Eh...NOED rewards bad killers for not doing their job honestly
And the same thing goes for the survivors like Deliverance
Though the difference is that you HAVE to work to get deliverance
NOED should stay the same but the only change is:
You gain a token up to 4/5/6 when hooking survivors and when all the gens are done NOED activates, And a token is consumed when hitting a survivor, Hitting a survivor will put them instantly in the dying state
And if deliverance just gave you a free unhooking ability without having to work for it, Killers would be crying lol.
'Eh...NOED rewards bad killers for not doing their job honestly'
Wrong.
The Killer's job is to kill Survivors. And no one but angry Survivor mains are claiming this has failed if all 5 gens pop.
It's a fake, arbitrary limit Survivor mains invented to have something to whine about and point at to say 'See! NoED is bad because it rewards a Killer who failed!'
Except a Killer has not failed until you escape. Not if 1 gen pops. Not if 5 gens pop. Not if the gates are open. Stop with these 'rewards Killers failing' lies.
@Product said:
Noed should only activate when the exit gates are opened
No. Then Survivors would never die to it, since the exit is 3 feet away from them when it activates.

Stop pretending that EVERY lobby is SWF though.
I assume every lobby is SWF and play accordingly.
Because when I don't; I get steamrolled, and then disrespected in endgame chat by a group that thought it took skill to use OP With Friends.
-
Dang. I was hoping they had removed SWF. They balance Killers as if it does not exist, and then SWF sweat squads EZ mode the game. 😥

Do you have any idea just how easy it is to beat a team of solo's? Even the best? Co-ordination is as important for survivors as slowing the game down is for killers. I actually spent months dodging solo teams because of how ######### boring and easy they always are even without solo-predation. Full sweaty parties may be an issue, but solo teams are far more common and have far lower escape rates than killers have kills Vs sweat squads.
And yes, I think it's a good thing that killers can't mass slug people and leave them to bleed out with a 100% success rate.
I'm saying SWFs are the reason Knockout sucks. Why do you keep thinking I'm talking about solos?
This game was created with the idea that Survivors would have an information blackout and be unable to communicate.
Do you know why Survivors have 2 emotes and 0 voice lines like 'Come here' or 'Help me'? Because they were supposed to be scared of making noise & drawing the Killer's attention.
Now, with SWF, we have voice comms completely ruining the information blackout. But BHVR refuses to admit this, claims SWFs aren't a problem, and pretends the first half of the game was not designed around the old lack of information a Survivor would have.
And they keep pretending this, and balancing as if SWF does not exist, and wonder why Killers are unhappy. It's because the game works on the premise that Survivors can't communicate (hence why Solos have more trouble than SWFs), and then they do communicate.
Imagine what the game would be like without SWF; Survivors having to guess where the Killer is and what they are doing. Wondering if it's safe to do a gen or save a hooked person. Wondering if that hooked person will save them in turn.
Or...SWF up, tell your friends where you are & what you are doing at all time. Tell them what the Killer is doing, who they are, if they placed traps, if they are hiding near the hook. Oh yeah, and if they're at your gate, so your friend can open the far gate.
You know; info they were literally never meant to have.
That is why the game is struggling with its identity; because it's balanced as if SWF does not exist, and Knockout is a perk that so accurately shows proof of that.
-
@MadLordJack said:

Except it's insanely easy to beat solo teams due to a glaring lack of co-ordination, with Knockout being the perfect exemplar of why SWF is very much necessary.
Really? You're actually saying SWF shutting down whole perks because of microphones is a counter? Like, a needed counter?
It's BS, that using discord can shut down stealth Killers and certain perks. But we can't remove SWF, so BHVR needs to balance around cheat with friends.
But for that to happen, they would first have to admit that SWFs with microphones are unbalanced. And they won't, so...🤷
-

Think of it this way. There are situations where using your chainsaw is a bad idea. Knockout tied to your basic attack means you at least get a little something extra using your mallet.
Except you don't, because SWF & microphones.
Even people who 'are only joking around' and 'never tryhard' will tell their buds where they are knocked down.
It's yet more glaring proof the devs never meant for Survivors to have mics.
-
Just because the devs don't tell you the action they took, does not mean reports aren't working. 🤷♂️
Many games do it this way, to avoid encouraging witch hunts or mass reporting trolls. It always surprises me when people claim 'reporting don't work' just because the mods/devs don't tell them, step by step, what they did with the report.

