It offers more to do and can be used to regularly get hits. As far as powers go, it's got vastly more utility.
Hell, it even gives information better because now you're not slowed much to use it and you can surprise people.
In practice almost every knight game was 3 gen holder

I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong. I'm saying the copium is strong with you. Meaning you have higher hopes than most of us.
I doubt they'll put in the work necessary to really sell this killer. I reckon many will buy her with shards but who would spend money on her as she is now? That would require them to rewrite the lore because what we have is shallow and implausible, as well as reworking her power, her animations and her appearance (she's supposed to be stealthy after all). The chase music is simply boring and uninspired and the mori looks like it was animated in about 5 minutes. Seriously, the survivor just stands there for 5 seconds and does nothing and then they are surprised the killer is behind them? WHAT?! They just got downed so they know where the killer is! Also it's blatantly copied from Freddy.
They did very little with Sadako even though the vast majority of the playerbase agreed that she should get some buffs for her chase. Remember, that was before people started to play for Condemned so her kill rate was pretty abismal and to this day we still consider this whole playstyle an exploit. As it stands she'll exceed Knight in 3 gen camping and be inferior in everything else.
They will fix some bugs, maybe slightly tweak some numbers and that's it. The mori is gonna stay the same as is the power, the visual design and her chase music. Another boring, poorly designed C-tier killer is born.
Her lore is fine, she doesnt needs to be a tragic female killer variant 10.
Otherwise I agree

Majority of nurses are bad so we buff nurse? Or are you being double standards for one side...
Last time the devs released stats, even at low mmr, the nurse had over 50% killrate.

That means you are a low MMR killer or you're chilling in mid MMR with a strong killer like Blight/Nurse. Either way you're clubbing seals.
Killer has been in a mostly unfun state since forever.
Gens have always been too fast relative to chase times.
Even the 6.0 patch was one step forward and two steps back because survivors got a free base kit perk. The best killer gen regressions were nerfed and even Eruption is getting neutered to be worse than pop. Meanwhile DH remains untouched.
There is no wonder the killer incentive is almost always sitting around 100% except during mornings when survivor mains attempt to play killer b/c their SWF is offline.
Yeah probably still at low/mid mmr, I wonder how many 3k-4k take to get to high MMR. Though I did suffer few loses, where the survivors were extremely effective at gens. Still the killer stress is nothing compared to horrible experience that SOLOQ was.
Also forget to mention but I never play at night or late evenings, so that might be another reason that rarely encounter strong SWF.

MegHeads and Leon's are known for being baby survivors, but Vittorio players take it to the next level. I actually saw one using self care. Haven't seen that perks in months. With new survivor hud update you can see they are the only ones who are terrified of touching gens. Bloody claudettes are braver than they are! Just a small rant.
Vittorio is so extremely popular, he sold very well probably

I dont think this forum or reddit represents the majority, anyway the information trapper is too weak, she needs to be lot stronger at area denial, if that fixed she will be fine addition to the game.

This is a pretty bad take. Artist has a good base kit with good addons. Blight is now contender for strongest killer in the game and indisputably has the best and most varied addons. Spirt, Oni and Plague all have incredibly solid addons and sit in A tier with every patch.
It's just weird to lock Pyramid Head, of all killers, into the category of not being allowed to have good addons lol
He would get nerfed to ground.
Oni and Plague are lot worse than Executioner.
Spirit only carried by addons, base kit he worse than Exe.

