Say that to nurse with 500h I lost against as a 4-man swf with 32k hours combined yesterday. (not possible in different games, btw)

Changes from PTB seem fine and healty. Good work.

A ) hours doesn't mean you are any good
B ) Jason isn't Nurse, actually no killer besides nurse is nurse
Actual good teams can beat nurses without much issue, and she's still stronger than every other killer which get stomped even harder

I will be fully honest. These changes are horrible, Jason was already barely scratching lowest bottom of A tier, and then you further nerfed him. In DBD's 2026 meta where survivors are stronger than even S tiers like Nurse or Blight, Jason needed NOTHING BUT BUFFS.

I still uderstand why there isnt some space requirement for turrets so two cant be placed too close to each other like trappers traps or hags traps but much wider like 14 or 20 meters radius, this would make xeno more bareable with his survivor counterplay in form of turrets.

Like look at vecna he has counter in form of special enchanted magical items but he gets tool for it too (must use one more spell to cancel it for some time) and for strogest ones his hand and eye he gets bonus in for of killing survivor which has it on the ground when they are dead on next hook with shorter mini mori so it gives him faster kill and ds counter. Or singularity his power has counter item but his power is strong so it doesnt cut his power for 15+ seconds very fast and he can power through it compare to xeno.

Xenos antiloop isnt that strong as many people claim especialy after his tail attack time nerf for hit and his stealth isnt that great either especialy when turrets counter it compleatly all the time and his mobility is limited and he gets more tracing from it than actual mobility compare to springtrap who is basicaly xeno but better. Turrets would be more ok if the radius of placing them couldnt be so small but devs kinda are oblivious to things like this same as their 2 seconds buff to ghostface.

funnily enough Vecna is my other main. And the magical items barely provide help (and in fact hand and eye of Vecna turn the Survivor into the easiest tunnel target) so he has FAR stronger power with far lesser counterplay, which in some way still helps him.

while xeno has to deal with flame turrets that completely for free extend every chase

Ever since the thrill of the hunt rework? No not at all, this particular combo is awful for it. You should give it a go, I faced against it and was like how do I even deal with this.

Yes even with thrill of the hunt. Heyexes are simply an outdated concept. Best used as 1 slot where survviorivors still have other guaranteed perks to deal wotith , rather than you relying on RNG

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

Xeno morph with a full hex build and the add on that makes people scream on tail hit is so nasty, IDK how people havnt caught onto it.

i mean mainly because hexes are kinda garbage and almost exclusively work on already bad surcivorvivors , while good ones will cleanse them in tbhe first minute. And in today's meta you need guaranteed time. Making slowdown the only real choice of perks

Out of all the horror franchises, Alien is my most favorite one. I P100'd Ellen Ripley and, of course, Xenomorph but I play 90% Survivor and 10% Killer. I was bummed out Ellen Ripley didn't have the face likeness of the real actor but what disappoints me the most is there is nobody playing Xenomorph besides me apparently lol

I can understand why nobody does though. The fact that Xeno isn't a real stealth killer and Xeno's power can be disabled by turrets. Unlike the movies, Xeno has no chance to get close to anybody without the damn turret peeping from miles away with its motion tracker. There is also a chance a tail attack doesn't always register. The nerf to his tail attack also did numbers to him.

I'm unsure how to change Xenomorph without making it overpowered or underpowered. His power is burdensome to balance due to the turrets and whatnot.

Adding undetectable outside the tunnels wouldn't make any difference due to the motion tracker from turrets. Making his tail faster but turrets stronger would make or break his power. Adding additional gamemode stuff like Facehuggers is funny but strange since it would instantly kill survivors.

Do you, perhaps, have a good idea for Xenomorph?

    P100 Xenomorph Main here

At this moment, Xeno is a Low B, honestly maybe high C tier killer. Primarily due to the strength of the fire turrets, which is completely unreasonable considering how little the power has to offer- If Xeno in her current state had the turrets completely removed, she wouldn't even become a top 10 killer, probably not even top 15.

And so i think that is kinda what should happen, the "turrets" should be reworked into only Motion Sensors to give the survivors a warnigng when Xeno is in a nearby tunnel. (As they do now)

Now for the Crawler and Default mode.

crawler mode should keep it's tail attack (windup could get a slight buff from 0.3 seconds back to 0.25, but keep current cooldowns) + possibly receive a tiny speed increase while in crawler mode (4.7 / 4.8)

while the default two legged mode could be turned into a stealth tool, but this isn't a must have.

