I've only went against one SWF (I think) and They were all near P90. I lost, because I suck and run at a very smooth 20 frames (switch).
My condolences about how BHVR did the Switch dirty.

Very well written post, the issue isn't that survivors are too strong, it's that they don't have to work as hard for perk value.
I think pain res treatment is necessary for a lot of survivor meta perks: Make the effect stronger, but obtaining that effect more difficult and skill reliant.
For resilience, you could nerf its current effect down to 6%, but double its effect while in deep wound to 12%. This would make it less effective for cranking out gens, but make it far stronger in chase.
I don't think many Survivor perks need nerfs at the moment.

Nah. I've tested a lot of Wraith and I agree with Otz's C tier rating of Wraith. Condemn Onyro is definitely stronger than Wraith.
Wraith is decent on most maps but there are some maps he is extremely bad on. The main issue with Wraith is he has nothing to shorten a chase in a loop, so if survivors aren't stupid and run the loop instead of pre-dropping instantly, it becomes very difficult to win. People only think Wraith is strong because most survivors are stupid and will just wait a pallet to drop it while you uncloak instead of looping it. Wraith is mainly strong on maps with few pallets. He struggles significantly on maps where:
- there are many pallets
- loops can be chained
- the map is too narrow for Wraith to overtake survivors and body block them
Examples of terrible maps for Wraith are: Borgo, Lery's, Mother's Dwelling, The Game, Midwich (depending on your build), and Garden of Joy.
Wraith is fine on The Game.
And yeah, duh Condemned Sadako is stronger than Wraith. Condemned is stronger than a LOT of Killers

They were.
I was also trying to play survivor.

Larry is sort of the opposite of most Killers.
He's super strong at the beginning of the match, but can feel weak during the mid-game.
Focus on controlling the EMP economy. Make people waste EMP's and force extensive time sinks into grabbing new ones. Right now, if you can manage that and keep it up, you gain so much value.

So what did BHVR do about it? It feels like killer mains want survivors to waste time with inefficient healing (not doing gens) but don’t want to expressly say this because it would sound unreasonable.
They adjusted some med-kit add-ons, nerfed Toolboxes, nerfed Keys and dropped a lot of decent healing perks like Inner Strength, CoH etc etc

If you come about killer ability, then it's another issue,it will be more harder to make example due to every killer has multiple play style and every of them will be affected by MFT in different ways and different levels.
But besides that,a single perk that can't break the m1 chasing mechanic i think is already too OP.
The fact of the matter is that most Killers have built in ways to deal with it.
The Killers that don't are already bad and need help

Except they should have a chance for hit too, and they even changed his kit to make hitting survivors more reliable.
"they won't hit anyway for most so it's fine" is plain false, they are very well designed to injure survivors.
Only Assassin is designed to injure Survivors and he does get turned pretty useless by Made for This.
Carnifex is your pallet shredder and time waster. He'll still lock on and chase them, forcing them to waste time.
Jailer is your patroller/chase buddy. He'll look on and be a good chase buddy, forcing Survivor to juggle two threats.
Prior to his changes, none of his Guards would ever hit Survivors but they aren't supposed to guarantee hits.
-
Honestly, it's really just Hyperfocus 2.0 more than DH 2.0
Can it be super busted in the right scenario? Yes, absolutely. Is it going to be consistently impactful for the average player? I don't think so.

The Knight is heavilly countered by this perk, as with MFT the survivor can run faster than the guards, meaning they represent no risk for the survivors. Of course you still can "pinch" the survivor with the Knight and the Guard, but if the guard does not take the best route, the surv can outrun the guard easily.
The point of Knight's Guards isn't to get hits, it's to time waste and to put Survivors into unfavorable situations.

It's not going to be a very impactful. The slow in chase doesn't matter when the EMP is used immediately after you're tagged from a Biopod. That alone is time spent doing literally nothing as killer. It's the equivalent of going AFK. The slowdown will help when someone is already in a chase and slipstreamed, but they probably don't have an EMP at that point because survivors often use them as soon as they're tagged from a biopod. The changes don't address anything that actually makes the EMPs problematic.
The gameplay loop is biopod>tag>EMP to reset the power>biopod>tag. I don't know what the slowdown while using an EMP is supposed to address when the problematic EMP is usually used before the chase is initiated
EMP in chase is no longer viable
The other changes affect the EMP economy. There's only four crates printing one every 100s. If you can consistently tag people, they'll run out of EMP's fast and be forced to endure a HUGE timesink.

