When they started citing statistics about OoO I just facepalmed. The escape rate has NOTHING to do with why people hate it. Seriously do they even play their game? Have they NEVER played against a 3-4 man swf with OoO? Have they NEVER played against a mori? Have they NEVER played against a team with a key?

Any rational person who experiences that would immediately think there's something wrong with the game. Imagine if you started a game of Super Smash Bros and one person brought in an item that let him kill your entire stock of lives. And there's no counter to it. #########???

Oh then citing stats again on Legion. A killer could be perfectly balanced yet completely boring to play - do they not get that concept?

    I really shouldn't have watched

I honestly could image that they only play with their team, which means they aren't playing serious and are testing stuff most of the time. For the rest they have their stats, which they think are reliable.

On the other hand they have Mc Lean who is streaming.

I dont know, the more i think about it the less sense it makes.

fake overreaction? no that was my legitimate one; truly amazing what anger issues can do to a person.

im well aware that these things need changes. im well aware there are serious issues with the game. im well aware this "event" is not an event. if youd hear me playing, youd understand that i know these things; that's usually what 2k hours does to a person.

im saying to not use my unoficially worded information as officially worded information.

maybe, just maybe, after 4k posts i know what im talking about, but i know to share my opinions on the subject matter in the correct section of the forums, in the correct way? not with snide developer bashing, but with actual arguments and experience?

wow, wouldn't that be a shocker.

Sorry that some of us lose patience after upvoting or writing some feedback about specific things for more than 5 times. Also with how frequent mods are in the General Discussions section it isnt a surprise that some people are writing it there, hoping to finally get some attention.

There are topics about certain things that are more than 2 years old that havent been adressed at all and now you want to judge people that are upset about that?

    Oh good Christ.

OFFICIAL INFORMATION UNOFFICIALLY WORDED. DON'T DIG INTO THE WORDING OF IT. THIS ISN'T HARD TO UNDERSTAND SO DON'T DO IT.

REPORT IT IN THE FEEDBACK SECTION CIVILLY AND THEY'LL LOOK AT IT. FOR ######### SAKE HOW MUCH CLEARER COULD I MAKE THAT IN MY ORIGINAL POST.

Whats the matter? He's totally right with his point. Anybody with a slight game understanding will say that this perk as well as keys and moris needs to be adressed asap. If you dont like that then dont show your fake overreaction just because someone is making a valid point. Ignoring game problems over and over again is not something what most of the community enjoys. Next thing you tell us is that you like the "event".

  • Thanks for the summary.

I'll recap if i understood correctly:

    • OoO beeing fine based on survive stats.
    • Instead of finally looking at Huntress/Huntress addons clown is next (again).
    • Simple number buffs for perks taking at least 6 months like the last ones.
    • Can't change keys and moris soon because it may change the game (what a surprise).

I could say that this makes me sad but that would be a lie because im not surprised.

    This is insanity.

Are most of you trying to claim the competent red ranks abandon altruism altogether?!

So when any of you face what you claim to be decent teams they don’t attempt:

    • flashlight saves?
    • pallet saves?
    • sabo the hook?
    • Body block other injured teammates, or those they’re trying to heal, or those on death hook?

Because that’s the implication here: that presumably survivors of higher skill stop helping each other. At all.

Which of course sounds crazy, doesn’t it...

Also as for lack of protection hits, I do understand this train of thought. It wasn’t until I was using Forced Penance that it was highlighted to me just how often some hits counts as protection hits. I.e. it procs WAY more often than most think it would. The only (rare) game it hasn’t is when survivors don’t help each other at all. They also die quicker when they behave this way. Does that sound like competent survivors?

As for them running backs to gens because “what else can they do?” it doesn’t matter. Or I should say it doesn’t matter to me. Gens are more than the survivors objective. They’re a juncture point for more reliably finding survivors when a killer needs to enter a fresh chase. And for M1 killers if I’m to find anyone on gens, the preference is that they’re still injured rather than requiring 2 hits. Short chases matter just as much as gen stall matters.

In my personal experience being able to find, track, and successfully end chases quickly on all 3 accounts works just as effectively at stalling repair progress as the more meta methods.

I'd say the main point we're refering to is that what exactly is the benefit of having a survivor broken for a few seconds? Or why would a survivor suffering from broken not do gens? How can you confidently say that this perk is a reason for that?