Honesrltly im against the idea of Facehuggers being inteoeuceroduced at all. Thematically the single lonely Xeno trapped in tbhe realm works better

Seems to be a you issue in every regard. Escpecially if you think the game is survivor sided after last years of patches.

last year (actually last two years) were all surv buffs and killer nerfs

I can assure you, that you don't wait this long - At least not if you don't have the mmr bracked with the least people i guess. I wait maybe a few minutes and that's all.

Oh ######### off, don't tell me how i am experiencing the game.

Ofc the queue times depend on the specific event there is, with chaos shuffle / current anniversary etc event queues being 10-30 minutes, and 2v8 queues being 50-100+ minutes

What region are you in that you waiting 15 to 100mins+…

swf can have an action speed nerf that's increased the more survivors that are in a group

While that would be hilarious, the basic issues of the game come down to the actual balance between survivors and killers. All survivors have access to the same strong things SWFs get, if it's problematic with one, it's problematic with both, only difference is that normal survivors don't realize just how strong they are

  • @ad19970 said:

I definitely disagree that the entire killer roster exceot those that you mentioned need to be buffed. Vecna was just buffed and is now in a pretty much perfect spot. Killers like Wesker, Oni, Twins, Huntress or Artist do not need any buffs either.

Also gen regression perks are still pretty strong, I don't think they need any buffs. If anything, basekit objective times of survivors could be looked at, but only once the anti-camping and anti-tunneling changes have been implemented.

I do kinda agree, oni, vecna , plague , artist and Singu are all killers i'd say are overall im a good spot, but not quite perfect. Artist and Plague have been bugged for years, BHVR struggling to figure out what to do with Oni flicks etc are still things that need improving, and so these killers would still get "buffed"

But even then, thats the S tier and like half of A tier, majority of killers are massively below this in terms of strenght

  • The issue is that on EU servers, everyone plays far more sweaty than on NA

+ You are likely in lower mmr to begin with so you likely have no idea what even non sweaty high mmr is like

  • @leviivel said:

no hate but the game is genuinely in a very balanced state, the issues comes from unsolvable things like SWF's with full voice comm which is always gonna be strong, weaker killers DEFINITELY need buffs cause they're way behind and there's god awful maps that could use changes or shrinkage (cough cough greenville). But otherwise the game is MOSTLY fine right now, there's no boring braindead slop meta like with CoB + Overcharge meta or old Circle of Healing.

There actually is a new braindead meta, just using exhaustion and second chances.

A single use of an Exhaustion perk means the killer loses too much time on chasing you (in order to win by spreading hooks, mathematically the killer would need to finish every chase in under 15 seconds, a single use of an exhaustion perk should buy free 20+ seconds on top of the actual chase.

Which means the killer needs to tunnel, but that is no longer possible because every single match the survivors use STB and 4x DS

So you cannot spread hooks, you cannot tunnel, you cannot slug as that gets countered by just picking up the survivor and doesn't give any permanent pressure. All you can do as killer is pretend you are playing a comp match and play for stages even if you get 3 or 4 outed

That’s a fair point… but it goes both ways. Survivor streak players would also tell you that their runs rely heavily on not being matched into a competent killer… or at the very least, one who knows how to pressure properly and isn’t running Nurse, Blight, or Wesker with lethal builds.

So if both sides claim their streaks "only happen when the other side is weak," that essentially neutralizes the argument. What remains is consistency… and the data.

And this is where the numbers speak clearly:

    • High killer streaks across multiple players, roles, and metas
    • 4-man survivor streaks remain extremely rare even at the top competitive level
    • Even BHVR’s own kill-rate analytics reflect this pattern (and they don’t ignore their data, as we’ve seen with prior changes and perk reworks)

You're absolutely right that streaks aren’t perfect proof → luck plays a role, as it always does in asymmetrical games.
But in the long run, consistency beats anecdotes. And consistent long-term dominance in streaks and performance data is why BHVR historically balances around killer restraint, not survivor nerfs.

It’s important that feedback comes from a place of realism… because if expectations are misaligned with the stats, we risk being disappointed when changes don’t go the way we hoped.

My issue is that the way the game is designed rn, in high mmr as killer you need to be playing one of th S tiers to stand a chance

  • Notice how these crazy high streaks were usually all set years ago when the killer role was far stronger, additionally if you actually talked to anybody who has a world record streak, you'd find out most of it is luck

  • @Senaxu said:

While I understand the sentiment behind the concern that survivors feel overpowered in high MMR, I’d like to offer a data-based reflection that may help ground the discussion in verifiable context.