Lots of people say that, but they actually underrated the power of MFT.
We don't even need to talk about how op it would be in the looping.
Just talk about the skilless and steady game play, the shift W into pre-drop.
You only need to shift w after being hit, then pre-drop a pallet once with MFT,then it is already longer than 50sec.
How could it be? sounds unreal right?
Yes, this perk just too powerful that it sounds unreal.
With MFT, killer need to spend 50sec to catch up a 24m distance.
And being hit already gain you 16 m, pre-drop a pallet force killer to kick it gain you another more than 9m (2.34sec*4m).
See? it's already more than 24 m.
In other words, you only need to shift W and pre-drop once, it's already stronger than SB.
And you can keep doing the shift w into pre-drop stuff, cause due to the MFT ,killer need to spend more than 18sec (9/(0.12*4)) to catch up,and in that time, survivor can easily went to next pallet and pre-drop it.
This doesn't even consider if the survivor actually knows how to loop.
Unless you're Nurse, Blight, Spirit, Wesker, Huntress, Deathslinger, Wraith, Clown, Legion, Oni, Pinhead, Twins or Knight.
You are kinda countered if you're Singularity or Billy.
Everyone else is pretty hard countered by it.

It's original mettle of men, what do you mean?
25% extra distance is literally it's effect, what do you mean the absolute worst case?
I see, it was just worded weird, my apologies.
Almost every Exhaustion perk gives you 150% movement speed for 3 seconds. In those 3 seconds, you move 18m. Normally, you'd move 12m, so you get 6 extra meters of movement, not bad. MFT gives you a 3% Haste effect. In order for that to be equivalent, you'd need to be in chase for FIFTY seconds while injured. You are better off running SB or Lithe to delay the first hit.
Made For This is a "win harder" perk. It's not going to save you from someone the same skill as you or better than you. It's only going to let you dunk on people worse than you.

You are right and I will be honest I would even stop trying to talk to Pulsur. He is such a closed-minded person and you never going to get anywhere with him on a topic you two disagree with. My mom and dad have a phrase for people like him "Would argue with a STOP sign." Like I get ppl don't like SM but there a lot who do so how about just go away and having your own little "we hate SM club house" I know I enjoy her a lot more than Singlarity right now bc I can play and get result with her and you know to use her power meanwhile I'm not allowed to use Sing's power since there an emp in every survivor's hands at all times....
You are allowed to enjoy Killers. I enjoy Legion.
Does that mean I think Legion is designed in a good way? Nope. Is he still enjoyable for me to play? Yup. These things are not mutually exclusive.
As much as you may enjoy Skull Merchant, you cannot deny that she is an extremely problematic design that needs a LOT of work. There's a reason she's absolutely despised by a majority of the community, with some of those people taking it way too far. I am trying to prevent another SM-design disaster.
And for the record, I'm open-minded to good arguments; I simply haven't seen any evidence that SM has a better design than Larry.

If you couch it in terms of drones then no, no one else does these things. But let's break them out of a drone box into their more general actions
Hag, Trapper, Demo and Singularity can all to varying degrees defend 4 gens simultaneously
Again snapping out of drone focus, any killer can lose their terror radius as there is enough perk support to make that generally accessible. On her own without addons or perks her stealth isn't even good and is actively defeated by the fact that to get and maintain it she has to stay in an Active drone's field. So you know exactly where she and if she intends to maintain that stealth where she is going, but it falls off really fast once she steps out of a field without the adaptive lighting addon.
Exposed is something that is a feature of several killers powers by default or through addons and there is enough perk support for basically any Killer to punish a survivor whether they took an action or didn't take an action.
Clawtraps are unique to Skull Merchant so the closest equivalent would killer instinct which is far less conditional and harder to deal with.
Clawtrap pallet breaks also break the clawtrap along with it so it isn't as there is no benefit for survivors. You can get a similar effect on any killer if you run Dissolution.
I would remove Trapper from that list. He cannot reasonably trap 4 gens. Hag, Demo and Larry can.
Out of those four, Hag's traps can be removed easily and I do not think she gets a notification for it. It also does not debuff the Survivors to remove it. Demo's Portals are annoying to deal with, but they ultimately do not allow him to win the time war against Survivors, it's close, but not quite because you have ample opportunity to run away if he TP's. Larry gets cucked by EMP's right now, so he's out of it entirely.
Dull Merchant's Drones give her a swath of benefits for holding a 3-gen or a 4-gen. She gets faster, stealthier, built in Dissolution which allows her to play almost any pallet and she gets tracking. Couple this with the fact that Drones CANNOT be disabled immediately, provide Exposed (making working on gens inside of them unviable) AND provide adequate time for gen regression perks like Overcharge + CoB to work and you have a Killer built to hold gens in a way that no other Killer can.
Hell, she even has add-ons to make skill checks horrifically difficult. Have you tried to hit the Overcharge skill-check with those add-ons?