Also i have to disagree. Most of the good survivors don't heal if not necessary and just pressure gens. You can't be everywhere as killer and especially, if you play a M1 Killer, what do you want to do if they start running when they see you? A survivor gets so much distance by just holding W. What do you think is the reason some people say Self care is the best killer perk? Because healing takes time you could have spent on gens.

Also a good survivor wont let you end a chase that easily. If you tell me now, that these type of players aren't the majority, then my first point kicks in, that your skill or the missplays from your opponents were the reason why you won the game and not the perk.

  • Wild theory:

Pop gets nerfed -> Players switch to ruin + undying -> they dont have undying, ruin or both -> they buy the killers to get them -> more money

extended version: Killers use ruin + undying -> soul guard becomes better -> survivors buy silent hill chapter to get soul guard -> even more money

    /s

I also have a Iri stone story: I was in the corner of the map, next to a half-worked generator, my teammate healed me, I healed them, and just as I finished healing them the trap that was completely hidden in the grass underneath me opened. And the trapper was not in a chase at the time.

Good to know were not the only unlucky guys in that case xD ^^

  • I had one time with trapper (played the iridescent stone addon) where i was 5m behind the survivor and the survivor ran over my unarmed trap at the cow tree pallet and as i walked over it it got armed and i got stunned. I also have to say, that there was more than one unarmed trap left at that moment that could have been armed by the addon.

    It happens man :/

Lol, I know how to bait a dead hard thanks.

I’m kinda tired of the whole “tHeY mUsT bE pOtAtO sUrViVoRs” vitriol just because I’ve found ways to make the non-meta perks work for me.

There is a difference between getting value out of a "bad" perk and winning with "bad" perks. You can win with "bad" perks by playing well or having not so strong opponents, but that doesn't mean that the perks were the reason why you won.

If you want to tell me, that someone does not do gens cause of the broken status effect and waits, then i have to ask you, if you've ever considered that this player may be someone who is only crouching and doing a totem every 4mins, i.e. not helpfull at all for the team?

Also you have to get the protection hit first to get valueof the perk and if you want to tell me now that you can get that strategically every time, then i have to totally agree with @DerpyPlayz, that you might not play against at least half decent survivors.

  • I love the Feng outfit.

Makes me sad as a Kate main, since her last cool outfit is ages ago (and it takes half a year for her to get a new one) and Feng got a lot of good looking ones lately. Also Yui has already the same amount of cosmetic as Kate :/

  • Profit son, profit.

Everybody is excited for the Halloween outfits -> Players want as many new outfits as possbile -> They don't have enough shards to buy all they want -> They use auric cells to get the rest -> Money comes in.

It does makes sense and definitely is a smart move from BHVR, in my opinion.

  • Best case scenario was 2 hits. Worst case scenario was a broken hex totem after 20 seconds in the game. The worst case scenario happened almost every second match. Also most of the time i only got one hit due to the perk.

It definitely feels satisfying to block pallets and see the survivors running past it without beeing able to interact with them, but other than that theres no real reason to use this in my opinion.

  • No worries, its nothing serious. He deleted his forum account a few weeks ago and the OP joined to the forum one day later. Many people speculate now they are both the same person because of the same preferences, playstyles and way of writing.

  • It's honestly sad that ma boi DudeDelicious isn't here anymore. You both would have come along so well. You both enjoy playing the same killers in the same order, you both make threads about a killer beeing underrated only to make a thread two month later of how bad the killer acutally is and you both suggest "interesting" clown builds.

But i can tell you at least one thing that ma boi DudeDelicious would have told you if you struggle with pallets. Use the new good/underrated/gives you definitely value every round perk blood favour to block the pallets so you don't have to worry about pallets when chasing.

  • Kate. Good character, cute and one of the most important things caring. Overall a wonderful woman.

  • I had this yesterday 3 times in a row with only 2 keys but strong items and ormond/coldwind map offerings overall. I don't use moris at all but i was considering doing it after these guys had to bring in all their strongest stuff (styptic, bnp, etc.) and me having a bad day. I didn't do it and you know why? If i bring a mori they "randomly vanish" during the loading screen. Bringing the strongest stuff in is okay but then a mori is unfair.

I know this also wouldn't have been right because i might get a normal group, but i can understand these killers sometimes, that bring their strongest stuff because of some wanna bes that think they are the greatest if they bring all that stuff and their OoO.

