  • They do that anyway.

This'd only be good if you make Ruleset No. 2 basekit.

They are either really brave or incredibly stupid to work on a generator with the RBT on. Unless they want to be put back on a hook.

  • @Elena said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1182283#Comment_1182283

That's my point, that one survivor with a RBT is most at risk because of the other 3 survivors potentially completing generators. Those other 3 survivors are practically killing that survivor quicker.

No they're not. I dunno if it's because I've severely dropped rank lately, or what's going on with the survivors, but they never pop a generator.

And even if they did, between the time between getting off hook and anyone sorting through a generator, they have plenty of time to get it off. The standard RBT takes 2:30 to activate, which is pretty long. 2:00 with Tampered Timer, and pauses while in a chase regardless.

There have been 2 situations that I've had an RBT kill: brown ranks who don't understand her power and a box being in the middle of a 3-gen patrol path.

imagine if survivors had to use a perk to fix a broken mechanic that favoured killers.

    Because that's what you're implying.

    Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable...........

    Sound familiar?

  • @Elena said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1182270#Comment_1182270

But the other survivors could be working on generators too.

Yeah, but if you have all 4 survivors still alive, and one has an RBT, then that trapped surv will try to remove the box first. They will not touch a generator and generally won't heal.

There are now only 3 survs that you have to worry about touching your gens.

  • @Elena said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1181696#Comment_1181696

It wouldn't make sense for a Piggy to tunnel a trapped survivor because surely the trap would explode and kill the survivor quicker when you're not chasing them (as chasing them disables the trap timer). Although I have been tunnelled by a piggy before, it still confuses me to this day.

You don't care about an RBT kill because that survivor will never touch a gen if they're smart. You have basically removed them from the match for a time.

  • @Raccoon said:

Yeah, I've never seen it happen, either.

    I guess Deathslinger 101 is a complicated course @_@

Agreed. I haven't had it happen either. And that's on BOTH sides!

Geez. Starting to think that I'm better off back at Clown's Chemistry classes than Deathslinger 101.

  • Liked? No. Especially when there are always going to be certain elements within the community that bring down the reputation of others.

Pig is a perfect example. Complete fools will tunnel out trapped survivors. These players give the rest a bad name, worse still is that this bad choice of playstyle is actually rewarded.

I've had people message me and say how nice it was to play against my Pig since I don't tunnel in the slightest, and I don't because I can sympathise with survivors, and it's not an optimal way to play.

    @[Deleted User] said:

No. I've received complaints or read complaints about every single killer throughout my time playing the game. I've read recent posts saying Pig of all killers needs a rework. And even if you play killers like Trapper that are easy for survivors to face, every once in a while they'll complain about the fact that you used add ons. The goal posts will always move. People should play whoever they want.

And it's not that Piggy needs a rework, but her ADD-ONS do. Her power needs some small QoL buffa and changes. Faster crouch walking, moving the roar back to the start of the dash, maybe making her TR 28m again, activating traps during EGC.........

  • Well, M&A is what I like to call a "tutorial" perk on someone like Deathslinger. Most people will use it to help get within a decent shooting range, since long range shots are REALLY hard. Or at least they are on console. As for Whiskey, it's an add-on that also lowers his movement speed. His 4.4m/s movement speed.

There are ways of running Deathslinger in a stealthy fashion, but he is NOT a Stealth Killer. The currently 4 stealth killers have one massively defining trait and 3/4 have one very simple thing in common. All start the game (or can start) with ZERO Terror Radius and the Undetectable status. Pig, Wraith and Ghostface can all turn theirs off with parts of their powers. Myers has zero TR in Tier I, 16m in Tier II which can be lowered to 8 with M&A, and standard 32 AND EXPOSED at the limited time Tier II. He can also be in you pretty quickly in Tier II even without M&A.

Deathslinger has none of these traits and requires the use of both add-ons and perks to get a remotely similar effect.

Classic survivor mains complaining that the killer doesn't just let the last person go.

    No. Just no.

They're saying that they're not falling for your stupid bait that killers use to cover up a lack of skill in tracking. It's not about being let go, it's about recognising a dumb strategy and avoiding it.

