Also a basekit killer shouldnt be able to easy 4k. Thats how basekit Nurse was like. Now not. Thats totally fine. They just have to fix certain issues mostly related to dedicated server, thats all.
Basekit Nurse was not able to easily 4K. You are confusing easy 4K with easier to 4K with than the rest of the cast.

There's nothing wrong with it as long as you don't get straight up angry if you don't get it in my opinion, at that point it gets borderline unhealthy when stuff like hatch and keys exist. There's certainly people that are like that, just like survivors that get pissy if they die even if they played a great game up until that point 😄
Eh, I'll be disappointed in myself if I don't, but no, not angry. I always strive for improvement, which is why I play Legion at Rank 1, it is certainly a....challenge, to say the least.

considering the devs are balancing around a 2k, I would reccomend not trying to get a 4k every game, they are nice though, so I mean, hey goals.
Anyway onto the actual topic, I serioulsy hope they dont implement this. I would not be surprised if the majority of matches, have at least 2 friends in many of them.
Why not? That's like saying two Survivors should just accept that they will die and not try to get a 4 escape game.
I will always try to get a 4K. Whatever it takes, because that's how I define an ultimate win. Complete domination. It's actually quite fun.
-
I'd like to know.
I always play to get a 4K, it's how I have a good time. But, I would like to know if I'm playing against a SWF or solo's. I don't wanna bring out my A-game against a bunch of poor solo's!
However, I see this getting heavily abused, and, I understand why it cannot be implemented.

Trapper gives me anxiety because I ALWAYS STEP IN THE TRAPS!!!
Hag can jump scare me if I don't expect a trap.
Mirror Myers and GhostFace have also scared me.

Safe pallets, on Haddonfield? Hardly, you can bloodlust those pallets if you absolutely refuse to break them, and most of them can be walked around so you have to stun the Killer to get any use out of them. At least on Hawkins you can vault some of them to help you loop the Killer around corners, that isn’t the case on Haddonfield. The unsafe pallets are half the reason why the houses are so strong.
Most pallets on that map are relatively safe. I can think of three god pallets on that map. That's more than most maps.

Unpopular opinion: Hag if she has mastered her killer is better than even billy's map pressure.
She has limited range. Billy does not, save for three maps.

IMHO
Mother's Dwelling and Rotten Fields are the worst ones.
The biggest maps in the game.
Gens are separated from each other as (lol)! Its a nightmare for walking killers.
Even in Haddonfield sometimes killers can choose some good gens and protect them. But in Mother and Fields I feel hopeless.
Too many loops on Haddonfield, too many safe pallets.

Yeah billy with BBQ is a scary thing to vs, usually when I hear his saw I hop off the gen instinctively to get a head start in case he heads my way. He’s a good one!
Trapper has no map pressure.
Wraith has some.
Nurse has little. By using her blinks, she moves across the map slower than Huntress.
Spirit has decent pressure.
Hag has great pressure.
Demogorgon has good pressure.
Freddy has good pressure.
LeatherFace has no pressure.
Michael has little pressure.
GhostFace has little pressure.
Plague has little pressure.
Doctor has no pressure.
Pig has no pressure.
Clown has no pressure.
Legion has little pressure.
Billy has god-tier pressure.
-
Can't really take this post seriously. If he gets perma Tier 3, it's kind of your fault for feeding him.
-
Billy.
His ability to one-shot and his speed make his map pressure unrivaled.

I don't see why survivors would run a perk thats only useful against one killer when people play more than one killer though.
Spine Chill is good against every Killer tho

You laughed SO HARD, so funny. Play on survivor side and get like 7 spirit games in a row and see if you can ever laugh again.
Try playing Wraith for a challenge, getting BM'd and meme'd on the entire game, then when you finally get one person, they DC and have their friends send you hatemail :/.
Point is, it goes both ways, vicious cycle my friend, vicious cycle.

If we're talking base-kit, than no. If you add add-ons and perks into the mix and a sprinkle of skill than it depends on the Killer mains that use those Killers to make them viable.
That doesn't really solve the issue though if most Killers are add-on reliant or perk reliant to be viable... so buffing base-kit would help a lot, and even some map changes could improve things greatly.
Honestly, if we improve maps, a lot of the problems will be solved.

