Are we seriously still complaining about DS?
-
I’d say certain builds can definitely carry you. Blight’s who run the basic blight build often aren’t good with his power and use the perks to compensate
-
That’s the risk of a totem perk. If you don’t want that to happen bring more reliable perks in

Wraith: gets nerfed.
Clown: now has 10 bottles by default and reloading doesn’t decrease movement speed.
*Everyone moves to Clown*
”Clown is OP pls nerf!”
Clown: gets nerfed.
Trapper: can carry all traps by default.
*Everyone moves to Trapper*
”Trapper is OP pls nerf!”
Trapper: gets nerfed.
Legion: feral frenzy decreases survivor movement speed.
*Everyone moves to Legion*
”Legion is OP pls nerf*
…
It’s a never ending cycle!
Tbf 10 bottle clown sounds kinda ridiculous. Plus throwing 10 gas clouds would probably crash current gen consoles

Nope. Wraith is the perfect balance of a killer that doesn't need add-on. His add-on also change his style of play WITHOUT stupid hindrances which makes the add-on USELESS.
But this add on gives way too much benefit. Let’s compare it to other aura addons
Bubba’s light chassis: Reduces his movement speed in use and can only hold it for so long
Clown’s cigar box and middle finger: Intoxicated survivors already give away positions and antidote’s cut into your tonic supply
Hag: Only last 5 seconds max and hag can just teleport and hit most the time anyway.
Myers: comes with a massive downside of being stuck to 105% move speed and can’t effectively chase survivors
Wraith’s has no downside and allows him massive info and a complete removal of stealth while also being useful in loops

The downside is it takes up an addon slot, all seeing is nice but it means you only have one other addon slot meaning while you can get more information you are weaker using your power then with different addons
That was definitely an issue before but now wraith isn’t add on reliant. You can run without windstorm and do just fine

Yeah I agree with that but I’m really getting tired of seeing the constant posts that complains about Wraith. It’s the same thing with Spirit a while back.
Both of them are kinda justified. Spirit is being completely ignored by the devs despite her being unanimously agreed on to be OP and wraith is very strong while also being very easy to play
Same happens for dead hard or BT really

Iri head was changed to only have one hatchet no matter any other add-ons which is what they originally intended for it before people started combining it with infantry belt. It's still an instant down. Iri-addons are more often then not going to be powerful. Huntress has her iri hatchets which are an instant down. Red heads pinky finger is an instant down if the clown can hit you directly then hit you with his weapon. trickster has an add-on that exposes you when you are about to be injured by his knives. Michael has perma tier 3 and instant kills. Nemesis has an iri add-on that exposes people who use the antidote. Iridescent blight tag insta downs if you hit the survivor on your last rush. Twins have an add-on that expose you if you crush victor. Hell trapper has a purple add-on that can bring survivors from healthy to dying. Why are you complaining specifically about pinky finger when loads of better killers have similar iridescents or powers that can do what pinky finger does better.
Trickster’s is pretty much the same but on a 110% killer and is slightly harder to hit
Michael’s perma T3 comes at a huge cost to his early game and he can potentially lose due to a bad T1. Clown has no such downside
Nemesis’ add on is fairly useless since most people use the vaccine far away from him.
Twin’s is only on an idle Victor so it will only work once against coordinating survivors.
Honing stone while strong isn’t really used since bags and setting tools are generally better

Fun isn't a balance metric and the game doesn't operate on your tastes
Either way the add on isn’t balanced. It gives clown an insane benefit (insta downs) with little cost or effort
-
@GannTM said:
Can we please tone down with the Wraith hate posts? We get it, y’all hate Wraith because he’s actually good now.
At least this one is talking about his add ons which are actually quite strong. His base kit has no reason to be complained about
-
All seeing blood. The one that tracks survivors for free with no downside
-
His only add on that needs a nerf is all seeing otherwise he’s fine

Exactly, all these people comparing pinky finger to iri-head while that's not the point... both are dumb and not fun at all to play against.
Not only is it unfun it actively hinders a clown player learning. It encourages you to just spams direct bottles at someone until you get the direct and go for a down. I’m all for playstyle changing add ons but they have to be interesting changes
-
@Warcrafter4 said:
Clown sucks so badly that it can exist and not effect his kill rate in any significant way.
Think about that for a minute then tell me again why it should be removed.
Because it’s a dumb add on that turns clown from a C tier killer to a high B tier killer?
-
It’s just dumb that they kept that yet removed his exhaustion bottles. Both were op and needed removal. Giving clown easy to access exposed is just dumb
-
Stealth kinda dies off in the higher ranks. Killer perks and killer awareness improve and looping becomes much more prevalent
-
I honestly like no mither’s current state where it’s essentially a hard mode perk
-
Nurse is still rewarded more but yeah spirit is way too easy for how effective she is

