It was obvious from the start that they wouldn't do that with the masks.
I mean, just look at our "legendary skins".They couldn't even add anything special like new voice, animation etc. for a 15$ Skin.
It definetely is a disappointment but as i said,it was a expected one
-
I would be excited honestly.
They seem to really care about the clown.
Started with a small but really really great buff for him. Then took their time to monitor his performance to decide whether that buff was enough for him or not.
Seems like they aren't happy with the clown yet and probably continue with some tweaks to make him better but not too strong.

How? He has the ability to hit through walls and can move at normal movement speed while charging it up.
Yes,but the only reliable way to get these hits is to wait for an animation lock.
He should still be able to fake his power to zone survivors but there should be a risk to it.
Make his movement speed while dragging his sword slower or make the delay when canceling his power a bit longer and he would be golden

- Spirit is ovrhyped. Don't get me wrong she's good, she's very good, but she's not this unstoppable beast people make her out to be. Same for Freddy and Pyramidhead.
- Nurse is still the only killer that comes close to looking OP. Now it takes a lot of practice to get that good and you need to make very few mistakes, but she still has by far the highest potential in the game and it's ridiculous that some people try to put Spirit over her in tier lists because they read others say it online.
- DS is also overrated. Killers can still hard tunnel/proxy camp through it, get one out of the game fast enough to try and win the game.
- $10,000 dollars on the line, competitive tournament and people are bringing NOED. Almost as if it's a really strong perk whereas some people try to downplay it and pretend it's bad.
- If killers hard tunnel then survivors need to rush gens to escape which means they don't have time to do 5 totems on top. Some people argue they have plenty of time.
I've been saying all this for a long time 🤔
You can't compare tournament level DBD to normal DBD.
That doesn't make any sense.
Everyone knows that Freddy,Pyramidhead and Spirit aren't OP in the sense of that you can't escape them at all ever. It's just really hard.
Nurse still being the best was never anything new
Using noed just makes sense considering how fast these teams repair the generators. It's pretty useless though because it should only confirm maybe one kill at best.
It is obvious that survivors need to rush gens if the killer is hard tunneling/camping but again, this should give the killer maybe 1 or 2 kills at best

Because he can zone for free and create lose-lose situations with survivors, without any penalty. All he needs is his zoning removed.
Completely removing is zoning abilities would kill him.
-
Nah,this forum just loves to overreact way too much.
-
His power is in a really good state right now. He doesn't need that much changes.
-Rework his addons
-Add a part of the buffs rat tail and rat liver would give him (The way the devs have done it with pig and the combat straps)
That would be enough for him

Did i say elite 4 man swf nope i say swf in general never said tourmanent squads i just said swf even if the swf is not elite they still have advantage on information on killer that is a fact.
I play both side but prefer killer i play survivor with friends casually but even then i notice how even casually playing the game im telling my friends where the killer is or am i getting updates on what going on with my friends regarding gen progress or killer location etc.
Regarding C21 i need to ask wheres the harm in a killer add on giving similar kind of information? that all swf have avaiable to them for free does it need to be a higher rarity yes i wont disagree there does it need nerfing no, while it does give you strong information its up to the killer how to respond to that information and make correct responses if they make wrong response to it then thats wasted information.
Balancing killer addons around SWF is just a really bad idea and makes solo survivor even harder than it already is.
This addon is basically a waaaaaaay better i'm all ears without a cooldown. That's not okay.
Reduce the range on it to 12m,only apply the scoring event if a survivors aura is revealed and apply the aura reading only while you are slammed against a wall/object.
This would encourage strategic play rather than getting huge amounts of information for free
-
I just hope that almost all of his addons get reworked.
They are all so bland and useless except range and longer killer instinct duration