If you play against spirit 3 times in a row... than the game will get dull fast. As the Killer, it's your job to give the Survivors the challenge they're looking for.
Playing Spirit every game while these Survivors have seen 10 of them in one day... can old real fast. The only reason Killers get more diversity in terms of what Survivors they face... is due to their skill sets and skill in-general.
If you face say... 5 teams of potatoes in a row than things will get dull and you'll be bored. I can't say I haven't been bored by this as well... but when you get that SWF or coordinated team, than things get REALLY good.
Of course people like the opposite, but that's why everyone is different. It honestly boils down to you as a person and what you enjoy as the Killer or Survivor.
Buff more Killers. Most aren't able to be played effectively at rank 1.

I mostly agree. Billy with high curve is also pretty disgusting.
Billy with high curve is just fun. Like Dead Rabbit M&A Myers.
It's honestly scary when he comes around a corner drifting.
Also can't remember if this is true, but insta-saw doesn't even take off half of the charge time for the chainsaw.
-
Well, I'm not too pleased with some of the changes, that being said, I am very glad you are happy and are coming back!

Would argue Spirit is still the best on console. However, yes, Nurse is ROUGH on console, mad respect to anyone who mains her.

-
I'm certainly not the best at this game, nor have I been playing the longest. That being said, I am a Rank 1 player, whatever that means, and I've been here for about a year.
I used to be very toxic, I changed, because I saw what it could do. I chose to try to spread goodwill in the community. I think I've done alright, got banned on Xbox Live though, so that sucks.
Regardless, there are some bad apples, but most of the community simply wants what's best for the game and I think that's what counts.

Weak. His portals are meh at best, his Shred is unreliable.

I think the changes to her lunge add-ons, Prayer Beads and Collision were fine. Don't know why anyone would use the amulet now tho, doesn't seem very good. Lots of downsides and not many positives.

Lery's, Hawkins and the Game.
Those are the only maps where he cannot chainsaw across the map.

Ok come on, the idea of OoO is: When you see the killer's aura he sees yours, right? So why the hell when stealth killers can see that they have OoO, the survivor can't see them? This is unfair, at the very least it should work as with Michael in tier I
Don't run it then. Run Spine Chill instead, it works on everyone, for some reason.

Billy does have massive map pressure which is why he isn't a bad killer, but his map pressure is nowhere near as massive as the spirits. He can't go invisible and does not have a lot of options for mindgames with his chainsaw like spirit does.
I still do not agree with hag, maybe its because I've never gone against a truly good hag. but from what I've seen (of my personal experience and what I analyze of her gameplay strategy) she is still very countered by urban evasion. and her "map wide pressure" is only a thing if said countered traps go off. with the right add-ons she can be strong but I don't think that should put her very high up.
When he can get across the map in 5 seconds, he doesn't need to go invisible.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/104004/oh-no-not-another-my-killer-tier-list
Why would you put Billy and Huntress on the same tier as Spirit? they are good killers but imo Spirit is on par or worse than Nurse
Why would you put Hag in A+ Tier? she isn't a very strong killer, her ability is hard countered by urban, and can be stopped by a flashlight, she is only even above low mid tier when she has iridescent add-ons.
Why is doctor even up that far, his ability is only "good" if you're bad at the game, its very non threatening and on top of it he's essentially a very basic m1 killer.
Any by far the biggest insult, clown is not THAT bad he is nowhere near as bad as leatherface and legion are. He atleast has bottles and add-ons for the bottles are crazy.
These are just my big problems I noticed with this list, This list is very EH, a solid 6/10 almost there.
Billy has better map pressure and an instant down. That makes up for his ability to be looped.
Huntress can be better than either of them, but it depends on the map, so I'd agree there, she shouldn't be so high.
Hag is a very strong Killer with good map pressure and an ability to get hits quickly and guard areas.
Doctor is not good, I'll agree.
Clown is pretty bad, there are enough loops to where his power matters very little, plus he has a finite amount of bottles BUT his add-ons do make him a little better. Still, not on Legion tier.

If you don't want to stalk and struggle with Ghostface, maybe Wraith would be a better option for you. Tru3 is doing so well with him because he is a good killer overall.
On the other hand if you want to stick with Ghostface you should invest time in learning how to stalk with him, because that's his true (over)power. But this takes practice.
His stalk really isn't good. It is situational at best and because Spine Chill is so good right now, it is doubtful you will ever get that insta-down.