It's bad sportsmanship so people really hate it. I play tennis & someone taunting me after I've lost is very aggravating & the same thing applies to dbd.
Tbf though BM is literally in every multiplayer game more of less compared to sport. It’s just something you have to get get used to really
-
Is tagging really that bad? I really don’t see how it bothered people so much
-
Lucky break is essentially impossible to balance in its current state. Right now I’d say it’s average but only with iron will
-
Can’t wait for blighted slinger and twins. Too bad Victor will stay the same
-
Nah they need to tell you to drop pallets as a diversion instead
-
@Hannacia said:
What they need to remove from the game is the pallet in killer shack. When i see survivor going there i already know they want to loop me for days. I dont even bother and just leave to find another survivor.
SBMM is welcomed change but i agree there are other changes and fixes they also need to make.
Most killers can deal with shack pretty easily. For example when I play clown shack pallet barely lasts like 15 seconds

Most I have seen say it is bad for the game as a whole, which is blatantly untrue and you can tell it influences people as I have read plenty of comments from people not high mmr against the change for literally no reason. It depends on who we are talking about, but there is plenty of propaganda.
I don’t really want it for the sole fact it has done nothing to improve my game experience. In all the tests my solo teammates have still been terrible and the killers have been either really good or trash. It cut into developing more important things
-
A killer can be dumpster tier but so long as they have a unique and relatively balanced concept I’m cool
-
I remember seeing a thread about how the audio queue on territorial imperative was broken. Who knows how long that was bugged
-
Opinions and propaganda are two different things
-

Map is fine once you learn it. Too many players are just unwilling to adapt.
The only problem I have is that it is too dark in some places.
So I adapt as billy on the map by not using my power for its main use?
-
Last test I literally felt no difference with solo queue teammates. Killers were generally better though
-
Let’s hope it’s forever
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
I think I know why. There's an exploit which allowed a survivor to "jump" onto a pipe while healing someone else, letting them run around outside the map and just leave the exit gates
What a well designed map with no flaws :)
-
They don’t fix maps in the game at least balance wise

There are games that have changed trophies on console actually, you're wrong

What about Xbox?

That still doesn't mean that they can't make it so dull totems or hex totems wont spawn ontop of a generator. They literally just have to move it. If they can program shifting map layouts, change loops. Im sure they can just not put totems next to an objective
But wouldn’t that make the situation worse? Think about it if I’m looking for ruin because I know the killer has it I just go to the areas away from gens and find it easily
-
These are the same devs who nerfed twins and Freddy before spirit so I have absolutely zero faith in them
-
@BrokenSouI said:

Yeap. Let's pretend like totem spawns also arnt an issue. Just run something else. EZ
They are definitely an issue on specific maps (mainly older ones) but they are inherently rng reliant and these complaints will never end because survivors will always sometimes spawn close or just happen upon one early
-
That’s how totems work if you don’t like it run more consistent slowdown like pop or corrupt
-
Didn’t seem too bad from my experience but I only played as my main
-
Haven’t bought anything in a while mainly because I don’t like the majority of the new killers (trickster and nemesis especially) but I think dbd is heading in a decent direction atm
-
What’s worse is once balanced maps have become worse namely Campbell’s chapel
-
Any build involving oppression or Gearhead
-
Just treat people how you would like to be treated honestly
-
Jane for survivor and clown for killer
-
When trickster exists only he can be the most unfun
-
I don’t think clown needs exhaustion on an add on. It’s way too strong for how easy it is to activate. I like your UR ideas though
-
That’s actually a cool concept for Gearhead. I’d probably keep the 2 hit requirement though and remove the cooldown
-

It was shadow-nerfed with the overheat update
His turning at the beginning and end of the charge is dramatically worse
Has this been tested? I honestly haven’t seen anyone say this before and since I’ve only played billy since his rework I wouldn’t know
-
@Snowbawlzzz said:
Not only his addons, but his flicking ability too. That needs to come back.
I don’t remember them ever nerfing his flick.
-
I’d rather they buff his base kit then make him reliant on add ons
Forgot to mention FIX HIS DAMN COOLDOWN ANIMATION
