that is indeed a good idea but like all good killer ideas, behavior ignores them in favor of survivors. Like why cant i smack survivors on the jook anymore yet they can still tbag and spam their flashlight in my face in the exit gates? The devs cater to the toxicity towards killers. Theres no reason flashlight clicking should still be a thing in 2020. It serves no purpose other to annoy the killer
Being unable to hit the hooked survivor actually helps the killer tho?
Since now you wont hit the hooked survivor while trying to hit the unhooker

Bovinity just said it all. Tunneling means nothing. I've seen survivors call le a tunneler even if I was hooking everyone multiple times. Good survivors won't let you just hook everyone 3 times. Good luck to manage 4 good runners during all the game. That's why countering ds and bt is very good.

Tunneling is needed at certain times, yes, but its not the only way to win

Except the definition of "tunneling" is so broad around here that it basically encompasses "chasing anyone that you chased in the past".
I'm sorry, but if I hook someone and some Claudette is in a bush the whole time and unhooks them before I'm even out of sight, I'm punishing the team for that. It's absurd to think that a killer wouldn't. Unless survivors will agree to all get off of gens and look for totems or something when I fail at a chase.
Thats why i said "in certain situations" if the survivors hook bomb then punish them for it
But if you go into a game with the intent to ruin others experience by compeltly camping and tunnling them then i think its bad

Tunneling and camping is fine in certain situations but getting into a game with the intenet to tunnel/camp is bad IMO
You do realise that patrolling gens is the only way to find survivors other then going back to the hook? unless you're using a tracking perk like bbq or thrilling

Killers are never going to play the way you guys want, because the way you guys want is almost a guarantee of a loss against any competent survivors. You're never going to stop doing gens, or going to strong loops, or anything else. But you want killers to constantly just close their eyes and count to 50 whenever you feel like it's "fair" for you to get away and reset or whatever else.

And survivor q times were max 2 minutes before the event, unless i was playing at 5am

Actually it does, because if there's only 2 people left, camping IS a tactic, whether you like it or not. Just means now the cage is useless when it's 2v1. It would be reasonable if NO ONE could see the cage, or they compensated by removing the yellow gen from PH's perk, but, like op said, anything to please the survivor base.

If theres 2 people left then you've basically already won.
And no it wouldn't be "reasonable" if no one could see the cage because that would make ph very op
I really don't understand the communitys obsession with trying to accuse the devs of being bias towards one side, when there obviously trying there best to support both sides

Umm This patch was mainly bug fixes and few changes to pyramid head that dont affect you unless you're a tunnler or camper

Decided I'd add a bit on to tell you how much hours I have put into this game, about 680. That's how long it took me to get all the perks.
I have 603 hours
But some of it is just me being afk in the lobby + i mained survivor for a long time so I didnt get alot of bloodpoints
I should probably stop prestiging characters and actually start gettting teachables
