD content. I would be so down for some cosmetics for both sides.

Yeah, Ghostface doesn't take that much strategy lmao
You'd be surprised. After a hook stalking and getting an extra down can be useful, or just chasing regularly off a hook since his power is on a timer and is an m1 killer without it. You have to play quite methodically and plan out your moves while the game progresses, in which case those 15 seconds can be pivotal to getting the Pop off.
-
@Starr43 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1644071#Comment_1644071
If we’re talking Ghostface then I say thrilling should be buffed to reset after every hook
Those aren't the same thing though. And its not just Ghost Face, killers like Myers and Pig can get tons of use out of those 15 seconds.
-
@Starr43 said:
Be honest.. how many pops are you actually using between 45 and 60 seconds. 15 seconds is hardly a nerf.
For killers that require more methodical actions like Ghost Face 15 extra seconds of Pop is extremely useful at times.
-
@Almo said:
Pop's duration is being reduced because we found you could spend too much time doing other things and still have it available.
Can I just ask what the problem with that was? Why exactly is it so pivotal that this perk specifically gets changed out of all the others? What was the problem with holding out before using it?
-
I'm a big fan of the change, though they should probably make his wave easier to land to compensate.
-
Honestly though, how does the 21 year old game look better?
