  • I personally hoped we'd get him on Survivor side, because I don't really know which killer I'd put him over.

After all he is the 4th survivor (Huehuehue)

And before anyone says but his codename, you can die when he is playable anyways so oop

One thing I'd love to see on survivor side is unique head on animations (references to their melee moves in RE) for the Resident evil cast, it would be a fun easter egg and flavour for them.

  • with the diminishing returns I don't see why it can't be buffed

Yes even with thrill of the hunt. Heyexes are simply an outdated concept. Best used as 1 slot where survviorivors still have other guaranteed perks to deal wotith , rather than you relying on RNG

That's just a matter of opinion, why do you think pig mains run it as a popular build?

Like sorry I'm not gonna believe you just off you going "No". There is a p100 Xeno main I see run it all the time, its insane

i mean mainly because hexes are kinda garbage and almost exclusively work on already bad surcivorvivors , while good ones will cleanse them in tbhe first minute. And in today's meta you need guaranteed time. Making slowdown the only real choice of perks

Ever since the thrill of the hunt rework? No not at all, this particular combo is awful for it. You should give it a go, I faced against it and was like how do I even deal with this.

  • The call is coming from inside the house lmaooo

  • Xeno morph with a full hex build and the add on that makes people scream on tail hit is so nasty, IDK how people havnt caught onto it.

But what would be the pricing for it be? 1755 auric cells again or 1080? 🤔

If it's gonna be 1755 auric cells aka 35k shards, then it's gonna suck

I feel like it can't be that hard to code buying the outfit gets you a discount on the others. Or Classify the base as the Character then it unlocks a section for them in the store.

At this point its just lack of trying.

Considering how much we pay to have them I don't think it's a huge ask.

  • Honestly I'd rather just have an option to perma hide it, even when I try to joke with a killer (there was a sound bug I thought was hillarious when being mori'd the game sounded like it was crashing) the killer thought I was coming after them for using a stealth build.

I just think people are used to interactions on this game being negative, so save myself the hassle and gimme the option to perma hide it in settings.

  • Yeah for me its particularly the dirty textures (make it look so ugly) and the really dated animations on survivors especially.

The game is animated worse than some ps2 games at times for survivors.

Haddie's design is just bad, in my opinion. It's overly complex—too many colors, too many details, too much of everything. It makes her really unpleasant to work with. Had they wanted her to do better, I think they should've picked one color for the hair and limited the skin details for the head, while keeping the palette on the clothing down to just 3 colors. Maybe make it a bit more stylish. But as is, I can't blame anyone for not flocking to her.

Yeah I see nearly nobody play her I also want to point out that Haddie players act like she gets nothing yet in the past year or so she is one of the survivors who has recieved the most.

So it's not without trying, she just isn't popular regardless if she gets outfits or not.

    It's so pointless.

Hardly splitting hairs when it's giving context to your statement, if you don't like it that's kind of on you. lol

Just kind of shows how people only cling to the character coz its strong. Nothing else

At this point this thread has gone on a tangent, but i can answer you.

My perk choices are probably not going to be that much different than what other people play for the most part. But i do tend to play more of a macro style play instead of focusing on chases. I frequently drop chase and switch targets as much as possible to create confusion and distractions. I usually do take perks that help me do this.

I play a ton of different builds honestly depending on what killer i'm playing, but i have a few "generics" that tend to work with most killers, and then i can give you what i would say is the "best" build for the killers i mainly play. For my generic builds right now i generally do something like:

    Gen Defense:

    • Gen Regression
    • Gen regression
    • Flex
    • Surveilance

The 2 gen regression perks depend on what type of killer it is. Usually 1 of them is pain resonance. The 2nd one i'll take surge if its a killer that downs mostly with their m1, and if t hey are an m2 killer, i'll take Turn back the Clock. For the flex perk, it depends usually on the killer, but it's usually some kind of chase perk. So for example for leatherface i'd take bamboozle or for a setup killer i'd take corrupt intervention.