you could say that to all the killers there stories don’t matter. It’s not just about jumpscares yes it’s how you die but the game builds terror as you try to survive cause in all the games there’s characters all around you and trying to fight them all off or conserving power builds tension and fear.
The only fear is 'when will I get screamed at next?'
Sorry, I just think FNAF is a lazy game. I mean, Scott hit it big with FNAF, and good on him. He kept trying after failing, and he made it big. 👍️
But the 'scares' in FNAF are about as deep as those early-2000's prank videos people would send by e-mail, where they tell you to look closely at an image because 'Something is wrong in the room', and 3 minutes later: *SUDDEN NOISE AND IMAGE!*
-
@Chilli_man2400 said:
I love how everyone says it’s not scary cause it’s jump scares. WRONG!! That’s not the true horror of FNAF what makes it scary is the atmosphere and how you can’t move you decide your fait. Do you want to play it safe and lock the doors but lose power faster or conserve power but risk getting killed that’s what makes FNAF scary cause your Vulnerable you can’t fight back. You decided how you play. The environment is scary cause being alone with these giant ass robots coming after you and in the 3rd game a dead serial killer stalking you in a haunted walk through? Seriously it’s not adult?
we have a story we’re a guy murdered many kids and dies by the way he hid the bodies then comes back as a rotting body in a suit trying to kill. But nah that’s to interesting it’s bad cause kids play it and it’s jumpscares
The story does not matter. The only 'scares' are jumpscares, which are the laziest form of 'scare' because they just surprise you.
The story could be the most amazing story in the world, but the games are still basic jumpscares, because making real terror is hard.
-
FNAF is not scary. It's jump scares. Anyone can flash an image and a loud noise on a screen to make people react.
That's why horror movies suck; it's always SUDDEN NOISE AND MOVEMENT! and writers/directors think that equals scary.
I'd never buy a FNAF DLC, myself.
-
Tunneling and camping and slugging are not an issue.
The 'issue' behind is that a Survivor died, and instead of learning from their mistakes, they blame a tactic, call it 'unfair', and demand it be removed so they don't have to improve.
-
NoED is fine. It does not need changing or altering, and it does not 'reward bad play'. If your fix is based on that fallacy, then you have started off on the wrong foot. You're trying to fix a problem that does not exist.
Again; NoED is fine.

I said it many times. Survs deserve a perk that activates at egc and give them haste status to them and the killer would need 3 hits to put you in dying state. 1 of the chests can’t have a mark and if the killer hit it the perk deactivate. So it has counterplay too and it won’t be broken, as killer say about noed. You are playing only with 3 perks until egc and it can be deactivated
No. Survivors don't need some equivalent of NoED. That's not how balance works.
And they don't need something that gives them all a free health state; that's 4 free health states of 4 Survivors last until Exit Gates are powered.
And the Killer has less time than the Survivors to do something to 'turn off' a Survivor perk, given that Survivors can clear a match in 5-7 minutes.
Sorry, but this idea is not good. Nor is it balanced.

That's easier said than done.
It's still difficult to do all totems, even with perks that'll help you with that. Your solo queue teammates are unpredictable.
Ok? If doing totems was consistently easy, then totem perks would suck. 🤷♀️

Because survivors manage to get to the endgame and wow, look at that, NOED.
It's a solo queue destroyer.
But they can do totems and wow, look at that, no NoED.
You don't deserve the unhook just because you got to the endgame. The Killer can still kill you until you leave. No amount of made up rules about the 'endgame' changes the fact that you did not win until you escape.
-
Survivors should have limited, replenishing Evil Within.
IE: It can run out (to prevent stalking 1 Survivor), but it slowly refills when not being drained, after a pause.

That's not the point T, the issue is that it's unfair to have to leave a survivor behind because of NOED.
Really? It's unfair that the Killer is getting a kill because he brought an endgame perk and made use of it?
Or are you just feeling like you're entitled to that save, because...reasons?

