Because some killer add-ons should be allowed to be strong, especially if they're pink and purple rarity. If you went down quick to Blight with Alchemist's Ring, you'd go down to Blight without it. His rushes can be dead angled, just like with Oni or Hillbilly. It's just more convenient for him not having to wait for a massive cooldown (in the grand scheme of things) for simply using his ability before he can use it again. Killer add-ons are supposed to improve their power, aren't they?
10 seconds isn’t massive. For reference legion takes 20, spirit takes 15 and demo teleport takes 10. You’re going to go down to a ring blight much faster in a lot of cases because he can instantly rush after the cooldown is over.
Add ons are supposed to improve and or change a power. The ring removes something blight needs to be balanced
-
Probably never. Licensed maps are literally all bad and despite any reworks they have received have stayed that way
-
Thing is he got absolutely no compensation. His add ons were neutered despite the only change that he need was for charge time to not stack and for a tuning guide nerf
Sure you can still play him but why wouldn’t I just play bubba or blight instead?
-
Just add a 30 second timer that resets on heal

i assume ur using older generation. 30 FPS is locked by system itself, so no matter the game, you will always be on 30fps.
New gen, works as intended on 60fps. Idk as I do not have, but maybe any fellow ps5 user with 120hz monitor/tv can confirm even 120 fps, to which ps5 allows (but i also think that game itself has to allowed it).
But I wouldnt mind honestly to show some love to controller settings and add deazones + acceleration regarding stick tilt, to have smoother aim
That’s not true. Games like red dead and sea of thieves run at 60 FPS on old gen consoles
-
Pretty sure he did. Either way the devs don’t listen to him so…
-
Changing revving move speed could make him too oppressive especially by that much

The mmr made the balance issues more visible. Now the devs need to decide what to do with this kind of information.
Well judging by how they balance around stats (pinhead, Freddy) the future ain’t looking bright

Deathslinger’s oni’s and clown’s are my favourites

I disagree, it's fine as is versus every killer except Bubbi Boi.
Tbf that’s more a problem with bubbi boi than with bt. I’d rather not accidentally overbuff it because 1 killer makes it redundant
-
Yep RPD is by far the worst map. Nothing even comes close
-
Not needed imo. The perk is fine as is

Why not just buff weaker killers so they can keep up?
More work. It’s easier to nerf the 2-3 meta killer than buff the 10-15 weaker ones. Plus the weaker ones tend to be considered more fun from my experience
-
That nurse and the other high tier killers need to be nerfed so that we can nerf survivor accordingly

His bottles do feel quite impactful, and both sides feel it.
Not that it really matters, but at least his bottles have a tangible effect even if the result is just mass Pre dropping and tons of screaming with nothing to show for it.
Pinhead more often than not is better off just not using his power except to shut down Dead Hard
I disagree unless it’s a map with a ton of walls. The slowdown chains give can be enough to get hits at many loops. They can also be used for scouting and distrupting box solving

Feels bad though the few times I'm running Open Handed. I love being situationally aware so Fearmonger stresses me out
True as a bond gamer the new buff actually hurts a lot
-
I don’t use exhaustion period. It’s funny seeing a killer run mindbreaker and know he wasted a slot
-
How is clown “too strong” if pinhead does what clown does better in certain areas and has passive map control?
-
I have a main rotation of 5 survivors
Jeff and Jane are my go to’s and my favourite
Tapp and Quentin are my licensed lads
Elodie is for my healing builds/challenges
If I had to choose my favourite it would probably be Jeff. I relate to him a lot and his cosmetics are mostly great despite how little he has
-
Plague’s censer is swung like a flail which is pretty ineffective as well as the fact a censer isn’t a weapon to begin with

For some reason I play against them a lot. Sometimes 3 times in a row, very common.
Damn well I don’t envy you tbh. Then again most my matches lately have been against nurse so I’m not having fun either :(
-
Where are you finding all these clowns? I swear the only time I see him is when I’m playing him
-
I can agree with most of these. DBD’s simplicity is its greatest strength and weakness

Eh. I find it more interesting when killers are deadly. Guess I am in minority.
After playing for hooks for years I got bored of it.
Hooking is the main objective though. We shouldn’t encourage head pops because it relies on luck as the main factor
-
BEST: Demise of the faithful
WORST: All kill and resident evil