Surveilance is a great perk and i don't know why more people don't take it. When coupled with pain resonance, it gives you information about where the survivors are, and once you see a gen pop up in yellow you KNOW someone is there repairing it. Additionally the extra range on repair sounds REALLY helps more than you think it does.

    Aura Reading:

    • Pain Resonance
    • Pop goes the weasel
    • Nowhere to Hide
    • Lethal Pursuer

This is my standard build that i will use on a killer right when they are released. I have a rule for killers on release that i will exclusively play them until i hit prestige 10. I'll play the first 5 prestiges with no addons so i can get a feel for the killer's base power. Then i'll play 3 more prestiges with the basic "cheap" addons to get a feel for what i'll always have available. After that i play with what i think would be the best addon combinations until i find one that works and then i know which addons are the ones to take based on everything. This is actually why my houndmaster kill rate is so low, my recent 30 days kill rate for her is about the same as other killers (actually its 100% lol, but i think i only played maybe 5ish games with her?), but she was super bugged on release and would often just not have a power for most of the game.

    High Mobility kllers:

    • Ruin
    • Thrill of the Hunt
    • Turn back the Clock
    • Surveilance

This is my go-to standard for very high mobility killers like blight and ghoul. You can run around the whole map and interrupt multiple gens. Surveilance and ruin synergize quite nicely, and once ruin is cleaned you can lean back onto turn back the clock. Thrill makes it so it takes much longer to cleanse the totems, and on high mobility killers i can often spare a second or 2 to check on my totems once in a while which makes it so i can protect them a little bit more.

For my killer mains, i would say my mains right now tend to be, in order:

    • Nurse
    • Pinhead
    • Pig
    • Sadako

The only reason my nemesis play rate is so high was because i had literally like 1000+ cakes on him and played him a bunch to get BP for a while. Similarly with other killers like Legion where they are just so efficient at farming bloodpoints.

For my "best" build for each of those killers i tend to run:

    Nurse:

    • Nowhere to hide
    • Floods of rage
    • Jagged Compass
    • Pain Resonance

    Addons: Heavy Panting, Fragile Wheeze

This gives her the aura reading she needs to defend gens, and once you get your first down you can basically snowball into down after down, with Jagged Compass early on i don't try to push for scourge hooks unless they are close, i'll hook in more central areas and create scourge hooks for later since floods of rage always works right off hook with jagged compass.

I'm currently experimenting with different addons right now to see how the nerf to heavy panting will affect her. Unclear if its still her best addon after the nerfs so just trying different things out. Right now i'm leaning toward 3 blink nurse, (Torn bookmark, Fragile Wheeze) but when patch day his i'll give the nerfed addon a hard try to see if its still worth.

    Pinhead:

Right now i'm just using the generic build above:

    • Pain Resonance
    • Pop goes the Weasel
    • Nowhere to Hide
    • Lethal Pursuer

Addons: Greasy Black Lens, Impaling Wire

Lethal is so good for pinhead, once you see where you spawn and where the survivors spawn and get some time and practice with him, you should be able to know where the box spawns almost 100% of the time at the start of the match and immediately go for it. A handful of times you'll spawn in such a way that its a 50/50. but its pretty rare that will happen.

    Pig:

    • Pain Resonance
    • Turn back the clocks
    • Surveilance
    • Whispers

    Addons: Workshop Grease, Last Will

Whispers is the wild card here for most, but i think its pig's best perk. She has a 24 meter terror radius and whispers distance is 32 meters. This means you can run around, and as soon as whispers goes off you can crouch and they still won't know you are coming. This gives you a ton of flexibility at locating survivors and still being able to sneak up on them while minimizing the time spent crouching. Its a weird perk at times but it being so baseline back in the old days (when you would take ruin to slow the game down just a little bit) i learned how to use it. These days its less good as a perk simply because maps are generally smaller now so its easier to locate people.

