Pig and Hag... Pig can get downs and Traps while Hag sets up her Traps (LOL... see what I did there)
-
I can't even play it for now.... So I'm not as excited as others are but hopeful to the Bloodweb changes
-
Nurse then Twins
Given how much feedback they got...
And it would be nice to see other things be discussed on the forums
-
I'm ok with a unranked/ranked modes...
Unranked: all perks, Items, addons and Offerings can be used
Ranked: most of the perks, Items, Addons and Offerings can be used
I would add Perkless as a separate gamemode (cause I feel doing that will get more people to play)
-
They need to incentivize not Camping first... And not perks AKA band-aid fixes
I do agree that BP loss should be increased (but it wouldn't matter to those whom decide to Camp from the start)
I think they did all they could to help Survivors out but now it's time for Killers to get help (to not Camp)
- I can get behind that
- I think that base kit Kindred should be a thing... not for Camping but for Solo's
- Why just a few seconds... if the Killer wants to Camp then they should lose aura reading till they move out (16M) range
- I can agree with that
- Ok... so I thought about it for like 2-3 minutes... and the best thing I can think of is give Killers a 3 second "grace period" any longer and they will lose 100BP per second (if not in chase)... I think making it a flat loss will make some Killer think twice about camping
But then again Endgame all bets are off... cause:
- there are no Gens to defend
- The doors need to be opened
- I can't stand when Survivors stand and teabag in the exit gates

what does this have to do with camping? that's what I'm trying to discuss.
Cause I'm thinking of why Killers camp
And them not getting much regression value seems to be a point that I have come up with (and that's why I tend to camp)
But then again it does matter when the camp is set up
-
It's the fact that there are no more Gen left to defend... so Killers will take advantage of injured Survivors and so on and so forth
-
Every Killer needs Skill to play well
Which is one reason they added MMR
-
So what are you complaining about... COB and Overcharge or the fact that the Spirit Tunneled?
Plus it takes like 3 minutes to fully regress a Gen... so from 80% to 20% would mean about 2 minutes
-
@Bot_Salvo88 said:
Just let the gen go before that happens if you're having troubles with it. If you see that the gen is almost at 90% and the killer is about to hook a survivor, just let go a bit earlier than that. Or run Repressed Alliance, a perk that makes you block a gen for a certain amount of time, so the gen won't lose progress at all.
I am surprised that it's not being used
-

Sadly I dont have a screenshot but a jake literally just crouched at the shack pallet on autohaven and victor "missed" I didnt move any further forward cause well they were blocking it, and I didnt get the hit wall effect. It was as if I did I full range pounce and missed but instead I got bodyblocked by a survivor. Like how on earth are victors hitboxes this bad.
Yea... that's all it takes for some Killers to miss
-
@babayagasaga So what about increasing base Gen regression... from .25 to .50 and changing the perks related to it
Now again I said change not buffing nor nerfing but change
-
Stop playing... I know that it can be hard to stop something
But in the end it's more helpful then complaining about it and still playing it
Set a time to take breaks... then do it
-
What's a Killer to do when quick unhooks are happening and Gens are getting done
Base Gen regression is so low that kicking Gens don't do that much
Chasing another survivor causes a 3rd Survivor to go for the save
plus Survivors still don't leave the Camped Survivor alone for any more then 10 seconds (or they will leave them till death while the Killer is chasing a Survivor)
-
It would be nice to see how my Killers compare to one another
But on the other hand I would stay away from those Killers with High MMR (cause I don't want to sweat all the time)
-
It's the same for all Killers... at times
-
I would add 100% Healing on downed Survivors... and take that off of WGLF
-
It's a mistake as far as I am aware... it could be a bug
I read something similar a bit ago
I don't know to be honest

I was playing deathslinger that match when I got brutal and I am awful at him because I have no good shot
I had a ritual so...
And the gens went flying . I only speared 2 survivors I got 1 hook
And then I got brutal and I depip. If this is not entity displeased then what
For emblems I got
2 were not even brown . I mean they were "invisible " and 2 bronze. One gatekeeper and the other for the chase
This ######### is really messed up......
Anyways I dont care about the pips because this game is having a lot of issues and you cant have fun even if you want to so they can do whatever they want to with this
Ok then
-
Pips are counted by:
How long it takes to get all the Gens done... Gatekeeper
Chases (how many and for how long... Hunter
Injuries/ downs... Hunter/ Deviousness
And Hooks... Sacrifice
And how much you use your power... Deviousness
-
I love this idea
Make Rin's father the Killer and Rin the Survivor... And think of the perks (OH BOY)

