I loved the bbq meta, the killer always found someone after hooking so there was much less of an incentive to end chase and tunnel.
An excellent analysis my friend.
-
Follow Nike. Just do it ๐
-
I'm not concerned, it has to be better than what we currently have.
-
Seeing BBQ in literally every killer build gets old pretty quick. The old meta to hide in a locker before someone got hooked.

He was my most used character in mortal kombat 1 lol i'm curious if most would prefer T-1000 or T-800 for dbd
Def T-1000

Not sure but the finger thru the skull mori is pretty sick. Poor Dwight.
-
It'll be funny during EGC. 2 survivors escape thru the door, killer is camping.
Last survivor: "Please unhook." ๐ฅน

We lost Pinhead due to the license changing hands. And then the new owner did not renew the contract with dead by daylight. The license is now back in Clive Barker's hands.
Who had the license prior for DBD?

Sorry, my bad. Old franklins gave people an incentive to come back for their item FAST. It created a side objective you usually didn't want to ignore. Current franklins is a light inconvenience at best and you can pick up your item whenever its efficient.
Nonetheless better they go for a stroll for their item than ploping on a gen ๐

I still like Franklin's Demise even after it's 'nerf.' Since it no longer reduces charges survivors will almost always waste time to run back to get it. Whereas if it lost charges they wouldn't bother usually. Plus it's very common to see all 4 survivors at the higher levels bring items.
Sure not a great perk, but still deserves more credit than it gets.

I want to hear about those perks that almost nobody uses but are actually super useful in your experience.
The big one for me as killer is: Spies from the shadows. You very rarely ever see anyone running it. But it's an excellent locator perk when you're tracking down survivors. Literally nobody runs calm spirit and survs very rarely bother (or have the luxury) to avoid scaring crows. The number of times I've used to it catch survs playing stealthy or lurking for saves after a down very high. It's also very hard for survs to sus out, since they have no concrete indicator that crows are catching them out. It gets around distortion and the only perk to counter it is literally never used except by jake adepts.
For surv atm I'd go wih counterforce. Granted it is VERY specific in use, but with the sheer number of killers using hex builds atm it actually really helps. It turns off TOTH builds pretty quickly and combos well with inner strength to allow you to always have a heal in your back pocket to quick recover after taking protection hits.
I also run Spies from the Shadows in most of my builds and can also agree it's really good.

Good question.
-
Do we know when this MMR change is coming? I'm not always up to date with all DBD socials.
-
It might feel that way but not true. Good game sense and perks go a long way. Sure weaker killers will struggle against efficient survivors, it's like that for everybody.
Punish altruism as it's swf's biggest weakness. Some losses are going to be unavoidable no matter what.
-
Singularity sci-fi.
-
I mean 40% is better than nothing. It's a step in the right direction.
-
Whatever happened had nothing to do with tunneling as it's not a bannable offense.
-
I'm fine with Aurora. Though I did vote for the young blue-haired girl. Guilty.
-
I don't think much will change. If your good your still gonna be put against strong opponents regardless of how mmr dictates it.
There will still be a barrier that separates brand new players from everyone else. A system with a new tracking thats not just kills/escapes.
-
NA west here. Always pretty fast queue times at least I've noticed 2-3 mins tops.
-
People will also tend to downvote if you ego trip or glaze yourself. For example if you start a thread with "I'm a Rank 1 both sides" so I know what I'm talking about kind of thing.
-
I think they will get new mori's in the future more than likely. Though with everything happening and upcoming it's just not a high priority compared to other things.
-
I can't really vouche on the toxicity but in regards to you viewing yourself as a bad killer player.
If you 4k/sacrifice the survivors in a match does that mean they are bad survivor players...no
Same thing if survivors finish all the gens or escape does that mean you're a bad killer player? No of course not. Don't be so hard on yourself.
-
At least in the Autohavdn realm most of the maps still aren't too bad except Blood Lodge.
-
That's no coincidence. DBD logo down to the tooth and nail.

Hope so. Only Trapper should have the default chase theme.
-
As a recently picked up Cenobite main, please don't take my box with you when you leave. It's insulting (sarcasm).
-
Singularity is great though if you start to main him you'll realize you get indoor maps way more frequently. Wish it didn't happen but it does.

AI has no thought. Why not just post here and have some real people with vast knowledge help you?
Yes but I get insulted by members on the forums here for some unknown reason...

@100PercentBPMain said:
why would anybody do that? AIs hallucinate and say incorrect things with confidence.
I have my own AI (autistic intelligence) so you could just ask me instead. If I were to hallucinate, at least I'll be flagged with downvotes. Was there a build you wanted feedback on? Or did you have a personal story with AI you'd like to share?
My bad, was just a thought I didn't realize I'd get so much forum hate over a thread idea.

BHVR has confirmed already adding a replay system is not possible and or not feasible. The game would have to be built from the ground up with that feature in mind for it to be added.
It's a nice thought but unfortunately won't be happening.
-
Otzdarva for me.
-
I'm still undecided who is my true main on survivor. I've probably played Renato the longest. For the last while I've been bouncing around a bunch of different ones. Will probably go back to the Lyra sibling.
-
I still can't get over calling them 'quests' in a game like this.
-
I can't speak on anyone else's behalf but I encounter good console players quite frequently.
-
Thanks.
-
Decide which role typically interests you more (playing both is strongly recommended if you wanna get good). Get familiar with how the game works and level up some of the starter survivor blood webs to at least Prestige 1 so you can access specific perks on all characters you own.
Look up some Otzdarva YouTube videos for beginners and new players, he'll teach you way more than any in-game tutorial.
Lastly don't worry about winning or losing. Just play have a good time and you'll improve with experience like everyone else.
-
I only play 1v4 and don't bother with all the other game modes and events. Though I always assumed the show casing was geared towards newer players unfamiliar with map and tile layouts.
-
I don't typically ever get bored playing DBD. Frustrated though? For sure.