The main thing with pig though, is people tend to start out thinking you should try to kill people with head traps. Which works sometimes but is the wrong idea. The head traps create an alternate objective that the survivors MUST complete, or they just die. So the key is to actually ignore the people with head traps because you are going to get 12 box searches per game, and each box search running to and from the box and the search, is about 30 seconds. So she has built in around 300-360 seconds of just pure "gen defense" in the form of forcing the survivors to not do gens.

That's not to say you completely ignore them, sometimes a chase runs you near someone doing a box, at that point, sure, go for the down maybe even the hook if its worth it, but don't go out of your way to chase anyone with a trap. Often times i'll drop chase on someone with a trap if i see someone without a trap.

    Sadako:

    • Corrupt Intervention
    • Deadlock
    • Face the Darkness
    • Lethal Pursuer

    Addons: Videotape copy, Bloody Fingernails

With sadako there isn't much to say other than i go for a style that onepumpwillie does. Teleport around, control, the tvs, and basically never hook (unless i'm doing it to destroy a tape they are holding) I honestly don't do anything special or unique here so there isn't much to say other than, go watch onepumpwillie. My sadako hook rate is super low, like 5.7 because i almost never hook with her except to destroy tapes (or when the match is "over")

    Some general notes:

    • I think lethal pursuer is the best killer perk there is. It lets immediately start a chase, and if you have good macro sense, you can know where the other survivors are going to be after that first chase. There is no better gen defense, then a survivor on the hook. I know i say that and don't run it on every killer, but i would just say "do as i say, not as i do".
    • Focus on macro play, try to know what and where every other survivor is even while you are chasing. Good teams will run you away from their teammates, remember which gens were being worked on and where and how far they are. Keep a running clock in your mind to about how much progress that gen would have if it was being worked on during your chase
    • If the survivor drops a god pallet, break it, and then drop chase and go somewhere else. A pallet break adds at minimum 20-25 seconds to a chase (depending on the killer you are playing). You can't afford to have 3 survivors working gens for 20-25 seconds.
    • If the survivor drops a mindgamable pallet, give it 2 tries to mindgame. And pick a mindgame and do the same one both times. Then, if it doesn't work, break the pallet, and drop chase. Then next time you chase that survivor, they will be conditioned to think you will do that mindgame, but now you do a different one. This will throw them off and usually land you a hit.
    • Pay attention to how each survivor is playing and how they react to different mindgames and strategies.
      • Do they tend to just run to the next loop? Then bait them to by crouching with pig for example, and then immediately uncrouching to chase them.
      • Do they tend to predrop the pallet? Chase them into it and then back up slightly and go around to try and hit them as they are recoving from the drop animation.
      • Do they just shift+w to a corner? Sometimes you can just force them to do that and then drop chase to somewhere better making them waste time running back to the gen.
    • Pay attention to which pallets you break, and what tiles are available to survivors as you chase them.
    • Pay attention to where survivors run when chasing them, especially after you hit them. If you see them immediately run to say, a shack that has a jungle gym nearby, don't even bother, just drop chase and go after someone else. You are going to waste too much time chasing them. Yes, you can outplay them at these tiles, but its often not worth the effort because its going to take too much time. And even if you can get them to drop the pallet and break it, it still costs more time than it is worth
    • If you think the survivor is going to drop the pallet and you can, just go for it, and don't swing into the pallet, just tap m1. The way a lunge works is you increase your movement speed to 6.9 m/s for 0.9 seconds. For the first 0.5 seconds, you are not swinging at them or able to hit them it doesn't happen until the end of that lunge. So if you think they are about to drop the pallet, and you just tap m1, your m1 comes out on basically frame 0 (in fighting game world, this means literally instantly). Oftentimes you can still hit them even if they stun you with the pallet. On their end it'll look like they got robbed, but in reality, you used the fact that your attack is instant to hit them faster than they would expect.
    • Pay attention to what survivors do after they are unhooked. If you seem them get healed right away, that means they are healing under hook. Punish that if they want to heal under hook, hover near that area a bit and beeline back to the hook to interrupt them. If you see them take a little bit longer to heal, you know you have some time and they are spending time running somewhere safer now. Don't let them just unhook and heal for free if they aren't going to spend time getting to safety first.
    • You'll see above and in general i claim myself as a nurse main. Nurse follows almost none of these rules and has her own set of things to think about. When playing as or against nurse, you are no longer playing dead by daylight, you are playing "the nurse game" so everything is entirely different.
    • Play both sides, learning how to play survivor well will help you as a killer when you are playing. You'll know what survivors are trying to do.