  • Not saying all maps, and a dev can prove me wrong, but I find that a lot of the time, they are in some sort of proximity to a door. It happens on a lot of maps, but occasionally it'll be out in the middle of nowhere.

Dan Murphy's (liquor retail) has basically been declared as an "essential service" so I now have full-time hours to fill the gap missing from my martial arts (karate and kickboxing) and tabletop gaming (Force of Will tcg and Warhammer 40,000) closed until further notice.

It's kind of hard seeing people worried that we might close down, and others out of the job because of media scares about a slightly worse cold. We've even limited sales to stop people buying out the entire store.

But if I can live through the bushfires, floods, and Xmas time at work, I'll manage with this.

  • images (1).jpeg

It's easy if you get a baby killer, or have a full squad who's all 5 ranks above the killer.

It's extremely painful as a solo these days will all the campers and tunnellers about.

If you actually played a season of survivor above rank 15, then maybe you'd learn the truth.

  • Being in the killer's terror radius isn't exactly a bad thing. Except for Doctor.

I used to try and sprint out of it because I didn't want the killer anywhere near me. Now I take it as a notice that the killer is near.

  • I use it mainly because play solo a lot more these days, and because I'm also either playing stealth or I have Botany Knowledge as well, so I won't get founs as easily.

  • @BenZ0 said:

I dont think that Pig will get a complete rework, her base power is fine. She needs some QoL changes and updates, also agree that the map could get some adjustments. I agree and I think that Pig chapter might get a rework, but who knows. Billy, Leatherface, Legion and Myers chapters need a update/rework aswell.

Billy's getting his add-ons looked at soon, same as Leatherface since they basically have the same add-ons.

Legion is tricky, since his core design seems to be about spreading damage which has proven to be really difficult to balance. If they made him into a melee Deathslinger with his Vault ability kept, then maybe they'd be balancable and decent.

Myers is fine as he is. His add-ons either completely change the game or slightly boost his abilities and his overall power is largely dependent on the player and perk conbinations.

I can also name the add-ons that are fine in Pig with one hand. Combat Straps, Video Tape, John's Medical File, Tampered Timer and Gears (including both here, sonce they do the same thing). Amanda's Letter is only good in niche situations and require a small map, like The Game, the extra traps/boxes are just "meh" and any add-ons that add effects on the traps are just aweful. I don't think that adding Exhausted or Blindness has ever helped me win a game. Any add-on relating to skill-checks is also a massive detriment to the player, since competent survivors can hit a basic skil-check, with experienced and skilled players using these add-ons to speed up the progress of the box. Ruleset No. 2 is also severely overrated, as I only really see it forcing survivors onto generators, the EXACT OPPOSITE thing I want as Pig.

  • And how many threads talk about the bad tutorialisation of this game?

This is similar to Hag and her community perception. The optimal way to play is not exactly explained, and only noticed by a few.

  • They're probably confusing "add-on rework" with "nerf" considering the community perception of the Nurse add-on changes.

Happens a bit whenever anyone mentions killer "changes", even if they are truly better for the game.

  • I tbought that the killer's TRUE objective was to protect the generators.

    @tippy2k2 said:

It's always been my understanding that killing as the killer is kind of a by-product of what your ACTUAL objective is...

    The Entity wants FEAR

Just grabbing the survivors and killing them doesn't feed The Entity fear. The person is dead, they are no longer a resource for fear, they're just dead now. But chasing after them, destroying the generators (the only way for the survivors to escape and therefore scaring them that they can't), bleeding survivors with hits, etc; THAT is what The Entity wants. Once the survivor is at maximum fear, THAT'S when you finish them off.

Basically as the killer, you're supposed to toy with your prey before you finally just put them down for good

    And this.

Must be why I do so well with the ranking system. I literally toy with survivors and artificially extend the game. I may be lower ranked currently, since I've been grinding Survivor Archives, but easy double to near double by just extending the game and just toying with survivors. Worst game tonight in terms of rank was Deathslinger with gold Gatekeeper and silver everything else. One DC, but had Devour Hope and let the last one escape.