Careful with regression buffs. There are already some killer-players that look at the map at the very beginning, identify their 3gen and never move out of it (equiping 4 regression perks and sacrificing 4 gens in the progress). Right now it's loosing tactics, but not by a huge margin.
I know... but if they do increase the base regression then they can do other things for regression perks
Like Oppression can get .50 charges per second on the Gen you kick but then get .25 charges per second on the other Gens
Call Of Brine could (IMO... lose the Gen aura first) Start off getting a lot of regression done but as you use it it gets less (or vice-versa)
PGTW would stay the same but I would watch it... same with Overcharge and PR
Ruin would be the same as it was before so not much to worry about there
But yea I do know what you are saying
-
I would like to see anything (given time... I guess)
A 2V8
A 1V1 (someone had already mentioned it)
A real Training mode (for new players and for players that haven't played for awhile)
Not a new mode but a new way to play the Game... Needing to complete Gens to open up the map (think of COD Zombies)
A real story mode (someone had already mentioned it)... rifts are ok at this point but we (I) kinda want something more
A no perk mode (rather then getting the ok for it on KYF)
-
Yea... and my point being that some of it does depend on if the Survivor actually survives
But I digress... It does need to be looked at (big time)
and even though the incentives are going to be put into the game I doubt it's going to change much
-
It's not the only way to get rid of Camping
I say increasing base Gen regression should help... cause what's a Killer to do with a Survivor on hook (look for another Survivor, make Loops more manageable and kicking Gens to start the regression process)
But with base Gen regression the way it is doesn't offer that much regression by far (.25 charges per second)
Cause right now the regression will take 5 minutes and 47 seconds to completely regress the Gen
And yes with regression perks it does shorten the regression times but
PGTW: 4 minutes (an estimation)
Ruin: is the same as normal regression
PR: around 5 minutes (an estimation)
Call Of Brine: I can't do the math for it (LOL)... thanks Choy for a video about it -4 minutes and 46 seconds-
Overcharge: Same as Call Of Brine (LOL).... thanks Choy for a video about it -3minutes and 3 seconds-
And progression being 1 minute and 30 seconds (without hitting greats and no other Survivor, perks, and Toolboxes)
-
I agree and some of it does come down to did you escape or not... cause that's 5,000BP and with little ways to get any more
I think completing Gens should count toward Survival (but that could be just me)
I also think that Healing others (not just yourself) should count towards Survival (but that could be just me)

I don't understand how this perk made it though designing, play testing, and to live servers without anyone pointing out how terrible it is. There shouldn't be a single thing in this game that's solely answered by perks, there should be basekit anti-tunneling measures, basekit gen regression, and basekit answers to perks, and for the most part, it appears that BHVR is actually taking the correct approach here: They buffed gen kicking, added a 10 second basekit BT, and made things like Noed, Ruin, and Dead Hard actually counter-able for most players. But then they turned around a made the tone deaf decision to add this perk, here's why it does not work at all for any killers aside from top tiers.
- 1: It takes up one of your precious 4 perk slots, while one boon only takes 1 perk slot out of the 16 survivors have.
- 2: It still doesn't change the fact that survivors can just put it at areas that takes a gross amount of time to reach.
- 3: Again, you're sacrificing 25% of your perks, and guess what? Survivors can just... not bring boons! And there goes your perk slot! It's like old small game but even worse.
- 4: There's no basekit answer to boons, so if you want to be able to do anything about COH(Because let's be honest, COH is the only boon that's actually a problem) then you have to bring this perk, otherwise, you're completely out of luck, good luck if you're playing Wraith!
And now with reassurance coming, I'm sure it'll take Shattered Hopes spot as the most obnoxious perk in the game, 5 dollars to not get camped?
So no one's going to mention the fact that OP said that Ruin is easier to deal with now?
OK.... So Ruin has been easy to counter (tap the Gen and see if you get Cursed then either stay on the Gen for as long as possible or find the totem and cleanse it)
Just because it lost 100% of regression doesn't mean it's "now easier" to counter... it's more about gamesense and logic
SO now onto the main topic... Shattered Hope
It was made as a knee-jerk reaction to COH being strong... and since they nerfed it (twice) it finally reached the "borderline usefulness"
Basekit Gen regression... what .25 charges per second or the 2.5% of instant regression (they both aren't as good as first thought)
Actually there are more Perks to counter Perks and Perks to counter playstyles (PGTW VS Repressed Alliance... 4 Items VS Franklin's... Lockers VS Iron Maiden... ETC)
-
Agreed.... I had the same thought process
-
At first BT only activated when Killer was within TR of the unhook... and not Undetectable
Then it was changed to activating anytime an unhook happens
so Survivor perks are some of the reason that Camping and Tunneling happened... who else sees it
-
Try them all and find out the ones that help you
-
I would Decrease the Cooldown on TV's -cause it would add more interaction (IMO) to Sadako's kit-
Increase the Condemnation rates -cause it would mean Condemnation is more threatening-
Make more ways to get Condemned (Being near Sadako as she Manifests and Demanifests or being near a TV that's on) -also to add more interaction-
Remove the lullaby... maybe (the more I think about it the more I don't like that idea)
Decrease the number of stacks removed when putting a tape into a TV (from all to 3 max) -that way there's more give and take-
I don't have a lot of experience playing Sadako so take what I say with a grain of salt

