They have literally confirmed that their old data was full of mistakes
Where? I've only heard of them saying that the survival rate was screwed up.

As I literally just said, that information is quite obviously false, nothing is stopping the devs from taking more results and nothing is forcing them to show it to us, they claimed that Spirit was the ONLY outlier and I take their word on that.
So you say that their old data is false, but that this data isn't? Either all of their data can be flawed, or none of it is.

If you get hit by Fragrant Tuft, it's entirely your fault.

Many of the stats that the devs have released have been incorrect, nothing is stopping them from taking another, more careful look at them. Why do you assume that their claim that Spirit is the only outlier is to do with changes to the killers, rather than the statistics?
Because when these stats were taken, Trapper had the highest kill % at Rank 1. Neither have had buffs, or nerfs, therefore, it should be the same.
-
Easy fix, cap the amount of Iri Hatchets at 2. Very rewarding for good players, but still punishing for bad players.

The devs also stated that Spirit was the ONLY outlier in this case so you know :/
The stats were released earlier this year. Neither Trapper nor Spirit has been changed since then.
-
@indieeden7 said:
Not necessarily OP but even the devs themselves have said that she is in fact overperforming.
According to kill ratios, Trapper needs a nerf.

Eh, I'm on Xbox and I get taken out of stealth a ton, especially recently.

Whats there to play against? Just watch a mindless killer stand still and wonder if she's phasing or if shes just standing still. If you run, she phases, if you don't, then she just stops standing still. Shes literally mindless. All she has to do is stand in one place to mindgame. I understand that it takes skill to actually chase and down with the phase, but its really not that hard once you get the hang of it and then she becomes ez mode. Im a P3 spirit so you can't say I dont know how to play against her.
Her glass shards glow when she phases. You can tell if she phases with Spine Chill. The newest update make the phasing sound take priority over the chase music. It isn't that hard.

You can get Rift Fragments via playing. Also, go for the Killer Challenges if you want the Lore, they are easier than the Survivor ones.
No need to spend additional Auric Cells.
I was under the impression that Rift Fragments were awarded for leveling up and are quite difficult to get. I'm afraid I don't have much time these days, and I cannot spend an unholy amount of time on Dead By Daylight, no matter how much I want to.

I completely agree with you, I was just being pretentious about their cooldown and power meter trend the dev team is going through.
TBH with the lore of Legion being more than 1 person I would like to see their power somewhat actually reflect that, not just be a random guy running with a very not dangerous knife.
Of course. Legion is in a similar spot to MoM. Their power, like MoM, is so weird that it can only either be terrible or broken. That is why they NEED a complete redesign.
-
@kcwolf1975 said:
How are they forcing you to buy auric cells?
I could be wrong, but, if you buy the Premium Track of the Archives, the ending challenges are VERY difficult to complete, meaning you will not get the full 1000 Auric Cells you need to buy the Pass again.
One of the challenges is, "Hook Four Survivors in the Basement in a Single Trial." These challenges are only unlocked near the end of the Rift. They seem unreasonably difficult.

Someone playing survivor and getting facecamped isn't necessarily someone who cried for nerfs so your action is outright... Nonsense. But sure go facecamp some random people and ruin their game experience. Punish them for something OTHER people are responsible for.
That makes as much sense as that other guy on this forums who said "I'm always facecamping survivors after having a bad game as survivor".
Besides you realize even numerous highly experienced killer mains including streamers like Otz, Scorpionz, Ohtofu etc. have stated that Spirit it outright overpowered, don't you? It's not just survivors.
Streamers can be wrong. I play both sides, it's a decision I made when I joined the forums, and Spirit certainly isn't overpowered to me. Granted, I run Spine Chill every game, but she isn't that good. She has insane mindgame potential, but so long as you don't do something stupid, you can certainly win them.

They finally release the new event. I actually took a long break from DBD and have played very very scarcely since the Scream/GhostFace update. Ever since the Hollow Blight event was announced I hopped my dumb happy asz back into the dbd life.
They delayed it. And now they finally release it and it's over the weekend of Youmacon. And for all you Michigan nerds like me. Its gonna be a flipping blast.
So i guess i won't have the opportunity to win any of the new skins due to DBD's ridiculously poor event planning (every single event) but that's okay. I'll still be cosplaying as a unhooked p3 Dwight.
I'll see you all in the mist!
Well..probably not since i really only came back for the event and now i can't even enjoy it lol..but nevertheless.
It is still going on for a week. The amount of time you have to play it has not changed.

