They have devs making new things and devs fixing old things (though the past few updates are what we have to go on)
They have said that they'll work on (things they have said publicly and things they can't talk about) everything... but starting with the newer stuff first
I would say that the game has stayed the same for a couple of years... so the playerbase has learned all they can... leading to stagnation and bordom... with breeds toxicity and wanting more
They won't fix the maps by hand... they'll adjust the numbers that make the maps (which I don't want)
This year they focused on connectivity ( getting servers, attempting server side hit validation, attempting MMR, Cross-play)
I personally don't know what next year will bring... but there's hope for big changes

Devotion 2
Level 70 (I think)

Admittedly, I'm not sure. I just believe that the perk in its current form is not salvageable and needs to be re-done from scratch.
How about...
Making it like GF power (gain Undetectable/ Oblivious until revealed by a survivor)
Cooldown 60/30/15 seconds
-
Good one
-
I think it would be cool... Instead of Mist offerings it could be snowfall up to a white out
Footsteps in the snow (tracking)
Scratch makes being visible

Of course you can use more Meta-Perks, because you can use a Non-teachable in the fifth Slot.
Like, my regular Survivor Build is DS, BT, Dead Hard, Iron Will. None of them can be moved, but I get something like Spine Chill for free so that Stealth Killers are in a disadvantage without me giving up any of my Meta-Perks.
Vault Build for Survivors is usually Spine Chill, Resilience, Iron Will and an Exhaustion Perk (mostly Dead Hard). Now you can move either Spine Chill or Resilience to the fifth Slot and have a Slot for DS.
For Killers, my Billy-Build is Whispers, Enduring, BBQ and Infectious Fright. I can move Whispers and get something like Spirit Fury or a Slowdown Perk of my choice. Or on my Spirit, I use BBQ, Corrupt Intervention, Sloppy Butcher and Nurses Calling. I could move Sloppy to put something like PGTW in as an example.
Even if it would only be a Perk Slot for non-teachable, you will be able to run more Meta-Perks.
I was think of:
Corrupt- TT- DMS- Nemesis- Whispers
Sloopy- Thana- Dying Light- Distressing- Coulrophobia
My killer build right now is:
Sloppy- Corrupt- BBQ- Whispers (then I can add on STBFL or any other perk for that matter)

I have to agree with @Aven_Fallen
Givin the track record...

might allow the killer see a key....

Huntress hitboxes when playing Huntress vs facing Huntress:
Makes sense now thanks :)
also.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAh

The SAW chapter (I'm a Jigsaw disciple)
Agree on Supernatural needing to be in the game
I also like the Original Chapters the devs make though

I mean, you say that like huntress doesn't throw tower fans instead of hatchets
I miss a lot (console players)
Sometimes I panic and throw onw when I shouldn't (that's on me)
-
Either way you'd still have to hit your shot
-
So "meta don't work against killer x... plz buff meta"
NO... let's not and say we did
Same has been said for BT not working against Freddie
The list goes on... maybe adjust your playstyle instead of relaying on perks
-
Timing is important... He moves slower when ADS'd so as stated before don't spend a lot of time ADS'd
Learn how survivors path around you and take every advantage it offers
RT (R2) first... then spear them for the down
As you learn adjust your perks to match your strengths and weaknesses
Reload and stun duration addons are your best friend as you learn him...
-
There's more threads discussing this...
It just got shadowed by the teaser trailer for the next chapter
-
Looks promising so far...
Can't wait to only be able to watch people play all the new things
-
I feel that sometimes my sensitivity is messed up
And it's not even when a survivor is running around me...
Like at the start of the match.. I look around but instead I spin (and it's inverted)

I hadn't even thought of that. I think it could be a good idea. It doesn't take THAT long to go from rank 20 to 1 anyway. But good luck getting a bunch of people behind it. They only conform to the devs' ideas, then get angry when the game's in such a bad state.
I posted my idea a week or so ago... nothing came of it cause no one goes to the feedback section

Those were the golden days. We could actually avoid rainbow rank matchmaking. But not anymore. Now the devs and their lemmings want to cover up every piece of information with a black sharpee. Yet they'll allow stream sniping in a heartbeat.
Indeed...
I've been on a kick about expanding ranks... How do you feel on that? (not to change the subject)

I hadn't done this math, and it certainly sounds bleak. I've always felt like I get a decent return on kicking them but now I'm not so sure. I don't kick every Generator; I am selective, but now I am wondering if I'm selective enough. I'm hoping Pop shows up on the Shrine for me to grab at some point. For the most part, I always run Ruin so that is how I cover.
I did some of the math

