It's not auto-aim, it's just enhanced animations.
For real, there is no way to turn it off.

Piggy is slow while crouched, Wraith has to uncloak out of stealth while the survivor already is aware of his presence and ghostface is going to really struggle to expose someone with spine chill.
Piggy has a dash, Wraith can use his speed to catch up, GhostFace is rip.

I want my spine chill buff, it works on every other stealth killer, so why not Myers?
Myers is SLOW. He is 105% in Tier 1.

respect mate
Its been quite a ride. The key is to run Spirit Fury and Enduring, plus PGTW and Ruin. Never use your power.

Rank 1.
Legion.
It has been a long and frustrating road, but i am a rank 1 Legion.

You can't change them, but you can change how people think towards them. Albeit quite difficult.
If you cannot change them, then they must be, mostly, correct.
-
Stereotypes exist for a reason. If you want to change them, talk to the people who prove that stereotype.
-
Honestly, GhostFace was better when he had a smaller detection zone. Right when he got buffed after the PTB, he was harder to reveal but if you stared at him, he would go out of stealth.

I mean, facing a Spirit is about almost as unfun as facing Pre-Nerf Nurse.
If both are pro's at their main, they'll just destroy the entire team... Trust me, I've faced some pros tonight, and some bad Spirits, but the point is the Killer is just one of the meta Killers now, so of course people will see her more often. And like Nurse, they'll get tired of facing Pro-Spirits with no room for error.
And that of course, will spark more conversations for a nerf. I don't really think she needs a nerf tbh, but her add-ons like Prayer Beads need to be changed for sure.
But like I said, both are pretty boring to face (Nurse and Spirit) depending on if they destroy your team without a shadow of a doubt or not. Facing a decent Spirit is actually fun, same with Nurse. Since they don't just end the chase in under a minute...
Chases shouldn't be going on for over a minute, period. That's at least 75% of three gens done, or one gen done and another almost done.

Hello! The Fanatical Legion Main here! Yeah I'm fine now! They nicked an artery when they pulled my teeth out (4 teeth, one nick) And it wouldn't stop bleeding for anything! They used so much to get it to stop enough to be able to see to stitch it and it's fine now! Now my mouth feels like Susie's mask! Have fun in the Fog and thank you for being concerned! <3
Yikes, makes nervous about getting my wisdom teeth pulled, but I am very relieved to hear that you're okay.

I think you are being summoned, seeing as this is a Legion thread.

Fair enough, but the main reason it's unlikely from my point of view is because killers keep camping and tunneling.
I believe we have discussed this before, however, I'll briefly restate my stance. Tunneling is a byproduct of most Killers inability to apply adequate pressure. Tunneling is the same mindset as gen rushing, "I'm going to do my objective as fast as possible so that I have a better chance of winning."
I think the game would be better off if the Killers didn't need to tunneling to apply a lot of pressure and if Survivors felt that it was worth it to stay in the game longer.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/98257/balancing-around-50-kill-rate
Because even though you "can" pip if you die, many times you won't, and many times you de-pip. And while 50% is the goal, in practice the actual survival rate is closer to 40%. So there's nothing intrinsically unfair here.
Besides, this is all moot anyway, because it is PROVEN that you can pip with 0 kills as a killer. Look at Legion. It's easy sauce for him. And he's not the only one. If you don't camp, don't tunnel, hit everyone equally, bust gens, etc. you will pip even if you don't manage to kill anyone in the end.
I don't understand why all of a sudden there's this new killer propaganda where you need 4K's to pip. It is 100% false misinformation.
Because the idea that you will hook everyone twice, stop gens from popping quickly, get a ton of hits and get a ton of chases, is frankly unlikely.

A depip would be unfortunate, but would likely be more indicative of an oversight in the emblem system (things like one shot downs only counting for chaser once). A safety pip would be expected, though. You did draw, after all. You didn't win or lose, so you probably shouldn't be pipping from that. You'd need to perform better than expected to pip.
Assuming two people escape, gens went by fairly quickly. Gatekeeper will be Gold at best.
Chaser simply depends on the Killer, someone like Legion will get Iri Chaser very easily but someone like Billy will not, as you mentioned. So it really depends on the Killer.
As for Devout, you will likely get Gold. Two sacrifices will get you 6 points and assuming you have hooked the other two Survivors twice, which is a best case scenario, you will get 8 points.
Malicousness, well, again it depends on the Killer, however, it is fairly likely you will get Gold. It isn't terribly hard to get.

This made me laugh far more than it should have, considering I just got out of the ER after 6 hours.

-
2 killed 2 escape model doesn't work that well. If you all play perfectly and you get two kills, the Killer will likely de-pip or black pip.

They are not breaking Twitch TOS. They do not have to put Sponsored in the title, they must only indicate that they are being sponsored, which they do, as many if not all of them display the Fog Whisperer logo.

