Her power comes from the fact that she has that "mindgame" it also fits lore-wise
IF you want that then make her TR 32m and have her passively appear...JOKING BTW
-
Pig: Sloppy, Corrupt, BBQ, Whispers
Sloppy: slows healing long enough to get a head start on hitting the others
Corrupt: allows me to get close and potentially get a down without losing a gen
BBQ: allows me to decide what I do next (plus BP's)
Whispers: Let's me know someones near by (to bad it still works with a survivor on hook)
-
Pig, Spirit, Hag, Huntress... along with Doc, Legion
-
I know it doesn't count but I solo The Division and Division 2
-
Not me :(
I started playimg when Legion came out but haven't fully dove in till 4-5 months ago
-
Pig main........ and a Feng Min main...
I play about 55/45 killer/survivor
-
Survivor: Kindred, Lithe, We'll make it, Spine Chill (Feng Min)
Killer:
Sloppy, Corrupt, BBQ, Whispers (Pig, Huntress)
Nurse's, Corrupt, BBQ, Whispers (Hag)
STBFL, Corrupt, BBQ, Stridor (Spirit)
The rest I haven't finished getting perks for (or finding the right build for them)
-
An Addon pass... give her addons that increase crouch movement speed, faster TR reduction when crouching
Bring her TR back to 28m
(joke incoming in 3..2...1) Make her RBT's activate at 50% gen repair
-
Honestly I wouldn't even call any perk a "second chance"... just hear me out
Adrenaline: End Game Perk, activates once a match... (old insta-heals are second chance)
Dead Hard: The condition of being injured means you have already gotten hit (or pairing No Mither)... so half the chase is done
DS: Have to hooked in the first place and it's a one time use (so using it after your first hook is only a delay)
Unbreakable: If it's used before your first hook then maybe it's a "second chance" but if not then no
Also in saying those are "second chance" perks then:
Self care: got hit... run to the other side of the map and heal yourself for free
Inner Strength: same as Self Care but go into a locker for 8 seconds... but cleanse a totom before
Deliverance: Free hook escape (also pairs well with DS)... but getting hooked again means struggle stage
Flip-Flop: not being picked up till you've recovered makes it easier to wiggle off (Pairs well with Unbreakable, Tenacity and Boil-Over)
Any more "second chance" perks.... I know there's more
-
It's not up to the devs... it's Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo to allow it
-
I like the first one the most
-
So level with me....
in 100 matches with no perks, items, addons, or moris and hook placement offerings for both survivors and killers
all players are skilled at their roles
what happens?

When I say terror radius I mean her lullaby.
Got ya

Huntress isn't reliant on perks, there is no specific perk that is godlike on her and needed. Because of your large terror radius, survivors might hop off of gens early, so ruin and surveillance always work well to find out which gens survivors are on, and regress them. Infectious is great because of her snowball potential. Last perk can be anything, but pop and corrupt always work well on any killer.
Her TR is only 20m her lullaby is 40m

@ImRank20 DId you watch the video?

This is a pretty strong build for huntress in general. Corrupt Intervention turns away a lot of low rank and new players cause they think, "well it only lasts so long and then its gone." which is true, but during that time it forces the survivors to move towards you if they want to work on gens.
Whispers is good for a strong start to snowball off of, and BBQ is great overall to see where to go next. If your friend is great at aiming BBQ can get them some really dope across the map axe throws.
You can swap out Sloppy or whispers for something else if you wanted. But overall that is a good set-up.
Thanks

nope... not even going to try @LordGlint

I couldn't make it a commentary so you'll hear everything I did...

So if you have a question let me know... Good Luck
-
@EpicBigBrain Would it help to have gameplay to look at?

Learn another killer. Huntress is probably going to receive some "minor changes" since she's in a pretty good place right now.
Come on @SpaceCoconut
I run: Sloppy, Corrupt, BBQ, and Whispers
I also like the cooldown reducing addons (but with changes on the horizon don't use addons... get the timing of her wind up and cooldown)
I don't have any "no one else knows" tips but don't force a hatchet hit use your basic attack...
Relaod after a down not after a hook (survivors will be waiting for you to reload to save)
Sometimes throwing a hatchet at a pallet or window can slow the survivors just enough to get a hit

So recently my friend has been playing huntress alot lately as huntress really suits her style of killer. However my friend has been running into the constant issue of genrushing and doesnt know how to counter it as the old ruin used to work extremely well with her. Shes said her aim is another problem but as we know that will get better with time. Lastly she doesnt know when to give up on a chase as I've seen her over commit to chases to much.
Her current build for huntress is:
Bbq, Pop, curropt and nurses calling
Do you guys have possibly any tips on how she can help stop gens popping left, right and centre, or even a better build to help stop her with these hindrances?
I've tried to tell her to not over commit to chases but that just ends up with her getting little to no hooks. I have tried to help more but I can only give out so much advice as I myself are a Billy main (RIP Billy 2016-2020)
(Btw I will be sending her the screenshots of the replies to this thread)

i't like to hear more sounds like something that will happen they already gave a buff to clown but i am guessing they will rework him anyway.
IN MY OPINION (so feel free to destroy it)
Seeing that the chainsaw Bros got their changes...
Next chapter (17) could be... Huntress and clown
along with that Perk changes... more map changes
The chapter after that (18) could be the rank changes and MMR
More perk changes... and something tells me that they are going to do something new (that I haven't thought of)
Then they might test something that we've been wanting....
In the end... it's more wait and see thing...
-
So is it time to compare notes... LOL
-
In certain situations I'd eat that DS to ensure a hook state or kill later on... but other then that I go for my BBQ stacks first
Then again I've also forgot whom I hooked recently till I'm looking at the ground with DS stun in the corner of me screen
I do tunnel but not to death (so "light" tunnelling)... Is that bad honestly?
-
Yea... that's my point... I had a match where 2 survivors threw themselves at me (I think I was playing Oni) so I let the other 2 do gen and leave
It's happened (can't say all the time) in more games then I dare say...
Oh BTW, I play as: Pig, Huntress, Spirit, Hag... So if that's the problem then (Bad Word)
-
I've played many killer games that had a survivor (or two) that get downed pretty easily at the start....
I've wondered why they do that?