I really hope the devs are going to fix moris and keys soon or the player base stops beeing so egoistic. Second is as likely as finding the yeti, so i hope for the first one.

I was wondering I’d Ruin, Pop or Surge (on M1 killers) would be best to get multiple triggers... you think Ruin?

Any kind of gen regressing makes it easier to trigger it multipile times thats true. Altough all you have to do with ruin is pressure the people of the gen. Ruin will passively regress the gen by its own and as soon as they reach the 70% again you can repeat that. One thing you have to keep in mind, tough, is that ruin is hex perk. If you don't like hexes because they can get cleansed early then ruin might not be your choice here.

The problem with pop is that you have to pressure them of the gen and you need to have it active to regress the gen after tinkerer triggered. If it takes you too long to hook someone for pop they might finish the gen before you can pop it. The fact that pop can regress a lot of progress still makes it a decent choice for combining it with tinkerer.

If you use surge then you also need to pressure them of the gen and down someone inside the surge radius to get the best value out of it. However, the gen regression from surge is not that high overall and therfore i personally wouldn't recommend it if you want to have the possibilty of multipile tinkerer activations.

  • I like to use it on my leatherface to get some cheeky insta downs. I'd also recommend using it together with ruin to get the chance of multipile activations. I also tried it with the apex muffler addon on billy but i got hawkins as map and therefore can't really say something about that, but its definitely something i wanna try out again on hopefully a map where i can utilize it.

As Survivor, i saw it once on an oni that got a first hit on me cause he blocked LoS. Otherwise i haven't seen that many people use it.

Overall it still seems to be a perk you wanna use on high mobility killers just to get the most out of its effect.

  • Standard Build: Pop, BBQ, Stbfl, Discordance + any addons you like or no addons.

Fun Build: Nemesis, Dead Mans Switch, BBQ/Surveillance, Ruin + Class Photo, Nancys Masterpiece.

  • For me personally its the victim role and the amount of complaints about advantages.

It's not true to say PC players play at 120 fps. Standard is 60 fps and theres a lot of people (including me) that don't change the game files (which is banable btw) and therefore are stuck at 60 without an option to enable it. Also i know some friends that don't even have some high end PC's, which means they play at 20-50 fps and they don't complain at all. Instead they fear the new upcomming update because they might not even be able to continue playing this game with their setup atm.

The controller argument is also pretty low tbh, because there are some ppl on pc playing with a controller and also don't complain. Some people also prefer controller over keyboard/mouse, so it's more a question about what you're used to. If you can't play with a controller, then i wouldn't buy a console in the first place.

Also what about the ppl on PC that use nvidea freestyle to brighten their game or streched resolution to get an advantage a better looking screen? If someone would tell that to console players they must freak out after hearing this.

The best way to improve is to understand that you have to improve instead of complaining about some potential advantages which might not even be there. Playing the victim role when they could easily disable crossplay is just annoying.

Im honestly happy that we cann finally share the feeling about getting destroyed by a nurse who know what she does :D

Hex: Spasmotic Working sounds a bit OP. While it is an all or nothing Hex like most of them, giving these afflictions to healthy survivors wouldn't make sense. If they were applied when they become injured and you shuffled the order that they apply, that would be more fair.

Hex: Duplicate Curse is a good idea, but completely useless by itself. Even Hex: Thrill of the Hunt gives a bonus 10% bloodpoints and affects all totems, while this is just a wasted slot without another Hex.

Good point! I honestly overlooked the fact that Haemorrhage only makes sense when the survivors are injured, you're right. I thought the first effect shouldn't be that strong thats why i chose Haemorrhage. Personally, i think it's okay that the effects immediately affect the survivors after they complete the gen, but you might be right that this is a bit op.

The Hex: Duplicate Curse is meant to be combined with another hex. The fact, as you mentioned, that it doens't make sense to play alone may be indeed a porblem and therefore may need to be adjusted in some way.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • As long as they continue bringing more maps to one of the already existing realms im happy. I like to have more variety when someone drops a map offering and not to be sent to that one map.

I'd love to see some new variation of the western atmosphere or some kind of castle in the winter style for ormond.

No, I can read. Dead by daylight realism is okay with heart skewers and teleporting hags, falling for 15 feet without broken ankles, but god forbid you have 3 inches extra on?

Reading isnt the only issue here. Comprehension is. And you cant comprehend that in "dEaD bY dAyLiGhTs ReAlIsM" heels are the lowest issue.