  • I usually see them as perkless/no add-ons. Normally prone to camping and tunnelling to compensate. Especially fond of Wraith, usually.

  • @Huff said:

Honestly I do think Pig needs to be looked at, for the reason of the toxic gameplay. I don't often face them but when I do most of the time they're just putting a trap on my head and then tunneling the hell out of me, whether it be intentionally or because my team mates magically always know where to run to bring the killer to me. Especially when I'm on a box trying to get my trap off. I really wouldn't be disappointed if they looked at her before Clown or Bubba. Not that I think they don't deserve it, but I at least have more fun playing as and against either of those two characters than Pig right now.

That's a community perception issue, and one that haunts true Pig players, like myself.

Funny thing is that the exact opposite is better. I actively IGNORE trapped players, because they aren't pressuring me.

  • Oh, and also because as someone who plays both sides, it's because I both earn mine and because I can somewhat sympathise with the survivor's point of view.

  • Simple. Having a kill handed to you by, say, Carb Tuning Guide and Primer Bulb, NoED, hardcore tunnelling, deleted by a tombstone Myers when you've never been hit, mindless facecamping, Iri heads and chainsaws within 5 meters all come under a single classification for survivors: incredibly dumb and unsatisfying ways to be taken out that seemingly require next to no skill on the side of the killer.

If I'm expected to utilise god-loops and pallets all game, then why do killers get a free pass with all their BS? Or get to freely complain about the survivor equivelants?

It's as @Doddle28 said, it's two-way street. Either we all get to complain about the dumb situations if both sides, we all ignore them, or we come together and try to do something about them.

  • @BenZ0 said:

I agree kinda with you and I can understand what you mean. But in the other hand, why is someone bad because he tunnels or camps? As I said, for example I do these 2 thinks because they are the best option to get kills or apply pressure if the specific situation is the best play. This doesnt make me automaticly a bad Killer. You have to see that in that way, if you know when to do this to get the maximum kill efficiancy out of it then you are even a good Killer. If you just facecamp or tunnel braindead from the start of the match then yes this Killer is bad, but there are different reasons when tunneling or camping is a good and smart play and when not.

Maybe I just understood you wrong, if that is the case then I am sorry.

Yeah. I'm talking about the braindead face-camping or the permanently in Kindred "patrolling" camping and mindless tunnelling, eating BT and DS if they have it just to get kills at any point in the match, not just the end.

There are tactical ways of doing it, such as making your STBFL Obsession on death hook from the start, or when you BBq and nobody appears, but those people don't use this excuse and nor should they.

  • THE HEAVY IS A SPY!

Right. Were was I? Oh yeah!

Doctor is strong now, he is also a PRESSURE killer, meaning that you always feel his presence and anxiety from the fact that he will always know where you are.

    @BattleCast said:

Hes not as good as you think. He still suffers from long chases, so if you learn to exploit that your games will be much easier against him. Doctor only really counters stealth gamers. I am not a stealth gamer, so I don't struggle against Doctor.

    And you are completely right.

Drop the pallet early or change direction when his hand waves. Shock avoided.

  • Most of the time it'll be a rank 18-20 who's never versed a Pig. Or the last box is in the middle of the Pig's 3-gen patrol path.

That being said though, it is an extremely euphoric feeling, and as good a feeling as winning a full match of R6: Siege comp with a Kapkan trap you forgot you placed earlier.

I'm in agreement with this as well.

I became a much better chaser with the loss of old Ruin because without it giving me extra time to make up for my chasing mistakes it was harder to see where I was making those mistakes.

That said, I disagree with why new Ruin is good, because if all you're doing it just chasing people off generators you're going to lose that war of attrition eventually. However the new Ruin + Surveillance is a damn fine combo as everytime you move someone off a generator it's now highlighted and you will know the second someone is back on it.

Honestly I find the combination of thrilling tremors and pop goes the weasel to be my go to for generator regression now, as they function as both location knowledge (unblocked gen is the one with survivors) and direct regression of 25%.