I don't understand why a game with such a big RNG factors and core game balance issues needs to have Skill Based Matchmaking. Lately I've been going consistently on 6-7 win streaks with Legion every couple of days with a maximum of 2-3 draws/losses in between, and I'm under the suspicion that my MMR as killer has skyrocketed.
Most recent games are always against SWFs who bring map offerings and have cheesy strats with boil over and such, extremely high character level(between P60 and P100), and have ridiculous efficiency on gens. Pair that with the fact that they are using voice chat and the most meta builds, and you have one miserable M1 killer experience. This has been going on for several months now.
The main issue isn't the SWF. More often than not I win against the aforementioned sweaty goon squads, but I don't feel satisfaction in the end. On the contrary, the stress it took me to win against these tactics sucks the joy out of the experience. At the end of a session, I feel mentally drained, even if I've won more games than I have lost.
Furthermore, being matched with SWFs and sweaty people FORCES me to always bring the most meta loadout, because that's what I'll be facing. This in turn further boosts my MMR when I win, which matches me against even sweatier people, and so on and so on, creating a never-ending loop of sweat on both teams.
If I dare to bring a niche build or play "nice"(eg no tunneling, proxy camping), I'm met with ruthless efficiency, tbagging at the gates, and post-game insults such as "ez" roughly 80% of the time. I really enjoy playing off-meta builds like Undetectable Legion, Endgame Rancor builds and pallet shredder, but I don't get more than 1-2 kills with them these days.
A good start to fixing these issues, in my opinion, would be to slap bloodpoints on a lot of the less used perks. I don't think I'm the only one here who would sacrifice their "win" in order to get more BPs, as this was the case back when BBQ and Chilly used to give bonus BPs. Gaining significantly increased BPs at the end as a result of an off-meta build would make going through the stressful games worth it. Heck, I wouldn't even care if I got 0 kills at the end, so long as I'm rewarded for the time and effort I put in in order for 4 survivors to have fun(say 60-70k BPs). This way I'll be able to level up and unlock killers faster, which will incentivize me to play off-meta builds that survivors would enjoy playing against, creating a loop of anti-sweat.
Removing SBMM entirely would also be a fix, but that will probably never happen. I'm curious to hear what you think about the proposed BPs boost for off-meta perks.
I could be bribed to play non meta perks, so the idea is good, its just devs wont do it

Hard disagree on demo. His teleports have become one of the biggest noob traps in the game. Survivors get way too much head start, there’s too much noise from the tp itself, and the stealth afterward is a joke. He doesn’t even get haste lol. And of course, shred is completely gutted by dead hard. It’s nearly unusable at safe loops and unnecessary at unsafe ones.
But as far as killers actually being in good spots? Wesker for sure. Maybe Cenobite and Knight. And that’s it. Every other killer needs QoL adjustments or addon passes. For example, blight has the most busted addons in the game as an S tier killer, yet executioner has one type of usable addon that’s entirely dependent on how well you use his clunky ability.
Executioner very strong basekit, thats why he cant get better addons, and to be honest its lot better this way, in dbd most of the killer need addons to be good, and he is exception

It’s sad how many of you are so used to having insane amounts of power in chase, that when a new killer is released that is finally something other than chase or mobility you guys have a meltdown.
I dont want chase, I want tracking and slowdown, the slowdown allows her to be playable as m1 killer

Game has never been a 1v1v1v1 V1. That's stupid dev talk, if that really was the chase you would be judged on chase alone for mmr but that isnt the case.
In a 1v1 the killer is meant to win, it's a 4v1 period. Play as a team to win as a team, you shouldn't win if your team is bad.
If you balance so you can win 2v1 or 3v1 then that makes any time it's a 4v1 way more imbalanced. And let's say we do balance for bad survivors you then have to balance for bad killers too! You cant do double standards but that's not the case at all, nurse got nerfed because she can be strong in the right hands but most nurse players are bad and casual hence her win rate is low, just like survivor its really strong in some hands but that dont mean buff it for the others or so many killers have to be buffed for casual.
I'm sick of double standards of balance for bad survivors but balance for really good killers it's stupid.
Because you must balance for the majority, just like in RL.
You have a business, have 5 consumer, and 4 wants a certain thing, you would be crazy to not fulfill the majority wishes. If you cater to only 1, 80% of your consumers leaving.
But again I don't mind killer buff, but then I better hope that others won't mind playing victims (survivors)with 0 control over the game