What you mean is "everything else is already implimented, so it must work, but heels wont because ReAlISm".

I know where you're coming from in terms of 'being realistic' but how does the likes of dwelf and mr puddles clown fall under this category but not heels?

I agree, it's pretty much random or extremely subjective now what "fits" and what doesn't. I personally don't think the greek legends collection "fits" that perfectly either but thats another story.

  • my-image.png

    Playing on PC.

I have to say i played pretty much every killer a decent amount of time, except for oni, but there are some i'd have to play a lot more to handle the power the way i'd prefer. I'd also probably rate deathslinger higher if my mouse sensor would'nt be that awful atm.

  • Sometimes people only feel good when they hurt others by insulting, bm'ing or doing other things. This has been in this community for so long. There are less and less players that actually care for the "other side". Whats even really sad is, that some players hate to get bm'ed or insulted but instead of beeing a better person they do that by themselves.

Only advice is try not to let that get to you. I know thats hard sometimes and i can understand when you say you like chatting with others from time to time and therefore dont want to close the chat, but if its too much it might be the best way.

I just can't understand why people have to bm a killer when they're having a hard time getting anyone and i can't understand why some killers try to to give the survivors the worst experience possbile, especially when playing a strong killer.

If everyone would show a bit of respect, this hole game (and many others that suffer from a toxic community) would be so much better.

  • I hope they add the effect of babysitter in wglf and rework babysitter. Most of the wglf users are either farming you or go crouching behind a rock, leaving you alone with the returning killer. With this effect the wglf users get their so desired second effect and the unhooked survivors hate them a little less because the unhooker can't actively hide anywhere.

  • Improve the hits with dedicated servers. Sometimes you clearly shoot next to the surivor on your screen and it counted as a hit, but before you shot like 3 times through the character model and nothing happened.

Also some animations seem to interrupt the hit detection completely. I had it several times, that i shot the guy unhooking but the unhooked person behind him got hit. It also occured, when a survivor opened a chest and i shot right through him because he was in the animation when finishing the chest loot. This is just frustrating and not fun at all. Don't know if im the only one that has that happened several times or if its just a bug.

With that visual, I understand how Shadow Duplicate could be used, and it could be pretty useful like that. It probably would only work for one loop given the timer, but could get you some easy hits. It also covers areas where the Vault can't help you in, so he would have something to use in most loops.

I see what you mean about Hide in Darkness. I think it could still use a change, as the problems I saw was more about how it recharges. I'm not sure how well the smaller model would change much, as you still have a Terror Radius, but it's a nice touch.

Yeah, that second option for Protect the Weak could be useful, but it's still pretty rare that it happens. A SWF wont send an injured guy after hook, especially if they know you have this, and a solo survivor will probably be too scared to do it injured.

No problem, I love providing feedback on these types of things. And yeah, not every killer needs to specialize in something. Several Killers already do that, and they aren't an issue.

Yeah, i agree with your point. Altough i think the recharge you suggested is a good idea. Testing this things in practice would be better of course but your suggestions sounds good to me.

I thought the thinner model should work that way, that it might be a bit harder to spot from the distance. Therefore you might do a combo to make a shadow step to a gen (you need line of sight ofc) from a far angle to surprise the survivors since your terror radius is decreased and they might haven't seen you. That was the reason why i added some addons that decrease your terror radius while holding the power button, to have a chance to sneak up, without getting noticed at all by the survivors. But that's just how i imagined that, maybe in practice it wouldn't be such a big deal with the thinner model.

Thanks again for taking your time!

  • @TheMythicalCat said:

I'll assume the vault speed is 2 seconds by default (0.3 setup, 1.7 normal vault). I think this could be a decent ability. Obviously can't be used everywhere, but being able to cover multiple options at things like the Cranes and Shack could have some nice utility. And given how slow vaulting speeds are, it wouldn't be that hard to avoid. Maybe if the add-on speeds it up too much it could be an issue, but that depends on how much it speeds it up. And not being able to spam it is a nice touch, though 15 seconds is a bit much, considering it's also tied to your other ability. Having no chase ability for 15 seconds could be rough, though it's one of those things that's better judged in practice.

I can't really judge Shadow Duplicate. This one relies on the survivor so much that it's impossible to tell how good this would be. It could be unreactable, it could be way too easy to avoid. I'll say it's alright, probably easy to avoid, but has some uses. I don't really have a suggestion for this one, as I have no way to tell how viable this is.