It's not JUST chasing people of gens, but more of they try to lure you into an area with finished gens, you ditch them. It is an extremely context-dependant playstyle, but I've found it both fun and effective, mainly in Pig.

  • @inferjus said:

Just give old Ruin effect to gens for first 2 minutes of the game and problem is solved!

    @RaSavage42 said:

I could say bring back old Ruin... but that's not what ppl want to hear so how about taking the concept from how old Ruin worked and apply that to status effects...

1.) It would raise the skill cap for survivors (it would be a little bit harder to get red ranks... for the most part)

2.) More critical choices would involve more risk...

3.) It would encourage players to experiment with different builds to: gain an advantage or minimize the effect

I wouldn't bring back old Ruin at all. Pn console it's already hard enough to hit Great skill checks, let alone consistently.

Too many killers (myself included.....) have been carried by old Ruin for quite a bit and the time without it has been pretty beneficial to a lot of people.

New Ruin is also actually fantastic if you drop the notion of just "I am a killer, I must kill" to instead focus on protecting your generators.

  • @BenZ0 said:

I dont know why there are so many topics and discussions like that. Why do you even have to justifiy? I tunnel and camp if I need to to apply the most pressure and play most efficiant as Killer. No reason for any justification, you chosed to play Killer and you are supposed to kill your enemies, why is no one so desperate to justify at call of duty of killing someone? Or in Lol or many other games... I dont get this, imo this entire topic is just nonsense to make such a big deal out of it.

*This message is not only to op and to his own post what he wrote*

It's not about what you're doing, but the obviously BS justification for it and the abserd double standard that comes with said excuse.

You say "I can pay how I want, I payed money" to which I respond "So did I, and I CAN'T play at all with that 'tactic' so don't give me that excuse".

It is only about terrible justification and stupid reasoning. If people just admitted that they're just horrible people, ore have zero skill when they did this, then I wouldn't have made this post.

Killer is definitely harder on console, due to the lack of KB/M.

Depends on the killer. Nurse and Huntress? Yes. Hillbilly? No flicks, but still most common of the poweful killers. Spirit? Nope. She's fine.

  • Slippery Meat is just too situational and limited. Adding an effect to grabs, wiggle or the Redeemer would be good for the perk. Give it some sort of versitility.

On the other hand, we all know how killers feel about survivor buffs..............

  • @TAG said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1178273#Comment_1178273

I mean, yeah, you can do that too, but that's also situational (and slow). The real "draw" of ambush is being able to contest pallets.

Either way, it's still one of the more unique parts of Pig that we can both probably agree on that needs a buff. I personally don't think that her RTB's need looking at, just the add-ons. And lots of smaller buffs in other areas.

  • @TAG said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1178250#Comment_1178250

I've certainly gotten some sweet hits off it too, but as far as I see it, ambush relies entirely on the Survivor messing up, no matter how next-level your mindgames are.

I use it as a first hit mostly. Starting to incorporate more mind-games into my games, though.

  • Pig just needs a few non-rng number tweaks. Increase her crouch movement, move the roar back to the start of the dash, maybe lower her TR back to 28m. Small things like that.

Also I don't know what you're on about @TAG because Pig's dash is one of my primary methods of attack, and it works really well for me! It's probably in how you use it.

You're really starting to act like a man child. We all have hobbies, jobs, school and families needs to take care of so dont use the excuse that you're WoRkInG because we all are yet we made it to red ranks. So heres what you should do, stop wasting time on the forms and actually put all that time into killer so you can get into red ranks

Yes. I'm posting during my breaks, and before/after sleep. Is it that hard to figure out?

I'm doing triple of what I normally do, and trying to deal with enough panic and vitriol as it is, so why don't you just BACK OFF, huh?

As for the "against killers" thread remark, it's 3 of them , and regarding tunnelling. One of which is MINE.

I now have less time to myself than before, had my killer rank lowered to 17 because I'm grinding Survivor Archives and play generally speaking weaker killers. So you can understand why I would be hesitatant to try to grind up for a rank I do not wish to reach after doing so on Survivor, and hating it.

Then dont. Every post I see from you is heated. Take a break, and play Animal Crossing. Taking a one week break from DBD worked wonders for me.