Don't give the devs any ideas now.
They gave clown a bottle that can speed up both the killer and the survivors so its not past them to make the slow bottle effect both sides too.
Tbf that should never happen if you any good with clown and punishes people who mindlessly use bottles so I’m fine with it
-
Yeah breaking with environment is okay but that’s a big no. It’s like if clown got slowed by his own gas
-
Nah I play nice most games. Getting a 4k doesn’t mean much so making sure everyone has fun is more important

Indoor maps should be taken into consideration regarding balancing.
A survivor with Iron Will and Shadowstep is on a indoor map to killers what Spirit was to survivors. How can one be considered OP and the other one not?
Because shadowstep can be destroyed. Again if you gave it a global cooldown that would give the killer plenty of room to get things done in between boon uses. Anyway if we are balancing while taking indoor maps into account surely pigs boxes need a nerf? They can lead to almost guaranteed death if the survivor gets unlucky on a map like midwich or RPD

I can agree especially after reading that if you have than and thrill it could be up to 80% if it stacks, however, the time is the same for cleansing and blessing dull totems which can only be regressed by 30% if you use both and they stack.
The main problem, however, doesn't matter since killer perks are gone either way and there is no option to get rid of boons permanently and the distance of said boons can be full map sized if there is more than one boon active.
Boon radius is only an issue on multi level maps like RPD tbh

There's 5 totems at least on each map and trill is only 10% decrease to cleansing and blessing
I’m pretty sure the blessing speed stacks with the extra hex speed though making blessing hexes near impossible
-
Jump rope would definitely be a nice add on and one of his best.
-
There’s essentially a mass hysteria over lightborn and our Christmas event has ended before Christmas
-
I’m playing for honor at the moment which is probably more painful than dbd but way more rewarding

People only consider COH strong, because they haven´t realized how powerful Shadowstep is on indoor maps. Its just one steamer compilation away from becoming meta.
Tbf is that a problem with shadowstep or indoor maps? You could say the same thing about IW/lucky break for example.
Though boons going between floors is also stupid (looking at you RPD library)
-
Haunted is honestly fine as is but the other two sound cool
-
A lot of these sound like skill issues tbh

Boons need some kind of downside.
Remember, Hex perks are supposed to be high risk, high reward perks. Now if those hex perks, that are gone forever after cleansing them, are considered high reward, then what are boons?
Oh I agree. I’ve said multiple times in the past that there should be a global 45-60 second cooldown on boons once one is snuffed to give the killer some breathing room.
But I don’t want to see shadowstep and exponential destroyed because COH is too strong
-
If boons were unusable on hexes then you could bring a full hex build to make them completely useless. Plus it already takes longer to bless a hex especially if you bring thrill of the hunt
-
Clown is the only killer I really have fun with. I enjoy trapper, Freddy or wraith if I don’t want to play clown though
-
This is why we should be allowed to pick our own background. I just want my deathslinger background back :(
-
Problem with the COH change is it puts shadowstep and exponential in the dirt even though they are balanced. Just nerf COH itself
-

Unless you get some ######### indoor map like RPD or spread hook maps like swamp, you can get a decent value out of this perk.
I like it a lot, even paired it with agitation on some builds to get ######### done
Pretty much this. With clown you don’t even have to run agitation since your antidote can make up for the movement speed
The only bad rng I got was swamp but honestly that map is so bad it doesn’t really matter

This year has had quite a few good perks for Killer.
- Starstruck
- No Way Out
- Lethal Pursuer (it's grown on me)
- Deadlock
- Hex: Plaything
- Hex: Pentimento
- Pain Resonance
These are all pretty good perks.
Yeah it’s nice to have some more meta options. Even survivors got COH at least
-
@RainehDaze said:
Stop putting pain in so many perk names.
Seriously, the third scourge hook had better not have Pain in it, because that's just going to get confusing. Also when the game has grunts OF PAIN all over the place. Pain pain painy pain pain.
Third One needs to be called Scouge hook: Pain pain painy pain pain now
-

Finally a decent perk since undying
Tbf we’ve had some other okay ones. Mainly No way out which is actually very strong

You could track number of off meta perks used compared to meta ones
-
My main problem is how dead hard validation has ######### over different powers. It makes Victor easily crushable and eats nemesis’ tentacles. That needs to be fixed ASAP

Pinhead purely because I'm on console and pallet drop is same as breaking chains. Super awkward and I'm not switching my whole button layout just for him.
Devs need to add more button binding options.
This. It can also happen with artist if you try to repel to quickly after a vault

Trickster is just annoying as hell to me from his design, chase music and power