That's debatable, I guess.
I've literally never found facing Billy scary, but ever since he got a unique chase music.. Damn, the atmosphere has changed and I'm really gettng nervous whenever I'm being chased by him. It's like my mind and heartbeat are running at over a three times higher speed!
Well I stand corrected
-
The longer one plays the less everything is scary
It's a PvP game so the scare factor will wane over time
Think about the first time you faced a specific Killer VS now
-
It would be nice to see different TR (20,22,24,26,28,34,36,38)
But for Deathslinger... IDK
-
LOL.... Now I want this... to take place in Andy's bedroom
-
Kinda doesn't matter to me... It's not like they are going to be running the perks associated to the Survivor they picked
They are just skins IMO... what does matter to me is what Items they bring in
-
I like the difference in Killer Powers...
7 different range types of Killers: Clown, Huntress, Trickster, Deathslinger, Pinhead, Pyramid Head and Plague
5-6 different Stealth Killers: Wraith, Mickey, Pig, Ghostface, Sadako and Freddie (Maybe, maybe not)
3 different Instant down type of Killers: Hillbilly, Bubba and Oni
Then Killers like: Doctor, Legion, Nurse, Nemesis... ETC

i hear you! I disagree, though. I don't think being able to grab someone off an unhook is healthy for the game as a whole. hook trades I think are fine, but i think the minigame of having to bait unhooks forever is pretty dumb.
Well then we can agree to disagree... I think that's fair enough
-
1) Gen regression is laughable at this point... get a friend a find out (get a Gen to 99% then kick it with or without regression perks)
2) Maps are absurd... for both sides
-
Or they could increase the base regression from .25 to .50 and see what happens
-
Hook grapping shouldn't be taken away... it all depends on timing (it's the same thing as Gen grapping)
Best thing to do is to push Gens while the person is being camped (sorry to say)
With camping being the go to strat... it is safe to assume the Devs are looking at how and why it happens
But I can say why... regression is so low right now (.25 charges per second) it needs to be increased... and it'll put a dent in Killers running 4 regression perks (but that isn't a guarantee)
-
Killers should go into a match thinking that the Survivors are using the strongest perks
And Survivors should go into a match thinking that the Killers are using the strongest perks
Also this game has become about what perks are used and not what Killer is being played
-
She is the weakest Killer... for all of the points that have been said
But there are other Killers that need to be looked at as well (either strong or weak)
-
Personally I don't have a lot of time played on Nurse but I do understand her power (To an extant)
Yes her range is one thing but the other is her Blink Attacks counts as basic
So those 2 things be what I would think about
-
Play a couple rounds of KYF so you can teach her what to do in situations
Then play Survivor matches (4-5)
Then have her play Killer matches (4-5)
Then have her tell you what she thinks of how the matches went
-
Solo- 4
Killer-5
I'll be honest I don't think that I am good at this game (I haven't even played it for 5-6 months)
I fail a lot of times against SWF's and good Survivors
-
I mean there's only so much they can do with Thana cause Dying Light and Gift Of Pain also grant slowdown
Though in different ways they end up becoming the ultimate slowdown build
Also with longer Gens it makes it difficult
