No, I'd rather see maps like Dead Dawg Saloon and the Yamaoka Estates reworked, they are a pain to BOTH sides.
-
Good luck in your next game <3, hope to see you back some day.

I think from the killer perspective it looks like you are using left hand, but from survivor POV it is right hand
No #########, Sherlock. 🤣🤣🤣

I use shadowborn on every killer. The fov is great
Yeah, the FOV you get from Shadowborn should be base tbh and Shadowborn should be reworked into something new. The perk is just so good for getting rid of the regular FOV which feels horrible to me.
-
I think it's actually one of the better maps for survivors. After playing it for a bit as both sides, I kinda get the loops on it, I think it's really strong with the right survivors.

So I know a lot of people love to play as a certain survivor or killer but some also like to mix it up.
For killer, I’d say I play as Michael the most. As I just find his ability and play style really fun. But I also play a lot of Legion, Pig, Clown, Huntress and Trapper. I’m trying to learn other killers because I don’t want to get used to playing a certain way and I feel like you should try every killer out at least once. I would love to master Nurse but I know it’s not going to be the easiest as I play on console. But I had a match the other day to test her abilities and I was surprised at how many blink hits I got, I just need to stick at it.
With survivors my most used female is Meg and my most used male is David. But I do tend to switch it up a lot as there’s so many I like. Once the new DLC drops I’ll be playing as Toblerone Head and Cheryl a lot.
Mike is definitely one of the most fun killers.
For me though, I main Hag, Spirit, Oni and Myers.
For survivor, Kate, definitely.

How cute, you learned a big fancy word. Well, learned might be a misstatement as you're using it incorrectly. A strawman argument is when you misrepresent somebody's argument in order to make it easier to debate them. Too bad for you I actually knew that. What you were specifically quoted saying was an agreement with the statement that self care is a killer perk. Now anybody with half a brain knows immediately that statement is completely wrong. The irony here is that you actually strawmanned yourself. You completely changed your own argument in order to make it sound like you didn't say something completely stupid to begin with so you could have an easier time debating. Yes, all the stuff in your response makes sense. But that would be like me responding "Omg, I can't believe you would say something so homophobic. Gay people absolutely do not need to be segregated from the rest of the community just to make you feel comfortable. They're perfectly capable of being part of everyday society without cause anarachy." Yes, that statement makes perfect sense but sure as hell isn't what I've said before.
And btw, when I told those players I decimated earlier that they should have healed more, they literally said that self care was pointless because it helps the killer more than anything else. So your original statement was literally like them. That's just straight up equivalency logic. Pretty much the opposite of a strawman. No matter how much you want to claim otherwise, you ARE like them. Changing your position now is smart, but it doesn't change what you already said.
My bad on the strawmanning, my friend told me it basically meant assuming something about someone. Sorry about that. Also, I never changed my position, I've always had this stance on SC. Me agreeing with the killer perk statement was me trying to point out how it benefits the killer more, which I did later point out to you in one of my arguments when I said all that time is wasted for something less productive than just pressuring a gen. I never changed my argument to disguise what I said before, if anything, I added more points to my argument. SC helps the killer more than it does to the survivor, hence why I agreed with the joke that it's one of the best killer perks. My stance on it all was never changed though, it's remained the same. SC benefits the killer more, hence why you could joke about it being a killer perk. I clearly pointed that out (even if it was indirect) when listing all of its negatives.
-
- Whenever you face Legion, your teammates have Self Care and will proceed to use said perk in the corner.
- Whenever I play Spirit, I face SWF. (This one used to be true for me but doesn't happen much anymore, used to happen basically every game, it's how I improved so fast with her.)
- All Myers/Trappers love Kates. Seriously, I'm always getting tunnelled against these killers, I hate and love it.
- Whenever you take off DS, you get tunnelled for the next game.
- Whenever you take off STBFL, you get put against a SWF who LOVE to take hits.
- Whenever you take off Spine chill, you face Ghostface or Wraith.