Alright tunelling doesn't exist gen rushing doesn't exist yet those two are most complained and discussed subjects wow what a shame they've been fighting about non existing things
Exactly.
'Genrushing' = Survivors doing their job as quickly as possible. This should not be a Surprise to Killers.
'Tunneling' = Killing efficiently. It takes 1 hit to down a wounded Survivor instead of 2 for a Healthy. This is the best way to cut down on Survivors doing gens. This should not be a surprise to Survivors.
Do I think gen speeds cannot be altered? No. I am well aware that I (and I can't read minds, so I can't speak for other Killers) would tunnel less if I did not feel a time crunch from the word 'Go'. Left alone, Survivors can do gens in around 5-6 minutes. Whereas a Killer needs at least double that time to 12 hook.
So I think gen speeds go too fast. But I don't think it's 'genrush'. Survivors could need 10 minutes to do gens, and they would still 'genrush' if they did them as quickly as possible, according to the definition of the term.
Therefore; 'genrush' is another made up label for 'The opposing team is trying to quickly win'. Just like 'tunneling'.
I'm no hypocrite; I firmly believe both 'genrush' and 'tunneling' are just BS invented to complain that someone is losing. 😁
-
There's always been entitlement.
Survivors say you can't 'camp' or 'tunnel' at 4 gens, meaning you can't try to win until a gen pops.
But then other Survivors claim Survivors have won, or the Killer has 'failed', if all 5 gens pop. Like, Killer's are supposed to stop trying once 5 gens pop? What about the Exit Gates? Just supposed to let them open because the Handbook says so?
So that means Killers have 4 gens to kill everyone, because they can't try before 1, and can't try after 5.
Killers are also supposed to give the hatch to the last living Survivor. This is not 'if you feel like it', no; some Survivors expect it. They will get angry if you kill them instead, like the Killer broke some hard & fast rule.
But how often do you hear 'I was the last Survivor alive, so I gave the Killer a kill'? Nope! It's only expected of the Killer to have forced charity!
And only Killers can be 'sweats' and 'tryhards'. How often do you hear a Survivor call a Killer a sweat? Or he 'tried hard for that 4K' and 'Why do you expect a 4K? Be happy with 3!' When balance is addressed.
But you never hear Survivors claim 'We should be happy for a 3E!' or 'Man, we really sweat for that 4E!' It's more 'Killers should stop trying' mindsets.
And tunneling! A Survivor is unhooked, has BT, and bodyblocks me. So I just wait for his BT to run out (They tend to stop bodyblocking when the timer runs low) and downed him. And thus, I was a 'tunneler'! I mean, he stood in my face, but I was expected to let him go, because Survivor Rulebook Chaper 4 states 'A Killer can never hit the same Survivor twice in a day'.
And, to bring up 'camping'; I love when I hook a Survivor and his friend is 6 feet away, waiting for me to walk away. Instead, I chase them around the hook, because they don't want to leave it. Yet I am 'camping' because I did not give them the free hook they demand they get!
And since they want that unhook so badly, they do expect the devs to alter the base game mechanics to give it to them. How this will affect the Killer means nothing to them.
Oddly enough; I never hear Killers seriously talk about 'gen camping' and 'gen rushing' (Except when using it to erroneously talk about gen speeds being a bit too fast). because most Killers are aware that 'genrushing' = Survivors trying to quickly win. So they don't complain about their opponent doing their goal.
It's such a mass of double standard screaming, where Survivors are trying their hardest to force the Killers to play by made up rules, and even demand the devs alter the game to enforce those rules!

Tunneling is when a killer targets a survivor for the sole reason of making their match miserable.
Now if you want to tunnel, you are 100% aloud, I don’t understand why you keep defending it since there is nothing to defend. Survivors will hate you for anything.
Do you get tilted when survivors gen rush you and flashlight click/taunt you?
No, tunneling is a made up label Survivors apply to make it sound like they are being bullied, in an attempt to force the devs to handicap Killers.
I get accused of tunneling every other match, and I certainly am not trying to ruin anyone's fun, so your little definition falls apart right there. The whole point of the joke was to apply the whinging Survivors do to the Killer point of view, to show how stupid it is.

I don't see how you could call it anything but rewarding failure. You failed at killing survivors so you get rewarded by BHVR just giving you kills.
Plus NOED is the ultimate face camping perk in the game.
The Killer has not failed until the Survivors escape alive. This is not rocket science.
If the Killer can still kill you, then he has not failed.
I don't see how people cannot understand this. If the Killer can still kill you, then he has not failed.
Survivor's bunk about 'failing to kill' just because 5 gens popped is nothing but hot air. It has no weight behind it. No one but Survivors believe this, and nothing in the game says this is the case.
If Survivors can still die; The Killer has not failed yet.
-
No. Because everyone dies, so it's not taking the game hostage.