"Fun fact: you great skill check's bonus progression had to be CUT IN HALF after ruin was nerfed due to how powerful they were in reality."
Eh, disagree.
I think the Great Skill Check Progression-Bonus was cut in half because it was the easiest way to make Gens a little bit slower, without actually increasing the Gen Time. Like, you dont really need to think a lot about this or check if it is balanced or not.

I guess we will be waiting. But in my opinion DS at current state is the STRONGEST perk of the whole game. Not any killer perk comes even close.
going along with how the devs go about adjusting Survivor perks... there will be "blood"
Also... I agree that DS is (one of) the strongest survivor perks

Are you planning to rework DS to be less oppressive to the point when it's actual anti tunneling perk? such as de-activating DS when survivor goes to repair generator, or gets fully healed? (obviously not being tunneled)
Soon TM...
But I'd like to see what happens to killer perks along side that
-
I used to run Ruin and Huntress Lullaby together on Pig... It was fun
But now i don't run Ruin on most of the killers I play... That's only due to totem placements and not much else...
I would say the change to Ruin was "needed" but not "necessary" IMO...
Also side note... I thought Huntress Lullaby was considered a mid-late game perk.... and: Remember Me, STBFL, Spirit Fury (need I go on)
Now the game does need a skillcheck re-work... I've suggested some of my own... but hasn't been thought of as (much as I like it to be) something that is the best of both worlds (Survivors only affected when hit "so it's not passive" and they affect the Objective "which is where the Survivors need to be overall") and can be adjusted to match the climate of the game at the time
-
they already did with the End Game Collapse
Plus she has an addon that does just that
-
Right.... but increasing gen times would be detrimental to the game...
Survivors don't like holding (Insert your button of choice) for 40+ seconds
The devs either provide a second OBJ or (not do anything) all gen needing to be repaired... but let's face it that's not happening
OR
leave the two gens that aren't repaired when the 5th gen is done and allow the killer to "break" a completed gen or close the door and force another gen to be completed to reopen
-
I'd say she's next for a addon pass (hopefully that's all it is)
then it's more of the same (DLC's till they find the next big thing being complained about)
Or they decide to have the Huntress addon pass along side the Clown's re-work... oh and the rest of the maps
I can go on if you want me too
-
It's a wait and see thing... at least that's what I believe
Also the new MMR is something to take note of
An icon of the platform is a certainty (The devs need to do this at the start)
But then saying an icon for SWF's is hard for me to get behind... in another thread it was said that there're 2 types of SWF's (casual, competitive) so an icon would only mean SWF's would be dodged in the 50/50 chance they are a competitive squad
-
SWF's are the hardest thing to think of things to adjust in this type of game...
And in saying that I think an item (Walkie- Talkie) could be a start... limit call outs to either time and/or range

True.
Pig is an amazing killer. Just look at Scorpionz or yourself. She has both the crouching and the dash, allowing for great flexibility in chases. Her stalling power could use some improvement but it is generally really good. Sadly not many people devote time to her :(
Whoa there I'm not at that level yet but thanks for boosting my confidence
-
It's better if we just play like this and maybe it'll catch on
-
Pig is underrated
I posted a couple of my games on youtube might I suggest looking at those (there all gameplay so it should be easier)
-
It's all theory anyway
Just a thought so it's up to players and how they play (just look at how the games goes)

this sounds like a job without pay
I'M IN
Cool... But I started a youtube channel and that's pretty much the goal of it... But also having a hard time getting the message across (Cause I'm new to it)
Just record as much as you can (written not video.. unless you want) and as specifically as you want
-
Then how about making our own.... JS
I'm gathering my own and have a few ppl gathering their own
if the devs would prefer not to put stats out then let's get our own and compare stats
-
Huntress: Sloppy/Nurse's, Corrupt, BBQ, Whispers
Spirit: STBFL, Corrupt, BBQ, Stridor
Here are my builds for the Killers I play...
as for tips I can't speak on that I play on console and I'm sure there's a difference
-
1) Iri head should stay as a insta-down... why make it Deep-wounds We've seen how good it is (which is not good)
they need to make Iri head unstackable with the other addons (only having 1 hatchet is reasonable cause it allows for "more counterplay", plus more time would be spent reloading that one hatchet)
an introduce a second Iri addon (I have no idea what they could do besides slightly reducing wind up time, cooldown after a throw and/or increasing movement speed while charging a hatchet)
2) Spirit needs something different "the whole survivors can't play the same against every killer... the reason Spirit (and Freddie) is strong is the fact that survivors can't play the same against them
3) that would be the worst thing you can do to Freddie, don't get me wrong having more options for waking up would weaken Freddie but not automatically waking up
-
This is the first mobile game I've seen
That's great