Hide in Darkness is a nice addition. Being able to gain a 24M TR at the cost of vision is neat, but I don't think it should start recharging once you use it. I think the timer should be shortened, but have it go on cooldown once it wears off. If you hook someone, activate the ability, find someone else, down and hook them, the 60 seconds will be up. It may as well not have a cooldown at that point. 30-45 second cooldown after the power goes away would make it not effectively permanent, and make people think about when they should use it.

Overall, several decent things, but nothing overwhelming like most killer has. They aren't the best at anything in particular. Like how Wraith is the stealthiest Killer, Myers has the best Insta-Down, Cannibal has the best camping, Hillbilly has the best mobility, Doctor has the best tracking, ect. I think this is good and bad. For good, I doubt anyone would really have an issue with him. The fact that he doesn't do anything exceptionally well means that there isn't much to latch onto when people get angry. For bad, this means that everything he does will be outclassed by another Killer, leaving less people to play them. I think this is what happened with Demo. Good map pressure, decent chasing. But his chasing is outclassed by a lot of killers, and map pressure is worse then Freddy and Hillbilly, leading to people not having any specific thing to draw them to him. Similar thing here, there isn't any one thing that people will want to play him for, so the people who will main him will be the people who like everything about his kit. I don't think this needs to be changed, jack-of-all-trades are a neat thing to have in the game, but something to keep in mind.

    For the perks:

I think Unstoppable is not good enough. You shouldn't really be breaking two pallets in a chase, and if you lose the survivor at all, it resets. If a survivor knows you have this, they could very easily break chase whenever you break a pallet, which isn't hard given how much structure is usually near pallets. And no bloodlust? That's too much. I'd say lower it to 1 pallet. It would make survivors weary of dropping pallets, as if they don't break the chase after the one pallet they have to deal with a possible 120% movement speed killer. And they still have a chance to break chase whenever you go to break one.

Protect the Weak is honestly more niche then it would seem. It would work best against BT blocking, but nearly useless in any other situation. If the unhooked doesn't try to BT block, you usually go after the unhooker anyways. Especially since the unhooker nearly always tries to block for the unhooked. The only way I can see this working is if the unhooker can be instantly knocked down from healthy this way.

Deception of Shadows is a really cool perk, with one small change. Make this totem be visible. There isn't really any counterplay to it, and hiding a Hex like NOED, Ruin or Devour is REALLY strong. Making this perk visible while all others are hidden would provide more counterplay to a really powerful effect.

    Shadow Step:

Yeah, good point. I think the 15 seconds are a bit too long aswell, was a bit short thought on my end. I agree, the vault speed addon shouldn't make it too strong or it has to get a higher rarity at least.

    Shadow Duplicate:

The shadow duplicate is meant as a chase tool if you put them on specific points. As you said, it should defnitely not be something you can instantly set and activate so that the survivor has no reaction time, but it could be at least fast enoguh to put it down and use it to hit survivors running a straight path or in between the long fences on haddon field for example. Also it may help on certain loops, depending where you pet them down to either force the survivor to run around it, avoiding the path it may travel, or just hit them if they aren't carefull enough.

I tried to make some examples for how you could use the power:

    Unbenannt.png

Red = Pallet; Black = Tile/Wall; Brown = Duplicate and Travelroad; Purple = Killer; Yellow = Possible Hit Zone if the Survivor doesn't look out. Green= Path a Survivor may take to avoid the duplicate or he can side step it if he's quick enough or thinks the killer will use the ability.

Since you call the Duplicate to you at any given time you want, you may also trick the survivor by holding the power button but not use the ability or just guess when the survivor might be at a place where you can land a hit with your duplicate.

    Hide in Darkness:

I think i worded this poorly and im sorry for that, the effect makes your model thinner and harder for the survivors to see and you also get the benefit from the decreased terror radius. Your Vision isn't meant to be decreased. Thats why i thought a big cooldown like 60 seconds may be needed so that you can't activate it in chase and for traveling. But this could easily function the way you understood it and therefore your changes definitely sound on point and like a good idea for me.

    Unstoppable:

Yeah, the breaking chase problem is something that may hurt this perk, thats why i wanted to have it at least still active if you lose chase for less than 5 seconds so you don't get screwed by that mechanic. I like your thoughts and that definitely sounds like a cool mechanic. I wasn't sure if 2 pallets were fair either, but you might be right that the perk isn't that strong and therefore the 1 pallet may be fair enough.