MOM is a Op perk right?
But even MOM has these limits
1.need to set up(even if you must can set up before you die in most of cases)
Which limits it can using in early game.
2.having downside(if killer drop the chasing after MOM affect, killer can seeing your arua forever until you got down)
3.Can only use once.
Value gain from MOM
One extra health Bar,
And MFT?
Limit:
no limit,no set up,no downside
Value:
25%extra distance for everything in chasing which could be consider better than an extra health bar.
Ah almost forgot,it even has a second effect.
I thought we were talking about original Mettle of Man.
Also, your numbers for MFT are the absolute worst case scenario and assume that the Survivor is both in an incredibly favorable positions and makes no mistakes.

I find MMR to often be a convenient scapegoat... Half of the people who complain about it and lobby shop at higher mmrs don't seem to actually understand how it works.
MMR's purpose is to make sure you win and lose roughly half the time. If you're facing survivors that outskill you, SWF or otherwise, the solution is not to shop for easier targets or to switch to ruthless strats you don't particularly enjoy. That only increases your mmr even more and cements your place in that mmr bracket with stronger opponents than you can naturally handle.
It's almost like to these people pride and bragging rights of being high mmr are more important than having fun games, since if things go wrong, they can always blame the system.
If MMR is supposed to make my winloss 50%, it isn't working lol
I get "good players" every three or so matches but I only get a good match once in a blue moon.

Aren't all killers strong at holding a good 3 gen? Of course it's a strong strat as her. I'm just saying that's not the only way to play her, and she can be played in a fun way.
But I'm just gonna stop replying to you now because apparently if I disagree with you, I'm "insulting" you...
No, not all Killers can hold 3-gens indefinitely.
DM's power allows her to win the time war against Survivors in 3-gen scenario. It's completely beatable, but only by a good team with coordination over a period of about 30-45 minutes.
No decent team is gonna stick around that long.
You don't have to play her that way. Like with Bubba, you CAN just not use your power and be an M1 Killer. I've yet to see a non-3gen or Totem Defending DM. My shortest game with her so far as been 20 minutes. I've got other things to do rather than play hour long matches

A perk giving you extra 25% distance for everything in chasing FOREVER can't be fine unless it has a huge downside.
But in this case right now it just a perk makes shift W into pre-drop become so problematic,it could actually be more problematic than MOM consider that unlike MOM it can even active it's OP effect in the first chasing make the first chasing (the weakest state of killer) become so much longer.
lmao, it's not even close to MoM.
It's closerto Hyperfocus. Really good in theory, not often good in practice.
It's not an issue that I see a desperate need to be addressed immediately. Perhaps it does turn out to be slightly overtuned, perhaps it doesn't.

Oh yeah, he's a lot of fun... when you can use his kit. But competent survivors can shut it down 90% of the time leaving you worse than the Skull Merchant who at least gets benefits when survivors hack her Drones.
I'm still not entirely convinced the EMP nerfs will be enough to deal with it. Feels like there are a number of other changes they should make to EMPs beyond what is already planned like the boxes ceasing to automatically print new ones to completion after a certain point in the trial, forcing survivors to spend time to deliberately finish them. As it is I have managed to get the work in and tag a survivor with a Slipstream only for them to literally pause mid-chase to grab an EMP from an open crate and use it to remove the Slipstream.
That's not a good idea.
Also, your specific frustration you listed will not be possible unless you allow it after the patch. Survivors will be Hindered by 10% whilst charging an EMP, which now takes a half second longer to charge.
This also nerfs just holding a charged EMP.

Those two (or three) power is literally everything he have during chases, he isn't even good at closing gaps, I'm pretty sure he is definitely weak side on all the chasing powers.
He has catch-up ability, he has extremely fast pallet breaks, vaults so that you don't gain distance and you can't even stun him because he's guaranteed a hit.
I understand it's a bit difficult to achieve at the moment, but to call that a weak chase power is, quite frankly, unbecoming of someone with your experience.

Makes you really wonder how many veteran killer players still actually play the game. Reverting the matchmaking logic back to the original strict version even for one week might reveal some unpleasant truths.
I think it's unreasonable to expect people to play a game for even as long as I've played DBD.
I've been a consistent Killer player for over 5 years now, that's a LOT of time.
I'd argue most players playing right now got here after 2020.