I'm ok with the strong if hard to learn, but there is a difference between "hard to learn" and "impossible to play because this game doesn't allow you to play m1 killer".
Agreed, m1 killer is unplayable at high MMR survivors plaything, I have no idea why anyone playing m1 killer
-
@illNicola said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/364258/why-do-you-even-play-m1-killers-haha
Probably bhvr will see everyone playing only Blight, Nurse, spirit etc and instead of buffing m1 killer, nerfing maps with 15 god pallets, they will nerf these killer to the ground to "Make people more willing to play other killers"
I don't think that Blight and Nurse will be nerfed, because Nurse recently nerfed and as heard already more rare than used to be.
Blight still relatively hard to learn so most won't bother to play him, however after a year or two they might it, after lot of killer player learning him and becomes even more common and oppressive.
The problem with m1 killer is that if you buff it anyone can play it well, so they gonna nerf them, its like Forever Freddy was very easy to play, or the buffed Wraith so they were nerfed to ground.
Killer only allowed to be strong if hard to learn
-
Because he has 0 counter, hold W. Arguably most oppressive chase power, because as survivor you have 0 control over it. The only skill expression is looping and thats what you can't do against Knight, so it's boring for most of the survivors
-
@Freddy96 said:
Because playing killers that break the game in the opposite way is just BHVR style bs. They should make sure that with every quality of life they do proper balance and as a balance work you put more in one side and remove from the other.
Giving blight -10% cooldown on his m1 buffs a killer that is already strong, giving -10% to trapper is utterly useless.
At this point of dbd they should give each killer a set of passive stats like +3% movement speed and carrying one
You can't balance generally with such dbd diversity
Its true, there should be restrictions in place for Blight and Nurse

To OP I'm glad you realize the gravity and reality of the situation.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3349462#Comment_3349462
Survivors shouldn't be gifted a safety crib obviously but killers shouldn't be able to win based on passive play or intentional harrasment either. Especially when the most important thing for Survivors is doing gens.
If you tunnel me and i can't touch gens then i'm losing more than 50% of a match, i either loop really well and make you unable to catch me or i'll die and have done nothing the entire match, whatever chase points i have won't really amount to anything worth the time i spent trying to get away from you. And that's because doing the objective is valued more than everything else. So for Survivors they need to do gens to get decent BP and killers need Kills to get decent BP.
So you're forced into getting kills asap not only because of game speed but because of progression aswell and im forced to do as manny gens as possible and thus gen rush because that's where i'll get most of my points.
Since i have to gen rush and you have to kill rush we're trapped in this cycle forever where you'll use 4 slowdowns and then tunnel to guarantee 1 kill asap so you can have 2 or 3 gens to play around for the next 2 kills. And if you get 3 kills then the 4th kill becomes meaningless you've already achieved 75% of objective so having the last survivor escape isn't much of an issue. But you did play like an ######### to get those 3 kills and survivors played like ######### to get the gens done asap. We're all playing like that because BHVR wants us to.
And then since this is the intended gameplay loop then players will fight against you aswell and say but i can't win if i don't tunnel and i can't win if don't gen rush cause killers are #########.
So we're forced to defend this vicious and riddiculous gameplay loop...
The solution is obvious, give us another game mode that doesn't revolve around the goddamn issue that are GENS! It's been nearly 7 years i think the answer is very obvious. We need another game mode.
But it would split the player base, which already smaller than used to be

"there's really no avoiding it without unbalancing one side or the other."
I don't like this defeatist attitude, especially since we've long had something that did effectively reduce tunnelling.
It just got gutted in 6.1.
It's not that it's an unsolvable problem, it's that BHVR clearly doesn't want to solve it.
The playerbase wants tunneling as a part of the game, thats why devs won't do anything. Just like they protected camping due to complaints, so the perk against it F tier now
-
Even if there would be an incentive to play nice, I would play the most effective play thats to say remove a survivor from the game as soon as possible, because thats drastically reduced the survivors effectiveness on gens.
Honestly the problem they can't give enough that would compensate a survivor being left alive

Nice made up stats there, bad killers dont win good survivors period. I can loop bad killers for a long time which basically guarantees the win if my team does the gens because of the time they waste on me.
The fact you even think it's as simple as bad killers always win shows your lack of understanding, there is far more than just that to impact the matches.
I dont understand the double standards, bad survivors should win because most survivors are bad... most nurses are bad does that mean buff her? Oh wait she got nerfed! Because she has potential to be strong, survivors also have the potential to be stupidly strong it's why even in comp nurses struggle to get a draw.
Stop being one sided and treat both equally. The game has and always will be killer sided low mmr, survivor higher mmr.
We need to stop acting like survivors dont have the tools to be the power role, it's on them if they cant put it to use. It's not like survivor is even hard or complex to do either.
When god pallets, safe pallets, huge maps exist its not close to survivor sided. Take responsibility for being bad or understand the mistakes you and your team are making.
If the game was equally balanced a good killer and good survivors wouldn't be "survivors win" like you said. And balancing around bad survivors is both dumb and double standards.
I don't play survivor anymore, because the original design is changed the game was supposed to be 1vs1vs1vs1 VS 1. But now it's extremely team oriented and you have 0 control as survivor if even 1 your teammates is bad. The survivor role is meant to be played in 4 man SWF on comms, with 5k+ hours on each survivor player, then its fun.
So as a killer main I wouldn't mind if the killer role could destroy the 4 SWF on comms, but I am concerned about the game longevity if they would buff the killer even more.