No, that is why I try to choose my words carefully.
I really need to stop interjecting in these noed discussions. First play whatever you want, and ######### someone else's opinion. But, let's not act like killing before the gens are done isn't the old school Killer's goal.
It seems newer Killers see noed differently. I personally don't judge anyone's perk or tactics. But, after 4 years in the game, I prefer perks that will let me 4k before I need No ones even dead yet.
My point is, if you play it every game, every build, every killer, well you are a bit boosted .
I was not trying to put words in your mouth, directly, apologies.
I was simply pointing out the myriad of excuses against NoED, and other rules Survivors have invented, and putting them together to show just how much Survivors are trying to tie Killer's hands. Something that may not be seen when folks view each suggestion piecemeal.

Look, I have played so long, and been on these forums so long, that I have had this noed discussion ad nauseum.
The simple truth is, if you play this in every build, every game, IMO, then you concede that more often then not, Survivors are going to finish the gens on you.
Or else, why not play other perks to help you ensure that they don't power the gens?
Look, play what you want, but like DH for survivor, you didn't outplay, you outperked.
Heaven forbid someone play for the back half of the match, right?
I mean, Survivors get pissed off if a Killer 'tryhards' before a gen pops, too.
So what are Killers supposed to do? Not kill until a gen pops, but make sure not to use NoED fir all 5 popping, because Survivors have declared the match is over by then!
So Killers have a 4-Gen window to kill without being 'sweats' or using a 'crutch perk'; Don't kill before Gen #1 (tryharding), but also don't kill after gen #5 (Survivors have deemed 5 gens a 'win')! 🤦♂️

It doesn't have reasonable counterplay. Of course you CAN disable it but it's extremely unreasonable to have to cleanse 5 dull totems just to disable 1 hex perk. They literally nerfed Undying because it was unreasonable to have to cleanse up to 4 totems to disable 1 hex perk. NOED's power only functions off of the survivor's abilities to do totems, it has nothing to do with the skill of the killer. They also nerfed Ruin a long time ago because it was based solely off of the survivor's abilities to hit great skill checks, a killer's skill had nothing to do with it. NOED falls under the same philosophy as both of those original perks because it...
A. relies on the skill of the survivors to cleanse totems, not the killer
B. It is unreasonable to have to cleanse 5 totems for 1 hex perk, like old Undying.
No survivor is ever entitled to win, they just want perks that require skill and reasonable counterplay. NOED is neither of those and I don't even want NOED to fundamentally change as a perk, it just needs to have better counterplay. We just want a fair game.
It's unreasonable for 4 people to cleanse 1 totem each, then one person to cleanse a second? Bunk.
That's nothing more than an excuse that says 'I don't want to cleanse totems, so nerf the one perk that stops me from slamming gens'.

Losing all the gens is the final step until the survivors escape through the exit gates. Of course the killer has not lost yet but they are in a losing position. In an F1 race you don't give a speed boost to the racer in last place because they deserve to be in last place, they're losing. NOED is the equivalent of a Mario Kart item that you get in last place to boost you up to 3rd or 4th. It doesn't belong in a competitive game and if you've lost all the gens you should have to come back with your own skill, not a single perk that can legitimately grant you a win for free.
Except the perk can be turned off before it every turns on. And this game is not 'competitive', not by a long shot, rofl.
NoED is fine. Survivors have more come from behind perks than they can equip, but Killers have ONE come from behind perk and suddenly Survivors are up in arms. Almost like they feel entitled to win.