It's not worth it
Regression is .25 c/s
Progression is 1 c/s
Pop does 25% instantly then normal regression takes over
Overcharge- takes missing a skillcheck
Huntress Lullaby- Takes missing a skillchecks
Ruin- .50 c/s
Just not all of it
-
It's the same as when we were able to see survivors rank in the lobby... they called that a bug but it helped newer players easily avoid a match or two
-
I just give a (Bad Word) anymore... which is bad
Now I just want to find players who either are new or want to practice/learn

Thank you fam, I'm doing my best, outside of this game my mental health really has just been terrible, I've began showing symptoms of psychosis and that's getting in the way of very important things in my life and this game always just giving me no source of happiness really just sucked. I'm planning to get a professional soon though, hopefully things will pick up after that. Thanks for looking out
I try... I wish you luck

Legion: Activating FF and ending it (double tapped the power button) with a survivor right in front me... in the bunny suit
-
I say this with respect.... Take care of yourself (it's better then spending time in this game)

All we need is to be able to see in the lobby when we has a SWF group. We already can see when they are from another platform, so why not show who is in group.
I wouldn't mind it... still will play against them (I do like a challenge every so often)

I play on PS4. And seeing that you "ez 4k all the time", maybe you're not a good judge of the difficulty of red rank killer when compared to us peasants. I would probably turn off SWF after having a bad match against one. Otherwise I would not have it permanently turned off "for an ez 4k" like someone above assumed that I would do.
Now you are assuming that I get 4k's all the time (I don't sorry)
I play on Xbox... and I do have Cross-play on
I reached R1 right before cross-play was released (and never want to get that again)
Honestly I am a good judge of the difficulty of a red rank killer Cause I have been there (Bad Word)
So you would turn SWF off.... after you "lose" though (ok cool)
Also I never assumed what you'd do with that option (which is why I asked.... and was right... so....)
-
Here I am a R8 killer and going against R1-R16's
I know Match Making is terrible right now (devs are slow to make the changes to MMR cause it failed the first time)
But the solution is a simple one.... Expanding Ranks

They most certainly were not. Always hovering with flashlights, almost always on the same gen together. All cross-platform so I couldn't ask, but you can literally tell they weren't solos. Don't doubt my intuition, I'm rank 1.
OK...
So what platform do you play on... the Globe icons just show they aren't on your platform
I have reached R1 as well... "Don't doubt my intuition"
I play against the same kind of survivors most of the time... And I have 4k'd them as well
If they did implement the option would you dodge every SWF (just to keep an worthless number)
-
Yea... SUS as (Bad Word)
-
You know they could just be good solo survivors
-
Did you notice that Sprit looking around or was it straight to you
I go to an area I think survivors are then look around
I even caught a few hiding in lockers randomly doing this
-
Not all SWF's are sweaty
Some are just talking about whatever and just playing the game
Some are maybe having a friend play the game for the first time (or haven't played in awhile)
Some are giving basic callouts... Like "killer on me" or "gen I'm on is almost done'
Some are sweaty and making better callouts
Some are duos or trios
Some were made from the lobby
-
Cause there's only 4 ranks per color and the MM looks for ranks within 6 at first then expands the search when there aren't enough players on at a giving rank
-
Only having 4 ranks per color is bad enough... and it's not hard to get to R1
If they really wanted to make ranks feel rewarding then expand them would be first
-
@Parallax I like that idea
Also My idea isn't really a QOL thing...
Survivor Roles: a way to convey what perks might be used by you and other survivors
Gen jocky- more focused on gens
Runner- more focused on being chased
Healer- more focused on making sure everyone is healed
Distraction- more focused on pulling the killers attention away from others
Decoy- more focused on leading the killer away from others
Stealthy- more focused on staying away from the killer (or losing the killer in chase)
I have seen other people say they want to see perks on the other survivors... which would be nice and this can help with that as well
-
Most discussions end with insults cause one side or both can't seem to find common sense or logic
Like... yea having 2-3 matches with survivors wanting you to feel (a type of way) doesn't mean that all survivors are like this
And the opposite is true as well
I feel ya on this and I will carry on now
Also... I would've said discussions in the title (now that I've read it all)
-
I don't understand how a DBD tournament goes...
I have seen: Overwatch, R6 Siege, CS:GO pro play
-
My MM and ranking comes down to expanding the ranks... Might encourage some players to come back
Restricting MM would be possible with expanded ranks... with more ranks there would be more separation between the colors
Also expanding the ranks can mean the devs can adjust Pips per color... also add in a double depip for the higher ranks might be a thing
SWF's should be restricted to match colors... Red's with Red's (Brown's with Brown's).... also Red's can't SWF with Brown's
Adding a casual mode with this version of MM wouldn't be terrible... though it would make that frustrating in of itself
Adding a free camera to KYF's for the spectator would help with those players whom want to make content or those players whom want to help out fellow players
-
Survivor: 4/10
Killer: 6/10
Only have the build I like on one survivor... And I either go down in 20 seconds or lose my mind after a minute (usually against a Doc)
I'm only confident with The Pig.... but have back ups with Spirit, Hag, Huntress (even though she's bugged) with a little Wraith, Doc, GF, Clown, Deathslinger... I'm not good at Nurse, PH, Demogorgon, Oni, Billy, Huntress (cause I don't play as her much anymore I suck now)... I don't play Bubba or Freddie also Trapper (though I don't know why)