They seem heated simply because people seem to try and just inflame me, rather than being reasonable. Killers on these forums only care about their side, and getting their 4k games, or so they portray. Threads like this encourage using one of the most inflammatory methods of play, and as someone who both is on the receiving end of this tactic constantly as of late, and will NEVER use it, only to get told how "entitled" I am for telling people that they should maybe consider how the other side feels and looks at this topic will make me seem heated because I feel like one of the few voices standing on the other side of the argument, acting as the opposing ideal that needs to be shared and looked at.

I am taking a break from DbD due to overwhelming amounts of work, due to BOTTLE SHOPS somehow being considered an "essential service" in Australia and my own frustrations with the Xbox killer base.

Also, my killer game does speak for itself. I may not have been at red on killer, with my highest being low purple, but I also play a majority of what can be considered weak or non-optimal killers. I play gen-protector, and it either overwhelmingly landslides for a majority of green ranked games, dies horribly due to a SWF Purple squad, or rarely has a decent back and forth, usually resulting in a 3-gen. If I had recording gear for my Xbox, and the time to showcase what I mean and even more time to rank up a bit as killer, then I'd gladly show all of you what I mean.

  • @Angerydoge said:

After reading the entire post, I really don't know why you think billy is OP (I know you said your not saying that but from how you wrote your post you obviously think this.)

I don't know what you mean when you say Billy is has "lower mechanical skills". Sure his power is very simple, You hold M2 and you get to dash but it takes a lot of practice to master. I have seen rank 20 Billys' who start revving and then he smacks into a wall. Steering a chainsaw is difficult and you have to know when to activate the chainsaw at loops to get a down.

Also there are so many counters to his power. Here are some; T-Wall loops, Jungle gyms, 360, corn vision(Coldwind only), direction duke, corners, windows, infinites, pallets, and the killer shack. Like you dont have to be good at running to turn your character 90°, running infinites like Iron works isn't hard to run. Running the shack can be more difficult but with practice you can get a few loops from any killer. He is rated easy because he is easy for new players to get into killer not because he is easy to master.

It's not necessarily that Hillbilly is OP, but rather that he has way too much utility within a single button press. If I make him seem at all OP, then it is simply compared to Nurse, Spirit and arguably Freddy, within about 10 hours of playing them. This also ties into the "lower mechanical skill" aspect that I was talking about. It doesn't take a genius to know how to toggle the charge on his saw, or hold down left/right to steer. I am also a console player, so flicks don't apply to me for argument's sake here. I do concede that weaving does take time to learn, but if I can do it reasonably within 3 games, then by the theoretical 10hr mark, it shouldn't be an issue.

I'm also trying to leave player skill and related counters out of The [Killer] Problem, as there are too many variables within the playerbase to get any sort of meaningful results. Unless it takes zero skill, like bodyblocking basement stairs with a revved chainsaw. And yes, it is an issue I also have with Leatherface, but he'll have/has his own issue that will be discussed.

Hillbilly's key problems are that he is so easy to pick up and do well with, mostly compared to the other two within the "Top 3" of Nurse, Spirit and Hillbilly. Combine this with his championing as the "Center of Killer Balance" and this spells a pretty significant problem within the game. It just so happens to be tied to Hillbilly.

Thank you for actually being sensible and reasonable about your response too. It's refreshing to see someone calmly debate and respond rather than yet another "git gud" or "buh high rank" post that is unrelated.

The problem that I always have is why do people consider Freddy so good.

I don't think he's all that good or fun to play as, and he isn't a hard game playing against him.

He has a power to help end chases and map pressure in the form of his teleport and the Dream World.

His power also combines and compliments some of the strongest powers in the game right now.

You also don't have to devote several months of your life straight into learning how to play him well, unlike Nurse.

  • Legion can be really good for ranking up. 28 stab wounds and all.

The problem is their ability to secure downs does seem near non-existant.

Freddy is also THE top killer at the monent, or at least one who isn't Nurse. Bold claim that the Legion can be better than them.

no. the job for killers isnt to protect generators its to kill survivors. thats the MAIN job its even described on the tooltips sometimes that summoning the entity is your job. you do that by hooking people. and thus it grant you most BP.