Dead Hard doesn't grant you a free win lmao if there are no more resources around you it won't work and half the time it doesn't even work because of the servers. You have to actually finish all of the gens for Adrenaline to even work, it rewards you for getting that far into the game. NOED rewards a killer for LOSING all of the gens, if your survivor team never makes it to the end game Adrenaline will never work. Even the worst killer in the world will get value out of NOED because it requires you to lose all of the gens for it to work.
You said 'Middle finger perk'. Those perks I named are middle fingers to the Killer.
Also; losing all the gens is just a step in the game. The Killer has not lost until the Survivors actually cross the exit line. Why is this so hard for Survivors to understand?
Losing all 5 gens does not mean the Killer has lost, or deserves to lose the rest of the match! This is an arbitrary event Survivors claim to pretend NoED is flawed!
I will keep saying it every time someone brings up that bunk about 'Losing all 5 gens'. Who cares if 5 gens pop? The game is not over. Survivors don't win just because all 5 gens pop. Stop pretending 5 gens popping has any meaning.
It. Means. Nothing.
-
You act like they just wave their hands and a fix exists, and they are just waiting to launch it.
They have to fix it before they can launch the fix.
-
@gendoss said:
Why would you want a middle finger perk in the game at all? I don't want any perks on the survivor side to exist just as a middle finger to the killer because that's unfair and stupid. You are only making more of a case to get NOED significantly reworked.
'I don't want any perks on the survivor side to exist just as a middle finger to the killer'
Dead Hard and Adrenalin come to mind right away...
-
No, thank you. Survivors don't need yet another free escape. You have doors, and you have the hatch; you don't need some other magic door that appears in the gate to let you out if they're not opened.
-
There is none, because why have one? If Survivors saw a different animation from normal; they would cancel disarming the trap.
And if it was faster than normal, traps would disarm faster.
So it's just the same animation as normal.
-
@Clevite said:

It sure as hell doesn't reward success.
So? Just because it does not reward success does not mean it has to reward failure. This is not an either/or result.
NoED is just a tool to help a Killer win. Maybe it salvages a game going south, or maybe it was a Killer planning ahead because they like being a threat after 5 gens pop; Since the Killer has not failed until everyone escapes, it's really up to how a Killer uses it that defines it.
But none of those definitions are 'rewards failure', since the Killer's only fail state is 'people escaped'.
The 'rewards failure because 5 gens' BS is like a Killer saying 'Ok! Survivors fail if I sacrifice 2 of them! Stop doing gens; you already failed!' 🤦♂️
-
Even if you don't want to hear it; tunneling is a strategy. All this bunk about how it 'ruins the game' or is 'unfun' or 'removes someone' needs to stop.
If I play a battle royale; should I not shoot someone because they did not find a gun? Clearly, they won't find it fun to be removed so early, and they can't fight back. Should I think of their fun and stop trying to win? 🤷♂️
And if I see 2 people, and one is wounded, they will take half the time to down as someone healthy. Why should I stop playing optimally just because Survivors demand it?
Do you look at a regressing gent at 80% and go 'The best play would be to finish this gen! But that would be unfun for the Killer! I'll go do a 0% gen!'
No? Because you want to play optimally? Well so does the Killer. You don't get to decide how the Killer plays. ✌️
-
The problem with the view of most people who complain about NoED is that they think it 'rewards failure'. This could not be more wrong.
See, the Killer did not fail just because 5 gens popped; the Exit Gates still need to be opened, and the Survivors still need to actually leave the match. At any point between those two things; the Killer can still hit and hook and kill people.
But, the way I see it, most of those who dislike NoED know this. They just don't want to accept it. So they invent some arbitrary event; the Exit Gates being powered, and then claim it's somehow a fail state for Killers.
In this way, they have just created an argument against NoED; that it 'rewards failure'. They're wrong, but they will stick to it, because it's the only method to attack NoED that they have.
Because, and let's face it, their other argument of 'It has no counter' is an utter lie, given the number of anti-totem perks and items that exist.
So they tried to invent another flaw with the perk; the 'rewards failure' tripe. It's also a lie, but they keep trying.
-

So can we buff how much gens regress when a killer kicks it? Reduce the regression from pop if you need to.

Yeah. I love how it takes Killers 3 seconds to kick a gen, but Survivors take 1 frame of animation to stop it.
I think the devs once said Survivors were not supposed to be able to gen-tap like they do, but then shrugged and let it continue, because Survivors need to be happy. 🤷♂️
-
Imagine thinking you've 'won' because the gens popped.
I mean, there's still the exit gates to open, and you still have to escape, and the Killer can still kill you up until you leave the match...But sure; you have 'won' because you popped gens.