Let’s take win streaks as an empirical benchmark. When you examine public records and competitive showcases, the difference becomes quite striking:

Hens and co. currently hold one of the highest documented 4-man survivor win streaks with 171 consecutive escapes… a remarkable feat, but still an exception, not the rule.

Now let’s look at killers across different types:

    • Blight (Jikkaaa) – 300+ win streak (source: YouTube/documented challenge runs)
    • Wesker (Otzdarva) – 200+ wins
    • Knight (PainReliever) – 250 wins
    • Xenomorph (Var0) – 180+ wins
    • Doctor (Not Otzdarva) – 200+ wins

And these are not cherry-picked “God-tier” killers – they span all balance levels from A to C-tier. So what does this show?

➤ Survivors rely on team cohesion and coordination, which is incredibly hard to maintain consistently in solo or even duo queue.

➤ Killers, by nature of being a single-player role, have full control over their pacing, pressure, and snowball potential.

➤ Even with strong survivor perks and endurance-based loops, killers dominate long-term consistency.

Yes, survivors may feel oppressive in some high-MMR lobbies. But raw data from streaks, tournaments, and kill-rate tracking paints a different picture: it’s the killer role that has historically proven far more consistent at high-level play.
The discussion shouldn’t boil down to “buff killer / nerf survivor,” but rather:
☑ How can balance improve without flattening the skill ceiling of either side?
☑ How can we introduce counterplay that rewards teamwork without punishing solo play?
☑ And most importantly: how can we make both sides feel powerful, while keeping long-term statistics in check?

Let’s aim for balance through data… not anecdote.

Actual streak players will tell you that they rely on getting bad survivors and getting lucky, all streaks end pretty much the second they get a single team that is ready to sweat as much as the killer is.

Maybes you don’t deserve to be in that mmr bracket that you’re in then this is not hate because your argument wasn’t as brainrot and stupid as the 2 minute gens and 45 second heals but also you gotta think you’re not going against 4 man swfs every game by no means should you be getting outed by solo queue players on anything above a D tier killer so if you’re struggling that much it’s down to you not the state of the games balance

Source trust me bro, the thing is that you don't even need a SWF to win, you just need basic gen efficiency, you do gens= you win 99% of the time

This only shows your lack of skill and knowledge about the game, hell. Why do you think actual comp matches have restrictions on what survivors can use ? Are all comp killers garbage since they cannot deal with it ? And even with survivors not being allowed to use their strongest perks or items, and the killer usually getting a map that favors them, they basically never actually win, they usually get a tie or play for stages

sorry but this is just a self report at being bad at the game and none of these changes are wanted or will ever happen survivors perks are mainly balanced theses days same with items kill rates are where they should have you ever thought maybes you need to just improve at the game other than wanting everything nerfed ? Maybes just maybes everything isn’t busted and you just aren’t as good as you think you are just a though tho

,,You just need to get better" or maybe i actually am going against good survivors and get to see how the game actually is.

There is a limit to what you can do as killer, and the little the role can do is constantly being nerfed over the last several years, basically every single update since Singularity has nerfed killers in some way.

the problem is that the game is brokewn sign 2021. The just make the game wrecked….collision wrecked, KIller Play wrecked. Show me my mmr please and dont see me that ihave no survs over 5000 hrs. Please make the game reset and pending backward with your incredible fixes… NHVR just saying they fix collision for wesker and billy or bubba i mean…but why an huntress can use this fixes too? nonono…..i do not wonder why all killers make pressure by no gen left….this are the shittest matches ever……..please fix this #########

Literally today played against an actual comp team as my Xeno (a middle B tier killer at most) and got Toba, and it was just hopeless, i managed to get good downs but it didn't matter because of all the exhaustion and endurance they had and gens being so fast. I WANT to just play the killers i paid for, DbD is nothing without it's licenses, yet playing them is becoming impossible as only killers viable in high MMR are nurse , blight and billy running 4 slowdown / regression, and even then it's not guaranteed win, it's just playing on an equal field with the survivors (while needing far more skill and effort to use)

  • While that is true, it's also not a good idea

Both Evil Dead and Killer Klowns had games that became so Survivor sided that the killer players just quit and the games died, DbD is on that path rn, and honestly only getting carried by licenses