You're asking one of the most outspoken survivor main on this forum... Their answer would probably something like "killers don't need buffs they need nerfs" or something.
That said, I think the biggest issue might be the maps and the gen rushing.
The weakest killer all have a common issue; lack of map pressure and/or mobility.
Two ways to address that across the board would be to either rework maps to allow killers to travel through them efficently, or add mandatory second objectives that will slow down gen progression so the killers don't require such map pressure to be good.
It is a delicate thing though, because it would not take much to make killers way too strong and destroy the balance of the game, such as it is.
Killers should feel like they always have a chance to get their kills, and survivors should feel like they always have a chance to escape. It is not easy to balance but adding depth and skill cap to this stale meta would be a step forward in my opinion.
Regardless of who they play, I still value their opinion and I wish to hear it.

Unfortunately I am not at you level, not even close. I do read and understand what you said, so at high level tunneling the first one means almost always a total defeat for survivors? Didn't know that and thanks for sharing, I should probably change the title adding: ..... For beginner!
Haha thanks for the answer
Ps: i am not gonna say this but I am curious to try what you said... But I never said that! 🤣
Yes, at red ranks, tunneling is often the best way for a Killer to win.

While there is some merit to what you say, it's not a complete equivalence, because camping and tunneling especially deny a player the opportunity to play. Genrushing doesn't deny anyone anything (except the killer getting 4K's maybe). Killer still gets to play, even if he loses.
The fact that genrushing can be done in this game is frankly also a problem. I imagine that the game was originally envisioned by BHVR to not play as a genrushing game but as a sort of atmospheric creep around and try to finish the gens game, not one where everyone is run and gun kill and gen rushing.
I agree completely.
I would greatly enjoy seeing both removed.

Why so? The forum is here to have an exchange of ideas, so please why would you ignore this post? Thanks for the answer
If Survivors swarm around a hook, I will stay there. If the hook is in my patrol path, I'll stay near it. I will never allow a free unhook.
If a Survivor runs right in front of me, I will down them, regardless of when they were hooked. If I feel like tunneling one Survivor, I will. It is simply efficient.

Okay brother, whatever you need to believe. I guess survivors just shouldn’t touch gens.

Gen rushing doesn’t exist. If gens are getting completed too quickly then the killer isn’t being efficient enough with ending chases fast. Gen rush was a term created by bad killers who would rather blame the one objective survivors have in a trial instead of looking inward and figuring out how to be better. I am a killer main by the way.
Incorrect. When a Killer is legitimately unable to apply enough pressure, i.e. Wraith, it is a massive problem. Survivors trying to get out of the trial as fast as possible is simply a smart play. The longer the match goes on, the stronger a Killer gets.
Tunneling is the exact same thing, it is a Killer trying to be efficient.
Also, saying, "Killer main btw" doesn't help you.
-
@Mochan said:
It's a good perk, but it's actually a horrible perk because it underscores fundamental design flaw problems with the game.
A perk like BT should be baseline across the entire game, because camping and tunneling should be discouraged as much as possible.
Camping and tunneling is the exact same as gen rush. Just Killers being efficient as possible, nothing wrong with that.
-
I don't know how you can have a real problem with BT. For Survivors, it's a good perk and for Killers it isn't oppressive.
-
I got reported for body blocking a Claudette into a corner and chainsawing her. She immediately DC'd and messaged me for hours, without getting a response from me once.
It was fun!
-
To play as: Legion. He has so much potential to be very good, but its just miserable playing and getting punished for using your power.
To play against: Freddy with maximum slowdown. Swing Chains, Thana and DL. It's just rough.
-
This isn't even good bait...
-
*flashbacks to machine gun builds
Yeah, gonna take a HARD pass on that.

@Mochan said:
A lot of people like to look at this from the "perfect play" angle, but that is nonsense, because nobody plays perfectly all the time. Especially not a group of 4 people. And before we go any further, the official stats that BHVR provided us proves it.
The real power is in the hands of the one who people have to react to.
If a killer is walking to a gen, does the survivor have the choice to stay on the gen? No. If he does he dies.
If a killer chooses to camp a hook, do the survivors have the choice to go for the save? No. If they do it becomes a bloodbath. (even with BT it's an iffy proposition)
The game revolves around the killer because the killer is the power role. Survivors must play around the killer, not against him. Or it quickly becomes a massacre.
Does that mean the killer will always win? No. The power role can lose, the power role can be made fun of. But let's not go brain dead and think that the survivors are the actual power role.
90% of the community disagrees with you.

Balance is 2 survivors escape on average.
To killer players, that's losing. So they say survivors are favored to win.
And one role has flashlights and firecrackers. The other role puts people on meathooks. Who is yhe power role hmm.
2 kills is a de-pip for Killers and very little BP.

Then they were not targeting.
Deal with the fact that they only caught you.

Survivor.
For 90% of the Killers, the following is true. If the Killer plays perfectly and the Survivors play perfectly, the Killer will lose. They will not kill any of them. With old Nurse (without add-ons) Spirit and Billy, if you played perfectly, you would get at least two.

Survivors dc because of how game changing it is, and how it’s typically not going to be a fun game, and tbh they’re right to think of it like that, a ebony takes out a third or more of the work a killer should do, and they sacrifice nothing game wise, as it’s a offering with no negative effects, and don’t need to use a add on slot. Also it being red has no excuse for it being that game changing, as I said there’s no negative effect like the majority of the strong red add ons, which even then those add ons are still considered by many people broken/op, and it doesn’t take up a add on slot and its a offering
If you one hook everyone, you either black pip or de-pip and get zero BP.