I think so? I don't think Freddy gets a notification of which Snare went off if no one screams.
Ooh, neat. I tend to just run through his snares 80% of the time (to disarm them, even though it does only a little to help). Might start running calm spirit.
-
Also, for me, I'd have to go with Hag and Oni. Like if they step over your traps, you teleport and you get to take blood from them to go into his mode.

Pig + Freddy. Put Snares in front of every Box and make sure the person wearing the RBT stays asleep. They can never attempt to get it off without alerting you.

Forever freddy was just a player stacking as much slowdown perks/addons as possible thus makeing matches extremely long and frustrating to play as survivor.
Because of that freddys slowdown addons got nerfed pretty hard.
Sounds pretty painful to face... Was it EVERYWHERE then?

It's 16% dude. It only adds about 12 seconds to solo gen repairs, and that's only if everyone is wounded. This isn't even close to ######### like Forever Freddy. Either just deal with the (honestly minuscule) penalty or heal and learn how to stealth/loop.
Can you explain Forever Freddy to me? I've returned last month and haven't seen much of his builds. What exactly does it do?

Fire up and Predator, too strong. The rest, pretty decent.

The best way to get people to stop using self care is to heal them. If somebody's upset that they're using self care, then it's pretty much their own fault. If you can actually see them self caring, that means either you're in a position to heal them or you're on the hook where it would be stupid to try and rescue you injured.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1321047#Comment_1321047
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1321071#Comment_1321071
Spoken just like those noobs that I smashed the crap out of this morning cause they kept trying to do everything injured and got 3 hooked way faster than standard survivors. I have no doubt y'all are the type of people who don't heal other survivors which make self care such a necessary perk to begin with.
Lol, it isn't 'necessary'. I do heal the people, stop strawmanning. I'm arguing with someone who likes to strawman, hilarious.
Self care became inefficient after the nerf because 32 seconds wasted on healing is almost half a gens worth of time wasted on healing. It has so many negatives, I can't even begin to tell you, since you're obviously too narrow minded and arrogant to understand it, but hey, I got plenty of time to kill, so I might as well TRY.
I mean, just look at your statement 'spoken by those noobs I smashed the crap out of this morning'. They were NOOBS, they were probably learning how to play without SC, and you just insult them? They weren't good without it, but so what? It doesn't make them 'noobs'. Give it enough time and they'll surely surpass you in skill. People who don't bother healing generally improve in chases by being one hit KO, so they learn to chase injured, which hones their skill a LOT to which they become good to the point that they can extend a chase long enough without it effortlessly.
Resilience and Spine chill combo is great when you're injured, and some of the best chasing perks for survivors in the game.
Another would be Dead hard, Dead Hard allows you to essentially take an extra hit, but the killer does recover faster, but the distance generally helps, it can sometimes be used to extend a loop, like the Shack to REALLY greed the pallets.
Sprint burst itself is so efficient when you don't heal, with SB, you turn deadzones into safe zones, and you can make it to any pallet. And if a survivor is smart, they won't get downed in a zone with safe pallets and windows. It's like a better Dead hard in that sense.
Lithe and BL and hit or miss, if you're in a spot for them, they'll provide insane value, with Lithe giving a TON of distance as the killer has to walk around the window or vault, and BL forces the killer to drop down so your teammates (if they hide) can pressure the gens.
You know, if you think SC is 'necessary' and seem to think it's efficient, maybe it's time you start considering if you're the 'noob' here, not the people who have the balls to try to hone their skill.
I mean I used SC for a few months after the exhaustion nerf, the second I took it off, I saw the difference, it was HUGE. And at the same time, my chasing skill drastically increased, making me much better than I was when I used SC. As a result, I became a stronger player overall, and when injured, my chasing was around the same as my chasing when I had 2 hits in me back then. Not to slander other SC players, I'm sure there's some gods out there who can run for 5 gens with or without SC.
Anyways, SC is only viable with Botany or with a medkit, without it, you're wasting time. Back to Resilience, Resilience makes a gen take 72.8 seconds. Now, that's only 7.2 seconds less right? But, half a gen also then takes 36.4 seconds. Which is 4.4 more seconds than you actually healing. With resilience, you're being more of a help to your team than giving the killer a chance to use your SC time to regress generators, this is common sense. If you're interrupted, unless you're in a deadzone without SB which does happen, you should be able to put a chase up easily.
Before you pull out the old argument of SC takes 32 seconds, 2 survivors healing takes 32 seconds. Yes, that's true, but if the killer interrupts someone Self caring, they'll go down, easily. However, if the killer interrupts 2 survivors healing, then in 16 seconds, there's a good chance one is full health, able to take the hit, and one survivors can put a chase depending on who the killer chases, while the other aggressively pressures gens to pressure the killer. Even if the survivors were to SC individually, yes a killer could interrupt one, and the other would get the heal of, but the killer gains pressure from it, they got an easy down AND the other survivor wasted those seconds just healing, and gens were not pressured. A team of SC people will never beat a good killer who just uses the SC to their advantage.
Don't bother strawmanning. At least TRY to show me an argument where I'm wrong, instead of getting all emotional about it and comparing me to people who, I assume, are trying to hone their skill without SC.
Dehitay, if you don't want to read this, i'm fine with that, but don't respond to me after then, have a nice day/night.
Edit: Added a comma.