Okay yea this is why you got comm banned then. Because I personally have never been comm banned and I avoid saying nasty stuff to people. I've checked my rep on enforcement.xbox.com and I've had a bunch of reports against me but because I've been on Xbox for over 14 years and never been banned nothing happens since I don't say anything ban worthy.
But if you've been banned before and someone reports you, the system will probably auto-ban you since you have a record. Sucks but that's how it works from what I understand.
Just don't reply to people and don't send GG's. Wait for the nice messages and reply to those.
You would think after 5 years without any bans or suspensions, they'd understand, but I suppose not.

I dont think its stubbornness. When playing against a huntress or a killer with spirit fury survivors drop the pallet early (Adapt). Nurse had literally no counterplay at a pallet. Her power boycotted this. At least now survivors can take the fatigue time to lose LoS. How would you have played differently to the original nurse at a pallet?
Breaking LoS isn't the best way to counter Nurse. You can run straight forward and she will take a long time to catch up.

Not nearly as many god loops as maps like The Game, or Hawkins.
But I mainly base it off of the fact almost all killer games on autohaven I end with 4ks or 3ks with any killer I play (minus nurse because I never play her and am bad at her no matter what map). Yet nearly all my survivor games on an autohaven map result in escapes. Again these are autohaven maps minus Azarovs Resting Place because that map is just a 3 gen nightmare if the killer has a brain.
But overall map design, yeah there are a few god loops, but they are never consistent spawns and they almost always spawn with 1 or 2 really good loops, a few decent loops, and then fills the rest with unsafe loops. Meaning those good loops can disappear before the first gen.
The Game is entirely made up of good loops, and one god loop area. Hawkins only has that one area and most of the pallets are unsafe.
Most autohaven pallets are very safe. Jungle gyms and crane pallet especially.
-
If they can eliminate any advantage PC players might have (frames, sensitivity) then I'd be all in. As it is now, no way.
-
@Snow_Lep said:
Prior to the rework I always considered Lèry's balanced. Nice RNG for its layout to make it a battle of reaction and skill between survivor and killer, truly balanced. Now that the map stays the same, probably the autohaven maps, not including Azarovs Resting Place. That map is way too killer sided if the killer has a brain.
I disagree. Most Autohaven maps are very Survivor sided, some spawn with up to 3 god loops.

Ok, so just to set the record clear: right now you think Spirit is underpowered, correct?
With the bug that tells you when she is phasing, yes, I think she is slightly too weak. Only slightly, it wouldn't need to be an immediate change, she is obviously still stronger than most of the cast, however, give her a little something to compensate.
-
@Nobsyde said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/827473#Comment_827473
my point is that you already know when she’s phasing, right? You stated it multiple times in your posts.
based on this, either she already needs a compensation, or if we make the things official instead of a bug she’d been fine.
I’m trying to follow your posts, I’m not expressing what I really think on this alleged nerf.
Yes, if they allow the bug to stay, she needs a small buff in another area.

That's the good thing about an opinion everyone is allowed to have one and yours isn't wrong as it's personal.
All I was saying is someone stating a personal opinion as something the whole playerbase thinks is wrong as their is no way to prove that.
I would say that most of the community agrees Legion is in a bad spot.
I agree that most of the Nurse feedback has been kneejerk, however, her map pressure has been destroyed, that much is not an opinion.

True. I would argue that Spirit has had a positive bug, where her phasing sound overrides the TR music.

Ah, apologies then.

That is not correct.
Here, allow me, the devs can set the wrong target, I think that the kill rate should hover around 60%.

@twistedmonkey said:

The devs do listen to feedback but reactionary feedback like most of the Nurse posts is never good. It's the exact same feedback from some survivors after DS was changed which means you also think they should have listened to that.
It's never good to make post after post saying the same thing over and over as it's nothing more than a rant and not constructive.
While there are a number of people upset on here those numbers only equate to around 0.001% of the playerbase. This is why they need time to gather and review the actual data which will take more than two weeks.
Eh, I would argue the people who think the destruction of Legion was uncalled for are right.

Why would she need a compensation though? If you already rely on it (even if it’s a bug), why the change? Is she underwhelming now :)?
Kinda. She reminds me of the PTB footage, where phasing was directional. I don't think it is a bad change, I think it just needs some compensation for it, as it is a rather large nerf, but a healthy one.
