Yeah more horror would be good. My ideas:
- add some areas to maps which appear darker
- make maps in general a bit darker
- make the killer TRs smaller
- remove the red stain from killers
- make all footsteps louder
- add more disturbing background art like the cow tree/expand on it
- add interactive environments with jump scares
- add other creatures to maps alongside the crows like toads, snakes, and spiders - maybe they also do a jump scare
- bring back the red light bulb from the original killer shack 2016!
- make the maps bloodier

I bought this game in summer 2017 and played my first match as a Meg vs Trapper on an Azarov map. I got into a bear trap and Trapper got me out of it and hung me. I got unhooked and ran off but Trapper got me and killed me. I was like ######### is this stupid game and didnt play again for a month..
And then I became obsessed!

@James4125 it is the same for me. One thing to note is I play PS4 and the performance on console is always changing with each patch.
With good patches, the game is smooth and I can do quite well as killer. When its a bad patch, then you can just forget it and I will play survivor instead.
So, dont believe you are getting bad at the game as time goes on.. Its the patches on console ruining everything

The killer was a crossplay freddy with super lunge and super speed!

How about if survivor's like you could toggle counter off?
My concern would remain, because It would still enable the babyfy-effect due to other players.
If people struggle, Small Game is a huge help for them to locate only the 5 totems

The maps are not too big and after you play this game for a while, you learn where to find the totems.
My concern is that by adding things like this to the game, it will babyfy the game - reducing the challenge.. (the challenge is what makes it fun!). If im spoon-fed how many totems there are, it would feel really easy.
Also, how often does one run a killer for 5 gens and then get downed by NOED @skarsguts? Its one of the not so common scenarios, right?

Pennywise is more than a clown, IT is a powerful ancient being comparable to the entity.. To add Pennwise as the clown form would be a downgrade/insult. I love IT but dont want it added to this game for that reason

If you stop using all cosmetics you paid for and worked hard to unlock through all the challenges, and just play the default skins, the game will play smoother............... :/

People suggested many times, bridge the gap between SWF and solo survivor/buff solo and then buff killer accordingly. But they dont comment on it.
Also, with crossplay, they should start to consider some kind of internal voice chat or text chat or something. Its really bad not having the possibility to communicate with someone from a different platform..

You can’t do it while in the killer load out screen or the survivor load out screen. You need to go to options from the main menu

Yeah they definitely made a bad decision with releasing all event skins and no legacy skins. Work was involved for earning both. So make either both remain exclusive or both unlocked.
They will check this topic soon.

You’re not forced to cross play. Just go to settings/options on the main menu and switch it off.
I have already tried and the option is greyed out - I cannot untick it

When I play as survivor it is for the most part smooth but then you have random frame drops.. And then killer.. the frames are even worse depending on killer and map.
Now I find myself ignoring all killer tome challenges/daily rituals because the constant shuddering and delays have become simply pathetic

I use Calm Spirit on every survivor build along with Spine Chill (my two favourites^^).
To me to the perk works very well because it denies the killer important information - where I am! It counters Doctor Shocks, Clown Tonic, Iron Maiden, Infectious Fright (very important against Hillbilly, the Oni, Nurse and Michael Myers), Crow alarms, Oni pink add-on, Nurse add-on, usw.
It is very underrated! Many times I have changed the match for the killer because they didnt realise where I was or what I was doing :P
I cant imagine to play without it.. Also, I like it that the survivors dont scream because the screaming in this game does my head in

REMOVE: all mori offerings.
ADD: the ability to mori basekit only once all 4 survivors are on death-hook + allow mori on the last living survivor.
I suggest this replacement because the offerings moris are too easy.. Maybe replace the mori offerings with a new type of offering

I am very happy with this! When I first saw the "4" Pyramid Head theory, I really wanted it to be him and yes!
When considering video games in horror, Silent Hill is definitely iconic, jaw dropping and an emotional milestone.
Cheryl/Heather is also very mysterious.