Yes! Honestly devs, you need to fix camping, it's way too strong. Forget Old Nurse, forget old DS, it's all about camping.

SC should honestly take 28 seconds, that'd be in the middle of 32 and 24 (old and OP SC's number). Then the devs could decrease from there.

@SpiritLover1133 said:
Unlike overwatch which game balance is for 500 people out of whole player base, DbD is balanced not for top players but for baby survivors
i think im the only one in this forum who can loop any killers for 5 gens ( except for spirit) and understand why the game is so broken.
90% of people in this forum SUCK at killer and survivor.
You never know how good people are until you actually see them play. Don't underestimate them (although you're fine to say that about me, I came back from a break and I'm nothing compared to my old self, at survivor anyways, as killer I'm about the same).
Also, have you ever considered that maybe, just maybe, the killers you've faced are trash? I used to be able to do exactly what you do until I started facing GOOD killers then I realised I was good, usually able to carry the team, but I wasn't able to loop ANY killer for five gens, I could manage 1 or 2 gen chases consistently against good killers.
I highly doubt you're facing good killers, put you up against a good Nurse, Freddy, Doc, Myers, Huntress, Billy, Oni or Hag and you'd die in a heartbeat, I can guarantee that. Since switching to PC, I've faced some Billies, Nurses, Spirits, Hags, Freddys and Huntresses that are so good, that all the chases rely on their skill ALONE, and the survivors can hardly do anything against them.

@Respectfulnancymain said:
Have you ever played survivor?
If all your suggestions were added into the game, it would make the game completely killer sided
I kinda think it's balanced right now with killers like 'Slinger. OP's problem is that they are new so wont know mindgames and that they haven't tried survivor, as you said. That being said, they always have room to improve as killers like Deathslinger, considering that he, like Huntress, isn't that limited potential-wise.

Most of these were mentioned above, but great picks. Surge is very good for gen builds and makes for quite a strong build on pyramid head. Thanataphobia is something I find very underwhelming because it only works on like 2 killers.
Works wonders on Hag and Oni (since ppl want to heal against Oni) when combined with Sloppy. It really puts the survivors in a difficult spot.

Thanatophobia,
Surveillance
and I'm all ears.
-
Lithe, I think it's the best and most useful exhaustion perk, and it happens to be the only one that I can use (aside from Balanced, but after the nerf it feels so clunky I hate it)
Spine Chill (Lowkey OP)
Calm Spirit (Quite good actually, if it worked against the Plague, which I don't think it does, I think it'd be viable)
Resilience (Lowkey OP)
And Botany knowledge, efficient healing, and makes SC viable when paired with it.
-
It's the nature of her power, did you see her at release? She sucked, but after a few buffs, she became the best killer (weaker than Nurse at the time, now stronger cause Nurse is so buggy). Devs made her viable, and wont nerf her to be trash, since her being strong is actually somewhat healthy. She'll always be easy, and she'll always be strong, unless they make her as bad as she used to be.
That being said, she has her weaknesses, IW and Spine chill will counter her, even if she runs stridor.