That's a hard no. He's lower Mid-tier, but in no way bottom of the barrel bad. He has spotted map pressure, okei. He cuts off connected loops/short loops. But you cannot use the arguement "if he isn't good enough" because then one could just say, "If he's good enough" etc.
He is low tier. He has ZERO map pressure. Jungle gyms are still brutal for him. He can shut down Killer shack and cow tree very well. Unfortunately, there is always another loop within running distance and eventually, he will have to reload his bottles.

I hate to be the newsbreaker, but Clown isn't anywhere near the bottom, friend.
Of the tierlist? Yes, he is. He has zero map pressure and his loop cutoff is nice, but, it isn't enough and good Survivors can ignore it.

It's not about tbagging at the exit even if you just escape in the exit you lose all your points if the killer dc's before it registers what you people don't understand is this a serious bug that needs fixing, why are people pointing fingers here is beyond me there is no solution to this other then the developers fixing this bug.
It isn't a bug. Just escape.

I Agree however this issue is more pressing losing all my blood points after a well deserved escape does that seem fair to you or is this not a issue that needs to be fixed right away, atleast with a survivor dc'ing you get points per dc what do I get nothing and lose my offering and item if it was used during that game.
Just leave and don't BM at the Exit Gates.

GhostFace isn't even good. For all the people complaining about his reveal mechanic, he gets screwed over just as much as you do.

No. Because you can't force someone to play against something they don't like. The unreasonable things that make most people DC in the first place (overpowered killers, one hit down addons etc) need to be addressed and fixed first to drastically reduce DCs.
I agree. They really need to revise the overpowered mechanics in this game.
I'm particularly irked by the one-hit-down mechanic: NOED, Tombstone Myers, Huntress with Iridescent Heads (especially when combined with an Infantry Belt). I played a game against the latter mentioned yesterday and it was horrible.
I could talk at length about how disgusting NOED is. It's disheartening to say the least, to play well all game and complete the gens – only to get downed with one hit when opening an exit gate. There's hardly any counter-play.
I'm okay with Myers' tier 3 exposed status mechanic. At least he builds up to tier 3. But I take exception to add-ons that maintain permanent tier 3.
I still don't know how to play against ghost face. I'll be repairing a generator one moment then the next – I'm exposed. GF pops out from behind a rock and downs me with one hit. No terror radius, no warning. I don't know if it’s the noise from the generator or what – but I struggle playing against him.
So, yeah, DC'ing sucks. But I can understand and sympathise with those who DC sometimes.
It is entirely YOUR fault if Myers gets Tombstone. NOED is fair, cleanse totems. They give a ton of BP. Iri Heads are nuts, lock them at 1 hatchet.

There are a LOT of Looking For Group posts, but no, no definite numbers. I would guess, probably more than Steam, less than PS4

None of them. I enjoy all of them, ESPECIALLY the ones' that give me a challenge.

The cooldown refers to the stun you suffer. The power gauge is how long before you can use the power again.

Baby anything is a lot of fun! If someone is obviously very new, I like to scare them, but I’ll let them live. I try to still keep it challenging though (because nobody wants to be handed a win. It feels hollow!). They can wiggle free and such, try to run and hide, hop off a gen when I kick it, Suffer one hooking just for the thrill, but all in all I go easy on em.
You guys all remember your first month surviving. Horrifying, and oh so fun as a result!
My first month, well, my only memory from that time was getting a four man SWF of Claudette's with flashlights. They had one Rank 20 friend and I managed to kill them, then got messaged after the game.
Anyway, that's why I hate Claudette's lol

I mean their game was already ruined once they loaded in and were facing up against a Spirit. There's a reason she's the killer with the highest amount of DCs lately. You don't even have to have toxic behavior as her to get a DC.
She is completely counterable and her base is fair. Prayer Beads needs some tweaks, obviously.