Both as i been taking in different view points and yes tru3 is one of them but it doesnt matter as if you look at c21 and compare it to swf then you would make the same conclusion aswell.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1612564#Comment_1612564
The game is vastly 3-4 man swf though and you cant ignore that fact when you are looking at perks or add ons swf has to be taken into account before saying something is OP or to strong.
HOWEVER i have been testing it out with different combos and even tried the purple version of this type of add on to see if the purple is better that c21 (the one where while rushing the aura is shown in a 8 meter radius) it wasnt. I do agree that it not a green worth add on its a purple level and need to switch around with the other add on that i mentioned. HOWEVER thats it there no changes need to it as it not busted and not op just that it is in the wrong rarity that is all.
I don't know, the amount of actually good SWFs i went against in my 2 to 3 thousand hours of playing killer is pretty small.
Most games are against either solo survivors or bad to average SWFs.
Also, designing addons against good SWFs is just a really bad idea.
SWF should be balanced in another way not with killer addons. It also makes solo survivor even harder than it already is.

I do agree that clown needs a circus/carnival type of map

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/190624/healing-speed
Hi I can answer the second question for you:
No, you heal in 32 seconds. How it works is, when you perform an action, you're entering 1/1 charges each second, or c/s. 1/1 is just written as 1, so 1c/s. With self care, you heal at 50% speed, meaning you're entering only 50% of the charges, or 1/2 c/s. 1/2, or 0.5.
It takes 16 charges to fill up the healing bar. When someone else is healing you, they enter 1c/s. 16 charges needed, 16 seconds. When using Self Care, 0.5 charges each second, 16 charges needed, 32 seconds.
@[Deleted User] said:
The basic action speed formula is:
[Action Time] = [Base Action Time] / (1 + [Modifier])
So, as a simple example, let's imagine you're just running Botany Knowledge and you want to know how fast a normal heal is. As GoodBoyKaru said, the base heal time is 16s. So:
16s / (1 + .33 ) = 12s
Now, max Desperate Measures would give you 56% faster healing. I believe you need to calculate the increases and the decreases separately with this formula in order for the numbers to work out, so let's do it.
Healing speed with just Self Care:
16s / (1 - .5)) = 32s
Now, apply Botany and Desperate Measures:
32s / (1 + (.56+.33)) = 17s
So, assuming my math is good, you'd be almost down to normal healing speed with both perks!
I'd recommend you check this video out from int3r4ct. It does a good job of explaining how action speed is calculated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6VvGgT8zgE
Ah,right completely forgot about that.
I even watched that one video from int3r4ct at some point.
Math in this games seems a bit more complicated sometimes than you think.
Thanks for the help <3

Nope,Campbells Chapel should have been the map for the Blight and Clown should have gotten a whole circus/carnival like map with generators that power different attractions when completed

c21 is a strong add on that gives killers good info on survivors location on a near constant basis do you know what else give good info on a near constant location SWF on comms so how is it fair for SWF comms to have near constant information on killer but its not fair for a killer add on giving similar information?
if the game was just solo survivors then you can make a argument that it might be to strong but since swf exsits then its not as strong as people are making it out to be
just my thought on c21
The game isn't all 4 man SWF though.
This addon easily gives waaay too much info considering it's rarity.
It's too strong in its current form.

Distortion, Sole Survivor, Off The Record (to an extent).
In particular Sole Survivor. If just one other survivor is dead, then compound 21 is completely useless against you
Having to use those awful perks is NOT a counter.
This addon is way too good as it is right now.

I hate this meme with a passion.
Keeping people injured to a single health state does not help in the slightest. It doesn't impede them in the slightest having to constantly heal and failure to do so does not result in a down. /s
What meme?
Good survivors don't heal against legion anyway.
It's the same problem plague had before her buff