I like Death Note too, but this series just doesn't feel like a fitting addition.
It's a detective anime with 2 supernatural additions: Death gods & their death notes.
But hey, if they want to add them, oh ######### well! 🤷♂️
...
Why do i feel like L would have a Perk that takes effect after he dies in a trial?
You saw Death Note, so you know what i'm referring to...
How he predicted his successors to defeat Light? Interesing, maybe he could add a buff to the teammates, like 10% faster speed in dropping pallets or vaulting (not stackable) once he's dead.
-
@MysticMusician said:
If L was a survivor I would play L and only L lol
Ikr, I'd never go back to Kate, even if she do be thicc. L is just an amazing character and one of my favourite characters in all animes alongside Misaki Mei and Hit from DBS.
Actually, that's got me thinking, what if they were to add Another into DBD? That technically was a horror anime, and there could be a killer who disguises as a survivor, creating confusion.
-
@Boss said:
The other issue is that, whatever M1 attack they'd give him, it'd just be weird.
The kill animation is also extremely predictable: He'll write his name in the notebook, and he'll quickly choke to death or some other quick death.
True, but they could add this animation where he writes that the entity's spikes come out the ground and behead the survivor, which would look pretty dope.
For the M1, I can definitely see what you mean lol, but you never know, they could figure something out.
-

I think bot games would be interesting but it would probably take a lot of programming to make it work properly. I do think a killer tutorial for each killer or the ability to free roam a map just to get the feel of the powers on each killer would be neat. I feel like if matchmaking worked properly and put you against players that it should, the game would be much more friendly towards new killers.
The actual tutorial should be more detailed, teach survivors looping, teach killers mindgames, teach the players about situations where they can pallet save, teach flashlight saves, teach killers Powers separately, and how to use them. There's a LOT that they ought to add. It could slightly ease the new player experience if they know what they're going into.

It's like @Bovinity said, most people don't want to face difficult opponents, they want to be told they faced difficult opponents and came out on top.
Yeah, it's weird. I guess the players mature as they play more though, since nowadays I'd prefer a challenge and can get really sluggish in games that are repetitive or games that I dominate. But challenging opponents are fun now, even if I lose, heck, I even compliment killers who outmatch me by that kind of wavelength now.

oh well thank you! yeah i have died a few times, but the part i wake up at is when i am dead, sadly i can't wake myself up, i hate it when i feel something in my room or me, nightmare or real who knows but the first time it happened i was very much into my young teens and freaked me out
I guess dreams work differently for everyone. It's such an interesting topic, because some people theorize that dreams are an alternate reality you enter, and live through. And I've always found that theory interesting, don't believe in it, but have always found it interesting. Dreams appear so real to you in the moment, that you don't question what went on until you're awake. In some of my dreams, I am far more naïve or downright stupid than I'd be in real life in such a situation, yet, in others, I'm very sharp and way more intelligent than I would actually be in such a situation.
I've came to the conclusion that my dreams have a message from my subconscious thoughts, usually a flaw, insecurity or sometimes my ego and confidence, which I try to translate when I wake up and I spend a lot of time in thought about some of them. One time, I was literally tracked down in one of my dreams, by someone I thought I've never saw (it was the picture below) and he murdered me flat out on the top of a train. I still haven't figured out a message behind that, if there even was one. I'm still uncertain if it meant anything. Btw, he was a lot creepier in the dream, he ran at me while doing the crab, but it was terrifying. (Weird dream tho)
Anyways, I then came to another conclusion built off of something vaguely similar I read in real life, what if the people you see in your dreams are people you've seen in real life? Like it could be people you've randomly seen outside, and forget about them, but they meet you in your dreams? I think the subconscious thoughts deliver a message, while using people you've randomly seen, hence why this fellow came into my dream to murder me, I have seen him in a meme before lol. The most plausible theory I've came up with is that me dying in my dreams represented a change of personality (I did have a whole personality change at the time) and it represented the death of my old self?
Sorry for the long read, just wanted to share my experiences and my thoughts on dreams as a whole. Dreams are very mysterious. (If you read it all, share your thoughts <3)