    Protect the weak:

This was designed with the idea in mind to either counter borrowed time, as you said, or to punish injured rescuers that are trying to get their points without having to tunnel the unhooked guy, that might be nearer to you and therefore easier to catch. I honestly didn't think that this may be more niche as you said. Therefore this perk may not be the best.

    Deception of Shadows:

I think your objection is really good. That might make it a bit stronger and more usefull.

Thanks for taking your time to give feedback, i really appreciate it and it really means a lot to me. I agree that he might not be someone that has something specially strong that stands for him but maybe his appearance and the way he plays will still draw the attention of some players towards him.

  • @TheMythicalCat said:

I'd love to critique this, but there's some things I'd like to clear up beforehand.

For Shadow Step, how long does it take to vault through Shadow Step? If it's the same as a normal vault, would Fire Up and Bamboozle speed it up? How far away can you create a portal? How long does the whole process of creating and stepping through a portal take? Does this have a cooldown?

For Shadow Duplicate, does the duplicate become active immediately, or is there a startup before you're able to make it charge at you? Is there any limit to how far it goes?

For Hide in Darkness, how small is his terror radius? You mentioned cooldowns in the add-ons, but it's not in the post. How long is the cooldown?

I imagined it having the normal vaulting speed, but maybe with a little animation of creating the shadow hole so it's actually a tiny bit longer. I thought about that too, if certain perks should increase the vaulting but i don't think thats a good idea, because the Survivor may not have enough time to react then. I tried to add an addon that allows you to vault faster. I'd say the distanc may be about as far as a nurse blink, maybe even a bit further. The process contains the short animation of creating the portal, followed by the actual vault so it should take a bit longer than a normal vault animation. After using your power to create a portal or a duplicate there is/should be a 15 seconds cooldown so you can't spam the duplicate or travel across the map by shadow vaulting all the time.

On a side note, it should be possible for you to see a an idicator of where youre going to place the portal and the duplicate. I wasn't sure if his power should be able to be used through walls but i kinda thought that may be too strong. You can place both duplicates and holes through windows and over objects as long as you have line of sight to the place you want to put the duplicate/hole in.

After creating a duplicate, there's a short cooldown and it takes a short animation for calling the knight back to you, so you cannot immediately use this without giving the survivor at least a short amount of reaction time. The distance for placing a duplicate is the same for placing a portal.

Your terror radius decreases by 8 meters when hiding in darkness and the cooldown is 60 seconds (starts going down after the transformation). After hitting a Survivor while hiding in darkness the effect of hiding in darkness ends.

Sorry if wrote some things confusingly and you're definitely right, it would have helped if i would have written these down.

Why even post about it. Just uninstall the game and play something else.

Sorry to say this, but there is honestly no one on this forum who cares about if a person would leave the game or not.

Thats by the way what he meant as toxic community. Just let him have his last post and if you don't care then ignore it. There may be some people that actually care and want to say goodbye or have a good day.

@OP Have a good one mate.

As someone who equally plays on both sides.Honestly people need to get over bagging it’s literally just people going up and down.

But isn't the intention/meaning important? If someone shows you the middle finger its just a finger, but it's the intention/meaning behind the gesture that makes it what it is. If the middle finger is meant as disrespect than t-bagging is kinda on the same level because a lot of survivors do it for disrespect. So i can understand why people don't like it or don't understand why other players do this, especially when they weren't trying to annoy the other side.

  • Added some addons and improved the Killer power. I'd love to hear some feedback ^^

  • I like your idea. Also im happy to see that you don't say deactivate when another person is hooked because that wouldn't solve the anti tunnel purpose DS should have in my opinion.

  • As far as i know, if you want to delete or move a thread you have to ask a mod like Miraak or Mandy for example.

  • You shouldn't stress yourself for something you may not even want. I also use my cells to buy cosmetic peaces i really want but not to buy the battle pass.

I don't try to to get as much out of the battle pass as possible. I do the challenges that i think are possible (didn't even tried to do the unlock hatch with a key challenge) and everything i get from the free track is more of a bonus than a goal to achieve. If you really want something you dont play for fun, instead you stress yourself into more games which you dont even wanna play anyomore that day just to get some challenges. And when you start doing that, it only gets worse.

The charms are just there to fill empty slots in the rift. They only make it worse when you unlock a tier with a reward and when you claim it you realise it was only one of the charms.