Maybe.... idk as long as it could be muted. The problem in Hood was there was a mute function but it only worked on players who had mics turned on. So you could mute all but then someone could turn their mic on at some point in the match and start BMing and you had to go back to the menu/player screen and mute them individually. Really annoying.
I like the idea of the auto-ban as long as it's implemented properly. Like killer reports should have more merit because obviously there's only one killer for every 4 survivors. It should extend to survivors as well so that killers can have some peace of mind that toxic survivors are being banned just as much as toxic killers.
What's great about it if they implement it properly is that according to the polls most players play both sides, and this extends to toxic players as well. Toxic survivors are also the toxic killers in most cases. It's messed up why some people are like that but every society has a percentage of people on the dark triad spectrum I guess. What that means if they implement the auto-ban properly is that it could actually get rid of toxic players on both sides.
Sounds like Hood implemented it wrong. Oof. Yeah, muting should be right on the esc screen; just a mic icon next to each person's name that can be clicked in under a second.
I think the auto ban system COULD work, but they really have to take into account what they see on these very forums; so many people saying 'If I see camping/tunneling/slugging/genrushing/whatever; I report, because my feelings matter more than the rules'
Which is why I'm worried. Imagine if 3 different teams of 4-man SWFs get salty and report a Killer for 'playing toxic' just because he won. Oof. 😣

Insidious isn't entirely meme. If you're using to camp, then yeah it's garbage but so is camping imo. Tier 3 insidious can actually be helpful with mind games around pallet loops if you play your mind game correctly but for the most part it's pretty useless.
My problem with VoiP in the game is that people can force their annoyingness onto you. As long as it had an option to mute all at any time, maybe, but even then. I was playing Hood: Outlaws for a while and they have VoiP in-game and it's so annoying because people trash talk their own team or try to take on the mantle of leader and start ordering people around. Some people straight up just BM into the mic at high volume for no reason other than be annoying. It's not fun.
Maybe, but other games have VoIP and work fine. The devs would need a proper report system, so people who BM into mics or use them for verbal abuse are quickly punished.
That said; the 'auto ban' system they announced is the worst idea for this game, ever. So many Killers are going to be gang-reported for doing anything Survivors dislike. :P

DS might be bit of a stretch but bond and kindred are a no-brainer. It's the same info swf get for free and would allow the devs to make balance changes that effect swf.
Yeah, I can agree with that, but Insidious would have to be changed. It's already trash against SWFs, which is why it's a meme perk.
I feel like Insidious would still be meta, if SWF, with it's voice comms, was not added to the game.
The devs should just add VoIP and rebalance stealth perks & killers around it. It would be the easiest way to balance. Instead, they keep pretending voice comms are not the sole reason SWFs are the apex predators

Honestly, I think 99% gates should be removed. If a gate is stopped in the 86%-99% range, it regresses to 85%.
Numbers can be changed, but watching a Survivor lick a gate & it pops open is bloody annoying & dodges every end game perk Killers have.
-
DS should never be made basekit. Imagine the new 4 perk meta if DS was a 5th perk.

Why do Survivors complain about NoED when they genrush/ignore bones? 😁
-
Survivors need to learn how to play around Killer powers instead of demanding every Killer that wins be nerfed until they can't win anymore. 🤷♂️

omfg lmao. If you are in a race and you are in last place you are losing. How clearer can I be? How can you be winning if you are in last place? The race is not over but in an F1 race the person in last place doesn't get a speed boost. You know why? Because they don't reward the person who is in LAST PLACE. He deserves to lose the race because he is losing.
But they don't say he lost until the race is over. They don't tell him he's already lost until everyone crosses the finish line, and they don't tell him he can't pass anyone anymore. If he somehow makes it to first place; he still wins.
You seem unable to grasp the fact that the Killer can still use all the tools at his disposal to turn a loss into a win. How hard is that to understand? Just because 5 gens popped does not mean the Killer is not allowed to use his perks to still kill you.

Bro you didn't read what I said lol, he is in the losing position. He has not lost the game yet but he is losing.
But he has not lost yet. The game is still on.
And some Killers pick the perk solely to have an end-game perk. It's called 'planning ahead' not 'playing badly'.
And it's not 'free kills' since the Killer still has to find, chase, and hit you.
And it's not 'No counterplay' because you can do bones, with any of the perks and items that help you find and cleanse totems.
Any other buzzwords Survivors want to sling around to pretend NoED needs a nerf that it clearly does not?

You are losing the game when you lose all gens. It doesn't matter what you say, the killer lost 5 gens and the survivors are almost escaped, that's losing the game. NOED is the equivalent of a Mario Kart item that you use when you're in last place and it boosts you up to second or first place.
Losing the game is when the game is over. You don't get to invent new loss events.
Until you leave, the Killer can kill you, and has not lost yet. Whatever spin you put on it literally does not matter, because the game does not say you won, or escaped, if you are still in the match.
So NoED does not reward a losing Killer, since he has not lost until the game is over. That's how facts, and this game, work. Sorry. 🤷♀️