I do also play survivor probably 30-40% of my games. I don't really think i'm as good at survivor as i am on killer, but i still tend to do better than the average. I also almost exclusively play solo queue (i have 1 friend that i occasionally play 2v8 as killer with but that's mostly for us to hang out, drink and goof around in voice coms)

If you do want to know anything else though feel free to ask me, or dm me, i'm not going to try and keep anything a secret (i just might not be thinking of it right now). There's nothing i'm doing that is really all that special that makes me "like way better" than anyone else. Personally if anything i think the only secret sauce i do have is my focus on macro play and my willingness to drop chase. When playing as survivor i see killers focus on chasing the same survivor way to long and that often leads to them losing. If you can't land a hit within 10-15 seconds of a chase starting, you should drop it and go somewhere else.

Thank you for taking your time to answer, it's a lot to digest but I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this, I'll spend some time reading it and digesting it lol

Hats off to playing so well!

Simple: Ghoul is from a beloved license, his playstyle is fast-paced (Making him fun for the Killer to play as) and once Blight is nerfed, will be the brand new "Favorite Child" of DBD.
The Ghoul is a problem because the sheer amount of effort survivors must enact to counter him is gargantuan compared to the little effort the Ghoul is required to exhert to get results:
    - His power is a free first injury and is on-command with the only obstacle being to Kagune grab an object first.
    - His Power can go over obstacles, through walls, and is not a projectile rather a hitscan so even if the survivor escapes LOS, they will get hit if it registers.
    - Kagune Mark applies a buff to The Ghoul through Enraged that can be extended endlessly and its timer pauses while the ghoul carries survivors for… some reason?
    - Kagune Mark applies Deep Wounds and the timer is permanent until Deep Wound is cured for some godawful reason.
    - The Ghoul can vault, lob himself and slide in front of Survivors, cutting off escape routes, with a VERY short cooldown.
    - The Ghoul has very tiny cool-downs and can literally cancel his power mid jump unlike Mastermind and is granted a very very short fatigue making it inconsequential for him to do so.

I've made several posts on Skull Merchant's mishandlings but the shorthand:
Skull Merchant has been brow-beaten and kneecapped again and again because Survivors threw temper tantrums over not being able to play against her the same way they do other M1 killers because her power directly turned Droned Locations into Danger Zones (However, you could still loop her, it just meant you had to be smart about not greeding and your teammate shad to pay attention as well). Obviously, there was a huge issue with three genning, but Skull Merchant didn't invent that, and any Killer could in fact create a three gen, it's just her power made the location excessively "dangerous" to remain in. However, she could only be in one place at a time, and COULD be defeated but it required a lot of cooperation that solo q just plain lacked (And gens had no kick limit at the time).
    Other factors:
    - The disappointment of her not aligning with expectations (Everyone assumed a robot or terminator-type Killer and took personal insult to her being designed to be instead a more 'Rich Thrill-Seeking Killer).
    - The fact her playstyle is trap-based so instead more methodical and strategic as opposed to a Killer like Blight, Nurse or Huntress who chase and either throw themself or their power at you. This combined with her various afflictions her Drones cause make her mechanically difficult for newer players to understand.

I'd hardly call it beloved, it's dead for a reason lol

Most the people clinging to the character were way too young to be around for it when it was current and the general consensus is the anime was awful with season 2.

Like it's literally just because its anime and its easy to play lmao

  • Yeah it would be lovely addition honestly.