@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
She doesn't have lethality (chase power) because she is not supposed to be chase killer. She is area denier.
The problem is that she is not even good at her one thing she is supposed to be good at. They need to make being in active zone more dangerous, including injured Survivors. Also maybe drones in search mode may in the area around give penalty to repairing and healing to force Survivors to not ignore the drone.
Exactly this what I want a proper area denial killer, her ability can be easily ignored by survivors, there is no consequences for it.
Give them a big penalty to gen speeds and on healing
-

This is largely due to issues within DBD and the devs just outright refusing to discuss problems related to camping, tunneling, etc,.

@Riski said:
If claw traps provide incap there need to be a different way to remove them. Twins and Cenobite get away with incap because the survivors needs to strategically make a choice about performing an interaction to get rid of it, meanwhile with the batteries in claw trap being a timer means it'll suffer the same issue as eruption''s incap of not being fun because your only options is just to wait the incap out. I'm also cautious of aura reading base as base kit killer information is almost always killer instinct or screams. Screaming wouldn't make sense or do anything practical and killer instinct upon entering would mean they're several sources of killer instinct which could be confusing, especially if one corelates to exposed and one doesn't.
I agree she needs more strength but I feel like adding more onto her information and stealth could be good instead of anti-loop. Having her undetectable activate sooner when entering an active drone and lasting longer when leaving, maybe dependent on how long she was in there, allows her to be more unpredictable and helps her feel like an assassin. Currently the undetectable feels clunky and slow outside a minor chase benefit. I feel like increasing the battery life of the claw traps would be good for tracking and although I can understand the reasoning, I don't think drones should destroy themselves near hooks. The benefit of having a drone near a hook doesn't make since as they can be disarmed easily and it makes setting them up for later impractical when they're removed for free. I do understand that using the claw traps as tracking can be difficult but having that be a skill to be learnt I think is fine.
The main chase change I'd like to see would be increasing the duration of the exposed, maybe 45 seconds, although this is secondary to the other changes in her kit. A killer with weak antiloop can work but the current parts of her kit are lacking a bit too much to make it work.
While stealth could be an option, I don't think it would be particularly good compared to even Wraith or Ghostface kit, also another problem is that most of the loops can't even mind gamed , the game is very hostile towards the stealth playstyle. My main idea is slowdown+ information, or could go towards better anti-loop + information.
Regardless the 45 seconds exposed is must, 30 seconds is nothing, and the survivor already has 10 seconds to leave the loop without any conquesence.

I think this moreso lies with an issue I've taken up with this game for a while now, and that is the fact that the game just does not tell you anything about what anyone else in your match is running. You have no idea what someone has in their build until you see them use it.
Matches can be won or lost because someone didn't anticipate someone to bring one out of well over a hundred perks. Lose because you didn't anticipate the one person you decided to slug would have Unbreakable. Lose because the totem you thought was Crowd Control was actually Haunted Grounds and your teammate DC'ed because they got instadowned as soon as it popped. Lose a vital chase because someone across the map activates Floods of Rage and the guy you're chasing has Distortion and his scratch marks disappear (yes, this one has actually happened to me). Go down immediately because you had no way of knowing the killer was running the Endfury-Hubris combo. Get grabbed by a Wesker because you positioned yourself around his dash not expecting him to have Golden Egg. Never get any value out of your healing build because you didn't assume that the killer was going to be Plague. Didn't get Solidarity value because your teammates don't know you have it and insist on healing you first. Lose out on Second Wind because the killer thinks it's Deliverance and sees it as an opportunity to tunnel. Teammates crowd around a boon thinking it's Circle of Healing but all go down because they didn't know you were doing adept Yoichi.
The sheer lack of information this game gives you is ridiculous and, frankly, a terrible design choice. It's this design choice that breeds scenarios like this, where you wait for entire seconds for a Dead Hard that they're not running. This happened a lot back when DSUB was meta, too, and it's going to happen some more after the Skull Merchant patch because "Oh, I need to tunnel this guy out, what if he has Blood Rush?"
DBD Mobile rectifies this. You can see all the perks all the survivors are running in the lobby loading screen, full on League of Legends style. Why doesn't the PC/console version of the game have this? Why do the devs outright design so many perks like Haunted Grounds that bank on this hideous lack of information, doubling down on this horrid design choice? Something seriously needs to be done about it. It's done far more harm than good for the game's health. Waiting ten years for a Dead Hard against someone who's not running Dead Hard is just the least of it.
If you could see perks, people would just dodge lobbies endlessly
-
You dont want any perk that relies on hooking, thats correct. Because sometimes you don't want to hook but use cages, even better saving the torment for last hook stage to Mori, in the end any scourge hook perk is total waste on pyramid head. You get the scourge RNG and top of that you need the right time to use it on him, so really stay away.
For Pyramid head, all you need is information perks(lethal, all ears, nurse) and or gen slowdown(most notably that knight gen perk info and call of brine). Also could use the pentimento build too but thats more gimmicky.