A killer without power? He can hit everyone right away, counts as a hit AND you gotta mend your self. That alone takes away time from generators. And it doesnt take long for him to get his power back again.
That's why you should never be together as survivor against the legion.
If all of you are always close to each other then it's easy for him to chain hits on all of you but if you all stay by yourself then he won't be able to do that.
-
This addon being green rarity is really busted.
It definetely should be iridescent and maybe only 12m instead of 16m
-
Sounds like a great idea.
I absolutely hate ghostfaces leaning funktion because of how clunky and awkward it is.
-
Legion is considered bad by many people because his power doesn't help him at downing people.
Sure, getting that first hit on survivors isn't hard but after that you are just a killer without power.
-
I could imagine that they will half the radius of that addon down to 8m.
Because right now it's way too strong.
OR
-Change it to an Ultra Rare addon, maybe with a 12m radius instead of 16m
-Make Compound Thirty-Three a purple addon
-Change Soul Chemical to green rarity
-
Sounds like a great idea.
That way i could finally have the bloody cosmetics for my claudette i couldn't get before because otherwise i would lose all the old items and offerings.

A good system would be if they were forced to appear at certain levels, like every 5 one should appear. Getting a character to level 50 and having all their personal perks at level 1 feels a bit silly.
The teachables of your character should just be at tier 3 immediatly to be honest.

For me it's the best healing perk, it start with a malus, but after 2 stacks it's a bonus, when 5 stacks its like we will make it and for the people in one perk. It's very strong.
Eh,it's really inconsistent.
You are better of just using botany knowledge or the healing perk from the new survivor felix.
But great if it works for you 👍

Yep,about 2 to 3 hours from now on

It also reduces the chances to get any skill checks while healing other survivors ;)

First 1 P3 the new killer and get all the perks on him, then i get the new perks for all the other killers.
Same thing on the survivor side

Are you serious? Quitting a match and frustrated for some flashlight clicks?
You're too soft man.
I saw nothing wrong with this game, no teabags, toxic plays, or pointing at the killer. Plus the Claudette played with no perks. Imagine DS, Unbreakable, Dead hard etc.
Otz made huge mistakes.
He picked up 2 DS's and the Meg in a wide open area without checking.
Just wanted to clarify that the Claudette probably played with perks but you can't see them if the survivor switches character in the pre game lobby

Not everyone wants to play spirit every game. It wouldn't be very interesting to watch either.
But he didn't play with addons which is a serious disadvantage on ghostface because of that big cooldown.
Also, there were quite a few mistakes he made in that video.
I mean, just picking up a survivor he knew that had DS is such an obvious one.

Yeah, those perk combos are absolutely insane.Imagine if killers had perks as strong as those.
You just can't use anything else then spirit or nurse against those kind of teams honestly

I'm going to disagree with a requirement to hook all survivors in a trial. Locating a super immersed survivor can be a hassle. I've had killer games where I never saw the 4th survivor just because they chose to live in a locker or a bush.
Perhaps a hook number requirement would be a better compromise. Such as 4 hook states. But I would count Dc's and hook suicides against that number. Survivor Dcs, that eats up 3 hook states.
Problem with that idea is,that now survivors could be moried that haven't even been hooked before.

Strange that they didnt put them in the PTB

Yeah he was but he was also buffed in the PTB but Blight wasnt
Well,PTB Blight was outdated and a week behind on changes the devs already made to him.
-
@PanicSquid said:
Countering a mori requires strategy. Unhook only when the killer is far away, heal up the moriable player, the rest of the team takes body blocks to protect the moriable if needed. Then split up and do gens.
Keys and moris shouldn't be compared. Moris allow you to remove a player or players from the trial early. While keys let open up another avenue of escape once other conditions are met.
But lets also not forget that you can find a key in a chest, you can bring add-ons to keep your key on death, and if you escape a trial with a key in your hands you keep it.
So the real question is: What should a Mori do?
Moris should only work after hooking everyone at least once because right now you may aswell let people die on their first hook because 99,9% of players that are using a mori will immediatly tunnel and mori the first person they managed to hook.
-
A dev already stated that the PTB version of the Blight was outdated and a week behind to the changes they already made to him

Why should Urban Evasion work when injured and instead Fixated doesn't?
I think the perk doesn't see much use expecially because it has almost no benefits, and 1 of those 2 benefits goes away when injured. a 20% bonus in walking is not that much of a deal since you'll be mostly running when being chased.
You would think they wouldn't do the same mistake twice after urban evasion but oh well