  • What in the reshade is that saturation LOL

Also I feel that applies to a lot of killers, more recolours are always fun

Thats the thing, I don't think they would need to make any new animations for him. They made every survivor tiny for my little oni without needing to make new animations. So they should be able to just scale him down the size of most female survivors, set him to use the male survivor animations for walking/running etc, at for any interactions that might not line up with his height reduced they could use the female survivor animations for those. It would probably take one person at BHVR no more than 20 minutes to fix his height.

Fair enough but also I dont see with the lower quality of their animations for survivor why they can't actually put effort into some new animation sets for them.

Also there has been so many bugs recently with survivor animations, Claire Redfields finger becomes like a claw when she points rn and also her hand is crooked in the lobby

never said I can not face these people. I'm saying it's ######### boring to face especially if you run into it multiple times in a row. Genuinely if you're queuing in just to be a dickhead maybe you shouldn't be playing the game. Also I pointed out that it's a problem for solo survivors in question as well because what I see fairly often is if they don't take first chase and die is they'll genuinely let me or the other rando if it's only a two stack die and for what? Like I said some people are just queing in to be dickheads and just waste other people's time and I don't think that that should be easy to do because the survivor role is a TEAM role. Bhvr should do things that encourage playing as a team that isn't uselessly (or needlessly) following the killer around.

I didn't say it but I did say it, is what I'm reading here

No one is being rude by playing aggressive, you are the one expecting a linear trial by flowchart, doesn't that make you in turn boring?

If you want to play against AI, there is custom games.

  • I'm really enjoying how deadly they are this rework, I just needed some practice.

I adore furitive chase friends til the end on them for movement speed getting from target to target and turn back the clock to compliment their lack of mobility, bamboozle for shack shut down etc.

They are a lot stronger just need good builds that compliment them I feel.

  • I don't care if you all don't like survivors who want to fight back, but we don't need this playstyle changed. I swear everyone just wants to play PvE these days lol

As for "New player experience" how do you know these survivors are at low MMR on purpose? Can you see it? No.

    Skill. Issue.

That's literally what this entire post is about. I feel at this point like you popped in just to argue for argument's sake…

Not really, I'm just pointing out a flaw in your logic, this won't solve your issue at all. Just admit that, you came in here to complain about a perk you don't like.

The whole crow system would need reworked to account for your method of dealing with the perk, what I'm saying, is why complain when you can come up with another method and adapt?

How about you give me a reason they shouldn't reinstate Head On deactivation via AFK Crows? What was wrong with that condition?

I never said they shouldn't, I said it wouldn't solve your issue. If you are aware of the new system:

    image.png

You'd be waiting a while in your scenario. So yes reinstate them, but if you're sat camping the locker you're going to accumulate crows slowly anyways.

What pressure is there when everyone is dead or gone and the door is open. This isnt about general gameplay loop.

You mentioned the gate, so I was baring in mind there might be another survivor, if its the 1v1, even more reason not to bait it out. you killed the other 3 so what frustration is there to losing 1 survivor if you're not good at baiting it. Use the opportunnity to try new movement patterns

I can understand where hes coming from tho with a free run to the door. Like if theres a locker by the door thats opened, and they make it to the locker with enough time to charge headon, theres nothing you can do except "try" to make them mistime the stun. Because now you can't wait for it in such a situation where if they stun you, they get enough distance to win.

But the crows won't change that, you just gave survivors loads of free pressure by waiting. Also there is the chance they were still exhausted and you let them regain it by waiting.

It's all a mind game in itself, you miss all the shots you don't take is all I'm saying.

The whole community isnt all for blight nerfs there are people that create some part that dissagrees with any or current blight nerfs.

Last time the community wanted killer nerfed we got skullmerchant in f-tier which isnt good thing either.

For me current blight nerfs are ok and if there will be some second than they should look at addons not his power which will be acceptable with these changes that come.