Id say try him without the feather if anything. The feather only affects how fast you can chuck one bottle after another, which isnt really that important now.

Otz figured out that the feather (at least before the buff) also reduced the movement slowdown after throwing. Thats why the feather was one of his strongest addons. I don't know if it makes that much difference now with the buff. I'll try that next time.

  • I don't feel any big difference to be honest, but that may be because i played the feather before the buff. The slow down after reloading is terrible. Maybe i have to try him with the feather again to see any difference.

  • I'd say it's annoying, when you suddenly have the terror radius blasting your ears, but it's not op in my opinion.

  • Come on, it's only another one and a half month like always. No need to rush :D

Well yeah, i haven't seen any promises on it.

I wouldn't have made this if that were the case. 😜

My bad, promisses may have been a bit too much. Then i would say theres a big difference between talking and acting. There are so many things the communit isn't happy about and they keep talking they will adress that anytime soon but as long as it takes it's not even funny anymore.

It feels like they keep making "promisses" to keep their customers but can't keep them. Im personally not very happy about the way they handle some stuff.

Even the wake up bug for example, they could have made a small patch to disable it instead of saying anybody who plays it gets banned. They didn't do that or even fix the bug relatively soon. You have to wait 1 and a half month to see some big gamebreaking bugs fixed. Even the vault a window 4 times bug was in the game for like 3 month. It's like i said not even funny at this point.

It's been shown they can do multiple tasks at once.

I'd prefer to see Cannibal's Add-ons have a rework as well, but they can do more tasks than one.

Yeah, thats what they talk about everytime, that they have different teams for everything. But why are things then taking so long and why the overall talk about the resource management when there are multipile teams?

I know i don't have insider info and i can't judge without information about how their company works, but others can handle such problems as well.

Theres a difference between promissing and acting.

  • All the moris are pretty decent, except for maybe trapper and wraith, in my opinion. There are definitely more important things to put the resources into.

For example billy, bubba and huntress should get their addons reworked anytime soon.

Now i didn't know that. If that's true at least that explains something.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1359281#Comment_1359281

I'd suggest going to the courtyard and learning the location of the bell tower. If you know what side the bell tower is on you can work out exactly where the stairs are from that. The stairs are guaranteed to spawn diagonally across the map from each other.

I'm personally still finding it tough to locate gens.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look out for that.

  • Honestly the map looks nice and i really like the idea with the easter eggs, but when it comess to gameplay this map is terrible. The game and hawkins are confusing too but they have at least almost empty hallways. This map has so much stuff lying all over the place. As killer its hard to find anyone if they hide and as survivor its hard to find gens or pallets.

Maybe i will get used to it by playing it more but at the moment i don't have fun playing this map at all :/

Hmmm I do swap killers at the last moment because of survuvors spying on who the killer is, maybe that’s it. Are you saying I need To put the offering back in if I swap

Yup, thats the case. If you switch the characters its not working. I reported the bug here:

    @PlantCollector said:

    What to do:

    1. Equip an offering to a killer (lets say Freddy).
    2. Switch to another killer (lets say Doctor).
    3. Search for a public match.
    4. Wait until you find a lobby.
    5. When in the lobby: Switch from your current character (Doctor) to the character you equipped the offering in step 1 (Freddy).
    6. Your offering does not occur in the offering burning screen
    7. At the end of the match your offering is shown but you didn't get the effect (Bloodpoints for example)

Note: This also occured when you switched your character when searching for the lobby

    Additional Information:

Doesn't matter which character, map, or role you're playing.

Happened in all 3 games i did not play around this.

    How to play around it:

When you're in the lobby, re-equip your offering or equip another offering and it'sworking.

As you said, you can play around this by re-equipping the offering in the lobby.

  • Did you switch your character when searching for the lobby/ in the lobby? This bug happened to us when we switched our characters. Lets say you equipped a cake to meg, then switched to cherryl to level her up and after that you switched back to meg. The offering wassn't shown in the burning offering screen, it was shown during the end but the effect didn't happen. Is that the case?

  • Wet floor:

Press the active ability button to empty your bottle of watter on the floor. Any Survivor that runs over the wet area starts sliding. If a survivor slides against a wall they are put into the dying state. Survivors can't control their character while sliding. The wet area stays for 45 seconds.

Has a cooldown of 60 seconds. There's no cooldown if it's raining outside.