You have so many killers like that so go play them. Also, you get more of them to come Im pretty sure. If every killer was like that then the game would be boring for everyone. Survivors will get bored going against the same type of killer every match. Just ask Otz and other high-hour survivors how much they are tired of only seeing blights and nurses every match. If every killer was a chase killer their powers will start overlapping a lot. We already seeing it happen with Wesker. How is his power any different than the nurse's or blight's power? His Dash is basely a combo of their powers into one power. Having different killers is a very very good thing for the game. No one is forcing you to buy the killers you find boring or making you play them. You have plenty of choices for high-speed killers with chase powers and Im pretty sure you have even more to choice from going forward.
Exactly, just play Nurse,Blight,Wesker. Same thing

Hmm, i prefer to get wrecked in 5 min by a Blight than to win a 30 min game against Knight.
And i don't think Blight is the the problem, his add-ons are the problem, they are busted and need a complete add-on pass rework like nurse just got
Lilith has like 100+ winstreak with Blight only using Shadowborn

My problem is the lack of interaction in this new killers the Knight and SM. This are characters that revolve around map control, the problem is that survivors can't do anything about their tools, so their tools need to be bad in chase to compensate, well now survivors just have to play smart, be in safe areas and attack objectives strategically so they don't have to deal with the killer's tools.
This designs just create a cycle, nobody can do anything until one side makes a mistake, turns matches into a grinding game.
Blight and Wesker are very simple, but because their power's are more mechanical based and with more room for active choices, people enjoy them more.
I dont want to ever see another Blight ever again, its only possible to win as survivor if Blight is bad, autowin for Blight has no counter, its only counter if Blight is bad.
I dont even play survivor anymore because of Blight

If she become survivor, she'll definetely become my main, hands down. My visual complaints to her that she is NOT a killer. She is just a human with claws. Although it could be menacing for Claudette and Dwight, I don't want to think in which body part her claws end up when she meet any RE survivors.
I at least hope they just redraw her into some T-X/Aelita cyborgs/cyberpunk robo-girls, it would be awesome. At the very least just make her claw on hand actually her hand and replace tinfoil mask with actual robotic face (half face human, half robot, similar to Robocop or cyborgs in Aelita).
Devs are very sensitive and offensive (remembering my conversation about tweaking Artist lore) so it is unlikely to happen, sadly....
She doesn't need to look like a freak to be killer.
She is human sadist, with normal looks.

What else WOULD you buff if not her Exposed (her power)?
Buffing her tracking doesn't help her, she has no movement abilities nor any way to get downs.
Her Stealth? Still doesn't help her. She has no movement abilities.
Buffing her Exposed just makes her Knight 2, the Electric 3-Gen Boogaloo.
Buffing her either doesn't do anything for her or makes her WAY too good at holding down 3-gens. If that isn't a design issue, I don't know what is.
If the Knight fine, the she also fine buffed.

Her power literally only works in a 3-gen.
She sucks at literally everything else and if you buff her, she becomes way too oppressive.
Most of the Blight mains even though could play other way, relying on broken addons and gen slowdown, nobody cares if the killer can play otherwise, its always the most effective way played, that means, gen slowdown, for every killer thats the meta.
Of course those who poured 10k+ hours in a killer can flex with shadowborn only Blight but thats very low percent

Sadako is m1 killer, and very addon dependant which requires skill to perform well too.
Dredge is hard to learn and play, and even if you learn him, is mediocre overall.