Blight would need to take way more harsher nerfs to be worse than ghoul so I get your optimism here thinking it will happen but I dont think it will blight got smallest nerfs compare to all killers especialy strongest ones in history and there was huge part of community that wasnt happy about these nerfs even with fact he stayed s-tier and even when being weaker he still is considered by top players better than nurse.

Nurse cant be nerfed much more she is desinged all about having best power due to her slow speed so its more for rework the killer than hard nerf her.

I think anyone who isn't speaking with spite rn toward the killer will agree they don't want him Skull Merchant treatmented (most people who say this are just really really sick of them, so like you have to take said opinions with a pinch of salt).

Me personally I just want them to be more fun to face, so like as I said the animation lock surrounding the first bite coming from a range and over rocks just feels terrible to go against. To have that much mobility is one thing, but I feel if you do with that short a CD (I don't want the CD nerfed) maybe the first bite is how to make them feel better. Not necessarily lose it just make it so he has to land near and cant do it over pallets or obstacles or from across the loop.

That way it rewards skillful play with his mobility, and feels better on the survivor side.

I'm not necessarily talking about all four in lockers, I'm thinking about things like abusing the lack of deactivation to get a free run at the hatch or a gate or some other resource. And that's the thing, it's too easily abused in a lot of different scenarios. There is literally no good reason to not just reinstate Head On deactivation via AFK Crows.

    "Free run at the hatch"

Go for the hatch yourself, they can't be in a locker and look for hatch at the same time, or the gate.

It's not "Abused" it goes on CD for at worst 24ish seconds with vigil if they arent moving. So just eat the stun they aren't going to run far that far in the basement.

It's honestly not that big a deal, sure the crows can come back but even then you'd have the same issue you'd just wait out an eternity still for the same result. People like you are the ones who fall for deception and stand at the locker staring at it, remember its 5 seconds and lockers are really laggy atm take like 1 and a half seconds to come in and out right now.

I wasnt complaining at all lol. And the time id wait is if its the last person standing, otherwise ive won against my fair share of bullies. I was talking about something i spectated, not my own experience.

    I didn't say you I said OP

  • @ShanoaLegendaryPlz said:

I also spectated the last survivor in a match today, and the killer chased them to a locker. They didnt have head on, but the killer oddly decided to just stand there infront of the locker, and the survivor waited, looking around. For over 10 minutes no birds or anything happened, they just stayed there staring at eachother till the killer finally pushed the button to pull them out. Either it was a crows bug or they also made it so the last survivor alive can't aquire afk birds.

But yea i also used to jist wait for birds to counter headon but it kinda sucks that the way it currently is, the survivor gets a free stun no matter what, unless baited out of the locker.

You're playing into Head On if you wait, just go for it, its only a 3s stun which isn't anything to a killer with range, mobility or is 115.

Also toward OP if you've got all 4 survivors in lockers they arent doing gens as quick, considering you sacrificed 3 of them, what's the deal. Seems like a nothing burger complaint lol

  • That is not working as intended, if the intention is being misleading with what you are selling, sure. that's telling us they don't want to make new animation sets for different types of survivors.

    Which needs to change honestly.

I'm not sure about a huge nerf, but when you are looping and he bites you with a large rock in between.…its ridiculous.

Yeah as I mentioned earlier the first bite interaction is by far the most frustrating even with the changes. Between the animation lock and the range.

  • Ricochet blades makes them pretty gross on their own map though tbf

  • You are not trying to imply Kate's gold outfit is good are you, that's probably one of her worst looks, bar the hair. I use it in troll outfits

They have done a lot of things, I agree a few more things can be changed to make him even more fair but some of the changes you're suggesting will just make him awful.

Here are my suggested changes, tell me if you agree.

-Remove the vault, or at least nerf it and it no longer triggers perks like dissolution.

-Make the bite range = lunge range, both survivor and killer can move during this animation at a low speed.

-Rework centipede and yamaori (I think?) mask entirely.