Protecting generators is only useful because it extends the game long enough for us to actually kill you guys, because repairing generators allows YOU to leave. but if no ones doing generators because everyone on the survivor team is a potato then theres no point in protecting them.

Killing survivors is primary, protecting generators is secondary because it extends the game, protecting totems is third, depending on hex totems, can be secondary too. Sure if by protecting generators i can kill more people, then i will do that. but sometimes, tunnelling is the most strategic option so i do that too.

No killer says: i paid money so i can play how i want", we only say that when survivors like you, need us to give you an excuse for why we tunnel you. We're not sorry.

I often camp people when all the generators are done and i dont have a single kill, then survivors start calling me names in the chat afterwards because i got a kill. thats strategic, its not ######### and im not being mean.

If you keep on getting found and cant outrun the killer, then play better what else can i say. Ive never witnessed what you describe and my survivor rank is as high as my killer rank. its exactly the same, yet not once, have i seen myself being tunnelled for several matches in a row. And yes, while i get tunnelled the rest of my team does generators. i will probably die in the end, and sure that sucks. i might not even get many BP for that battle, but thats the CURSE of playing in an assymetrical game like this. you are reliant on teammates who can be potatoes, or in your case, who are unable to outrun killers.

I can really only say ive never ever seen what you describe to such a degree. for me it happens sometimes, but not often. specially not the camping part. And you know what that tells me? your definition of camping and tunnelling someone is vastly different from mine. because i refuse to believe that if i had been in your shoes those 20 matches, i would have considered what happened "tunnelling and camping". i cant tell for sure, because i werent there, but it seems highly unlikely.

Ive had 2 people on hooks right next to each other at all 5 generators left. I "camped" them because they couldnt get far generator wise with only 2 guys doing gens anyway and they were forced to rescue, so why shouldnt i "camp" them? even used deathslinger. Two hooked guy next to each other is the perfect bait. That too, is strategic thats not a dick move, its strategic. you have no right to complain in such a situation. yet of course entitled survivors feel the need to once again, call me names. calling me a camper. but it isnt camping its strategic. i brought up this point to once again say there are clearly different ways you guys see camping contra how i see camping.

What i fail to understand is though, that you know you are unable to play when hooked. and that bothers you. so why do you keep on playing? you will get hooked and you will clearly get hooked a lot untill you become better at hiding. try not to go for altruism points, actually stay low maybe? or go for urban evasion.

Tunnelled for 18, camped for 2. I can assure you that our definitions should be similar. Moving out of Kindred range for 2 seconds total is camping when it leads to either going to struggle, or dying. Tunnelling is targeting the same person and only hooking them until they die. Or at least they are for me.

More and more killers have also used that line on me lately, but I'm also on Xbox and we don't have Endgame chat.

There also isn't any "play better" when I get all of one chance to practice and usually in unfavourable situations.

You're right that you don't know my games, but it also leads to a problem that just about everyone who "comments" on my issues have: they don't even try to empathise with me or see my point. They don't know my struggles and a lot of them just don't care.

Take my thread The Hillbilly problem as a perfect example, I went "I have played a lot of games against and as Hillbilly and here are my findings, especially regarding his skill floor." and an overwhelming majority argued about skill celing, flicks (especially helpful for a console player!) and high rank gameplay. My points get ignored and people bring in completely different arguments.

As for time on hooks, I KNOW how to play a stealth game, I got to red with a combination of stealth and running. I did it when an overwhelming majority of killers didn't camp and tunnel. If I was given half a chance, I proved myself.

My problem is that in the current gen-rush/tunnel meta, there is no opportunity for me to do anything before I get done in by the killer.

    what?

You complain that the killer targets you when thats his objective? He's supposed to murder you, i dont think he cares about your feelings about not being able to play when you are hooked. And what if he took someone else then? then his chances of being able to play is taken from him. you can make that argument against any given survivor being targeted by the killer but grow the hell up, that is his job.