From how I've seen people use SM I think I've seen maybe 2-3 people actually figure her out completely while everyone else just gives up and goes "I guess I just put these next to gens?" which sure works but there's a lot more you can do with it so I don't really agree with your premise. It's like saying "hag is just putting triangles on ground" but then you watch a player like michi explaining their play and you realize the killer is so much more complex at a higher level.
Also I'm not saying wesker and blight don't take skill they take a tremendous amount of mechanical skill but what I am saying is that mechanical skill is not the only type of skill. Being able to manage macro, be predictive and have general great game sense and planning abilities is also a skill and that's what killers like Hag, Trapper, and SM test that chase killers really don't.
Majority of the dbd community only cares about mechanical skill

So whats your point? Making the Game harder for Killers and more easy for survivors as it is? How are those bad players gonna get better if you keep holding their hands and carrying their asses through all their mistakes?
This a casual game, it isnt meant to be a competitive Esport, by the very definition an asymmetrical game cannot ever be balanced. If you seek a game which is purely about skill, you should avoid asymmetrical ones, but then again I have feeling that you want to be "power role" where the your opponents have to overcome a significant disadvantage, sorry once again this wont ever happen.
If you make killer even easier to play, then the result will be most of the survivor playerbase leaving the game, however the 4 men swf on comms, will adept, so in essence the game will be more miserable for killers, since they cant prey on soloq anymore.
So the balance is important, the casuals must have fun, and remember dbd used to be extremely survivor sided, any other game in the genre died, so the balance has to keep this in mind.
Killer role is the strongest ever in the game history, it wont ever happen that even at the highest level, vs 4 perfect survivor you have 50% chance to win. That would spell the game doom.
Currently as killer more than 50% of games autowin, because you are playing vs SOLOQ, and they need 4 good player, chances are matchmaking isnt working, and they get one bad, you autowin as killer. So thats why killers cant buffed anymore

If bad killer matches against 1 good survivor, he will chase it forever and the game will ends with 4 escape lol
The bad killer only need to recognize the good survivor and leave him. I dont think that takes much skill

The thing is if you balance for 3okay survivors and 1 bad survivors that is basically useless to be the balance point any time you get 4okay survivors you will stomp the killer and that's just not fair.
Yes it sucks that you can get terrible teammates, trust me I know. I'm a survivor main and I have ALOT of angry posts about useless teammates and matchmaking. Hell on post is about me doing a stupid long chase and not a single gen popping.
But even with that I know as long as I get teammates actually doing gens and trying to do chases it's a great game because they dont have to be perfect.
I dont agree on good players being so few, theres definitely alot of good players out there but the biggest issue is the matchmaking and it always has been.
If they changed the SBMM to chases and objective alone then itd be far better than the current one. The main reason I lose is because 1 or more of my team arent on gens majority of the game and when we balance so I can won those games it will die.
Killer isnt the main reason you lose, it's your team and I feel more people need to understand that and encourage people to get better over nerfing more stuff so even less people try to get better and learn
So right now:
Bad killer vs 4 Bad survivor = Bad killer win
Bad killer vs 1 good survivor + 3 bad survivor = Bad killer win
Bad killer vs 2 good survivor + 2 bad survivor = Bad killer win
Bad killer vs 3 good survivors + 1 bad survivor = Bad killer win
Good killer vs 4 good survivors = Survivors win
I think this is extremely killer sided

eh, he feels pretty fine to me. I have 600 hours on him pre-nerf and maybe 700 hours post-nerf and win most of my games (when I'm not throwing to get 360 quickscopes).
Once you get used to him having an ADS speed that isn't straight out of some twitch shooter made for caffeine addicts, he's quite smooth and feels relatively fast compared to most other killers in DbD. I find him both fun and satisfying to play. I have never once felt like I'm fighting against Slinger's own power to get a hit.
Even failed shots where you hit but can't get an M1 are good since they force the survivor into a bad position or prevent distance they would have otherwise gained.
Maybe worst case scenario are shots that look like they should have hit, but miss anyway. Going back over footage, it's always pretty obviously a miss.
I'm gonna go ahead and say it: Skill issue. Slinger is extremely strong, and the only reason to do badly as him is that you are bad AT him.
So he is still viable, just need to put into effort to learn him.