-Brutal strength removes an extra charge of the power (don't think they would ever add specific changes like this, but it would be nice)

No nerfs for bodyblocking gameplay, it's the highest skill expression for the killer and it has clear counterplay. I have no problems with a few more nerfs if they don't affect this playstyle.

If you want to make him 4.4, you would need to make his CD a lot shorter so that he can use his power on every loop, like blight. It might be fun tbh, but it's another can of worms. It would give him even more mobility.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OJIMNRYJN28F/1000014439.gif

for me I feel like my main gripe is around the first hit, like how far he can pull himself to you and then you have to deal with that crap animation lock, if it was he had to land right by you and then "grab" I feel it would feel better, not this latch onto a nearby wall and grab from across the loop.

Like wesker where he has to dash onto you to hurt you then it'd be okay. Though even with the changes how awful the first "hit" feels, if it was like he has his mobility but needs to be close to get both hits I'd not care as much.

like the first hit into dissolution and blood favor etc is what makes it such an eyeroll to face.

  • this would be wonderful! I love this idea

  • @Snazzy said:

    Yeah I agree.

It honestly doesn’t make sense at this point. The Blight gets toned down because he’s too strong, but The Ghoul just gets ignored when people have been complaining about him for ages.

He already has strong chase and pressure, so keeping him at 4.6 just feels like overkill. Dropping him to 4.4 is not some extreme nerf, it’s the bare minimum to make him feel fair.

And the worst part is the feedback is clearly there, it’s just not being acknowledged. For solo queue especially, it just feels like you’re expected to deal with it while nothing changes.

It's acknowledged, we get official responses but its always telling us they arent doing anything YET, yet are aware, so it's like all the more frustrating because it feels like another wait years before this is dealt with.

  • It needs elevations for perks to work of, that's my largest issue

  • Yeah I hate this map lol it's like so uninspired, the Nostromo part is cool af but the rest of the map is god awful

Unless you have her speaking english on your game, the japanese voice is supposedly the original.

And i really liked her character design, the dual personality, and the fact that she was strong and crazy enough that everyone in the show talked about her like they were somewhat affraid of her. Even if it was just 1 episode she immediately became my favorite of the show and then it kinda sucked that she wasnt in it much. Kinda like how my favorite in attack on titan is annie, almost the same deal only she got a whole season lol

So it turns out its a mix of both, I did more looking into it, the VA listed here does the screams and grunts

Circle just needs one change: if you have circle of healing equipped, you can self care in any circle of healing boon.

Fixes the "one perk for the whole team" complaint, while making the perk actually usable in about 80% of scenarios again. If you want an entire team to self care in the boon, it takes 4 perk slots. That's more than fair.

Yeah like boon illumination "while active unlock the ability to heal yourself"

I can't wait for Halloween to come out.

It gives me another game to put energy into without seeing the same ol' tribalism comments over and over again.

What will you say when another patch comes out when killers get to feast? You are aware that Behavior balances around both sides, not just one specific role? If Behavior didn't care for "killers" MFT would never have been nerfed.

Dead Hard wouldn't have been nerfed to two uses (only exhaustion perk with a given limitation) as you can use other exhaustion perks more than twice, but 🥱.

I still don't think DH for distance would break the game anymore with current map design/power design Dramaturgy has proven that lol

Yeah, so let's reveal aura to survivors outside of your party.

Then the buff helps only soloQ, your primary group, and bully squads need to learn their comms.

I don't think they'd ever do a case by case basis.

I just think giving it a QoL won't break the game lol with a second perk or otherwise.

I like your idea though regardless

IMO no Boon is worth the time to set it up. The only Boon which was worth the time was CoH and this was already not good enough before they removed the Self-Healing aspect of the Perk (basically it was the best and most healthy right before they removed self-healing, before someone wants to act as if I said that Release-CoH was fine).

No I know what you mean, I feel maybe it would be fine now with the diminishing returns to add the self heal back tbh, that way people can't add their own speeds to it without it getting out of hand

And your opinion is fine that you don't like them, but try bringing a map and blessing, it cuts down the time a lot, sure spending the whole match blessing over and over when it gets snuffed isn't viable, but flow state has changed the game for blessing between gens. Just because it doesnt work for you doesn't mean it don't work for others.