Whether he decides to tunnel which makes it faster to reduce the number of survivors to 3 (thus easing his game) or just slugging random people he meet is up to him.

it sounds to me like you're just angry that you lost. yea sure you werent rescued but you are not entitled to two rescues before you need to die.

if you die on the first hook, well too bad, be more stealthy next time. Leave the game, find a new game, try again. thats how it is.

And Killers dont usually spawn next to survivors, they spawn almost across the map. but even if he did spawn at the nearby gen, you should be able to hide regardless.

Twenty games in a row. Tunnelled and camped out of the game.

Started with my stealth build. Tried using more of a running build.

I am not angry that I'm losing, I'm deeply frustrated that I cannot play the game. And given the excuse "I payed money for this game, I can play how I want." I PAYED MONEY TOO! I can't even PLAY the game, let alone how I want to!

You know what killers are also meant to do? Protect generators. That's right. Stop the survivors from repairing generators so they can't escape.

This game has bad tutorials, and I like that. But maybe we should all just stop looking at it all at face-value and re-evaluate.

Death in this game should be a punishment for failing your objective. Not for being the first to be found and always locatable.

What adapt to unbreakable BT etc were created by killer tactics slugging and camping ( not saying these are fun) but why didnt the survivors adapt ?? Just saying

Not slugging. Tunnelling. And face-camping rather than camping.

    Decisive Strike/Borrowed Time.

Learn it. Love it. Use it.

Doesn't help. Only delays the inevitable.

  • It's happening on Xbox too.

Sad thing is that people I come across generally don't gen-rush.

Your problem is continuing to make this all a personal attack. We're all just playing a semi competitive game here, we all want to win at the end of the day. That isn't always possible for both sides (as much as they seem to balance towards that being the case)

Maybe taking a break will help with some perspective. It helped me alot

How is expressing my frustration that I cannot play a game I have spent a lot of money on, due to the behaviour of others making this all a personal attack? I bring up serious issues and points all the time on here and all I'm met with are people arguing an unrelated point, calling me entitled or just to "git gud".

Nobody can give me a serious answer as to how it's ok for me to have something like 3 minutes to dodge a killer who soley wants me because "muh four k" or "permanent pressure". Not one decent answer as to why I should spend 5 times as long in a lobby screen because I can't use god-loops and spend my time getting kicked into the dirt.

I am taking a break because of all of this, and started to play more killer again, but it's still a frustrating issue for me.

Tunnellers need to be reminded that survivors aren't bots, they are real people with feelings, and that their actions have a negative impact on the game.

you DID have a chance to play the game and you failed when i caught you. you failed to stay hidden. stop blaming me for your mistakes. how i proceed after i caught you is up to me, how you proceed to do before i catch you is up to you.

stop being entitled. im not responsible for your "fun".

I'm not being entitled, and this isn't about having fun. I literally cannot play the game due to tunnellers.

My chance to play the game was taken away as soon as you decided to only target me.

It's not MY mistake that you can spawn next to me then just target me regardless of perks, map or any other elements of the game.

An entire thread about how killers shouldnt be able to play the game outside what survivors want them to do because there are 4 times as many survivors as killers. And the crazy amount of people who agree that killers shouldnt be allowed to play the game how they want because its unfun for the survivors. At this rate just ask BHVR to make killer bots that follow the rules of.

    1. Must hook all players once before attempting 2nd hook.

    2. Must always pick up survivor and take every ability they have, eat every DS and Head On, giving the survivor time to do it.

    3. Killer bots can never use mori.

    4. Killer bots arent allowed to chase too hard because thats tunneling and mean.

    5. Killer bots must give survivors 30 seconds of setup time before they start hunting people down.

    6. Killer bots will always give the survivors the last hatch.

    7. Killer bots cant be allowed to use perks that are "unfun."

    8. Killer bots are not allowed to use unfair powers. Hags teleporting, freddies teleporting, any character that has an instadown ability.

    9. Killer bots are not allowed to use addons.

    Any others im forgetting?

I'm not telling you how to play. I'm saying to not use this terrible excuse as the existance of other players makes it an invalid argument.

How is that is hard for people to understand?