alright what ideas would you like more information on, I can come up with pretty much anything because I have nothing but voices in my head.. I mean ideas
1) I still haven't met all of the voices in my head... lol
2) My ideas are more centered around MM and ranking
3) I don't have all perks unlocked yet so I can't say much on them... But
Corrupt Intervention Will eventually need to be changed into something else due to the devs talking about "reverse endgame collapse"
The made the change to Pop due to having time to search for the "perfect" gen to kick... hopefully DS gets something similar (also adding an deactivation condition like being fully healed/ entering a locker)
Ruin: the biggest boom or bust perk (IMO) by itself... Shouldn't be by itself but not stacked with another "slowdown" perk
Surge... I like the change... can't say I have anything to add to it (one of the perks I don't have yet)
So how about Dying Light cause I think that lessening the bonus to the obsession would be good
-
I can take this one step further and say that the killer choice has something to do with this
Pig: Once a single survivor goes down (and trap is placed) survivors in a SWF will not complete a gen till either the survivor has searched two boxes or already taken it off/ or complete as many gen as possible to limit the opportunity for active traps... Solos will complete the gen and activate the trap anyway
Just one example
-
I also have a firm grasp of Whispers...
I do miss some survivor auras behind objects...
Crows... not so much
I juke myself due to predicting... I don't play survivor as much so there are things I can still learn
-
As I do agree that "slowdown" perks do need (but it's kinda of a strong word to use here) some sort of change to make them "solo" perks... there's only so far it can go before one single perk is "too strong"
@IMhereRUN the Feedback hardly get traffic so I much prefer to have a "general discussion" before it does eventually does get moved
@bjorksnas I too have a few ideas on this topic... would like to exchange our ideas further
-
What map was it on?
How would you describe the match in general?
How many:
Hits did you get?
Hooks did you get?
Gens completed?
How long did it take to get your first hook?
How long did it take for the first gen to be completed?
Rather then showing us a screenshot after the match and saying something... take the time to look at the match(es) and develop your idea before putting out there

@MadLordJack said:
Let me put it this way: Generators regress at 1/4 of the speed that survivors repair them. Kicking takes 2 seconds. In order to create 10 seconds of work for the survivors, you need them to leave it alone for 40 seconds. They can undo your regression in under half a second with nothing stopping them, to the point that even Overcharge let's them hit the skillcheck as they are running away to allow this gen tapping.
You are not supposed to kick generators. It is a mechanic that seems to exist primarily to enable perk abilities, suck as Overcharge, PGTW, Dragons Grip and Trail of Torment. Your time is 4× more valuable than a survivors, so don't bother taking 5 seconds of your trial to kick a generator unless you know for a fact that there is absolutely no-one anywhere near that will even remotely consider the possibility of tapping the generator, because it's roughly equivalent to you standing still for 20+ seconds as a survivor.
Same thing I said
Thanks :)

Kindred... is a great solo Q perks
IW... can allow one to evade the killer
BT... for when you have to save in a pinch
DS... killers have to respect an obsession (sometimes)
Technician... getting work done around the killer
Distortion... 3 chances to know an aura reading perk the killer might be using (soft counter to Undying and other aura reading)
Bond... see teammates auras up to 36m away (having knowledge on teammates while in chase is good)
Better Together... show teammates the gen you are working on (hopefully to either help or avoid that area when chased)

It'd be a cool thing to have in-game. There's already a website that shows you most of your DbD stats but it'd be kinda cool to see a stats page in game that I could look at. Maybe give everyone actual customisable profiles in the game too and give people the option to show their stats.
Then they can add a very simple message function to the game so you can communicate to people cross-platforms and have a stronger social aspec-I'm being way too optimistic here aren't I lmao. Aside from a small number of changes I want for general gameplay and certain killers, a stronger social aspect is the thing I want the most out of DbD. Would just be nice to see more of people's personality through the game with profiles and the ability to talk to them etc.
I am not against it at all... It would be cool to have in game stats
All I'm saying is that implanting it won't be easy and won't be what we want (par for the course)