I love making new safe zones with shadowstep or the like for working on a new gen, plus the killer having to snuff it can buy time for others.

when I communicate with friends its easy to tell them what locker it is lol

Yeah, no. It's quite normal to fail at this, I have seen even comp players to have miss communication here.
It's not easy (depends on the map), but you need exactly 0 brain cells when you see yellow aura.

Like sure, if they start to create a difference and show it only to people outside of your group, I would be fine with it, so it's actually aimed at soloQ.

Did you just ignore the other suggestion I made which was:

"or even maybe some kind of tell that's not an aura (glowing) for survivors could go a long way."

Because you aren't really helping. You can talk about about SWF all you like, there is nothing not even a complimenting perk which tells solo Q survivors what locker you are in

I find i feel similar when "trying" to play as ghoul. I'm a big fan of Rize from the anime and of that entire show shes the only character i could've wanted, and got real lucky to have her included along with her original voice actress.

But the playstyle is so bad that its too easy to use, and the community of course hates them with a passion unlike anything since 3 gen merchant. So everytime i do try to play as Rize its like im the 10th ghoul theyve seen, and they either always give up, or barely try. Like id want to test just how tough it is to lose against people trying against her so that you don't feel hated or too overpowered, but it never happens lol. And they will never change the ghoul to a more tolerable state.

I thought she was in for like barely an episode then shows up as basically "apart of" Kaneki, fair enough if you read the manga coz she is actually alive in that.

I'm also p.sure the voice of her is not her actual VA lol

    image.png

    It's off topic but lol

First of all, another Boon-Perk is not needed. This is just more Junk. Boon-Perks are bad and every new Boon-Perk released will not give any value at all for Survivors. They are a failed concept and it is bad enough that we will get one with the Community Chapter. But more are not needed, especially not with such a niche effect like you proposing.

Second, Boil Over should be reworked if anything. The Perk is pointless 99% of the time and only annoying in very specific Builds (even tho I dont even know if those are actually possible anymore since Map Offerings got nerfed). It is not even good in said Builds, just annoying. And a Perk like this should just get a completely new effect.

I don't really agree with this, I like boons a lot and do get value from them. Maybe less so with the dminishing returns though

They aren't a failed concept, shadow step especially is slept on and using it with flow state I can get boons up faster and faster throughout the match.

They do need some love but they are far from useless.

  • @PetTheDoggo said:

Last Stand as exhaustion would be obnoxious as hell, especially with Finesse.

    Head on

Hell no, I never want to see headon get anywhere close to meta. That would be definetly bleed out material.
It wouldn't be soloQ perk, it would just become brainless easy SWF perk.

That's just wrong, when I communicate with friends its easy to tell them what locker it is lol

The aura just makes it a tell or even maybe some kind of tell that's not an aura (glowing) for survivors could go a long way.

As I said they are just ideas, not solutions

Better come up with ideas than be like omg no.

Well there are people who have fun against him, most of my matches I have no issues, so, you just want him nerfed because you personally don't have fun?

Who are you even talking to, to tell you they have fun. Were you even watching the community stream? LOL yes a lot of people cling to ghoul like yourself, but lots despise them too, saying one side doesnt exist because of one person is ignorance.

You play against a dissolution or blood favor ghoul over and over, tell me its fun.

I think it would be cool if BHVR made Emotes for killers. For the ones who had voicelines they could say something during the emote.

Wesker Lowers his sunglasses "I don't even need 7 minutes to finish you off"

Houndmaster struts slowly "Quit your running ya filthy rat"

So forth and so on. A lot of games have these. Not sure why we dont.

Yeah honestly Wesker being cocky to me would kill me if he downed me emoted me and then someone hit the pallet over his head interupting him, but it would also be funny if I just was destroyed and he emoted

people do that with the goofy ass nod anyways
